سُورَةُ التَّوۡبَةِ

بَرَاۤءَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖٓ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ عَاهَدْتُّمْ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَۗ ١

ID Translation (Inilah pernyataan) pemutusan hubungan dari Allah dan Rasul-Nya (yang dihadapkan) kepada orang-orang musyrikin yang kamu (kaum muslimin) telah mengadakan perjanjian (dengan mereka).

EN Translation DISAVOWAL by God and His Apostle [is herewith announced] unto those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God, [and] with whom you [O: believers] have made a covenant.

فَسِيْحُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ اَرْبَعَةَ اَشْهُرٍ وَّاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى اللّٰهِ ۙوَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ مُخْزِى الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٢

ID Translation Maka berjalanlah kamu (kaum musyrikin) di muka bumi selama empat bulan dan ketahuilah bahwa sesungguhnya kamu tidak akan dapat melemahkan Allah, dan sesungguhnya Allah menghinakan orang-orang kafir.

EN Translation [Announce unto them:] "Go, then, [freely] about the earth for four months -but know that you can never elude God, and that, verily, God shall bring disgrace upon all who refuse to acknowledge the truth!"

وَاَذَانٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖٓ اِلَى النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْحَجِّ الْاَكْبَرِ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ بَرِيْۤءٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ەۙ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ ۗفَاِنْ تُبْتُمْ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْۚ وَاِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّكُمْ غَيْرُ مُعْجِزِى اللّٰهِ ۗوَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍۙ ٣

ID Translation Dan (inilah) suatu permakluman daripada Allah dan Rasul-Nya kepada umat manusia pada hari haji akbar bahwa sesungguhnya Allah dan Rasul-Nya berlepas diri dari orang-orang musyrikin. Kemudian jika kamu (kaum musyrikin) bertobat, maka bertaubat itu lebih baik bagimu; dan jika kamu berpaling, maka ketahuilah bahwa sesungguhnya kamu tidak dapat melemahkan Allah. Dan beritakanlah kepada orang-orang kafir (bahwa mereka akan mendapat) siksa yang pedih.

EN Translation And a proclamation from God and His Apostle [is herewith made] unto all mankind on this day of the Greatest Pilgrimage: "God disavows all who ascribe divinity to aught beside Him, and [so does] His Apostle. Hence, if you repent, it shall be for your own good; and if you turn away, then know that you can never elude God!" And unto those who are bent on denying the truth give thou [O Prophet] the tiding of grievous chastisement.

اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ عَاهَدْتُّمْ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْقُصُوْكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ اَحَدًا فَاَتِمُّوْٓا اِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ اِلٰى مُدَّتِهِمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ ٤

ID Translation kecuali orang-orang musyrikin yang kamu telah mengadakan perjanjian (dengan mereka) dan mereka tidak mengurangi sesuatu pun (dari isi perjanjian)mu dan tidak (pula) mereka membantu seseorang yang memusuhi kamu, maka terhadap mereka itu penuhilah janjinya sampai batas waktunya. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation But excepted shall be -from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - [people] with whom you [O believers] have made a covenant and who thereafter have in no wise failed to fulfil their obligations towards you, and neither have aided anyone against you: observe, then, your covenant with them until the end of the term agreed with them. Verily, God loves those who are conscious of Him.

فَاِذَا انْسَلَخَ الْاَشْهُرُ الْحُرُمُ فَاقْتُلُوا الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ حَيْثُ وَجَدْتُّمُوْهُمْ وَخُذُوْهُمْ وَاحْصُرُوْهُمْ وَاقْعُدُوْا لَهُمْ كُلَّ مَرْصَدٍۚ فَاِنْ تَابُوْا وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَوُا الزَّكٰوةَ فَخَلُّوْا سَبِيْلَهُمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٥

ID Translation Apabila sudah habis bulan-bulan Haram itu, maka bunuhlah orang-orang musyrikin itu dimana saja kamu jumpai mereka, dan tangkaplah mereka. Kepunglah mereka dan intailah ditempat pengintaian. Jika mereka bertaubat dan mendirikan sholat dan menunaikan zakat, maka berilah kebebasan kepada mereka untuk berjalan. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi maha Penyayang.

EN Translation And so, when the sacred months are over, slay those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God wherever you may come upon them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place! Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, let them go their way: for, behold, God is much forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

وَاِنْ اَحَدٌ مِّنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَاَجِرْهُ حَتّٰى يَسْمَعَ كَلٰمَ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ اَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهٗ ۗذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٦

ID Translation Dan jika seorang diantara orang-orang musyrikin itu meminta perlindungan kepadamu, maka lindungilah ia supaya ia sempat mendengar firman Allah, kemudian antarkanlah ia ketempat yang aman baginya. Demikian itu disebabkan mereka kaum yang tidak mengetahui.

EN Translation And if any of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God seeks thy protection, grant him protection, so that he might [be able to] hear the word of God [from thee]; and thereupon convey him to a place where he can feel secure: this, because they [may be] people who [sin only because they] do not know [the truth].

كَيْفَ يَكُوْنُ لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَعِنْدَ رَسُوْلِهٖٓ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ عَاهَدْتُّمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِۚ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوْا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيْمُوْا لَهُمْ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ ٧

ID Translation Bagaimana bisa ada perjanjian (aman) dari sisi Allah dan Rasul-Nya dengan orang-orang musyrikin, kecuali orang-orang yang kamu telah mengadakan perjanjian (dengan mereka) di dekat Masjidil haraam? maka selama mereka berlaku lurus terhadapmu, hendaklah kamu berlaku lurus (pula) terhadap mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation HOW COULD they who ascribe divinity to aught beside God be granted a covenant by God and His Apostle, unless it be those [of them] with whom you [O believers] have made a covenant in the vicinity of the Inviolable House of Worship? [As for the latter,] so long as they remain true to you, be true to them: for, verily, God loves those who are conscious of Him.

كَيْفَ وَاِنْ يَّظْهَرُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ لَا يَرْقُبُوْا فِيْكُمْ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّةً ۗيُرْضُوْنَكُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتَأْبٰى قُلُوْبُهُمْۚ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَۚ ٨

ID Translation Bagaimana bisa (ada perjanjian dari sisi Allah dan Rasul-Nya dengan orang-orang musyrikin), padahal jika mereka memperoleh kemenangan terhadap kamu, mereka tidak memelihara hubungan kekerabatan terhadap kamu dan tidak (pula mengindahkan) perjanjian. Mereka menyenangkan hatimu dengan mulutnya, sedang hatinya menolak. Dan kebanyakan mereka adalah orang-orang yang fasik (tidak menepati perjanjian).

EN Translation How [else could it be]? -since, if they [who are hostile to you] were to overcome you, they would not respect any tie [with you,] nor any obligation to protect [you]. They seek to please you with their mouths, the while their hearts remain averse [to you]; and most of them are iniquitous.

اِشْتَرَوْا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِهٖۗ اِنَّهُمْ سَاۤءَ مَاكَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Mereka menukarkan ayat-ayat Allah dengan harga yang sedikit, lalu mereka menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah. Sesungguhnya amat buruklah apa yang mereka kerjakan itu.

EN Translation God's messages have they bartered away for a trifling gain, and have thus turned away from His path: evil, behold, is all that they are wont to do,

لَا يَرْقُبُوْنَ فِيْ مُؤْمِنٍ اِلًّا وَّلَا ذِمَّةً ۗوَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُعْتَدُوْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Mereka tidak memelihara (hubungan) kerabat terhadap orang-orang mukmin dan tidak (pula mengindahkan) perjanjian. Dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang melampaui batas.

EN Translation respecting no tie and no protective obligation with regard to a believer; and it is they, they who transgress the bounds of what is right!

فَاِنْ تَابُوْا وَاَقَامُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَوُا الزَّكٰوةَ فَاِخْوَانُكُمْ فِى الدِّيْنِ ۗوَنُفَصِّلُ الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ ١١

ID Translation Jika mereka bertaubat, mendirikan sholat dan menunaikan zakat, maka (mereka itu) adalah saudara-saudaramu seagama. Dan Kami menjelaskan ayat-ayat itu bagi kaum yang mengetahui.

EN Translation Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, they become your brethren in faith: and clearly do We spell out these messages unto people of [innate] knowledge!

وَاِنْ نَّكَثُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوْا فِيْ دِيْنِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُوْٓا اَىِٕمَّةَ الْكُفْرِۙ اِنَّهُمْ لَآ اَيْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنْتَهُوْنَ ١٢

ID Translation Jika mereka merusak sumpah (janji)nya sesudah mereka berjanji, dan mereka mencerca agamamu, maka perangilah pemimpin-pemimpin orang-orang kafir itu, karena sesungguhnya mereka itu adalah orang-orang (yang tidak dapat dipegang) janjinya, agar supaya mereka berhenti.

EN Translation But if they break their solemn pledges after having concluded a covenant, and revile your religion, then fight against these archetypes of faithlessness who, behold, have no [regard for their own] pledges, so that they might desist [from aggression].

اَلَا تُقَاتِلُوْنَ قَوْمًا نَّكَثُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ وَهَمُّوْا بِاِخْرَاجِ الرَّسُوْلِ وَهُمْ بَدَءُوْكُمْ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۗ اَتَخْشَوْنَهُمْ ۚفَاللّٰهُ اَحَقُّ اَنْ تَخْشَوْهُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٣

ID Translation Mengapakah kamu tidak memerangi orang-orang yang merusak sumpah (janjinya), padahal mereka telah keras kemauannya untuk mengusir Rasul dan merekalah yang pertama mulai memerangi kamu? Mengapakah kamu takut kepada mereka padahal Allah-lah yang berhak untuk kamu takuti, jika kamu benar-benar orang yang beriman.

EN Translation Would you, perchance, fail to fight against people who have broken their solemn pledges, and have done all that they could to drive the Apostle away, and have been first to attack you? Do you hold them in awe? Nay, it is God alone of whom you ought to stand in awe, if you are [truly] believers!

قَاتِلُوْهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاَيْدِيْكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنْصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُوْرَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَۙ ١٤

ID Translation Perangilah mereka, niscaya Allah akan menghancurkan mereka dengan (perantaraan) tangan-tanganmu dan Allah akan menghinakan mereka dan menolong kamu terhadap mereka, serta melegakan hati orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation Fight against them! God will chastise them by your hands, and will bring disgrace upon them, and will succour you against them; and He will soothe the bosoms of those who believe,

وَيُذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قُلُوْبِهِمْۗ وَيَتُوْبُ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ١٥

ID Translation dan menghilangkan panas hati orang-orang mukmin. Dan Allah menerima taubat orang yang dikehendaki-Nya. Allah maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation and will remove the wrath that is in their hearts. And God will turn in His mercy unto whom He wills: for, God is all-knowing, wise.

اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تُتْرَكُوْا وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ جَاهَدُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا رَسُوْلِهٖ وَلَا الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَلِيْجَةً ۗوَاللّٰهُ خَبِيْرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦

ID Translation Apakah kamu mengira bahwa kamu akan dibiarkan, sedang Allah belum mengetahui (dalam kenyataan) orang-orang yang berjihad di antara kamu dan tidak mengambil menjadi teman yang setia selain Allah, Rasul-Nya dan orang-orang yang beriman. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation Do you [O believers] think that you will be spared unless God takes cognizance of your having striven hard [in His cause] without seeking help from any but God and His Apostle and those who believe in Him? For, God is aware of all that you do.

مَا كَانَ لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ اَنْ يَّعْمُرُوْا مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰهِ شٰهِدِيْنَ عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِهِمْ بِالْكُفْرِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْۚ وَ فِى النَّارِ هُمْ خٰلِدُوْنَ ١٧

ID Translation Tidaklah pantas orang-orang musyrik itu memakmurkan mesjid-mesjid Allah, sedang mereka mengakui bahwa mereka sendiri kafir. Itulah orang-orang yang sia-sia pekerjaannya, dan mereka kekal di dalam neraka.

EN Translation IT IS NOT for those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God to visit or tend God's houses of worship, the while [by their beliefs] they bear witness against themselves that they are denying the truth. It is they whose works shall come to nought, and they who in the fire shall abide

اِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰهِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَاَقَامَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَى الزَّكٰوةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ۗفَعَسٰٓى اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَنْ يَّكُوْنُوْا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِيْنَ ١٨

ID Translation Hanya yang memakmurkan masjid-masjid Allah ialah orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan Hari kemudian, serta tetap mendirikan shalat, menunaikan zakat dan tidak takut (kepada siapapun) selain kepada Allah, maka merekalah orang-orang yang diharapkan termasuk golongan orang-orang yang mendapat petunjuk.

EN Translation Only he should visit or tend God's houses of worship who believes in God and the Last Day, and is constant in prayer, and spends in charity, and stands in awe of none but God: for [only such as] these may hope to be among the right-guided!

۞ اَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ الْحَاۤجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَجَاهَدَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗ لَا يَسْتَوٗنَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَۘ ١٩

ID Translation Apakah (orang-orang) yang memberi minuman orang-orang yang mengerjakan haji dan mengurus Masjidilharam kamu samakan dengan orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari kemudian serta bejihad di jalan Allah? Mereka tidak sama di sisi Allah; dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang zalim.

EN Translation Do you, perchance, regard the [mere] giving of water to pilgrims and the tending of the Inviolable House of Worship as being equal to [the works of] one who believes in God and the Last Day and strives hard in God's cause? These [things] are not equal in the sight of God. And God does not grace with His guidance people who [deliberately] do wrong.

اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَهَاجَرُوْا وَجَاهَدُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْۙ اَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْفَاۤىِٕزُوْنَ ٢٠

ID Translation orang-orang yang beriman dan berhijrah serta berjihad di jalan Allah dengan harta, benda dan diri mereka, adalah lebih tinggi derajatnya di sisi Allah; dan itulah orang-orang yang mendapat kemenangan.

EN Translation Those who believe, and who have forsaken the domain of evil and have striven hard in God's cause with their possessions and their lives have the highest rank in the sight of God; and it is they, they who shall triumph [in the end]!

يُبَشِّرُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنْهُ وَرِضْوَانٍ وَّجَنّٰتٍ لَّهُمْ فِيْهَا نَعِيْمٌ مُّقِيْمٌۙ ٢١

ID Translation Tuhan mereka menggembirakan mereka dengan memberikan rahmat dari pada-Nya, keridhaan dan surga, mereka memperoleh didalamnya kesenangan yang kekal,

EN Translation Their Sustainer gives them the glad tiding of the grace [that flows] from Him, and of [His] goodly acceptance, and of the gardens which await them, full of lasting bliss,

خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًا ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عِنْدَهٗٓ اَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ ٢٢

ID Translation mereka kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Sesungguhnya di sisi Allah-lah pahala yang besar.

EN Translation therein to abide beyond the count of time. Verily, with God is a mighty reward!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوْٓا اٰبَاۤءَكُمْ وَاِخْوَانَكُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ اِنِ اسْتَحَبُّوا الْكُفْرَ عَلَى الْاِيْمَانِۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّهُمْ مِّنْكُمْ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ٢٣

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman, janganlah kamu jadikan bapa-bapa dan saudara-saudaramu menjadi wali(mu), jika mereka lebih mengutamakan kekafiran atas keimanan dan siapa di antara kamu yang menjadikan mereka wali, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not take your fathers and your brothers for allies if a denial of the truth is dearer to them than faith: for those of you who ally themselves with them-it is they, they who are evildoers!

قُلْ اِنْ كَانَ اٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ وَاَبْنَاۤؤُكُمْ وَاِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاَزْوَاجُكُمْ وَعَشِيْرَتُكُمْ وَاَمْوَالُ ِۨاقْتَرَفْتُمُوْهَا وَتِجَارَةٌ تَخْشَوْنَ كَسَادَهَا وَمَسٰكِنُ تَرْضَوْنَهَآ اَحَبَّ اِلَيْكُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَجِهَادٍ فِيْ سَبِيْلِهٖ فَتَرَبَّصُوْا حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَ اللّٰهُ بِاَمْرِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٢٤

ID Translation Katakanlah: "jika bapa-bapa, anak-anak, saudara-saudara, isteri-isteri, kaum keluargamu, harta kekayaan yang kamu usahakan, perniagaan yang kamu khawatiri kerugiannya, dan tempat tinggal yang kamu sukai, adalah lebih kamu cintai dari Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan dari berjihad di jalan-Nya, maka tunggulah sampai Allah mendatangkan keputusan-Nya". Dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation Say: "If your fathers and your sons and your brothers and your spouses and your clan, and the worldly goods which you have acquired, and the commerce whereof you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you take pleasure - [if all these] are dearer to you than God and His Apostle and the struggle in His cause, then wait until God makes manifest His will; and [know that] God does not grace iniquitous folk with His guidance."

لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ فِيْ مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيْرَةٍۙ وَّيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍۙ اِذْ اَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنْكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْاَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُمْ مُّدْبِرِيْنَۚ ٢٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah menolong kamu (hai para mukminin) di medan peperangan yang banyak, dan (ingatlah) peperangan Hunain, yaitu diwaktu kamu menjadi congkak karena banyaknya jumlah(mu), maka jumlah yang banyak itu tidak memberi manfaat kepadamu sedikitpun, dan bumi yang luas itu telah terasa sempit olehmu, kemudian kamu lari kebelakang dengan bercerai-berai.

EN Translation Indeed, God has succoured you on many battlefields, [when you were few;] and [He did so, too,] on the Day of Hunayn, when you took pride in your great numbers and they proved of no avail whatever to you -for the earth, despite all its vastness, became [too] narrow for you and you turned back, retreating:

ثُمَّ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ سَكِيْنَتَهٗ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاَنْزَلَ جُنُوْدًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۗ وَذٰلِكَ جَزَاۤءُ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٢٦

ID Translation Kemudian Allah menurunkan ketenangan kepada Rasul-Nya dan kepada orang-orang yang beriman, dan Allah menurunkan bala tentara yang kamu tiada melihatnya, dan Allah menimpakan bencana kepada orang-orang yang kafir, dan demikianlah pembalasan kepada orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation whereupon God bestowed from on high His [gift of] inner peace upon His Apostle and upon the believers, and bestowed [upon you] from on high forces which you could not see, and chastised those who were bent on denying the truth: for such is the recompense of all who deny the truth!

ثُمَّ يَتُوْبُ اللّٰهُ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٢٧

ID Translation Sesudah itu Allah menerima taubat dari orang-orang yang dikehendaki-Nya. Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation But with all this, God will turn in His mercy unto whom He wills: for God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هٰذَا ۚوَاِنْ خِفْتُمْ عَيْلَةً فَسَوْفَ يُغْنِيْكُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖٓ اِنْ شَاۤءَۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ٢٨

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang musyrik itu najis, maka janganlah mereka mendekati Masjidilharam sesudah tahun ini. Dan jika kamu khawatir menjadi miskin, maka Allah nanti akan memberimu kekayaan kepadamu dari karunia-Nya, jika Dia menghendaki. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God are nothing but impure: and so they shall not approach the Inviolable House of Worship from this year onwards And should you fear poverty, then [know that] in time God will enrich you out of His bounty, if He so wills: for, verily, God is all-knowing, wise!

قَاتِلُوا الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُوْنَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَلَا يَدِيْنُوْنَ دِيْنَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ حَتّٰى يُعْطُوا الْجِزْيَةَ عَنْ يَّدٍ وَّهُمْ صَاغِرُوْنَ ٢٩

ID Translation Perangilah orang-orang yang tidak beriman kepada Allah dan tidak (pula) kepada hari kemudian, dan mereka tidak mengharamkan apa yang diharamkan oleh Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan tidak beragama dengan agama yang benar (agama Allah), (yaitu orang-orang) yang diberikan Al-Kitab kepada mereka, sampai mereka membayar jizyah dengan patuh sedang mereka dalam keadaan tunduk.

EN Translation [And] fight against those who - despite having been vouchsafed revelation [aforetime] -do not [truly] believe either in God or the Last Day, and do not consider forbidden that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and do not follow the religion of truth [which God has enjoined upon them] till they [agree to] pay the exemption tax with a willing hand, after having been humbled [in war].

وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عُزَيْرُ ِۨابْنُ اللّٰهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَى الْمَسِيْحُ ابْنُ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْۚ يُضَاهِـُٔوْنَ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗقَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚ اَنّٰى يُؤْفَكُوْنَ ٣٠

ID Translation Orang-orang Yahudi berkata: "Uzair itu putera Allah" dan orang-orang Nasrani berkata: "Al Masih itu putera Allah". Demikianlah itu ucapan mereka dengan mulut mereka, mereka meniru perkataan orang-orang kafir yang terdahulu. Dilaknati Allah mereka, bagaimana mereka sampai berpaling?

EN Translation AND THE JEWS say, "Ezra is God's son," while the Christians say, "The Christ is God's son." Such are the sayings which they utter with their mouths, following in spirit assertions made in earlier times by people who denied the truth! [They deserve the imprecation:] "May God destroy them!" How perverted are their minds!

اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَحْبَارَهُمْ وَرُهْبَانَهُمْ اَرْبَابًا مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَالْمَسِيْحَ ابْنَ مَرْيَمَۚ وَمَآ اُمِرُوْٓا اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلٰهًا وَّاحِدًاۚ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۗ سُبْحٰنَهٗ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ٣١

ID Translation Mereka menjadikan orang-orang alimnya dan rahib-rahib mereka sebagai tuhan selain Allah dan (juga mereka mempertuhankan) Al Masih putera Maryam, padahal mereka hanya disuruh menyembah Tuhan yang Esa, tidak ada Tuhan (yang berhak disembah) selain Dia. Maha suci Allah dari apa yang mereka persekutukan.

EN Translation They have taken their rabbis and their monks-as well as the Christ, son of Mary-for their lords beside God, although they had been bidden to worship none but the One God, save whom there is no deity: the One who is utterly remote, in His limitless glory, from anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity!

يُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ يُّطْفِـُٔوْا نُوْرَ اللّٰهِ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّٰهُ اِلَّآ اَنْ يُّتِمَّ نُوْرَهٗ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ٣٢

ID Translation Mereka berkehendak memadamkan cahaya (agama) Allah dengan mulut (ucapan-ucapan) mereka, dan Allah tidak menghendaki selain menyempurnakan cahaya-Nya, walaupun orang-orang yang kafir tidak menyukai.

EN Translation They want to extinguish God's [guiding] light with their utterances: but God will not allow [this to pass], for He has willed to spread His light in all its fullness, however hateful this may be to all who deny the truth.

هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَهٗ بِالْهُدٰى وَدِيْنِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهٖۙ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ ٣٣

ID Translation Dialah yang telah mengutus Rasul-Nya (dengan membawa) petunjuk (Al-Quran) dan agama yang benar untuk dimenangkan-Nya atas segala agama, walaupun orang-orang musyrikin tidak menyukai.

EN Translation He it is who has sent forth His Apostle with the [task of spreading] guidance and the religion of truth, to the end that He may cause it to prevail over all [false] religion -however hateful this may be to those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God.

۞ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنَّ كَثِيْرًا مِّنَ الْاَحْبَارِ وَالرُّهْبَانِ لَيَأْكُلُوْنَ اَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَيَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَالَّذِيْنَ يَكْنِزُوْنَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ وَلَا يُنْفِقُوْنَهَا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۙفَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍۙ ٣٤

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, sesungguhnya sebahagian besar dari orang-orang alim Yahudi dan rahib-rahib Nasrani benar-benar memakan harta orang dengan jalan batil dan mereka menghalang-halangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah. Dan orang-orang yang menyimpan emas dan perak dan tidak menafkahkannya pada jalan Allah, maka beritahukanlah kepada mereka, (bahwa mereka akan mendapat) siksa yang pedih,

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Behold, many of the rabbis and monks do indeed wrongfully devour men's possessions and turn [others] away from the path of God. But as for all who lay up treasures of gold and silver and do not spend them for the sake of God - give them the tiding of grievous suffering [in the life to come]:

يَّوْمَ يُحْمٰى عَلَيْهَا فِيْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوٰى بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوْبُهُمْ وَظُهُوْرُهُمْۗ هٰذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِاَنْفُسِكُمْ فَذُوْقُوْا مَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْنِزُوْنَ ٣٥

ID Translation pada hari dipanaskan emas perak itu dalam neraka jahannam, lalu dibakar dengannya dahi mereka, lambung dan punggung mereka (lalu dikatakan) kepada mereka: "Inilah harta bendamu yang kamu simpan untuk dirimu sendiri, maka rasakanlah sekarang (akibat dari) apa yang kamu simpan itu".

EN Translation on the Day when that [hoarded wealth] shall be heated in the fire of hell and their foreheads and their sides and their backs branded therewith, [those sinners shall be told:] "These are the treasures which you have laid up for yourselves! Taste, then, [the evil of] your hoarded treasures!"

اِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُوْرِ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْرًا فِيْ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ مِنْهَآ اَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ ۗذٰلِكَ الدِّيْنُ الْقَيِّمُ ەۙ فَلَا تَظْلِمُوْا فِيْهِنَّ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَقَاتِلُوا الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ كَاۤفَّةً كَمَا يُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ كَاۤفَّةً ۗوَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ ٣٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya bilangan bulan pada sisi Allah adalah dua belas bulan, dalam ketetapan Allah di waktu Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi, di antaranya empat bulan haram. Itulah (ketetapan) agama yang lurus, maka janganlah kamu menganiaya diri kamu dalam bulan yang empat itu, dan perangilah kaum musyrikin itu semuanya sebagaimana merekapun memerangi kamu semuanya, dan ketahuilah bahwasanya Allah beserta orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation BEHOLD, the number of months, in the sight of God, is twelve months, [laid down] in God's decree on the day when He created the heavens and the earth; [and] out of these, four are sacred: this is the ever-true law [of God]. Do not, then, sin against yourselves with regard to these [months]. And fight against those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God, all together-just as they fight against you, [O believers,] all together -and know that God is with those who are conscious of Him.

اِنَّمَا النَّسِيْۤءُ زِيَادَةٌ فِى الْكُفْرِ يُضَلُّ بِهِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُحِلُّوْنَهٗ عَامًا وَّيُحَرِّمُوْنَهٗ عَامًا لِّيُوَاطِـُٔوْا عِدَّةَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ فَيُحِلُّوْا مَا حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ ۗزُيِّنَ لَهُمْ سُوْۤءُ اَعْمَالِهِمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٣٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya mengundur-undurkan bulan haram itu adalah menambah kekafiran. Disesatkan orang-orang yang kafir dengan mengundur-undurkan itu, mereka menghalalkannya pada suatu tahun dan mengharamkannya pada tahun yang lain, agar mereka dapat mempersesuaikan dengan bilangan yang Allah mengharamkannya, maka mereka menghalalkan apa yang diharamkan Allah. (Syaitan) menjadikan mereka memandang perbuatan mereka yang buruk itu. Dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation The intercalation [of months] is but one more instance of [their] refusal to acknowledge the truth- [a means] by which those who are bent on denying the truth are led astray. They declare this [intercalation] to be permissible in one year and forbidden in [another] year, in order to conform [outwardly] to the number of months which God has hallowed: and thus they make allowable what God has forbidden. Goodly seems unto them the evil of their own doings, since God does not grace with His guidance people who refuse to acknowledge the truth.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَا لَكُمْ اِذَا قِيْلَ لَكُمُ انْفِرُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اثَّاقَلْتُمْ اِلَى الْاَرْضِۗ اَرَضِيْتُمْ بِالْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْاٰخِرَةِۚ فَمَا مَتَاعُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ اِلَّا قَلِيْلٌ ٣٨

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, apakah sebabnya bila dikatakan kepadamu: "Berangkatlah (untuk berperang) pada jalan Allah" kamu merasa berat dan ingin tinggal di tempatmu? Apakah kamu puas dengan kehidupan di dunia sebagai ganti kehidupan di akhirat? Padahal kenikmatan hidup di dunia ini (dibandingkan dengan kehidupan) diakhirat hanyalah sedikit.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! What is amiss with you that, when you are called upon, "Go forth to war in God's cause," you cling heavily to the earth? Would you content yourselves with [the comforts of] this worldly life in preference to [the good of] the life to come? But the enjoyment of life in this world is but a paltry thing when compared with the life to come!

اِلَّا تَنْفِرُوْا يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيمًاۙ وَّيَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّوْهُ شَيْـًٔاۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٣٩

ID Translation Jika kamu tidak berangkat untuk berperang, niscaya Allah menyiksa kamu dengan siksa yang pedih dan digantinya (kamu) dengan kaum yang lain, dan kamu tidak akan dapat memberi kemudharatan kepada-Nya sedikitpun. Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation If you do not go forth to war [in God's cause], He will chastise you with grievous chastisement, and will place another people in your stead - whereas you shall in no wise harm Him: for, God has the power to will anything.

اِلَّا تَنْصُرُوْهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللّٰهُ اِذْ اَخْرَجَهُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ اِذْ هُمَا فِى الْغَارِ اِذْ يَقُوْلُ لِصَاحِبِهٖ لَا تَحْزَنْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَنَاۚ فَاَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ سَكِيْنَتَهٗ عَلَيْهِ وَاَيَّدَهٗ بِجُنُوْدٍ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا السُّفْلٰىۗ وَكَلِمَةُ اللّٰهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَاۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَزِيْزٌ حَكِيْمٌ ٤٠

ID Translation Jikalau kamu tidak menolongnya (Muhammad) maka sesungguhnya Allah telah menolongnya (yaitu) ketika orang-orang kafir (musyrikin Mekah) mengeluarkannya (dari Mekah) sedang dia salah seorang dari dua orang ketika keduanya berada dalam gua, di waktu dia berkata kepada temannya: "Janganlah kamu berduka cita, sesungguhnya Allah beserta kita". Maka Allah menurunkan keterangan-Nya kepada (Muhammad) dan membantunya dengan tentara yang kamu tidak melihatnya, dan Al-Quran menjadikan orang-orang kafir itulah yang rendah. Dan kalimat Allah itulah yang tinggi. Allah Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation If you do not succour the Apostle, then [know that God will do so -just as] God succoured him at the time when those who were bent on denying the truth drove him away, [and he was but] one of two: when these two were [hiding] in the cave, [and] the Apostle said to his companion, "Grieve not: verily, God is with us." And thereupon God bestowed upon him from on high His (gift of] inner peace, and brought utterly low the cause of those who were bent on denying the truth, whereas the cause of God remained supreme: for God is almighty, wise.

اِنْفِرُوْا خِفَافًا وَّثِقَالًا وَّجَاهِدُوْا بِاَمْوَالِكُمْ وَاَنْفُسِكُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٤١

ID Translation Berangkatlah kamu baik dalam keadaan merasa ringan maupun berat, dan berjihadlah kamu dengan harta dan dirimu di jalan Allah. Yang demikian itu adalah lebih baik bagimu, jika kamu mengetahui.

EN Translation Go forth to war, whether it be easy or difficult [for you], and strive hard in God's cause with your possessions and your lives: this is for your own good -if you but knew it!

لَوْ كَانَ عَرَضًا قَرِيْبًا وَّسَفَرًا قَاصِدًا لَّاتَّبَعُوْكَ وَلٰكِنْۢ بَعُدَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّقَّةُۗ وَسَيَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَوِ اسْتَطَعْنَا لَخَرَجْنَا مَعَكُمْۚ يُهْلِكُوْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْۚ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ اِنَّهُمْ لَكٰذِبُوْنَ ٤٢

ID Translation Kalau yang kamu serukan kepada mereka itu keuntungan yang mudah diperoleh dan perjalanan yang tidak seberapa jauh, pastilah mereka mengikutimu, tetapi tempat yang dituju itu amat jauh terasa oleh mereka. Mereka akan bersumpah dengan (nama) Allah: "Jikalau kami sanggup tentulah kami berangkat bersama-samamu". Mereka membinasakan diri mereka sendiri dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya mereka benar-benar orang-orang yang berdusta.

EN Translation Had there been [a prospect of] immediate gain, and an easy journey, they would certainly have followed thee, [O Prophet:] but the distance was too great for them. And yet, [after your return, O believers,] they will swear by God, "Had we been able to do so, we would certainly have set out with you!" - [and by thus falsely swearing] they will be destroying their own selves: for God knows indeed that they are lying!

عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْكَۚ لِمَ اَذِنْتَ لَهُمْ حَتّٰى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكَ الَّذِيْنَ صَدَقُوْا وَتَعْلَمَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ٤٣

ID Translation Semoga Allah memaafkanmu. Mengapa kamu memberi izin kepada mereka (untuk tidak pergi berperang), sebelum jelas bagimu orang-orang yang benar (dalam keuzurannya) dan sebelum kamu ketahui orang-orang yang berdusta?

EN Translation May God pardon thee [O Prophet]! Why didst thou grant them permission [to stay at home] ere it had become obvious to thee as to who was speaking the truth, and [ere] thou camest to know. [who were] the liars?

لَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ اَنْ يُّجَاهِدُوْا بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِالْمُتَّقِيْنَ ٤٤

ID Translation Orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari kemudian, tidak akan meminta izin kepadamu untuk tidak ikut berjihad dengan harta dan diri mereka. Dan Allah mengetahui orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation Those who [truly] believe in God and the Last Day do not ask thee for exemption from struggling with their possessions and their lives [in God's cause]-and God has full knowledge as to who is conscious of Him-:

اِنَّمَا يَسْتَأْذِنُكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَارْتَابَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ فَهُمْ فِيْ رَيْبِهِمْ يَتَرَدَّدُوْنَ ٤٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya yang akan meminta izin kepadamu, hanyalah orang-orang yang tidak beriman kepada Allah dan hari kemudian, dan hati mereka ragu-ragu, karena itu mereka selalu bimbang dalam keraguannya.

EN Translation only those ask thee for exemption who do not [truly] believe in God and the Last Day and whose hearts have become a prey to doubt, so that in their doubting they waver between one thing and another.

۞ وَلَوْ اَرَادُوا الْخُرُوْجَ لَاَعَدُّوْا لَهٗ عُدَّةً وَّلٰكِنْ كَرِهَ اللّٰهُ انْۢبِعَاثَهُمْ فَثَبَّطَهُمْ وَقِيْلَ اقْعُدُوْا مَعَ الْقٰعِدِيْنَ ٤٦

ID Translation Dan jika mereka mau berangkat, tentulah mereka menyiapkan persiapan untuk keberangkatan itu, tetapi Allah tidak menyukai keberangkatan mereka, maka Allah melemahkan keinginan mereka. dan dikatakan kepada mereka: "Tinggallah kamu bersama orang-orang yang tinggal itu".

EN Translation For, had they been [truly] desirous of setting out [with thee], they would surely have made some preparation therefor: but God was averse to their taking the field, and so He caused them to hold back when it was said, "[You may] stay at home with all [the others] who stay at home."

لَوْ خَرَجُوْا فِيْكُمْ مَّا زَادُوْكُمْ اِلَّا خَبَالًا وَّلَاَوْضَعُوْا خِلٰلَكُمْ يَبْغُوْنَكُمُ الْفِتْنَةَۚ وَفِيْكُمْ سَمّٰعُوْنَ لَهُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِالظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٤٧

ID Translation Jika mereka berangkat bersama-sama kamu, niscaya mereka tidak menambah kamu selain dari kerusakan belaka, dan tentu mereka akan bergegas maju ke muka di celah-celah barisanmu, untuk mengadakan kekacauan di antara kamu; sedang di antara kamu ada orang-orang yang amat suka mendengarkan perkataan mereka. Dan Allah mengetahui orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation Had these [hypocrites] set out with_ you, [O believers,] they would have added nothing to you save the evil of corruption, and would surely have scurried to and fro in your midst, seeking to stir up discord among you, seeing that there are in your midst such as would have lent them ear: but God has full knowledge of the evildoers.

لَقَدِ ابْتَغَوُا الْفِتْنَةَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَقَلَّبُوْا لَكَ الْاُمُوْرَ حَتّٰى جَاۤءَ الْحَقُّ وَظَهَرَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ وَهُمْ كٰرِهُوْنَ ٤٨

ID Translation Sesungguhnya dari dahulupun mereka telah mencari-cari kekacauan dan mereka mengatur pelbagai macam tipu daya untuk (merusakkan)mu, hingga datanglah kebenaran (pertolongan Allah) dan menanglah agama Allah, padahal mereka tidak menyukainya.

EN Translation Indeed, even before this time have they tried to stir up discord and devised all manner of plots against thee, [O Prophet,] until the truth was revealed and God's will became manifest, however hateful this may have been to them.

وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ يَّقُوْلُ ائْذَنْ لِّيْ وَلَا تَفْتِنِّيْۗ اَلَا فِى الْفِتْنَةِ سَقَطُوْاۗ وَاِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيْطَةٌ ۢ بِالْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٤٩

ID Translation Di antara mereka ada orang yang berkata: "Berilah saya keizinan (tidak pergi berperang) dan janganlah kamu menjadikan saya terjerumus dalam fitnah". Ketahuilah bahwa mereka telah terjerumus ke dalam fitnah. Dan sesungguhnya Jahannam itu benar-benar meliputi orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation And among them there was [many a one] who said," Grant me permission [to remain at home], and do not put me to too hard a test!" Oh, verily, [by making such a request] they had [already failed in their test and] succumbed to a temptation to evil: and, behold, hell will indeed encompass all who refuse to acknowledge the truth!

اِنْ تُصِبْكَ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْۚ وَاِنْ تُصِبْكَ مُصِيْبَةٌ يَّقُوْلُوْا قَدْ اَخَذْنَآ اَمْرَنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَيَتَوَلَّوْا وَّهُمْ فَرِحُوْنَ ٥٠

ID Translation Jika kamu mendapat suatu kebaikan, mereka menjadi tidak senang karenanya; dan jika kamu ditimpa oleh sesuatu bencana, mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami sebelumnya telah memperhatikan urusan kami (tidak pergi perang)" dan mereka berpaling dengan rasa gembira.

EN Translation Should good fortune alight on thee, [O Prophet,] it will grieve them; and should misfortune befall thee, they will say [to themselves], "We have already taken our precautions beforehand!" - and will turn away, and will rejoice.

قُلْ لَّنْ يُّصِيْبَنَآ اِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَنَاۚ هُوَ مَوْلٰىنَا وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٥١

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Sekali-kali tidak akan menimpa kami melainkan apa yang telah ditetapkan Allah untuk kami. Dialah Pelindung kami, dan hanya kepada Allah orang-orang yang beriman harus bertawakal".

EN Translation Say: "Never can anything befall us save what God has decreed! He is our Lord Supreme; and in God let the believers place their trust!"

قُلْ هَلْ تَرَبَّصُوْنَ بِنَآ اِلَّآ اِحْدَى الْحُسْنَيَيْنِۗ وَنَحْنُ نَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمْ اَنْ يُّصِيْبَكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِعَذَابٍ مِّنْ عِنْدِهٖٓ اَوْ بِاَيْدِيْنَاۖ فَتَرَبَّصُوْٓا اِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُّتَرَبِّصُوْنَ ٥٢

ID Translation Katakanlah: "tidak ada yang kamu tunggu-tunggu bagi kami, kecuali salah satu dari dua kebaikan. Dan Kami menunggu-nunggu bagi kamu bahwa Allah akan menimpakan kepadamu azab (yang besar) dari sisi-Nya. Sebab itu tunggulah, sesungguhnya kami menunggu-nunggu bersamamu".

EN Translation Say: "Are you, perchance, hopefully waiting for something [bad] to happen to us-[the while nothing can happen to us] save one of the two best things? But as far as you are concerned, we are hopefully waiting for God to inflict chastisement upon you, [either] from Himself or by our hands! Wait, then, hopefully; behold, we shall hopefully wait with you!"

قُلْ اَنْفِقُوْا طَوْعًا اَوْ كَرْهًا لَّنْ يُّتَقَبَّلَ مِنْكُمْ ۗاِنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا فٰسِقِيْنَ ٥٣

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Nafkahkanlah hartamu, baik dengan sukarela ataupun dengan terpaksa, namun nafkah itu sekali-kali tidak akan diterima dari kamu. Sesungguhnya kamu adalah orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation Say: "You may spend [anything], willingly-or unwillingly, [pretending that you do it for the sake of God:] it shall never be accepted from you -for, verily, you are people bent on iniquity!"

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ اَنْ تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقٰتُهُمْ اِلَّآ اَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِرَسُوْلِهٖ وَلَا يَأْتُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ اِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالٰى وَلَا يُنْفِقُوْنَ اِلَّا وَهُمْ كٰرِهُوْنَ ٥٤

ID Translation Dan tidak ada yang menghalangi mereka untuk diterima dari mereka nafkah-nafkahnya melainkan karena mereka kafir kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan mereka tidak mengerjakan sembahyang, melainkan dengan malas dan tidak (pula) menafkahkan (harta) mereka, melainkan dengan rasa enggan.

EN Translation For, only this prevents their spending from being accepted from them: they are bent on refusing to acknowledge God and His Apostle, and never pray without reluctance, and never spend [on righteous causes] without resentment.

فَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُهُمْ ۗاِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ بِهَا فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ اَنْفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كٰفِرُوْنَ ٥٥

ID Translation Maka janganlah harta benda dan anak-anak mereka menarik hatimu. Sesungguhnya Allah menghendaki dengan (memberi) harta benda dan anak-anak itu untuk menyiksa mereka dalam kehidupan di dunia dan kelak akan melayang nyawa mereka, sedang mereka dalam keadaan kafir.

EN Translation Let not, then, their worldly goods or [the happiness which they may derive from] their children excite thy admiration: God but wants to chastise them by these means in this worldly life, and [to cause] their souls to depart while they are [still] denying the truth.

وَيَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ اِنَّهُمْ لَمِنْكُمْۗ وَمَا هُمْ مِّنْكُمْ وَلٰكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَّفْرَقُوْنَ ٥٦

ID Translation Dan mereka (orang-orang munafik) bersumpah dengan (nama) Allah, bahwa sesungguhnya mereka termasuk golonganmu; padahal mereka bukanlah dari golonganmu, akan tetapi mereka adalah orang-orang yang sangat takut (kepadamu).

EN Translation And they swear by God that they do indeed belong to you -the while they do not belong to you, but are [only] people ridden by fear:

لَوْ يَجِدُوْنَ مَلْجَاً اَوْ مَغٰرٰتٍ اَوْ مُدَّخَلًا لَّوَلَّوْا اِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُوْنَ ٥٧

ID Translation Jikalau mereka memperoleh tempat perlindunganmu atau gua-gua atau lobang-lobang (dalam tanah) niscaya mereka pergi kepadanya dengan secepat-cepatnya.

EN Translation if they could but find a place of refuge, or any cavern, or a crevice [in the earth], they would turn towards it in headlong haste.

وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ يَّلْمِزُكَ فِى الصَّدَقٰتِۚ فَاِنْ اُعْطُوْا مِنْهَا رَضُوْا وَاِنْ لَّمْ يُعْطَوْا مِنْهَآ اِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُوْنَ ٥٨

ID Translation Dan di antara mereka ada orang yang mencelamu tentang (distribusi) zakat; jika mereka diberi sebahagian dari padanya, mereka bersenang hati, dan jika mereka tidak diberi sebahagian dari padanya, dengan serta merta mereka menjadi marah.

EN Translation And among them are such as find fault with thee [O Prophet] concerning [the distribution of] the offerings given for the sake of God: if they are given something thereof, they are well-pleased; but if they are not given anything thereof, lo! they are consumed with anger.

وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْا مَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗۙ وَقَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ سَيُؤْتِيْنَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ وَرَسُوْلُهٗٓ اِنَّآ اِلَى اللّٰهِ رَاغِبُوْنَ ٥٩

ID Translation Jikalau mereka sungguh-sungguh ridha dengan apa yang diberikan Allah dan Rasul-Nya kepada mereka, dan berkata: "Cukuplah Allah bagi kami, Allah akan memberikan sebagian dari karunia-Nya dan demikian (pula) Rasul-Nya, sesungguhnya kami adalah orang-orang yang berharap kepada Allah," (tentulah yang demikian itu lebih baik bagi mereka).

EN Translation And yet, [it would be but for their own good] if they were to content themselves with what God has given them and [caused] His Apostle [to give them], and would say, "God is enough for us! God will give us [whatever He wills] out of His bounty, and [will cause] His Apostle [to give us, too]: verily, unto God alone do we turn with hope!"

۞ اِنَّمَا الصَّدَقٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَاۤءِ وَالْمَسٰكِيْنِ وَالْعَامِلِيْنَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوْبُهُمْ وَفِى الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِيْنَ وَفِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيْلِۗ فَرِيْضَةً مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ٦٠

ID Translation Sesungguhnya zakat-zakat itu, hanyalah untuk orang-orang fakir, orang-orang miskin, pengurus-pengurus zakat, para mu'allaf yang dibujuk hatinya, untuk (memerdekakan) budak, orang-orang yang berhutang, untuk jalan Allah dan untuk mereka yuang sedang dalam perjalanan, sebagai suatu ketetapan yang diwajibkan Allah, dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation The offerings given for the sake of God are [meant] only for the poor and the needy, and those who are in charge thereof, and those whose hearts are to be won over, and for the freeing of human beings from bondage, and [for] those who are over burdened with debts, and [for every struggle] in God's cause, and [for] the wayfarer: [this is] an ordinance from God - and God is all-knowing, wise.

وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْذُوْنَ النَّبِيَّ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ هُوَ اُذُنٌ ۗقُلْ اُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْذُوْنَ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٦١

ID Translation Di antara mereka (orang-orang munafik) ada yang menyakiti Nabi dan mengatakan: "Nabi mempercayai semua apa yang didengarnya". Katakanlah: "Ia mempercayai semua yang baik bagi kamu, ia beriman kepada Allah, mempercayai orang-orang mukmin, dan menjadi rahmat bagi orang-orang yang beriman di antara kamu". Dan orang-orang yang menyakiti Rasulullah itu, bagi mereka azab yang pedih.

EN Translation AND AMONG those [enemies of the truth] there are such as malign the Prophet by saying, "He is all ear." Say: "[Yes,] he is all ear, [listening] to what is good for you! He believes in God, and trusts the believers, and is [a manifestation of God's] grace towards such of you as have [truly] attained to faith. And as for those who malign God's Apostle - grievous suffering awaits them [in the life to come]!"

يَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوْكُمْ وَاللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗٓ اَحَقُّ اَنْ يُّرْضُوْهُ اِنْ كَانُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٦٢

ID Translation Mereka bersumpah kepada kamu dengan (nama) Allah untuk mencari keridhaanmu, padahal Allah dan Rasul-Nya itulah yang lebih patut mereka cari keridhaannya jika mereka adalah orang-orang yang mukmin.

EN Translation [The hypocrites] swear to you by God [that they are acting in good faith], with a view to pleasing you [O believers] - the while it is God and His Apostle whose pleasure they should seek above all else, if indeed they are believers!

اَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّهٗ مَنْ يُّحَادِدِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ فَاَنَّ لَهٗ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا فِيْهَاۗ ذٰلِكَ الْخِزْيُ الْعَظِيْمُ ٦٣

ID Translation Tidaklah mereka (orang-orang munafik itu) mengetahui bahwasanya barangsiapa menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, maka sesungguhnya nerakan jahannamlah baginya, kekal mereka di dalamnya. Itu adalah kehinaan yang besar.

EN Translation Do they not know that for him who sets himself against God and His Apostle there is in store the fire of hell, therein to abide -that most awesome disgrace?

يَحْذَرُ الْمُنٰفِقُوْنَ اَنْ تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُوْرَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْۗ قُلِ اسْتَهْزِءُوْاۚ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُوْنَ ٦٤

ID Translation Orang-orang yang munafik itu takut akan diturunkan terhadap mereka sesuatu surat yang menerangkan apa yang tersembunyi dalam hati mereka. Katakanlah kepada mereka: "Teruskanlah ejekan-ejekanmu (terhadap Allah dan rasul-Nya)". Sesungguhnya Allah akan menyatakan apa yang kamu takuti itu.

EN Translation [Some of] the hypocrites dread lest a [new] surah be revealed [in evidence] against them, making them understand what is [really] in their hearts. Say: "Go on mocking! Behold, God will bring to light the very thing that you are dreading!"

وَلَىِٕنْ سَاَلْتَهُمْ لَيَقُوْلُنَّ اِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوْضُ وَنَلْعَبُۗ قُلْ اَبِاللّٰهِ وَاٰيٰتِهٖ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ٦٥

ID Translation Dan jika kamu tanyakan kepada mereka (tentang apa yang mereka lakukan itu), tentulah mereka akan manjawab, "Sesungguhnya kami hanyalah bersenda gurau dan bermain-main saja". Katakanlah: "Apakah dengan Allah, ayat-ayat-Nya dan Rasul-Nya kamu selalu berolok-olok?"

EN Translation Yet, indeed, if thou wert to question them. they would surely answer, "We were only indulging in idle talk, and were playing [with words]. Say: "Were you, then. mocking at God and His messages and His Apostle?

لَا تَعْتَذِرُوْا قَدْ كَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ اِيْمَانِكُمْ ۗ اِنْ نَّعْفُ عَنْ طَاۤىِٕفَةٍ مِّنْكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَاۤىِٕفَةً ۢ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا مُجْرِمِيْنَ ٦٦

ID Translation Tidak usah kamu minta maaf, karena kamu kafir sesudah beriman. Jika Kami memaafkan segolongan kamu (lantaran mereka taubat), niscaya Kami akan mengazab golongan (yang lain) disebabkan mereka adalah orang-orang yang selalu berbuat dosa.

EN Translation Do not offer [empty] excuses! You have indeed denied the truth after [having professed] your belief [in it] - Though We may efface the sin of some of you, We shall chastise others - seeing that they were lost in sin.

اَلْمُنٰفِقُوْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْضٍۘ يَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمُنْكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَقْبِضُوْنَ اَيْدِيَهُمْۗ نَسُوا اللّٰهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ هُمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ٦٧

ID Translation Orang-orang munafik laki-laki dan perempuan. sebagian dengan sebagian yang lain adalah sama, mereka menyuruh membuat yang munkar dan melarang berbuat yang ma'ruf dan mereka menggenggamkan tangannya. Mereka telah lupa kepada Allah, maka Allah melupakan mereka. Sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu adalah orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation The hypocrites, both men and women. are all of a kind: they enjoin the doing of what is wrong and forbid the doing of what is right and withhold their hands [from doing good]. They are oblivious of God, and so He is oblivious of them. Verily, the hypocrites-it is they, they who are truly iniquitously

وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ ۚوَلَعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚوَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيْمٌۙ ٦٨

ID Translation Allah mengancam orang-orang munafik laki-laki dan perempuan dan orang-orang kafir dengan neraka Jahannam, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Cukuplah neraka itu bagi mereka, dan Allah melaknati mereka, dan bagi mereka azab yang kekal.

EN Translation God- has promised the hypocrites, both men and women-as well as the [outright] deniers of the _ truth-the fire of hell, therein to abide: this shall be their allotted_ portion. For, God has rejected them, and long-lasting suffering awaits them.

كَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ كَانُوْٓا اَشَدَّ مِنْكُمْ قُوَّةً وَّاَكْثَرَ اَمْوَالًا وَّاَوْلَادًاۗ فَاسْتَمْتَعُوْا بِخَلَاقِهِمْ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِخَلَاقِكُمْ كَمَا اسْتَمْتَعَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ بِخَلَاقِهِمْ وَخُضْتُمْ كَالَّذِيْ خَاضُوْاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ حَبِطَتْ اَعْمَالُهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚوَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ٦٩

ID Translation (keadaan kamu hai orang-orang munafik dan musyrikin) adalah seperti keadaan orang-orang sebelum kamu, mereka lebih kuat daripada kamu, dan lebih banyak harta dan anak-anaknya dari kamu. Maka mereka telah menikmati bagian mereka, dan kamu telah menikmati bagian kamu sebagaimana orang-orang yang sebelummu menikmati bagiannya, dan kamu mempercakapkan (hal yang batil) sebagaimana mereka mempercakapkannya. Mereka itu amalannya menjadi sia-sia di dunia dan di akhirat; dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang merugi.

EN Translation [Say unto them: "You are] like those [hypocrites] who lived before your time. Greater than you were they in power, and richer in wealth and in children; and they enjoyed their share [of happiness]. And you have been enjoying your share -just as those who preceded you enjoyed their share; and you have been indulging in scurrilous talk -just as they indulged in it. It is they whose works have come to nought in this world and in the life to come - and it is they, they who are the cost!"

اَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوْدَ ەۙ وَقَوْمِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَاَصْحٰبِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِۗ اَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِۚ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ ٧٠

ID Translation Belumkah datang kepada mereka berita penting tentang orang-orang yang sebelum mereka, (yaitu) kaum Nuh, 'Aad, Tsamud, kaum Ibrahim, penduduk Madyan dan negeri-negeri yang telah musnah?. Telah datang kepada mereka rasul-rasul dengan membawa keterangan yang nyata, maka Allah tidaklah sekali-kali menganiaya mereka, akan tetapi merekalah yang menganiaya diri mereka sendiri.

EN Translation Have, then, the stories of those who preceded them never come within the ken of these [hypocrites and deniers of the truth]?-[the stories] of Noah's people, and of [the tribes of] `Ad and Thamud, and of Abraham's people, and of the folk of Madyan, and of the cities that were overthrown? To [all of] them their apostles had come with all evidence of the truth. [but they rejected them:] and so it was not God who wronged them [by His punishment], but it was they who wronged themselves.

وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءُ بَعْضٍۘ يَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَيُطِيْعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۗاُولٰۤىِٕكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَزِيْزٌ حَكِيْمٌ ٧١

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang beriman, lelaki dan perempuan, sebahagian mereka (adalah) menjadi penolong bagi sebahagian yang lain. Mereka menyuruh (mengerjakan) yang ma'ruf, mencegah dari yang munkar, mendirikan shalat, menunaikan zakat dan mereka taat pada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Mereka itu akan diberi rahmat oleh Allah; sesungguhnya Allah Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation AND [as for] the believers, both men and women they are close unto one another: they [all] enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and are constant in prayer, and render the purifying dues, and pay heed unto God and His Apostle. It is they upon whom God will bestow His grace: verily, God is almighty, wise!

وَعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا وَمَسٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِيْ جَنّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ۗوَرِضْوَانٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ اَكْبَرُ ۗذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ٧٢

ID Translation Allah menjanjikan kepada orang-orang mukmin, lelaki dan perempuan, (akan mendapat) surga yang dibawahnya mengalir sungai-sungai, kekal mereka di dalamnya, dan (mendapat) tempat-tempat yang bagus di surga 'Adn. Dan keridhaan Allah adalah lebih besar; itu adalah keberuntungan yang besar.

EN Translation God has promised the believers, both men and women, gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual bliss: but God's goodly acceptance is the greatest [bliss of all] -for this, this is the triumph supreme!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗوَمَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ٧٣

ID Translation Hai Nabi, berjihadlah (melawan) orang-orang kafir dan orang-orang munafik itu, dan bersikap keraslah terhadap mereka. Tempat mereka ialah jahannam. Dan itu adalah tempat kembali yang seburuk-buruknya.

EN Translation O PROPHET! Strive hard against the deniers of the truth and the hypocrites, and be adamant with them. And [if they do not repent,] their goal shall be hell -and how vile a journey's end!

يَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ مَا قَالُوْا ۗوَلَقَدْ قَالُوْا كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوْا بَعْدَ اِسْلَامِهِمْ وَهَمُّوْا بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوْاۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوْٓا اِلَّآ اَنْ اَغْنٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ ۚفَاِنْ يَّتُوْبُوْا يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۚوَاِنْ يَّتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّٰهُ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ ۚوَمَا لَهُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ٧٤

ID Translation Mereka (orang-orang munafik itu) bersumpah dengan (nama) Allah, bahwa mereka tidak mengatakan (sesuatu yang menyakitimu). Sesungguhnya mereka telah mengucapkan perkataan kekafiran, dan telah menjadi kafir sesudah Islam dan mengingini apa yang mereka tidak dapat mencapainya, dan mereka tidak mencela (Allah dan Rasul-Nya), kecuali karena Allah dan Rasul-Nya telah melimpahkan karunia-Nya kepada mereka. Maka jika mereka bertaubat, itu adalah lebih baik bagi mereka, dan jika mereka berpaling, niscaya Allah akan mengazab mereka dengan azab yang pedih di dunia dan akhirat; dan mereka sekali-kali tidaklah mempunyai pelindung dan tidak (pula) penolong di muka bumi.

EN Translation [The hypocrites] swear by God that they have said nothing [wrong]; yet most certainly have they uttered a saying which amounts to a denial of the truth, and have [thus] denied the truth after [having professed] their self-surrender to God: for they were aiming at something which was beyond their reach. And they could find no fault [with the Faith] save that God had enriched them and [caused] His Apostle [to enrich them] out of His bounty! Hence, if they repent, it will be for their own good. But if they turn away, God will cause them to suffer grievous suffering in this world and in the life to come, and they will find no helper on earth, and none to give [them] succour.

۞ وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ عٰهَدَ اللّٰهَ لَىِٕنْ اٰتٰىنَا مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ لَنَصَّدَّقَنَّ وَلَنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ٧٥

ID Translation Dan diantara mereka ada orang yang telah berikrar kepada Allah: "Sesungguhnya jika Allah memberikan sebahagian karunia-Nya kepada kami, pastilah kami akan bersedekah dan pastilah kami termasuk orang-orang yang saleh.

EN Translation And among them are such as vow unto God, "If indeed He grant us [something] out of His bounty, we shall most certainly spend in charity, and shall most certainly be among the righteous!"

فَلَمَّآ اٰتٰىهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ بَخِلُوْا بِهٖ وَتَوَلَّوْا وَّهُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ٧٦

ID Translation Maka setelah Allah memberikan kepada mereka sebahagian dari karunia-Nya, mereka kikir dengan karunia itu, dan berpaling, dan mereka memanglah orang-orang yang selalu membelakangi (kebenaran).

EN Translation But as soon as He has given them [aught] out of His bounty. they cling to it niggardly, and turn away in their obstinacy [from all that they have vowed]:

فَاَعْقَبَهُمْ نِفَاقًا فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ اِلٰى يَوْمِ يَلْقَوْنَهٗ بِمَآ اَخْلَفُوا اللّٰهَ مَا وَعَدُوْهُ وَبِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ ٧٧

ID Translation Maka Allah menimbulkan kemunafikan pada hati mereka sampai kepada waktu mereka menemui Allah, karena mereka telah memungkiri terhadap Allah apa yang telah mereka ikrarkan kepada-Nya dan juga karena mereka selalu berdusta.

EN Translation whereupon He causes hypocrisy to take root in their hearts, [therein to remain] until the Day on which they shall meet Him" - because they have failed to fulfil the vow which they had made unto God, and because they were wont to lie.

اَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوٰىهُمْ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ ٧٨

ID Translation Tidaklah mereka tahu bahwasanya Allah mengetahui rahasia dan bisikan mereka, dan bahwasanya Allah amat mengetahui segala yang ghaib.

EN Translation Do they not know that God knows [all] their hidden thoughts and their secret confabulations, and that God knows fully all the things that are beyond the reach of human perception'?

اَلَّذِيْنَ يَلْمِزُوْنَ الْمُطَّوِّعِيْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ فِى الصَّدَقٰتِ وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا يَجِدُوْنَ اِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُوْنَ مِنْهُمْ ۗسَخِرَ اللّٰهُ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٧٩

ID Translation (Orang-orang munafik itu) yaitu orang-orang yang mencela orang-orang mukmin yang memberi sedekah dengan sukarela dan (mencela) orang-orang yang tidak memperoleh (untuk disedekahkan) selain sekedar kesanggupannya, maka orang-orang munafik itu menghina mereka. Allah akan membalas penghinaan mereka itu, dan untuk mereka azab yang pedih.

EN Translation [It is these hypocrites] who find fault with such of the believers as give for the sake of God more than they are duty-bound to give, as well as with, such as find nothing [to give] beyond [the meagre fruits of] their toil, and who scoff at them [all]. God will cause their scoffing to rebound on themselves. and grievous suffering awaits them.

اِسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ اَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْۗ اِنْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِيْنَ مَرَّةً فَلَنْ يَّغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ ۗذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٨٠

ID Translation Kamu memohonkan ampun bagi mereka atau tidak kamu mohonkan ampun bagi mereka (adalah sama saja). Kendatipun kamu memohonkan ampun bagi mereka tujuh puluh kali, namun Allah sekali-kali tidak akan memberi ampunan kepada mereka. Yang demikian itu adalah karena mereka kafir kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik.

EN Translation [And] whether thou dost pray [unto God] that they be forgiven or dost not pray for them - [it will all be the same: for even] if thou wert to pray seventy times that they be forgiven, God will not forgive them, seeing that they are bent on denying God and His Apostle. And God does not bestow His guidance upon such iniquitous folk.

فَرِحَ الْمُخَلَّفُوْنَ بِمَقْعَدِهِمْ خِلٰفَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ وَكَرِهُوْٓا اَنْ يُّجَاهِدُوْا بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَقَالُوْا لَا تَنْفِرُوْا فِى الْحَرِّۗ قُلْ نَارُ جَهَنَّمَ اَشَدُّ حَرًّاۗ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ٨١

ID Translation Orang-orang yang ditinggalkan (tidak ikut perang) itu, merasa gembira dengan tinggalnya mereka di belakang Rasulullah, dan mereka tidak suka berjihad dengan harta dan jiwa mereka pada jalan Allah dan mereka berkata: "Janganlah kamu berangkat (pergi berperang) dalam panas terik ini". Katakanlah: "Api neraka jahannam itu lebih sangat panas(nya)" jika mereka mengetahui.

EN Translation THOSE [hypocrites] who were left behind rejoiced in their staying away [from war] after [the departure of] God's Apostle, for they hated the thought of striving with their possessions and their lives in God's cause; and they had [even] said [to the others], "Do not go forth to war in this heat!" Say: "The fire of hell is hotter by far!" Had they but grasped this truth!

فَلْيَضْحَكُوْا قَلِيْلًا وَّلْيَبْكُوْا كَثِيْرًاۚ جَزَاۤءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ٨٢

ID Translation Maka hendaklah mereka tertawa sedikit dan menangis banyak, sebagai pembalasan dari apa yang selalu mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation Let them, then, laugh a little - for they will weep a lot in return for what they have earned.

فَاِنْ رَّجَعَكَ اللّٰهُ اِلٰى طَاۤىِٕفَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوْكَ لِلْخُرُوْجِ فَقُلْ لَّنْ تَخْرُجُوْا مَعِيَ اَبَدًا وَّلَنْ تُقَاتِلُوْا مَعِيَ عَدُوًّاۗ اِنَّكُمْ رَضِيْتُمْ بِالْقُعُوْدِ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۗ فَاقْعُدُوْا مَعَ الْخَالِفِيْنَ ٨٣

ID Translation Maka jika Allah mengembalikanmu kepada suatu golongan dari mereka, kemudian mereka minta izin kepadamu untuk keluar (pergi berperang), maka Katakanlah: "Kamu tidak boleh keluar bersamaku selama-lamanya dan tidak boleh memerangi musuh bersamaku. Sesungguhnya kamu telah rela tidak pergi berperang kali yang pertama. Karena itu duduklah bersama orang-orang yang tidak ikut berperang".

EN Translation Hence, [O Prophet,] if God brings thee again face to face with some of them," and then they ask thy leave to go forth [to war with thee], say: "Never shall you go forth with me. nor shall you fight an enemy together with me! Behold, you were well-pleased to stay at home on that first occasion: stay at home, then, with, those who [are obliged to] remain behind!"

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ مَّاتَ اَبَدًا وَّلَا تَقُمْ عَلٰى قَبْرِهٖۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَمَاتُوْا وَهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ٨٤

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu sekali-kali menyembahyangkan (jenazah) seorang yang mati di antara mereka, dan janganlah kamu berdiri (mendoakan) di kuburnya. Sesungguhnya mereka telah kafir kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan mereka mati dalam keadaan fasik.

EN Translation And never shalt thou pray over any of them that has died, and never shalt thou stand by his grave: for, behold, they were bent on denying God and His Apostle, and they died in this their iniquity.

وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَاَوْلَادُهُمْۗ اِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُّعَذِّبَهُمْ بِهَا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ اَنْفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كٰفِرُوْنَ ٨٥

ID Translation Dan janganlah harta benda dan anak-anak mereka menarik hatimu. Sesungguhnya Allah menghendaki akan mengazab mereka di dunia dengan harta dan anak-anak itu dan agar melayang nyawa mereka, dalam keadaan kafir.

EN Translation And let not their worldly goods and [the happiness which they may derive from] their children excite thy admiration: God but wants to chastise them by these means in [the life of] this world, and [to cause] their souls to depart while they are [still] denying the truth.

وَاِذَآ اُنْزِلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ اَنْ اٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَجَاهِدُوْا مَعَ رَسُوْلِهِ اسْتَأْذَنَكَ اُولُوا الطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُوْا ذَرْنَا نَكُنْ مَّعَ الْقٰعِدِيْنَ ٨٦

ID Translation Dan apabila diturunkan suatu surat (yang memerintahkan kepada orang munafik itu): "Berimanlah kamu kepada Allah dan berjihadlah beserta Rasul-Nya", niscaya orang-orang yang sanggup di antara mereka meminta izin kepadamu (untuk tidak berjihad) dan mereka berkata: "Biarkanlah kami berada bersama orang-orang yang duduk".

EN Translation [They are indeed denying it:] for, when they were called upon through revelation, "Believe in God, and strive hard [in His cause] together with His Apostle," [even] such of them as were well able [to go to war] asked thee for exemption, saying, "Allow us to stay behind with those who remain at home!"

رَضُوْا بِاَنْ يَّكُوْنُوْا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ٨٧

ID Translation Mereka rela berada bersama orang-orang yang tidak berperang, dan hati mereka telah dikunci mati maka mereka tidak mengetahui (kebahagiaan beriman dan berjihad).

EN Translation They were well-pleased to remain with those who were left behind - where for their hearts have been sealed, so that they cannot grasp the truth.

لٰكِنِ الرَّسُوْلُ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَهٗ جَاهَدُوْا بِاَمْوَالِهِمْ وَاَنْفُسِهِمْۗ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمُ الْخَيْرٰتُ ۖوَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ٨٨

ID Translation Tetapi Rasul dan orang-orang yang beriman bersama dia, mereka berjihad dengan harta dan diri mereka. Dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang memperoleh kebaikan, dan mereka itulah orang-orang yang beruntung.

EN Translation The Apostle, however, and all who share his faith strive hard [in God's cause] with, their possessions and their lives: and it is they whom the most excellent things await [in the life to come], and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state!

اَعَدَّ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ٨٩

ID Translation Allah telah menyediakan bagi mereka surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Itulah kemenangan yang besar.

EN Translation God has readied for them gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and this is the triumph supreme!

وَجَاۤءَ الْمُعَذِّرُوْنَ مِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَبُوا اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۗسَيُصِيْبُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٩٠

ID Translation Dan datang (kepada Nabi) orang-orang yang mengemukakan 'uzur, yaitu orang-orang Arab Baswi agar diberi izin bagi mereka (untuk tidak berjihad), sedang orang-orang yang mendustakan Allah dan Rasul-Nya, duduk berdiam diri saja. Kelak orang-orang yang kafir di antara mereka itu akan ditimpa azab yang pedih.

EN Translation AND THERE came [unto the Apostle] such of the bedouin as had some excuse to offer, [with the request] that they be granted exemption, whereas those who were bent on giving the lie to God and His Apostle [simply] remained at home. [And] grievous suffering is bound to befall such of them as are bent on denying the truth!

لَيْسَ عَلَى الضُّعَفَاۤءِ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَرْضٰى وَلَا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَجِدُوْنَ مَا يُنْفِقُوْنَ حَرَجٌ اِذَا نَصَحُوْا لِلّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖۗ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ مِنْ سَبِيْلٍ ۗوَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌۙ ٩١

ID Translation Tiada dosa (lantaran tidak pergi berjihad) atas orang-orang yang lemah, orang-orang yang sakit dan atas orang-orang yang tidak memperoleh apa yang akan mereka nafkahkan, apabila mereka berlaku ikhlas kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Tidak ada jalan sedikitpun untuk menyalahkan orang-orang yang berbuat baik. Dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang,

EN Translation [But] no blame shall attach to the weak, nor to the sick, nor to those who have no means. [to equip themselves], provided that they are sincere towards God and His Apostle: there is no cause to reproach the doers of good, for God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

وَّلَا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ اِذَا مَآ اَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَآ اَجِدُ مَآ اَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ ۖتَوَلَّوْا وَّاَعْيُنُهُمْ تَفِيْضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَنًا اَلَّا يَجِدُوْا مَا يُنْفِقُوْنَۗ ٩٢

ID Translation dan tiada (pula) berdosa atas orang-orang yang apabila mereka datang kepadamu, supaya kamu memberi mereka kendaraan, lalu kamu berkata: "Aku tidak memperoleh kendaraan untuk membawamu". lalu mereka kembali, sedang mata mereka bercucuran air mata karena kesedihan, lantaran mereka tidak memperoleh apa yang akan mereka nafkahkan.

EN Translation Nor [shall blame attach] to those who, when they came unto thee [O Prophet, with the request] that thou provide them with mounts, were told by thee, "I cannot find anything whereon to mount you" - [whereupon] they turned away, their eyes overflowing with tears out of sorrow that they had no means to spend [on their equipment].

اِنَّمَا السَّبِيْلُ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ يَسْتَأْذِنُوْنَكَ وَهُمْ اَغْنِيَاۤءُۚ رَضُوْا بِاَنْ يَّكُوْنُوْا مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِۙ وَطَبَعَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ۔ ٩٣

ID Translation Sesungguhnya jalan (untuk menyalahkan) hanyalah terhadap orang-orang yang meminta izin kepadamu, padahal mereka itu orang-orang kaya. Mereka rela berada bersama orang-orang yang tidak ikut berperang dan Allah telah mengunci mati hati mereka, maka mereka tidak mengetahui (akibat perbuatan mereka).

EN Translation Only they may rightly be reproached who asked thee for exemption even though they were fully able [to go to war]. They were well-pleased to remain with those who were left behind -wherefore God has sealed their hearts, so that they do not know [what they are doing].

يَعْتَذِرُوْنَ اِلَيْكُمْ اِذَا رَجَعْتُمْ اِلَيْهِمْ ۗ قُلْ لَّا تَعْتَذِرُوْا لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَكُمْ قَدْ نَبَّاَنَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ اَخْبَارِكُمْ وَسَيَرَى اللّٰهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّوْنَ اِلٰى عٰلِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٤

ID Translation Mereka (orang-orang munafik) mengemukakan 'uzurnya kepadamu, apabila kamu telah kembali kepada mereka (dari medan perang). Katakanlah: "Janganlah kamu mengemukakan 'uzur; kami tidak percaya lagi kepadamu, (karena) sesungguhnya Allah telah memberitahukan kepada kami beritamu yang sebenarnya. Dan Allah serta Rasul-Nya akan melihat pekerjaanmu, kemudian kamu dikembalikan kepada Yang mengetahui yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu Dia memberitahukan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation [And] they will [still] be offering excuses to you when you return to them, [from the campaign]! Say: "Do not offer [empty] excuses, [for] we shall not believe you: God has already enlightened us about you. And God will behold your [future] deeds, and [so will] His Apostle; and in the end you will be brought before Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind, and then He will make you truly understand what you were doing [in life]."

سَيَحْلِفُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ لَكُمْ اِذَا انْقَلَبْتُمْ اِلَيْهِمْ لِتُعْرِضُوْا عَنْهُمْ ۗ فَاَعْرِضُوْا عَنْهُمْ ۗ اِنَّهُمْ رِجْسٌۙ وَّمَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ جَزَاۤءً ۢبِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ٩٥

ID Translation Kelak mereka akan bersumpah kepadamu dengan nama Allah, apabila kamu kembali kepada mereka, supaya kamu berpaling dari mereka. Maka berpalinglah dari mereka; karena sesungguhnya mereka itu adalah najis dan tempat mereka jahannam; sebagai balasan atas apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation When you will have returned to them, (O believers,] they will swear to you by God, [repeating their excuses,] with a view to your letting them be. Let them be, then: behold, they are loathsome, and hell is their goal in recompense for what they were wont to do.

يَحْلِفُوْنَ لَكُمْ لِتَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ ۚفَاِنْ تَرْضَوْا عَنْهُمْ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَرْضٰى عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٩٦

ID Translation Mereka akan bersumpah kepadamu, agar kamu ridha kepada mereka. Tetapi jika sekiranya kamu ridha kepada mereka, sesungguhnya Allah tidak ridha kepada orang-orang yang fasik itu.

EN Translation They will swear to you with a view to making you pleased with them: but [even] should you be pleased with them, verily, God shall never be pleased with iniquitous folk.

اَلْاَعْرَابُ اَشَدُّ كُفْرًا وَّنِفَاقًا وَّاَجْدَرُ اَلَّا يَعْلَمُوْا حُدُوْدَ مَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ٩٧

ID Translation Orang-orang Arab Badwi itu, lebih sangat kekafiran dan kemunafikannya, dan lebih wajar tidak mengetahui hukum-hukum yang diturunkan Allah kepada Rasul-Nya. Dan Allah Maha mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation [The hypocrites among] the bedouin are more tenacious in [their] refusal to acknowledge the truth and in [their] hypocrisy [than are settled people], and more liable to ignore the ordinances which God has bestowed from on high upon His Apostle - but God is all-knowing, wise.

وَمِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ مَنْ يَّتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَّيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَاۤىِٕرَ ۗعَلَيْهِمْ دَاۤىِٕرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ٩٨

ID Translation Di antara orang-orang Arab Badwi itu ada orang yang memandang apa yang dinafkahkannya (di jalan Allah), sebagi suatu kerugian, dan dia menanti-nanti marabahaya menimpamu, merekalah yang akan ditimpa marabahaya. Dan Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.

EN Translation And among the bedouin there are such as regard all that they might spend [in God's cause] as a loss, and wait for misfortune to encompass you, [O believers: but] it is they whom evil fortune shall encompass - for God is all-hearing, all-knowing.

وَمِنَ الْاَعْرَابِ مَنْ يُّؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ قُرُبٰتٍ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَصَلَوٰتِ الرَّسُوْلِ ۗ اَلَآ اِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَّهُمْ ۗ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللّٰهُ فِيْ رَحْمَتِهٖ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٩٩

ID Translation Di antara orang-orang Arab Badwi itu ada orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari kemudian, dan memandang apa yang dinafkahkannya (di jalan Allah) itu, sebagai jalan untuk mendekatkannya kepada Allah dan sebagai jalan untuk memperoleh doa Rasul. Ketahuilah, sesungguhnya nafkah itu adalah suatu jalan bagi mereka untuk mendekatkan diri (kepada Allah). Kelak Allah akan memasukan mereka kedalam rahmat (surga)Nya; Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation However, among the bedouin there are [also] such as believe in God and the Last Day, and regard all that they spend (in God's cause] as a means of drawing them nearer to God and of [their being remembered in] the. Apostle's prayers. Oh, verily, it shall [indeed] be a means of [God's] nearness to them, [for] God will admit them unto His grace: verily, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!

وَالسّٰبِقُوْنَ الْاَوَّلُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُهٰجِرِيْنَ وَالْاَنْصَارِ وَالَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُمْ بِاِحْسَانٍۙ رَّضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُ وَاَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ تَحْتَهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًا ۗذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ١٠٠

ID Translation Orang-orang yang terdahulu lagi yang pertama-tama (masuk Islam) dari golongan muhajirin dan anshar dan orang-orang yang mengikuti mereka dengan baik, Allah ridha kepada mereka dan merekapun ridha kepada Allah dan Allah menyediakan bagi mereka surga-surga yang mengalir sungai-sungai di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Mereka kekal di dalamnya. Itulah kemenangan yang besar.

EN Translation And as for the first and foremost of those who have forsaken the domain of evil and of those who have sheltered and succoured the Faith, as well as those who follow them in [the way of] righteousness - God is well-pleased with them, and well--pleased are they with Him. And for them has He readied gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time: this is the triumph supreme!

وَمِمَّنْ حَوْلَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَعْرَابِ مُنٰفِقُوْنَ ۗوَمِنْ اَهْلِ الْمَدِيْنَةِ مَرَدُوْا عَلَى النِّفَاقِۗ لَا تَعْلَمُهُمْۗ نَحْنُ نَعْلَمُهُمْۗ سَنُعَذِّبُهُمْ مَّرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّوْنَ اِلٰى عَذَابٍ عَظِيْمٍ ۚ ١٠١

ID Translation Di antara orang-orang Arab Badwi yang di sekelilingmu itu, ada orang-orang munafik; dan (juga) di antara penduduk Madinah. Mereka keterlaluan dalam kemunafikannya. Kamu (Muhammad) tidak mengetahui mereka, (tetapi) Kamilah yang mengetahui mereka. Nanti mereka akan Kami siksa dua kali kemudian mereka akan dikembalikan kepada azab yang besar.

EN Translation But among the bedouin who dwell around you there are hypocrites; and among the people of the [Prophet's] City [too] there are such as have grown insolent in [their] hypocrisy. Thou dost not [always] know them, [O Muhammad - but] We know them. We shall cause them to suffer doubly [in this world]; and then they will be given over to awesome suffering [in the life to come].

وَاٰخَرُوْنَ اعْتَرَفُوْا بِذُنُوْبِهِمْ خَلَطُوْا عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَّاٰخَرَ سَيِّئًاۗ عَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنْ يَّتُوْبَ عَلَيْهِمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٠٢

ID Translation Dan (ada pula) orang-orang lain yang mengakui dosa-dosa mereka, mereka mencampurbaurkan pekerjaan yang baik dengan pekerjaan lain yang buruk. Mudah-mudahan Allah menerima taubat mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi maha Penyayang.

EN Translation And [there are] others - [people who] have become conscious of their sinning after having done righteous deeds side by side with evil ones; [and] it may well be that God will accept their repentance: for, verily, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser' of grace.

خُذْ مِنْ اَمْوَالِهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُطَهِّرُهُمْ وَتُزَكِّيْهِمْ بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْۗ اِنَّ صَلٰوتَكَ سَكَنٌ لَّهُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ١٠٣

ID Translation Ambillah zakat dari sebagian harta mereka, dengan zakat itu kamu membersihkan dan mensucikan mereka dan mendoalah untuk mereka. Sesungguhnya doa kamu itu (menjadi) ketenteraman jiwa bagi mereka. Dan Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.

EN Translation [Hence, O Prophet,] accept that [part] of their possessions which is offered for the sake of God, so that thou mayest cleanse them thereby and cause them to grow in purity, and pray for them: behold, thy prayer will be [a source of] comfort to them-for God is all-hearing, all-knowing.

اَلَمْ يَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهٖ وَيَأْخُذُ الصَّدَقٰتِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٠٤

ID Translation Tidaklah mereka mengetahui, bahwasanya Allah menerima taubat dari hamba-hamba-Nya dan menerima zakat dan bahwasanya Allah Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang?

EN Translation Do they not know that it is God alone who can accept the repentance of His servants and is the [true] recipient of whatever is offered for His sake - and that God alone is an acceptor of repentance, a dispenser of grace?

وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوْا فَسَيَرَى اللّٰهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَۗ وَسَتُرَدُّوْنَ اِلٰى عٰلِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَۚ ١٠٥

ID Translation Dan Katakanlah: "Bekerjalah kamu, maka Allah dan Rasul-Nya serta orang-orang mukmin akan melihat pekerjaanmu itu, dan kamu akan dikembalikan kepada (Allah) Yang Mengetahui akan yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu diberitakan-Nya kepada kamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation And say [unto them, O Prophet]: "Act! And God will behold your deeds, and [so will] His Apostle, and the believers: and [in the end] you will be brought before Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind -and then He will make you understand what you have been doing."

وَاٰخَرُوْنَ مُرْجَوْنَ لِاَمْرِ اللّٰهِ اِمَّا يُعَذِّبُهُمْ وَاِمَّا يَتُوْبُ عَلَيْهِمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ١٠٦

ID Translation Dan ada (pula) orang-orang lain yang ditangguhkan sampai ada keputusan Allah; adakalanya Allah akan mengazab mereka dan adakalanya Allah akan menerima taubat mereka. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation And [there are yet] others-[people whose cases are] deferred until God wills to judge them: He will either chastise them or turn again unto them in His mercy-for God is all-knowing, wise.

وَالَّذِيْنَ اتَّخَذُوْا مَسْجِدًا ضِرَارًا وَّكُفْرًا وَّتَفْرِيْقًاۢ بَيْنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَاِرْصَادًا لِّمَنْ حَارَبَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗوَلَيَحْلِفُنَّ اِنْ اَرَدْنَآ اِلَّا الْحُسْنٰىۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَشْهَدُ اِنَّهُمْ لَكٰذِبُوْنَ ١٠٧

ID Translation Dan (di antara orang-orang munafik itu) ada orang-orang yang mendirikan masjid untuk menimbulkan kemudharatan (pada orang-orang mukmin), untuk kekafiran dan untuk memecah belah antara orang-orang mukmin serta menunggu kedatangan orang-orang yang telah memerangi Allah dan Rasul-Nya sejak dahulu. Mereka Sesungguhnya bersumpah: "Kami tidak menghendaki selain kebaikan". Dan Allah menjadi saksi bahwa sesungguhnya mereka itu adalah pendusta (dalam sumpahnya).

EN Translation AND [there are hypocrites] who have established a [separate] house of worship in order to create mischief, and to promote apostasy and disunity among the believers, and to provide an outpost for all who from the outset have been warring against God and His Apostle. And they will surely swear [to you, O believers], "We had but the best of intentions!" -the while God [Himself] bears witness that they are lying.

لَا تَقُمْ فِيْهِ اَبَدًاۗ لَمَسْجِدٌ اُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقْوٰى مِنْ اَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ اَحَقُّ اَنْ تَقُوْمَ فِيْهِۗ فِيْهِ رِجَالٌ يُّحِبُّوْنَ اَنْ يَّتَطَهَّرُوْاۗ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَّهِّرِيْنَ ١٠٨

ID Translation Janganlah kamu bersembahyang dalam mesjid itu selama-lamanya. Sesungguhnya mesjid yang didirikan atas dasar takwa (mesjid Quba), sejak hari pertama adalah lebih patut kamu sholat di dalamnya. Di dalamnya mesjid itu ada orang-orang yang ingin membersihkan diri. Dan sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang bersih.

EN Translation Never set foot in such a place! Only a house of worship founded, from the very first day, upon God-consciousness is worthy of thy setting foot therein -[a house of worship] wherein there are men desirous of growing in purity: for God loves all who purify themselves.

اَفَمَنْ اَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهٗ عَلٰى تَقْوٰى مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضْوَانٍ خَيْرٌ اَمْ مَّنْ اَسَّسَ بُنْيَانَهٗ عَلٰى شَفَا جُرُفٍ هَارٍ فَانْهَارَ بِهٖ فِيْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ١٠٩

ID Translation Maka apakah orang-orang yang mendirikan mesjidnya di atas dasar takwa kepada Allah dan keridhaan-(Nya) itu yang baik, ataukah orang-orang yang mendirikan bangunannya di tepi jurang yang runtuh, lalu bangunannya itu jatuh bersama-sama dengan dia ke dalam neraka Jahannam. Dan Allah tidak memberikan petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation Which. then, is the better: he who has founded his building on God-consciousness and [a desire for] His goodly acceptance-or he who has founded his building on the edge of a water-worn, crumbling river-bank, so that it [is bound to] tumble down with him into the fire of hell? For, God does not grace with His guidance people who [deliberately] do wrong:

لَا يَزَالُ بُنْيَانُهُمُ الَّذِيْ بَنَوْا رِيْبَةً فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ اِلَّآ اَنْ تَقَطَّعَ قُلُوْبُهُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ١١٠

ID Translation Bangunan-bangunan yang mereka dirikan itu senantiasa menjadi pangkal keraguan dalam hati mereka, kecuali bila hati mereka itu telah hancur. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation the building which they have built will never cease to be a source of deep disquiet in their hearts until their hearts crumble to pieces. And God is all-knowing, wise.

۞ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اشْتَرٰى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَاَمْوَالَهُمْ بِاَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَۗ يُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ فَيَقْتُلُوْنَ وَيُقْتَلُوْنَ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِى التَّوْرٰىةِ وَالْاِنْجِيْلِ وَالْقُرْاٰنِۗ وَمَنْ اَوْفٰى بِعَهْدِهٖ مِنَ اللّٰهِ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوْا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِيْ بَايَعْتُمْ بِهٖۗ وَذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ١١١

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah membeli dari orang-orang mukmin diri dan harta mereka dengan memberikan surga untuk mereka. Mereka berperang pada jalan Allah; lalu mereka membunuh atau terbunuh. (Itu telah menjadi) janji yang benar dari Allah di dalam Taurat, Injil dan Al Quran. Dan siapakah yang lebih menepati janjinya (selain) daripada Allah? Maka bergembiralah dengan jual beli yang telah kamu lakukan itu, dan itulah kemenangan yang besar.

EN Translation BEHOLD, God has bought of the believers their lives and their possessions, promising them paradise in return, [and so] they fight in God's cause, and slay, and are slain: a promise which in truth He has willed upon Himself in [the words of] the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Qur'an. And who could be more faithful to his covenant than God? Rejoice, then, in the bargain which you have made with Him: for this, this is the triumph supreme!

اَلتَّاۤىِٕبُوْنَ الْعٰبِدُوْنَ الْحَامِدُوْنَ السَّاۤىِٕحُوْنَ الرَّاكِعُوْنَ السَّاجِدُوْنَ الْاٰمِرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَالنَّاهُوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَالْحٰفِظُوْنَ لِحُدُوْدِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١١٢

ID Translation Mereka itu adalah orang-orang yang bertaubat, yang beribadat, yang memuji, yang melawat, yang ruku', yang sujud, yang menyuruh berbuat ma'ruf dan mencegah berbuat munkar dan yang memelihara hukum-hukum Allah. Dan gembirakanlah orang-orang mukmin itu.

EN Translation [It is a triumph of] those who turn [unto God] in repentance [whenever they have sinned], and who worship and praise [Him], and go on and on [seeking His goodly acceptance], and bow down [before Him] and prostrate themselves in adoration, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and keep to the bounds set by God. And give thou [O Prophet] the glad tiding [of God's promise] to all believers.

مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنْ يَّسْتَغْفِرُوْا لِلْمُشْرِكِيْنَ وَلَوْ كَانُوْٓا اُولِيْ قُرْبٰى مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ اَنَّهُمْ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِيْمِ ١١٣

ID Translation Tiadalah sepatutnya bagi Nabi dan orang-orang yang beriman memintakan ampun (kepada Allah) bagi orang-orang musyrik, walaupun orang-orang musyrik itu adalah kaum kerabat(nya), sesudah jelas bagi mereka, bahwasanya orang-orang musyrik itu adalah penghuni neraka jahanam.

EN Translation IT DOES NOT behove the Prophet and those who have attained to faith to pray that they who ascribed divinity to aught beside God be forgiven [by Him] even though they happened to be [their] near of kin -after it has been made clear unto them that those [dead sinners] are destined for. the blazing fire.

وَمَا كَانَ اسْتِغْفَارُ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ لِاَبِيْهِ اِلَّا عَنْ مَّوْعِدَةٍ وَّعَدَهَآ اِيَّاهُۚ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهٗٓ اَنَّهٗ عَدُوٌّ لِّلّٰهِ تَبَرَّاَ مِنْهُۗ اِنَّ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ لَاَوَّاهٌ حَلِيْمٌ ١١٤

ID Translation Dan permintaan ampun dari Ibrahim (kepada Allah) untuk bapaknya tidak lain hanyalah karena suatu janji yang telah diikrarkannya kepada bapaknya itu. Maka, tatkala jelas bagi Ibrahim bahwa bapaknya itu adalah musuh Allah, maka Ibrahim berlepas diri dari padanya. Sesungguhnya Ibrahim adalah seorang yang sangat lembut hatinya lagi penyantun.

EN Translation And Abraham's prayer that his father be forgiven was but due to a promise which he had given the latter [in his lifetime]; but when it was made clear unto him that he had been God's enemy, [Abraham] disavowed him - [although;] behold, Abraham was most tender-hearted. most clement.

وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْمًاۢ بَعْدَ اِذْ هَدٰىهُمْ حَتّٰى يُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ مَّا يَتَّقُوْنَۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ١١٥

ID Translation Dan Allah sekali-kali tidak akan menyesatkan suatu kaum, sesudah Allah memberi petunjuk kepada mereka sehingga dijelaskan-Nya kepada mereka apa yang harus mereka jauhi. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu.

EN Translation And God would never-after having invited them to His guidance -condemn people for going astray ere He has made [entirely] clear unto them of what they should beware. Verily, God has full knowledge of everything.

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُۗ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ١١٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya kepunyaan Allah-lah kerajaan langit dan bumi. Dia menghidupkan dan mematikan. Dan sekali-kali tidak ada pelindung dan penolong bagimu selain Allah.

EN Translation Verily, God's alone is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; He [alone] grants life and deals death; and there is none besides God who could protect you or bring you succour.

لَقَدْ تَّابَ اللّٰهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ وَالْمُهٰجِرِيْنَ وَالْاَنْصَارِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُ فِيْ سَاعَةِ الْعُسْرَةِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا كَادَ يَزِيْغُ قُلُوْبُ فَرِيْقٍ مِّنْهُمْ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْۗ اِنَّهٗ بِهِمْ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ۙ ١١٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah menerima taubat Nabi, orang-orang muhajirin dan orang-orang anshar yang mengikuti Nabi dalam masa kesulitan, setelah hati segolongan dari mereka hampir berpaling, kemudian Allah menerima taubat mereka itu. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang kepada mereka,

EN Translation INDEED, God has turned in His mercy unto the Prophet, as well as unto those who have forsaken the domain of evil and those who have sheltered and succoured the Faiths - [all] those who followed him in the hour of distress, when the hearts of some of the other believers had well-nigh swerved from faith. And once again: He has turned unto them in His mercy - for, behold, He is compassionate towards them, a dispenser of grace.

وَّعَلَى الثَّلٰثَةِ الَّذِيْنَ خُلِّفُوْاۗ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْاَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ اَنْفُسُهُمْ وَظَنُّوْٓا اَنْ لَّا مَلْجَاَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ اِلَّآ اِلَيْهِۗ ثُمَّ تَابَ عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَتُوْبُوْاۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١١٨

ID Translation dan terhadap tiga orang yang ditangguhkan (penerimaan taubat) mereka, hingga apabila bumi telah menjadi sempit bagi mereka, padahal bumi itu luas dan jiwa merekapun telah sempit (pula terasa) oleh mereka, serta mereka telah mengetahui bahwa tidak ada tempat lari dari (siksa) Allah, melainkan kepada-Nya saja. Kemudian Allah menerima taubat mereka agar mereka tetap dalam taubatnya. Sesungguhnya Allah-lah Yang maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation And [He turned in His mercy, too,] towards the three [groups of believers] who had fallen prey to corruption, until in the end-after the earth, despite all its vastness, had become [too] narrow for them and their souls had become [utterly] constricted they came to know with certainty that there is no refuge from God other than [a return] unto Him; and thereupon He turned again unto them in His mercy, so that they might repent: for, verily, God alone is an acceptor of repentance, a dispenser of grace.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَكُوْنُوْا مَعَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ١١٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman bertakwalah kepada Allah, dan hendaklah kamu bersama orang-orang yang benar.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain conscious of God, and be among those who are true to their word!

مَا كَانَ لِاَهْلِ الْمَدِيْنَةِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْاَعْرَابِ اَنْ يَّتَخَلَّفُوْا عَنْ رَّسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَرْغَبُوْا بِاَنْفُسِهِمْ عَنْ نَّفْسِهٖۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ لَا يُصِيْبُهُمْ ظَمَاٌ وَّلَا نَصَبٌ وَّلَا مَخْمَصَةٌ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا يَطَـُٔوْنَ مَوْطِئًا يَّغِيْظُ الْكُفَّارَ وَلَا يَنَالُوْنَ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ نَّيْلًا اِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ بِهٖ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُضِيْعُ اَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١٢٠

ID Translation Tidaklah sepatutnya bagi penduduk Madinah dan orang-orang Arab Badwi yang berdiam di sekitar mereka, tidak turut menyertai Rasulullah (berperang) dan tidak patut (pula) bagi mereka lebih mencintai diri mereka daripada mencintai diri Rasul. Yang demikian itu ialah karena mereka tidak ditimpa kehausan, kepayahan dan kelaparan pada jalan Allah, dan tidak (pula) menginjak suatu tempat yang membangkitkan amarah orang-orang kafir, dan tidak menimpakan sesuatu bencana kepada musuh, melainkan dituliskanlah bagi mereka dengan yang demikian itu suatu amal saleh. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak menyia-nyiakan pahala orang-orang yang berbuat baik,

EN Translation It does not behove the people of the [Prophet's] City and the bedouin [who live] around them to hold back from following God's Apostle, or to care for their own selves more than for him -for, whenever they suffer from thirst or weariness or hunger in God's cause, and whenever they take any step which confounds those who deny the truth, and whenever there comes to them from the enemy whatever may be destined for them -[whenever anything thereof comes to pass,,] a good deed is recorded in their favour. Verily, God does not fail to requite the doers of good!

وَلَا يُنْفِقُوْنَ نَفَقَةً صَغِيْرَةً وَّلَا كَبِيْرَةً وَّلَا يَقْطَعُوْنَ وَادِيًا اِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُمْ لِيَجْزِيَهُمُ اللّٰهُ اَحْسَنَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٢١

ID Translation dan mereka tiada menafkahkan suatu nafkah yang kecil dan tidak (pula) yang besar dan tidak melintasi suatu lembah, melainkan dituliskan bagi mereka (amal saleh pula) karena Allah akan memberi balasan kepada mereka yang lebih baik dari apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation And whenever they spend anything [for the sake of God], be it little or much, and whenever they move on earth [in God's cause] -it is recorded in their favour, and God will grant them the best reward for all that they have been doing.

۞ وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ لِيَنْفِرُوْا كَاۤفَّةًۗ فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَاۤىِٕفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُوْا فِى الدِّيْنِ وَلِيُنْذِرُوْا قَوْمَهُمْ اِذَا رَجَعُوْٓا اِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُوْنَ ١٢٢

ID Translation Tidak sepatutnya bagi mukminin itu pergi semuanya (ke medan perang). Mengapa tidak pergi dari tiap-tiap golongan di antara mereka beberapa orang untuk memperdalam pengetahuan mereka tentang agama dan untuk memberi peringatan kepada kaumnya apabila mereka telah kembali kepadanya, supaya mereka itu dapat menjaga dirinya.

EN Translation With all this, it is not desirable that all of the believers take the field [in time of war]. From within every group in their midst, some shall refrain from going forth to war, and shall devote themselves [instead] to acquiring a deeper knowledge of the Faith. and [thus be able to] teach their home-coming brethren, so that these [too] might guard themselves against evil.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قَاتِلُوا الَّذِيْنَ يَلُوْنَكُمْ مِّنَ الْكُفَّارِ وَلْيَجِدُوْا فِيْكُمْ غِلْظَةًۗ وَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ ١٢٣

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, perangilah orang-orang kafir yang di sekitar kamu itu, dan hendaklah mereka menemui kekerasan daripadamu, dan ketahuilah, bahwasanya Allah bersama orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Fight against those deniers of the truth who are near you, and let them find you adamant; and know that. God is with those who are conscious of Him.

وَاِذَا مَآ اُنْزِلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ فَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ يَّقُوْلُ اَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هٰذِهٖٓ اِيْمَانًاۚ فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فَزَادَتْهُمْ اِيْمَانًا وَّهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ ١٢٤

ID Translation Dan apabila diturunkan suatu surat, maka di antara mereka (orang-orang munafik) ada yang berkata: "Siapakah di antara kamu yang bertambah imannya dengan (turannya) surat ini?" Adapun orang-orang yang beriman, maka surat ini menambah imannya, dan mereka merasa gembira.

EN Translation YET WHENEVER a surah [of this divine writ] is bestowed from on high, some of the deniers of the truth are prone to ask, "Which of you has this [message] strengthened in his faith?" Now as for those who have attained to faith, it does strengthen them in their faith, and they rejoice in the glad tiding [which God has given them].

وَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا اِلٰى رِجْسِهِمْ وَمَاتُوْا وَهُمْ كٰفِرُوْنَ ١٢٥

ID Translation Dan adapun orang-orang yang di dalam hati mereka ada penyakit, maka dengan surat itu bertambah kekafiran mereka, disamping kekafirannya (yang telah ada) dan mereka mati dalam keadaan kafir.

EN Translation But as for those in whose hearts is disease, each new message but adds another [element of] disbelief to the disbelief which they already harbour, and they die while [still] refusing to acknowledge the truth.

اَوَلَا يَرَوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُوْنَ فِيْ كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً اَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوْبُوْنَ وَلَا هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُوْنَ ١٢٦

ID Translation Dan tidaklah mereka (orang-orang munafik) memperhatikan bahwa mereka diuji sekali atau dua kali setiap tahun, dan mereka tidak (juga) bertaubat dan tidak (pula) mengambil pelajaran?

EN Translation Are they, then, not aware that they are being tested year-in, year-out? And yet, they do not repent and do not bethink themselves [of God];

وَاِذَا مَآ اُنْزِلَتْ سُوْرَةٌ نَّظَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍۗ هَلْ يَرٰىكُمْ مِّنْ اَحَدٍ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوْاۗ صَرَفَ اللّٰهُ قُلُوْبَهُمْ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ١٢٧

ID Translation Dan apabila diturunkan satu surat, sebagian mereka memandang kepada yang lain (sambil berkata): "Adakah seorang dari (orang-orang muslimin) yang melihat kamu?" Sesudah itu merekapun pergi. Allah telah memalingkan hati mereka disebabkan mereka adalah kaum yang tidak mengerti.

EN Translation and whenever a surah is bestowed from on high, they look at one another [and say, as it were], "Is there anyone who can see what is in your hearts?" -and then they turn away. God has turned their hearts away [from the truth] - for they are people who will not grasp it.

لَقَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْ عَزِيْزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيْصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٢٨

ID Translation Sungguh telah datang kepadamu seorang Rasul dari kaummu sendiri, berat terasa olehnya penderitaanmu, sangat menginginkan (keimanan dan keselamatan) bagimu, amat belas kasihan lagi penyayang terhadap orang-orang mukmin.

EN Translation INDEED, there has come unto you [O mankind] an Apostle from among yourselves: heavily weighs -upon him [the thought] that you might suffer [in the life to come]; full of concern for you [is he, and] full of compassion and mercy towards the believers.

فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۗ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ ١٢٩

ID Translation Jika mereka berpaling (dari keimanan), maka katakanlah: "Cukuplah Allah bagiku; tidak ada Tuhan selain Dia. Hanya kepada-Nya aku bertawakkal dan Dia adalah Tuhan yang memiliki 'Arsy yang agung".

EN Translation But if those [who are bent on denying the truth] turn away, say: "God is enough for me! There is no- deity save Him. In Him have I placed my trust, for He is the Sustainer, in awesome almightiness enthroned."
