سُورَةُ المُطَفِّفِينَ
وَيْلٌ لِّلْمُطَفِّفِيْنَۙ ١
ID Translation Kecelakaan besarlah bagi orang-orang yang curangEN Translation WOE UNTO THOSE who give short measure:الَّذِيْنَ اِذَا اكْتَالُوْا عَلَى النَّاسِ يَسْتَوْفُوْنَۖ ٢
ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang apabila menerima takaran dari orang lain mereka minta dipenuhi,EN Translation those who, when they are to receive their due from [other] people, demand that it be given in full –وَاِذَا كَالُوْهُمْ اَوْ وَّزَنُوْهُمْ يُخْسِرُوْنَۗ ٣
ID Translation dan apabila mereka menakar atau menimbang untuk orang lain, mereka mengurangi.EN Translation but when they have to measure or weigh whatever they owe to others, give less than what is due!اَلَا يَظُنُّ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَنَّهُمْ مَّبْعُوْثُوْنَۙ ٤
ID Translation Tidaklah orang-orang itu menyangka, bahwa sesungguhnya mereka akan dibangkitkan,EN Translation Do they not know that they are bound to be raised from the deadلِيَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍۙ ٥
ID Translation pada suatu hari yang besar,EN Translation [and called to account] on an awesome Day –يَّوْمَ يَقُوْمُ النَّاسُ لِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَۗ ٦
ID Translation (yaitu) hari (ketika) manusia berdiri menghadap Tuhan semesta alam?EN Translation the Day when all men shall stand before the Sustainer of all the worlds?كَلَّآ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الْفُجَّارِ لَفِيْ سِجِّيْنٍۗ ٧
ID Translation Sekali-kali jangan curang, karena sesungguhnya kitab orang yang durhaka tersimpan dalam sijjin.EN Translation NAY, VERILY, the record of the wicked is indeed [set down] in a mode inescapable!وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا سِجِّيْنٌۗ ٨
ID Translation Tahukah kamu apakah sijjin itu?EN Translation And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be?كِتٰبٌ مَّرْقُوْمٌۗ ٩
ID Translation (Ialah) kitab yang bertulis.EN Translation A record [indelibly] inscribed!وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَۙ ١٠
ID Translation Kecelakaan yang besarlah pada hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan,EN Translation Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth –الَّذِيْنَ يُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّيْنِۗ ١١
ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang mendustakan hari pembalasan.EN Translation those who give the lie to the [coming of] Judgment Day:وَمَا يُكَذِّبُ بِهٖٓ اِلَّا كُلُّ مُعْتَدٍ اَثِيْمٍۙ ١٢
ID Translation Dan tidak ada yang mendustakan hari pembalasan itu melainkan setiap orang yang melampaui batas lagi berdosa,EN Translation for, none gives the lie to it but such as are wont to transgress against all that is [and are] immersed in sin:اِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِ اٰيٰتُنَا قَالَ اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَۗ ١٣
ID Translation yang apabila dibacakan kepadanya ayat-ayat Kami, ia berkata: "Itu adalah dongengan orang-orang yang dahulu"EN Translation [and so,] whenever Our messages are conveyed to them, they but say, "Fables of ancient times!"كَلَّا بَلْ ۜرَانَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ١٤
ID Translation Sekali-kali tidak (demikian), sebenarnya apa yang selalu mereka usahakan itu menutupi hati mereka.EN Translation Nay, but their hearts are corroded by all [the evil] that they were wont to do!كَلَّآ اِنَّهُمْ عَنْ رَّبِّهِمْ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لَّمَحْجُوْبُوْنَۗ ١٥
ID Translation Sekali-kali tidak, sesungguhnya mereka pada hari itu benar-benar tertutup dari (rahmat) Tuhan mereka.EN Translation Nay, verily, from [the grace of] their Sustainer shall they on that Day be debarred;ثُمَّ اِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الْجَحِيْمِۗ ١٦
ID Translation Kemudian, sesungguhnya mereka benar-benar masuk neraka.EN Translation and then, behold, they shall enter the blazing fireثُمَّ يُقَالُ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهٖ تُكَذِّبُوْنَۗ ١٧
ID Translation Kemudian, dikatakan (kepada mereka): "Inilah azab yang dahulu selalu kamu dustakan".EN Translation and be told: "This is the [very thing] to which you were wont to give the lie!"كَلَّآ اِنَّ كِتٰبَ الْاَبْرَارِ لَفِيْ عِلِّيِّيْنَۗ ١٨
ID Translation Sekali-kali tidak, sesungguhnya kitab orang-orang yang berbakti itu (tersimpan) dalam 'Illiyyin.EN Translation NAY, VERILY - the record of the truly virtuous is [set down] in a mode most lofty!وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا عِلِّيُّوْنَۗ ١٩
ID Translation Tahukah kamu apakah 'Illiyyin itu?EN Translation And what could make thee conceive what that mode most lofty will be?كِتٰبٌ مَّرْقُوْمٌۙ ٢٠
ID Translation (Yaitu) kitab yang bertulis,EN Translation A record [indelibly] inscribed,يَّشْهَدُهُ الْمُقَرَّبُوْنَۗ ٢١
ID Translation yang disaksikan oleh malaikat-malaikat yang didekatkan (kepada Allah).EN Translation witnessed~ by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God.اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَفِيْ نَعِيْمٍۙ ٢٢
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang yang berbakti itu benar-benar berada dalam kenikmatan yang besar (surga),EN Translation Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous will indeed be in bliss:عَلَى الْاَرَاۤىِٕكِ يَنْظُرُوْنَۙ ٢٣
ID Translation mereka (duduk) di atas dipan-dipan sambil memandang.EN Translation [resting on couches, they will look up [to God]:تَعْرِفُ فِيْ وُجُوْهِهِمْ نَضْرَةَ النَّعِيْمِۚ ٢٤
ID Translation Kamu dapat mengetahui dari wajah mereka kesenangan mereka yang penuh kenikmatan.EN Translation upon their faces thou wilt see the brightness of bliss.يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْ رَّحِيْقٍ مَّخْتُوْمٍۙ ٢٥
ID Translation Mereka diberi minum dari khamar murni yang dilak (tempatnya),EN Translation They will be given a drink of pure wine whereon the seal [of God] will have been set,خِتٰمُهٗ مِسْكٌ ۗوَفِيْ ذٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُوْنَۗ ٢٦
ID Translation laknya adalah kesturi; dan untuk yang demikian itu hendaknya orang berlomba-lomba.EN Translation pouring forth with a fragrance of musk. To that [wine of paradise], then, let all such aspire as [are willing to] aspire to things of high account:وَمِزَاجُهٗ مِنْ تَسْنِيْمٍۙ ٢٧
ID Translation Dan campuran khamar murni itu adalah dari tasnim,EN Translation for it is composed of all that is most exaltingعَيْنًا يَّشْرَبُ بِهَا الْمُقَرَّبُوْنَۗ ٢٨
ID Translation (yaitu) mata air yang minum daripadanya orang-orang yang didekatkan kepada Allah.EN Translation a source [of bliss] whereof those who are drawn close unto God shall drink.اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اَجْرَمُوْا كَانُوْا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا يَضْحَكُوْنَۖ ٢٩
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang berdosa, adalah mereka yang menertawakan orang-orang yang beriman.EN Translation BEHOLD, those who have abandoned themselves to sin are wont to laugh at such as have attained to faithوَاِذَا مَرُّوْا بِهِمْ يَتَغَامَزُوْنَۖ ٣٠
ID Translation Dan apabila orang-orang yang beriman lalu di hadapan mereka, mereka saling mengedip-ngedipkan matanya.EN Translation and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively];وَاِذَا انْقَلَبُوْٓا اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهِمُ انْقَلَبُوْا فَكِهِيْنَۖ ٣١
ID Translation Dan apabila orang-orang yang berdosa itu kembali kepada kaumnya, mereka kembali dengan gembira.EN Translation and whenever they return to people of their own kind, they return full of jests;وَاِذَا رَاَوْهُمْ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَضَاۤلُّوْنَۙ ٣٢
ID Translation Dan apabila mereka melihat orang-orang mukmin, mereka mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya mereka itu benar-benar orang-orang yang sesat",EN Translation and whenever they see those [who believe,] they say, "Behold, these [people] have indeed gone astray!"وَمَآ اُرْسِلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ حٰفِظِيْنَۗ ٣٣
ID Translation padahal orang-orang yang berdosa itu tidak dikirim untuk penjaga bagi orang-orang mukmin.EN Translation And, withal, they have no call to watch over [the beliefs of] others...فَالْيَوْمَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنَ الْكُفَّارِ يَضْحَكُوْنَۙ ٣٤
ID Translation Maka pada hari ini, orang-orang yang beriman menertawakan orang-orang kafir,EN Translation But on the Day [of Judgment], they who had attained to faith will [be able to] laugh at the [erstwhile] deniers of the truth:عَلَى الْاَرَاۤىِٕكِ يَنْظُرُوْنَۗ ٣٥
ID Translation mereka (duduk) di atas dipan-dipan sambil memandang.EN Translation [for, resting in paradise] on couches, they will look on [and say to themselves]:هَلْ ثُوِّبَ الْكُفَّارُ مَا كَانُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ ٣٦
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang kafir telah diberi ganjaran terhadap apa yang dahulu mereka kerjakan.EN Translation "Are these deniers of the truth being [thus] requited for [aught but] what they were wont to do?"
