سُورَةُ القِيَامَةِ
لَآ اُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِۙ ١
ID Translation Aku bersumpah demi hari kiamat,EN Translation NAY! I call to witness the Day of Resurrection!وَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ ٢
ID Translation dan aku bersumpah dengan jiwa yang amat menyesali (dirinya sendiri).EN Translation But nay! I call to witness the accusing voice of man's own conscience!اَيَحْسَبُ الْاِنْسَانُ اَلَّنْ نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهٗ ۗ ٣
ID Translation Apakah manusia mengira, bahwa Kami tidak akan mengumpulkan (kembali) tulang belulangnya?EN Translation Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again?بَلٰى قَادِرِيْنَ عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهٗ ٤
ID Translation Bukan demikian, sebenarnya Kami kuasa menyusun (kembali) jari jemarinya dengan sempurna.EN Translation Yea indeed, We are able to make whole his very finger-tips!بَلْ يُرِيْدُ الْاِنْسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ اَمَامَهٗۚ ٥
ID Translation Bahkan manusia itu hendak membuat maksiat terus menerus.EN Translation None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him,يَسْـَٔلُ اَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيٰمَةِۗ ٦
ID Translation Ia berkata: "Bilakah hari kiamat itu?"EN Translation asking [derisively], "When is that Resurrection Day to be?"فَاِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُۙ ٧
ID Translation Maka apabila mata terbelalak (ketakutan),EN Translation But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded,وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُۙ ٨
ID Translation dan apabila bulan telah hilang cahayanya,EN Translation and the moon is darkened,وَجُمِعَ الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُۙ ٩
ID Translation dan matahari dan bulan dikumpulkan,EN Translation and the sun and the moon are brought togetherيَقُوْلُ الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ اَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّۚ ١٠
ID Translation pada hari itu manusia berkata: "Ke mana tempat berlari?"EN Translation on that Day will man exclaim "Whither to flee?"كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَۗ ١١
ID Translation sekali-kali tidak! Tidak ada tempat berlindung!EN Translation But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]!اِلٰى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَىِٕذِ ِۨالْمُسْتَقَرُّۗ ١٢
ID Translation Hanya kepada Tuhanmu sajalah pada hari itu tempat kembali.EN Translation With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be!يُنَبَّؤُا الْاِنْسَانُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَاَخَّرَۗ ١٣
ID Translation Pada hari itu diberitakan kepada manusia apa yang telah dikerjakannya dan apa yang dilalaikannya.EN Translation Man will be apprised, on that Day, of what he has done and what he has left undone:بَلِ الْاِنْسَانُ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖ بَصِيْرَةٌۙ ١٤
ID Translation Bahkan manusia itu menjadi saksi atas dirinya sendiri,EN Translation nay, but man shall against himself be an eye-witness,وَّلَوْ اَلْقٰى مَعَاذِيْرَهٗۗ ١٥
ID Translation meskipun dia mengemukakan alasan-alasannya.EN Translation even though he may veil himself in excuses.لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهٖ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهٖۗ ١٦
ID Translation Janganlah kamu gerakkan lidahmu untuk (membaca) Al Quran karena hendak cepat-cepat (menguasai)nya.EN Translation MOVE NOT thy tongue in haste, [repeating the words of the revelation:]اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهٗ وَقُرْاٰنَهٗ ۚ ١٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya atas tanggungan Kamilah mengumpulkannya (di dadamu) dan (membuatmu pandai) membacanya.EN Translation for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read].فَاِذَا قَرَأْنٰهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْاٰنَهٗ ۚ ١٨
ID Translation Apabila Kami telah selesai membacakannya maka ikutilah bacaannya itu.EN Translation Thus, when We recite it, follow thou its wording [with all thy mind]:ثُمَّ اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهٗ ۗ ١٩
ID Translation Kemudian, sesungguhnya atas tanggungan Kamilah penjelasannya.EN Translation and then, behold, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear.كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّوْنَ الْعَاجِلَةَۙ ٢٠
ID Translation Sekali-kali janganlah demikian. Sebenarnya kamu (hai manusia) mencintai kehidupan dunia,EN Translation NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life,وَتَذَرُوْنَ الْاٰخِرَةَۗ ٢١
ID Translation dan meninggalkan (kehidupan) akhirat.EN Translation and give no thought to the life to come [and to Judgment Day]!وُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ نَّاضِرَةٌۙ ٢٢
ID Translation Wajah-wajah (orang-orang mukmin) pada hari itu berseri-seri.EN Translation Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness,اِلٰى رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌ ۚ ٢٣
ID Translation Kepada Tuhannyalah mereka melihat.EN Translation looking up to their Sustainer;وَوُجُوْهٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍۢ بَاسِرَةٌۙ ٢٤
ID Translation Dan wajah-wajah (orang kafir) pada hari itu muram,EN Translation and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair,تَظُنُّ اَنْ يُّفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌ ۗ ٢٥
ID Translation mereka yakin bahwa akan ditimpakan kepadanya malapetaka yang amat dahsyat.EN Translation knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them.كَلَّآ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ التَّرَاقِيَۙ ٢٦
ID Translation Sekali-kali jangan. Apabila nafas (seseorang) telah (mendesak) sampai ke kerongkongan,EN Translation NAY, but when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man],وَقِيْلَ مَنْ ۜرَاقٍۙ ٢٧
ID Translation dan dikatakan (kepadanya): "Siapakah yang dapat menyembuhkan?",EN Translation and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?"وَّظَنَّ اَنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُۙ ٢٨
ID Translation dan dia yakin bahwa sesungguhnya itulah waktu perpisahan (dengan dunia),EN Translation the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting,وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِۙ ٢٩
ID Translation dan bertaut betis (kiri) dan betis (kanan),EN Translation and is enwrapped in the pangs of deathاِلٰى رَبِّكَ يَوْمَىِٕذِ ِۨالْمَسَاقُ ۗ ٣٠
ID Translation kepada Tuhanmulah pada hari itu kamu dihalau.EN Translation at that time towards thy Sustainer does he feel impelled to turn!فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلّٰىۙ ٣١
ID Translation Dan ia tidak mau membenarkan (Rasul dan Al Quran) dan tidak mau mengerjakan shalat,EN Translation [Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment],وَلٰكِنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّٰىۙ ٣٢
ID Translation tetapi ia mendustakan (Rasul) dam berpaling (dari kebenaran),EN Translation but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it],ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ اِلٰٓى اَهْلِهٖ يَتَمَطّٰىۗ ٣٣
ID Translation kemudian ia pergi kepada ahlinya dengan berlagak (sombong).EN Translation and then went arrogantly back to what he had come from.اَوْلٰى لَكَ فَاَوْلٰىۙ ٣٤
ID Translation Kecelakaanlah bagimu (hai orang kafir) dan kecelakaanlah bagimu,EN Translation [And yet, O man, thine end comes hourly] nearer unto thee, and nearer –ثُمَّ اَوْلٰى لَكَ فَاَوْلٰىۗ ٣٥
ID Translation kemudian kecelakaanlah bagimu (hai orang kafir) dan kecelakaanlah bagimu.EN Translation and ever nearer unto thee, and nearer!اَيَحْسَبُ الْاِنْسَانُ اَنْ يُّتْرَكَ سُدًىۗ ٣٦
ID Translation Apakah manusia mengira, bahwa ia akan dibiarkan begitu saja (tanpa pertanggung jawaban)?EN Translation DOES MAN, then, think that he is to be left to himself to go about at will?اَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةً مِّنْ مَّنِيٍّ يُّمْنٰى ٣٧
ID Translation Bukankah dia dahulu setetes mani yang ditumpahkan (ke dalam rahim),EN Translation Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt,ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقَ فَسَوّٰىۙ ٣٨
ID Translation kemudian mani itu menjadi segumpal darah, lalu Allah menciptakannya, dan menyempurnakannya,EN Translation and thereafter became a germ-cell - whereupon He created and formed [it] in accordance with what [it] was meant to be,فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُنْثٰىۗ ٣٩
ID Translation lalu Allah menjadikan daripadanya sepasang: laki-laki dan perempuan.EN Translation and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female?اَلَيْسَ ذٰلِكَ بِقٰدِرٍ عَلٰٓى اَنْ يُّحْيِ َۧ الْمَوْتٰى ٤٠
ID Translation Bukankah (Allah yang berbuat) demikian berkuasa (pula) menghidupkan orang mati?EN Translation Is not He, then; able to bring the dead back to life?
