سُورَةُ المَسَدِ

تَبَّتْ يَدَآ اَبِيْ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّۗ ١

ID Translation Binasalah kedua tangan Abu Lahab dan sesungguhnya dia akan binasa.

EN Translation DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he!

مَآ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُ مَالُهٗ وَمَا كَسَبَۗ ٢

ID Translation Tidaklah berfaedah kepadanya harta bendanya dan apa yang ia usahakan.

EN Translation What will his wealth avail him, and all that he has gained?

سَيَصْلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۙ ٣

ID Translation Kelak dia akan masuk ke dalam api yang bergejolak.

EN Translation [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing;

وَّامْرَاَتُهٗ ۗحَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِۚ ٤

ID Translation Dan (begitu pula) istrinya, pembawa kayu bakar.

EN Translation together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales,

فِيْ جِيْدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّنْ مَّسَدٍ ٥

ID Translation Yang di lehernya ada tali dari sabut.

EN Translation [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands!
