Ruku` ke 534 Surah Al-Lail ~ My QUR`AN
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَالَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰىۙ ١
ID Translation Demi malam apabila menutupi (cahaya siang),
EN Translation CONSIDER the night as it veils [the earth] in darkness,
وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا تَجَلّٰىۙ ٢
ID Translation dan siang apabila terang benderang,
EN Translation and the day as it rises bright!
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُنْثٰىٓ ۙ ٣
ID Translation dan penciptaan laki-laki dan perempuan,
EN Translation Consider the creation of the male and the female!
اِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتّٰىۗ ٤
ID Translation sesungguhnya usaha kamu memang berbeda-beda.
EN Translation Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends!
فَاَمَّا مَنْ اَعْطٰى وَاتَّقٰىۙ ٥
ID Translation Adapun orang yang memberikan (hartanya di jalan Allah) dan bertakwa,
EN Translation Thus, as for him who gives [to others] and is conscious of God,
وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنٰىۙ ٦
ID Translation dan membenarkan adanya pahala yang terbaik (surga),
EN Translation and believes in the truth of the ultimate good
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهٗ لِلْيُسْرٰىۗ ٧
ID Translation maka Kami kelak akan menyiapkan baginya jalan yang mudah.
EN Translation for him shall We make easy the path towards [ultimate] ease.
وَاَمَّا مَنْۢ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنٰىۙ ٨
ID Translation Dan adapun orang-orang yang bakhil dan merasa dirinya cukup,
EN Translation But as for him who is niggardly, and thinks that he is self-sufficient,
وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنٰىۙ ٩
ID Translation serta mendustakan pahala terbaik,
EN Translation and calls the ultimate good a lie –
فَسَنُيَسِّرُهٗ لِلْعُسْرٰىۗ ١٠
ID Translation maka kelak Kami akan menyiapkan baginya (jalan) yang sukar.
EN Translation for him shall We make easy the path towards hardship:
وَمَا يُغْنِيْ عَنْهُ مَالُهٗٓ اِذَا تَرَدّٰىٓۙ ١١
ID Translation Dan hartanya tidak bermanfaat baginya apabila ia telah binasa.
EN Translation and what will his wealth avail him when he goes down [to his grave]?
اِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدٰىۖ ١٢
ID Translation Sesungguhnya kewajiban Kamilah memberi petunjuk,
EN Translation BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance;
وَاِنَّ لَنَا لَلْاٰخِرَةَ وَالْاُوْلٰىۗ ١٣
ID Translation dan sesungguhnya kepunyaan Kamilah akhirat dan dunia.
EN Translation and, behold, Ours is [the dominion over] the life to come as well as [over] this earlier part [of your life]:
فَاَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظّٰىۚ ١٤
ID Translation Maka, kami memperingatkan kamu dengan neraka yang menyala-nyala.
EN Translation and so I warn you of the raging fire -
لَا يَصْلٰىهَآ اِلَّا الْاَشْقَىۙ ١٥
ID Translation Tidak ada yang masuk ke dalamnya kecuali orang yang paling celaka,
EN Translation [the fire] which none shall have to endure but that most hapless wretch
الَّذِيْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّٰىۗ ١٦
ID Translation yang mendustakan (kebenaran) dan berpaling (dari iman).
EN Translation who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it].
وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْاَتْقَىۙ ١٧
ID Translation Dan kelak akan dijauhkan orang yang paling takwa dari neraka itu,
EN Translation For, distant from it shall remain he who is truly conscious of God:
الَّذِيْ يُؤْتِيْ مَالَهٗ يَتَزَكّٰىۚ ١٨
ID Translation yang menafkahkan hartanya (di jalan Allah) untuk membersihkannya,
EN Translation he that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity –
وَمَا لِاَحَدٍ عِنْدَهٗ مِنْ نِّعْمَةٍ تُجْزٰىٓۙ ١٩
ID Translation padahal tidak ada seseorangpun memberikan suatu nikmat kepadanya yang harus dibalasnya,
EN Translation not as payment for favours received,
اِلَّا ابْتِغَاۤءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْاَعْلٰىۚ ٢٠
ID Translation tetapi (dia memberikan itu semata-mata) karena mencari keridhaan Tuhannya yang Maha Tinggi.
EN Translation but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest:
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضٰى ٢١
ID Translation Dan kelak dia benar-benar mendapat kepuasan.
EN Translation and such, indeed, shall in time be well-pleased.
