Ruku` ke 382 Surah Yaseen ~ My QUR`AN

وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَّثَلًا اَصْحٰبَ الْقَرْيَةِۘ اِذْ جَاۤءَهَا الْمُرْسَلُوْنَۚ ١٣

ID Translation Dan buatlah bagi mereka suatu perumpamaan, yaitu penduduk suatu negeri ketika utusan-utusan datang kepada mereka.

EN Translation AND SET FORTH unto them a parable - [the story of how] the people of a township [behaved] when [Our] message-bearers came unto them.

اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوْهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوْٓا اِنَّآ اِلَيْكُمْ مُّرْسَلُوْنَ ١٤

ID Translation (yaitu) ketika Kami mengutus kepada mereka dua orang utusan, lalu mereka mendustakan keduanya; kemudian Kami kuatkan dengan (utusan) yang ketiga, maka ketiga utusan itu berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami adalah orang-orang di utus kepadamu".

EN Translation Lo! We sent unto them two [apostles], and. they gave the lie to both; and so We strengthened [the two] with a third; and thereupon they said: “Behold, we have been sent unto you [by God]!”

قَالُوْا مَآ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ وَمَآ اَنْزَلَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مِنْ شَيْءٍۙ اِنْ اَنْتُمْ اِلَّا تَكْذِبُوْنَ ١٥

ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Kamu tidak lain hanyalah manusia seperti kami dan Allah Yang Maha Pemurah tidak menurunkan sesuatupun, kamu tidak lain hanyalah pendusta belaka".

EN Translation [The others] answered: “You are nothing but mortal men like ourselves; moreover, the Most Gracious has never bestowed aught [of revelation] from on high. You do nothing but lie!”

قَالُوْا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ اِنَّآ اِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُوْنَ ١٦

ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Tuhan kami mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya kami adalah orang yang diutus kepada kamu".

EN Translation Said [the apostles]: “Our Sustainer knows that we have indeed been sent unto you;

وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ اِلَّا الْبَلٰغُ الْمُبِيْنُ ١٧

ID Translation Dan kewajiban kami tidak lain hanyalah menyampaikan (perintah Allah) dengan jelas".

EN Translation but we are not bound to do more than clearly deliver the mes­sage [entrusted to us].”

قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْۚ لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهُوْا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُمْ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ١٨

ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Sesungguhnya kami bernasib malang karena kamu, sesungguhnya jika kamu tidak berhenti (menyeru kami), niscaya kami akan merajam kamu dan kamu pasti akan mendapat siksa yang pedih dari kami".

EN Translation Said [the others]: “Truly, we augur evil from you! Indeed, if you desist not, we will surely stone you, and grievous suffering is bound to befall you at our hands!”

قَالُوْا طَاۤىِٕرُكُمْ مَّعَكُمْۗ اَىِٕنْ ذُكِّرْتُمْۗ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُوْنَ ١٩

ID Translation Utusan-utusan itu berkata: "Kemalangan kamu adalah karena kamu sendiri. Apakah jika kamu diberi peringatan (kamu bernasib malang)? Sebenarnya kamu adalah kaum yang melampui batas".

EN Translation [The apostles] replied: “Your destiny, good or evil, is [bound up] with yourselves! [Does it seem evil to you] if you are told to take [the truth] to heart? Nay, but you are people who have wasted their own selves!”

وَجَاۤءَ مِنْ اَقْصَا الْمَدِيْنَةِ رَجُلٌ يَّسْعٰى قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِيْنَۙ ٢٠

ID Translation Dan datanglah dari ujung kota, seorang laki-laki dengan bergegas-gegas ia berkata: "Hai kaumku, ikutilah utusan-utusan itu".

EN Translation At that, a man came running from the farthest end of the city, [and] exclaimed: “O my people! Follow these message-bearers!

اتَّبِعُوْا مَنْ لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ اَجْرًا وَّهُمْ مُّهْتَدُوْنَ ۔ ٢١

ID Translation Ikutilah orang yang tiada minta balasan kepadamu; dan mereka adalah orang-orang yang mendapat petunjuk.

EN Translation Follow those who ask no reward of you, and themselves are rightly guided!

وَمَا لِيَ لَآ اَعْبُدُ الَّذِيْ فَطَرَنِيْ وَاِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ ٢٢

ID Translation Mengapa aku tidak menyembah (Tuhan) yang telah menciptakanku dan yang hanya kepada-Nya-lah kamu (semua) akan dikembalikan?

EN Translation “[As for me,] why should I not worship Him who has brought me into being, and to whom you all will be brought back?

ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖٓ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ يُّرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّيْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا يُنْقِذُوْنِۚ ٢٣

ID Translation Mengapa aku akan menyembah tuhan-tuhan selain-Nya jika (Allah) Yang Maha Pemurah menghendaki kemudharatan terhadapku, niscaya syafa'at mereka tidak memberi manfaat sedikitpun bagi diriku dan mereka tidak (pula) dapat menyelamatkanku?

EN Translation Should I take to worship­ping [other] deities beside Him? [But then,] if the Most Gracious should will that harm befall me, their intercession could not in the least avail me, nor could they save me:

اِنِّيْٓ اِذًا لَّفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٢٤

ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku kalau begitu pasti berada dalam kesesatan yang nyata.

EN Translation and so, behold, I would have indeed, most obviously, lost myself in error!

اِنِّيْٓ اٰمَنْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُوْنِۗ ٢٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku telah beriman kepada Tuhanmu; maka dengarkanlah (pengakuan keimanan)ku.

EN Translation “Verily, [O my people,] in the Sustainer of you all have I come to believe: listen, then, to me!”

قِيْلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ ۗقَالَ يٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِيْ يَعْلَمُوْنَۙ ٢٦

ID Translation Dikatakan (kepadanya): "Masuklah ke surga". Ia berkata: "Alangkah baiknya sekiranya kamumku mengetahui.

EN Translation [And] he was told, “[Thou shalt] enter paradise!” - [whereupon] he exclaimed: “Would that my people knew

بِمَا غَفَرَ لِيْ رَبِّيْ وَجَعَلَنِيْ مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِيْنَ ٢٧

ID Translation Apa yang menyebabkan Tuhanku memberi ampun kepadaku dan menjadikan aku termasuk orang-orang yang dimuliakan".

EN Translation how my Sustainer has forgiven me [the sins of my past], and has placed me among the honoured ones!”

۞ وَمَآ اَنْزَلْنَا عَلٰى قَوْمِهٖ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ مِنْ جُنْدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنْزِلِيْنَ ٢٨

ID Translation Dan kami tidak menurunkan kepada kaumnya sesudah dia (meninggal) suatu pasukanpun dari langit dan tidak layak Kami menurunkannya.

EN Translation And after that, no host out of heaven did We send down against his people, nor did We need to send down any:

اِنْ كَانَتْ اِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَاِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُوْنَ ٢٩

ID Translation Tidak ada siksaan atas mereka melainkan satu teriakan suara saja; maka tiba-tiba mereka semuanya mati.

EN Translation nothing was [needed] but one single blast [of Our punishment] - and lo! they became as still and silent as ashes.

يٰحَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِۚ مَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ٣٠

ID Translation Alangkah besarnya penyesalan terhadap hamba-hamba itu, tiada datang seorang rasulpun kepada mereka melainkan mereka selalu memperolok-olokkannya.

EN Translation OH, THE REGRETS that [most] human beings will have to bear! Never has an apostle come to them without their deriding him!

اَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنَ الْقُرُوْنِ اَنَّهُمْ اِلَيْهِمْ لَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ ٣١

ID Translation Tidakkah mereka mengetahui berapa banyaknya umat-umat sebelum mereka yang telah Kami binasakan, bahwasanya orang-orang (yang telah Kami binasakan) itu tiada kembali kepada mereka.

EN Translation Are they not aware of how many a generation We have destroyed before their time, [and] that those [that have perished] will never return to them,

وَاِنْ كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيْعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُوْنَ ٣٢

ID Translation Dan setiap mereka semuanya akan dikumpulkan lagi kepada Kami.

EN Translation and [that] all of them, all together, will [in the end] before Us be arraigned?
