Ruku` ke 286 Surah Al-Hajj ~ My QUR`AN

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّعْبُدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى حَرْفٍۚ فَاِنْ اَصَابَهٗ خَيْرُ ِۨاطْمَـَٔنَّ بِهٖۚ وَاِنْ اَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةُ ِۨانْقَلَبَ عَلٰى وَجْهِهٖۗ خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةَۗ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِيْنُ ١١

ID Translation Dan di antara manusia ada orang yang menyembah Allah dengan berada di tepi; maka jika ia memperoleh kebajikan, tetaplah ia dalam keadaan itu, dan jika ia ditimpa oleh suatu bencana, berbaliklah ia ke belakang. Rugilah ia di dunia dan di akhirat. Yang demikian itu adalah kerugian yang nyata.

EN Translation And there is, too, among men many a one who worships God on the border-line [of faith]: thus, if good befalls him, he is satisfied with Him; but if a trial assails him, he turns away utterly, losing [thereby both] this world and the life to come: [and] this, indeed, is a loss beyond compare!

يَدْعُوْا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهٗ وَمَا لَا يَنْفَعُهٗۗ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلٰلُ الْبَعِيْدُ ۚ ١٢

ID Translation Ia menyeru selain Allah, sesuatu yang tidak dapat memberi mudharat dan tidak (pula) memberi manfaat kepadanya. Yang demikian itu adalah kesesatan yang jauh.

EN Translation [By behaving thus,] he invokes, instead of God, something that can neither harm nor benefit him: [and] this is indeed the utmost one can go astray.

يَدْعُوْا لَمَنْ ضَرُّهٗٓ اَقْرَبُ مِنْ نَّفْعِهٖۗ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلٰى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيْرُ ١٣

ID Translation Ia menyeru sesuatu yang sebenarnya mudharatnya lebih dekat dari manfaatnya. Sesungguhnya yang diserunya itu adalah sejahat-jahat kawan.

EN Translation [And sometimes] he invokes [another human being] one that is far more likely to cause harm than benefit: vile, indeed, is such a patron and vile the follower!

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُدْخِلُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيْدُ ١٤

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah memasukkan orang-orang yang beriman dan mengerjakan amal yang saleh ke dalam surga-surga yang di bawahnya mengalir sungai-sungai. Sesungguhnya Allah berbuat apa yang Dia kehendaki.

EN Translation VERILY, God will admit those who have attained to faith and have done righteous deeds into gardens through which running waters flow: for, behold, God does whatever He wills.

مَنْ كَانَ يَظُنُّ اَنْ لَّنْ يَّنْصُرَهُ اللّٰهُ فِى الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ فَلْيَمْدُدْ بِسَبَبٍ اِلَى السَّمَاۤءِ ثُمَّ لْيَقْطَعْ فَلْيَنْظُرْ هَلْ يُذْهِبَنَّ كَيْدُهٗ مَا يَغِيْظُ ١٥

ID Translation Barangsiapa yang menyangka bahwa Allah sekali-kali tiada menolongnya (Muhammad) di dunia dan akhirat, maka hendaklah ia merentangkan tali ke langit, kemudian hendaklah ia melaluinya, kemudian hendaklah ia pikirkan apakah tipu dayanya itu dapat melenyapkan apa yang menyakitkan hatinya.

EN Translation If anyone thinks that God will not succour him in this world and in the life to come, let him reach out unto heaven by any [other] means and [thus try to] make headway: and then let him see whether this scheme of his will indeed do away with the cause of his anguish.

وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ اٰيٰتٍۢ بَيِّنٰتٍۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَهْدِيْ مَنْ يُّرِيْدُ ١٦

ID Translation Dan demikianlah Kami telah menurunkan Al Quran yang merupakan ayat-ayat yang nyata, dan bahwasanya Allah memberikan petunjuk kepada siapa yang Dia kehendaki.

EN Translation And thus have We bestowed from on high this [divine writ] in the shape of clear messages: for [thus it is] that God guides him who wills [to be guided].

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَالَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا وَالصَّابِـِٕيْنَ وَالنَّصٰرٰى وَالْمَجُوْسَ وَالَّذِيْنَ اَشْرَكُوْٓا ۖاِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ ١٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang beriman, orang-orang Yahudi, orang-orang Shaabi-iin orang-orang Nasrani, orang-orang Majusi dan orang-orang musyrik, Allah akan memberi keputusan di antara mereka pada hari kiamat. Sesungguhnya Allah menyaksikan segala sesuatu.

EN Translation Verily, as for those who have attained to faith [in this divine writ], and those who follow the Jewish faith, and the Sabians, and the Christians, and the Magians, [on the one hand,] and those who are bent on ascribing divinity to aught but God, [on the other,] verily, God will decide between them on Resurrection Day: for, behold, God is witness unto everything.

اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَسْجُدُ لَهٗ مَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَنْ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ وَالنُّجُوْمُ وَالْجِبَالُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَالدَّوَاۤبُّ وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنَ النَّاسِۗ وَكَثِيْرٌ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَذَابُۗ وَمَنْ يُّهِنِ اللّٰهُ فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ مُّكْرِمٍۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاۤءُ ۩ۗ ١٨

ID Translation Apakah kamu tiada mengetahui, bahwa kepada Allah bersujud apa yang ada di langit, di bumi, matahari, bulan, bintang, gunung, pohon-pohonan, binatang-binatang yang melata dan sebagian besar daripada manusia? Dan banyak di antara manusia yang telah ditetapkan azab atasnya. Dan barangsiapa yang dihinakan Allah maka tidak seorangpun yang memuliakannya. Sesungguhnya Allah berbuat apa yang Dia kehendaki.

EN Translation ART THOU NOT aware that before God prostrate themselves all [things and beings] that are in the heavens and all that are on earth the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the mountains, and the trees, and the beasts? And many human beings [submit to God con­sciously], whereas many [others, having defied Him,] will inevitably have to suffer [in the life to come]; and he whom God shall scorn [on Resur­rection Day] will have none who could bestow honour on him: for, verily, God does what He wills.

۞ هٰذَانِ خَصْمٰنِ اخْتَصَمُوْا فِيْ رَبِّهِمْ فَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا قُطِّعَتْ لَهُمْ ثِيَابٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍۗ يُصَبُّ مِنْ فَوْقِ رُءُوْسِهِمُ الْحَمِيْمُ ۚ ١٩

ID Translation Inilah dua golongan (golongan mukmin dan golongan kafir) yang bertengkar, mereka saling bertengkar mengenai Tuhan mereka. Maka orang kafir akan dibuatkan untuk mereka pakaian-pakaian dari api neraka. Disiramkan air yang sedang mendidih ke atas kepala mereka.

EN Translation These two contrary kinds of man have become engrossed in contention about their Sus­tainer! But [thus it is:] as for those who are bent on denying the truth garments of fire shall be cut out for them [in the life to come]; burning despair will be poured over their heads,

يُصْهَرُ بِهٖ مَا فِيْ بُطُوْنِهِمْ وَالْجُلُوْدُ ۗ ٢٠

ID Translation Dengan air itu dihancur luluhkan segala apa yang ada dalam perut mereka dan juga kulit (mereka).

EN Translation causing all that is within their bodies, as well as the skins, to melt away.

وَلَهُمْ مَّقَامِعُ مِنْ حَدِيْدٍ ٢١

ID Translation Dan untuk mereka cambuk-cambuk dari besi.

EN Translation And they shall be held [in this state as if] by iron grips;

كُلَّمَآ اَرَادُوْٓا اَنْ يَّخْرُجُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ غَمٍّ اُعِيْدُوْا فِيْهَا وَذُوْقُوْا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيْقِ ٢٢

ID Translation Setiap kali mereka hendak ke luar dari neraka lantaran kesengsaraan mereka, niscaya mereka dikembalikan ke dalamnya. (Kepada mereka dikatakan), "Rasailah azab yang membakar ini".

EN Translation and every time they try in their anguish to come out of it, they shall be returned thereto and [be told]: “Taste suffering through fire [to the full]!”
