۞ كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلُ عَلٰى نَفْسِهٖ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرٰىةُ ۗ قُلْ فَأْتُوْا بِالتَّوْرٰىةِ فَاتْلُوْهَآ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٩٣

ID Translation Semua makanan adalah halal bagi Bani Israil melainkan makanan yang diharamkan oleh Israil (Ya'qub) untuk dirinya sendiri sebelum Taurat diturunkan. Katakanlah: "(Jika kamu mengatakan ada makanan yang diharamkan sebelum turun Taurat), maka bawalah Taurat itu, lalu bacalah dia jika kamu orang-orang yang benar".

EN Translation ALL FOOD was lawful unto the children of Israel, save what Israel had made unlawful unto itself [by its sinning] before the Torah was bestowed from on high. Say: "Come forward, then, with the Torah and recite it, if what you say is true!"

فَمَنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ٩٤

ID Translation Maka barangsiapa mengada-adakan dusta terhadap Allah sesudah itu, maka merekalah orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation And all who henceforth invent lies about God - it is they, they who are evildoers!

قُلْ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ ۗ فَاتَّبِعُوْا مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ حَنِيْفًاۗ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ٩٥

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Benarlah (apa yang difirmankan) Allah". Maka ikutilah agama Ibrahim yang lurus, dan bukanlah dia termasuk orang-orang yang musyrik.

EN Translation Say: "God has spoken the truth: follow, then, the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God."

اِنَّ اَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُّضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِيْ بِبَكَّةَ مُبٰرَكًا وَّهُدًى لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَۚ ٩٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya rumah yang mula-mula dibangun untuk (tempat beribadat) manusia, ialah Baitullah yang di Bakkah (Mekah) yang diberkahi dan menjadi petunjuk bagi semua manusia.

EN Translation Behold, the first Temple ever set up for mankind was indeed the one at Bakkah: rich in blessing, and a [source of] guidance unto all the worlds,

فِيْهِ اٰيٰتٌۢ بَيِّنٰتٌ مَّقَامُ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ ەۚ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهٗ كَانَ اٰمِنًا ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ اِلَيْهِ سَبِيْلًا ۗ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٩٧

ID Translation Padanya terdapat tanda-tanda yang nyata, (di antaranya) maqam Ibrahim; barangsiapa memasukinya (Baitullah itu) menjadi amanlah dia; mengerjakan haji adalah kewajiban manusia terhadap Allah, yaitu (bagi) orang yang sanggup mengadakan perjalanan ke Baitullah. Barangsiapa mengingkari (kewajiban haji), maka sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kaya (tidak memerlukan sesuatu) dari semesta alam.

EN Translation full of clear messages. [It is] the place whereon Abraham once stood; and whoever enters it finds inner peace. Hence, pilgrimage unto the Temple is a duty owed to God by all people who are able to undertake it. And as for those who deny the truth - verily, God does not stand in need of anything in all the worlds.

قُلْ يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَاللّٰهُ شَهِيْدٌ عَلٰى مَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٨

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Hai Ahli Kitab, mengapa kamu ingkari ayat-ayat Allah, padahal Allah Maha menyaksikan apa yang kamu kerjakan?".

EN Translation SAY: "O followers of earlier revelation! Why do you refuse to acknowledge the truth of God's messages, when God is witness to all that you do?"

قُلْ يٰٓاَهْلَ الْكِتٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ تَبْغُوْنَهَا عِوَجًا وَّاَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاۤءُ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٩

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Hai Ahli Kitab, mengapa kamu menghalang-halangi dari jalan Allah orang-orang yang telah beriman, kamu menghendakinya menjadi bengkok, padahal kamu menyaksikan?". Allah sekali-kali tidak lalai dari apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation Say: "O followers of earlier revelation! Why do you [endeavour to] bar those who have come to believe [in this divine writ] from the path of God by trying to make it appear crooked, when you yourselves bear witness [to its being straight]? For, God is not unaware of what you do."

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنْ تُطِيْعُوْا فَرِيْقًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ يَرُدُّوْكُمْ بَعْدَ اِيْمَانِكُمْ كٰفِرِيْنَ ١٠٠

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jika kamu mengikuti sebahagian dari orang-orang yang diberi Al Kitab, niscaya mereka akan mengembalikan kamu menjadi orang kafir sesudah kamu beriman.

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! If you pay heed to some of those to whom revelation was vouchsafed aforetime, they might cause you to renounce the truth after you have come to believe [in it].

وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ وَاَنْتُمْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيٰتُ اللّٰهِ وَفِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلُهٗ ۗ وَمَنْ يَّعْتَصِمْ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ١٠١

ID Translation Bagaimanakah kamu (sampai) menjadi kafir, padahal ayat-ayat Allah dibacakan kepada kamu, dan Rasul-Nya pun berada di tengah-tengah kamu? Barangsiapa yang berpegang teguh kepada (agama) Allah, maka sesungguhnya ia telah diberi petunjuk kepada jalan yang lurus.

EN Translation And how could you deny the truth when it is unto you that God's messages are being conveyed, and it is in your midst that His Apostle lives? But he who holds fast unto God has already been guided onto a straight way.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ تُقٰىتِهٖ وَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ١٠٢

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bertakwalah kepada Allah sebenar-benar takwa kepada-Nya; dan janganlah sekali-kali kamu mati melainkan dalam keadaan beragama Islam.

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Be conscious of God with all the consciousness that is due to Him, and do not allow death to overtake you ere you have surrendered yourselves unto Him.

وَاعْتَصِمُوْا بِحَبْلِ اللّٰهِ جَمِيْعًا وَّلَا تَفَرَّقُوْا ۖوَاذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ اِذْ كُنْتُمْ اَعْدَاۤءً فَاَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوْبِكُمْ فَاَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهٖٓ اِخْوَانًاۚ وَكُنْتُمْ عَلٰى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ النَّارِ فَاَنْقَذَكُمْ مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ ١٠٣

ID Translation Dan berpeganglah kamu semuanya kepada tali (agama) Allah, dan janganlah kamu bercerai berai, dan ingatlah akan nikmat Allah kepadamu ketika kamu dahulu (masa Jahiliyah) bermusuh-musuhan, maka Allah mempersatukan hatimu, lalu menjadilah kamu karena nikmat Allah, orang-orang yang bersaudara; dan kamu telah berada di tepi jurang neraka, lalu Allah menyelamatkan kamu dari padanya. Demikianlah Allah menerangkan ayat-ayat-Nya kepadamu, agar kamu mendapat petunjuk.

EN Translation And hold fast, all together, unto the bond with God, and do not draw apart from one another. And remember the blessings which God has bestowed upon you: how, when you were enemies, He brought your hearts together, so that through His blessing you became brethren; and [how, when] you were on the brink of a fiery abyss. He saved you from it. In this way God makes clear His messages unto you, so that you might find guidance,

وَلْتَكُنْ مِّنْكُمْ اُمَّةٌ يَّدْعُوْنَ اِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ۗ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ١٠٤

ID Translation Dan hendaklah ada di antara kamu segolongan umat yang menyeru kepada kebajikan, menyuruh kepada yang ma'ruf dan mencegah dari yang munkar; merekalah orang-orang yang beruntung.

EN Translation and that there might grow out of you a community [of people] who invite unto all that is good, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong: and it is they, they who shall attain to a happy state!

وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ تَفَرَّقُوْا وَاخْتَلَفُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَاۤءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنٰتُ ۗ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ ۙ ١٠٥

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu menyerupai orang-orang yang bercerai-berai dan berselisih sesudah datang keterangan yang jelas kepada mereka. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang mendapat siksa yang berat,

EN Translation And be not like those who have drawn apart from one another and have taken to conflicting views after all evidence of the truth has come unto them: for these it is for whom tremendous suffering is in store

يَّوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوْهٌ وَّتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوْهٌ ۚ فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْۗ اَ كَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ اِيْمَانِكُمْ فَذُوْقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُوْنَ ١٠٦

ID Translation pada hari yang di waktu itu ada muka yang putih berseri, dan ada pula muka yang hitam muram. Adapun orang-orang yang hitam muram mukanya (kepada mereka dikatakan): "Kenapa kamu kafir sesudah kamu beriman? Karena itu rasakanlah azab disebabkan kekafiranmu itu".

EN Translation on the Day [of Judgment] when some faces will shine [with happiness] and some faces will be dark [with grief]. And as for those with faces darkened, [they shall be told:] "Did you deny the truth after having attained to faith? Taste, then, this suffering for having denied the truth!"

وَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوْهُهُمْ فَفِيْ رَحْمَةِ اللّٰهِ ۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ١٠٧

ID Translation Adapun orang-orang yang putih berseri mukanya, maka mereka berada dalam rahmat Allah (surga); mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation But as for those with faces shining, they shall be within God's grace, therein to abide.

تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ اللّٰهِ نَتْلُوْهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ يُرِيْدُ ظُلْمًا لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ ١٠٨

ID Translation Itulah ayat-ayat Allah. Kami bacakan ayat-ayat itu kepadamu dengan benar; dan tiadalah Allah berkehendak untuk menganiaya hamba-hamba-Nya.

EN Translation These are God's messages: We convey them unto thee, setting forth the truth, since God wills no wrong to His creation.

وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ ۗوَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُوْرُ ١٠٩

ID Translation Kepunyaan Allah-lah segala yang ada di langit dan di bumi; dan kepada Allahlah dikembalikan segala urusan.

EN Translation And unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and all things go back to God [as their source].

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ اُمَّةٍ اُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ۗ وَلَوْ اٰمَنَ اَهْلُ الْكِتٰبِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۗ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ وَاَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ١١٠

ID Translation Kamu adalah umat yang terbaik yang dilahirkan untuk manusia, menyuruh kepada yang ma'ruf, dan mencegah dari yang munkar, dan beriman kepada Allah. Sekiranya Ahli Kitab beriman, tentulah itu lebih baik bagi mereka, di antara mereka ada yang beriman, dan kebanyakan mereka adalah orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation YOU ARE indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [the good of] mankind: you enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and you believe in God. Now if the followers of earlier revelation had attained to [this kind of] faith, it would have been for their own good; [but only few] among them are believers, while most of them are iniquitous:

لَنْ يَّضُرُّوْكُمْ اِلَّآ اَذًىۗ وَاِنْ يُّقَاتِلُوْكُمْ يُوَلُّوْكُمُ الْاَدْبَارَۗ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُوْنَ ١١١

ID Translation Mereka sekali-kali tidak akan dapat membuat mudharat kepada kamu, selain dari gangguan-gangguan celaan saja, dan jika mereka berperang dengan kamu, pastilah mereka berbalik melarikan diri ke belakang (kalah). Kemudian mereka tidak mendapat pertolongan.

EN Translation [but] these can never inflict more than a passing hurt on you; and if they fight against you, they will turn their backs upon you [in flight], and will not be succoured.

ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ اَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوْٓا اِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاۤءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ الْاَنْبِۢيَاۤءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۗ ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَّكَانُوْا يَعْتَدُوْنَ ١١٢

ID Translation Mereka diliputi kehinaan di mana saja mereka berada, kecuali jika mereka berpegang kepada tali (agama) Allah dan tali (perjanjian) dengan manusia, dan mereka kembali mendapat kemurkaan dari Allah dan mereka diliputi kerendahan. Yang demikian itu karena mereka kafir kepada ayat-ayat Allah dan membunuh para nabi tanpa alasan yang benar. Yang demikian itu disebabkan mereka durhaka dan melampaui batas.

EN Translation Overshadowed by ignominy are they wherever they may be, save [when they bind themselves again] in a bond with God and a bond with men; for they have earned the burden of God's condemnation, and are overshadowed by humiliation: all this [has befallen them] because they persisted in denying the truth of God's messages and in slaying the prophets against all right: all this, because they rebelled [against God], and persisted in transgressing the bounds of what is right.

۞ لَيْسُوْا سَوَاۤءً ۗ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ اُمَّةٌ قَاۤىِٕمَةٌ يَّتْلُوْنَ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ اٰنَاۤءَ الَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُوْنَ ١١٣

ID Translation Mereka itu tidak sama; di antara Ahli Kitab itu ada golongan yang berlaku lurus, mereka membaca ayat-ayat Allah pada beberapa waktu di malam hari, sedang mereka juga bersujud (sembahyang).

EN Translation [But] they are not all alike: among the followers of earlier revelation there are upright people, who recite God's messages throughout the night, and prostrate themselves [before Him].

يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُوْنَ فِى الْخَيْرٰتِۗ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ١١٤

ID Translation Mereka beriman kepada Allah dan hari penghabisan, mereka menyuruh kepada yang ma'ruf, dan mencegah dari yang munkar dan bersegera kepada (mengerjakan) pelbagai kebajikan; mereka itu termasuk orang-orang yang saleh.

EN Translation They believe in God and the Last Day, and enjoin the doing of what is right and forbid the doing of what is wrong, and vie with one another in doing good works: and these are among the righteous.

وَمَا يَفْعَلُوْا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ يُّكْفَرُوْهُ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِالْمُتَّقِيْنَ ١١٥

ID Translation Dan apa saja kebajikan yang mereka kerjakan, maka sekali-kali mereka tidak dihalangi (menenerima pahala)nya; dan Allah Maha Mengetahui orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation And whatever good they do, they shall never be denied the reward thereof: for, God has full knowledge of those who are conscious of Him.

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔا ۗ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ١١٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang kafir baik harta mereka maupun anak-anak mereka, sekali-kali tidak dapat menolak azab Allah dari mereka sedikitpun. Dan mereka adalah penghuni neraka; mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation [But,] behold, as for those who are bent on denying the truth - neither their worldly possessions nor their children will in the least avail them against God: and it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide.

مَثَلُ مَا يُنْفِقُوْنَ فِيْ هٰذِهِ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيْحٍ فِيْهَا صِرٌّ اَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فَاَهْلَكَتْهُ ۗ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَلٰكِنْ اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ ١١٧

ID Translation Perumpamaan harta yang mereka nafkahkan di dalam kehidupan dunia ini, adalah seperti perumpamaan angin yang mengandung hawa yang sangat dingin, yang menimpa tanaman kaum yang menganiaya diri sendiri, lalu angin itu merusaknya. Allah tidak menganiaya mereka, akan tetapi merekalah yang menganiaya diri mereka sendiri.

EN Translation The parable of what they spend on the life of this world is that of an icy wind which smites the tilth of people who have sinned against themselves, and destroys it: for, it is not God who does them wrong, but it is they who are wronging themselves.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوْا بِطَانَةً مِّنْ دُوْنِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُوْنَكُمْ خَبَالًاۗ وَدُّوْا مَا عَنِتُّمْۚ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاۤءُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْۖ وَمَا تُخْفِيْ صُدُوْرُهُمْ اَكْبَرُ ۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْاٰيٰتِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ ١١٨

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu ambil menjadi teman kepercayaanmu orang-orang yang, di luar kalanganmu (karena) mereka tidak henti-hentinya (menimbulkan) kemudharatan bagimu. Mereka menyukai apa yang menyusahkan kamu. Telah nyata kebencian dari mulut mereka, dan apa yang disembunyikan oleh hati mereka adalah lebih besar lagi. Sungguh telah Kami terangkan kepadamu ayat-ayat (Kami), jika kamu memahaminya.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not take for your bosom-friends people who are not of your kind. They spare no effort to corrupt you; they would love to see you in distress. Vehement hatred has already come into the open from out of their mouths, but what their hearts conceal is yet worse. We have indeed made the signs [thereof] clear unto you, if you would but use your reason.

هٰٓاَنْتُمْ اُولَاۤءِ تُحِبُّوْنَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّوْنَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْكِتٰبِ كُلِّهٖۚ وَاِذَا لَقُوْكُمْ قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّاۖ وَاِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوْا عَلَيْكُمُ الْاَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۗ قُلْ مُوْتُوْا بِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ١١٩

ID Translation Beginilah kamu, kamu menyukai mereka, padahal mereka tidak menyukai kamu, dan kamu beriman kepada kitab-kitab semuanya. Apabila mereka menjumpai kamu, mereka berkata "Kami beriman", dan apabila mereka menyendiri, mereka menggigit ujung jari antaran marah bercampur benci terhadap kamu. Katakanlah (kepada mereka): "Matilah kamu karena kemarahanmu itu". Sesungguhnya Allah mengetahui segala isi hati.

EN Translation Lo! It is you who [are prepared to] love them, but they will not love you, although you believe in all of the revelation. And when they meet you, they assert, "We believe [as you believe]"; but when they find themselves alone, they gnaw their fingers in rage against you. Say: "Perish in your rage! Behold, God has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men]!"

اِنْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْۖ وَاِنْ تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَّفْرَحُوْا بِهَا ۗ وَاِنْ تَصْبِرُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ مُحِيْطٌ ١٢٠

ID Translation Jika kamu memperoleh kebaikan, niscaya mereka bersedih hati, tetapi Jika kamu mendapat bencana, mereka bergembira karenanya. Jika kamu bersabar dan bertakwa, niscaya tipu daya mereka sedikitpun tidak mendatangkan kemudharatan kepadamu. Sesungguhnya Allah mengetahui segala apa yang mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation If good fortune comes to you, it grieves them; and if evil befalls you, they rejoice in it. But if you are patient in adversity and conscious of God, their guile cannot harm you at all: for, verily, God encompasses [with His might] all that they do.

وَاِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ اَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ سَمِيْعٌ عَلِيْمٌۙ ١٢١

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika kamu berangkat pada pagi hari dari (rumah) keluargamu akan menempatkan para mukmin pada beberapa tempat untuk berperang. Dan Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui,

EN Translation AND [remember, O Prophet, the day] when thou didst set out from thy home at early morn to place the believers in battle array. And God was all-hearing, all-knowing

اِذْ هَمَّتْ طَّۤاىِٕفَتٰنِ مِنْكُمْ اَنْ تَفْشَلَاۙ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٢٢

ID Translation ketika dua golongan dari padamu ingin (mundur) karena takut, padahal Allah adalah penolong bagi kedua golongan itu. Karena itu hendaklah kepada Allah saja orang-orang mukmin bertawakkal.

EN Translation when two groups from among you were about to lose heart, although God was near unto them and it is in God that the believers must place their trust:

وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَّاَنْتُمْ اَذِلَّةٌ ۚ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ ١٢٣

ID Translation Sungguh Allah telah menolong kamu dalam peperangan Badar, padahal kamu adalah (ketika itu) orang-orang yang lemah. Karena itu bertakwalah kepada Allah, supaya kamu mensyukuri-Nya.

EN Translation for, indeed, God did succour you at Badr, when you were utterly weak. Remain, then, conscious of God, so that you might have cause to be grateful.

اِذْ تَقُوْلُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اَلَنْ يَّكْفِيَكُمْ اَنْ يُّمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلٰثَةِ اٰلَافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ مُنْزَلِيْنَۗ ١٢٤

ID Translation (Ingatlah), ketika kamu mengatakan kepada orang mukmin: "Apakah tidak cukup bagi kamu Allah membantu kamu dengan tiga ribu malaikat yang diturunkan (dari langit)?"

EN Translation [And remember] when thou didst say unto the believers: "Is it not enough for you [to know] that your Sustainer will aid you with three thousand angels sent down [from on high]?

بَلٰٓى ۙاِنْ تَصْبِرُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا وَيَأْتُوْكُمْ مِّنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ اٰلَافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ مُسَوِّمِيْنَ ١٢٥

ID Translation Ya (cukup), jika kamu bersabar dan bersiap-siaga, dan mereka datang menyerang kamu dengan seketika itu juga, niscaya Allah menolong kamu dengan lima ribu Malaikat yang memakai tanda.

EN Translation Nay, but if you are patient in adversity and conscious of Him, and the enemy should fall upon you of a sudden, your Sustainer will aid you with five thousand angels swooping down!"

وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بُشْرٰى لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَىِٕنَّ قُلُوْبُكُمْ بِهٖ ۗ وَمَا النَّصْرُ اِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَكِيْمِۙ ١٢٦

ID Translation Dan Allah tidak menjadikan pemberian bala bantuan itu melainkan sebagai khabar gembira bagi (kemenangan)mu, dan agar tenteram hatimu karenanya. Dan kemenanganmu itu hanyalah dari Allah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation And God ordained this [to be said by His Apostle] only as a glad tiding for you, and that your hearts should thereby be set at rest - since no succour can come from any save God, the Almighty, the Truly Wise -

لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوْا خَاۤىِٕبِيْنَ ١٢٧

ID Translation (Allah menolong kamu dalam perang Badar dan memberi bala bantuan itu) untuk membinasakan segolongan orang-orang yang kafir, atau untuk menjadikan mereka hina, lalu mereka kembali dengan tiada memperoleh apa-apa.

EN Translation [and] that [through you] He might destroy some of those who were bent on denying the truth, and so abase the others that they would withdraw in utter hopelessness.

لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ شَيْءٌ اَوْ يَتُوْبَ عَلَيْهِمْ اَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَاِنَّهُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ ١٢٨

ID Translation Tak ada sedikitpun campur tanganmu dalam urusan mereka itu atau Allah menerima taubat mereka, atau mengazab mereka karena sesungguhnya mereka itu orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation [And] it is in no wise for thee [O Prophet] to decide whether He shall accept their repentance or chastise them - for, behold, they are but wrongdoers,

وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٢٩

ID Translation Kepunyaan Allah apa yang ada di langit dan yang ada di bumi. Dia memberi ampun kepada siapa yang Dia kehendaki; Dia menyiksa siapa yang Dia kehendaki, dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation whereas unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth: He forgives whom He wills, and He chastises whom He wills; and God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبٰوٓا اَضْعَافًا مُّضٰعَفَةً ۖوَّاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَۚ ١٣٠

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu memakan riba dengan berlipat ganda] dan bertakwalah kamu kepada Allah supaya kamu mendapat keberuntungan.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not gorge yourselves on usury, doubling and re-doubling it - but remain conscious of God, so that you might attain to a happy state;

وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِيْٓ اُعِدَّتْ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ۚ ١٣١

ID Translation Dan peliharalah dirimu dari api neraka, yang disediakan untuk orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation and beware of the fire which awaits those who deny the truth!

وَاَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُوْلَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَۚ ١٣٢

ID Translation Dan taatilah Allah dan Rasul, supaya kamu diberi rahmat.

EN Translation And pay heed unto God and the Apostle, so that you might be graced with mercy.

۞ وَسَارِعُوْٓا اِلٰى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمٰوٰتُ وَالْاَرْضُۙ اُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَۙ ١٣٣

ID Translation Dan bersegeralah kamu kepada ampunan dari Tuhanmu dan kepada surga yang luasnya seluas langit dan bumi yang disediakan untuk orang-orang yang bertakwa,

EN Translation And vie with one another to attain to your Sustainer's forgiveness and to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for the God-conscious

الَّذِيْنَ يُنْفِقُوْنَ فِى السَّرَّۤاءِ وَالضَّرَّۤاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِيْنَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِيْنَ عَنِ النَّاسِۗ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَۚ ١٣٤

ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang menafkahkan (hartanya), baik di waktu lapang maupun sempit, dan orang-orang yang menahan amarahnya dan memaafkan (kesalahan) orang. Allah menyukai orang-orang yang berbuat kebajikan.

EN Translation who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good;

وَالَّذِيْنَ اِذَا فَعَلُوْا فَاحِشَةً اَوْ ظَلَمُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوْا لِذُنُوْبِهِمْۗ وَمَنْ يَّغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ ۗ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوْا عَلٰى مَا فَعَلُوْا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٣٥

ID Translation Dan (juga) orang-orang yang apabila mengerjakan perbuatan keji atau menganiaya diri sendiri, mereka ingat akan Allah, lalu memohon ampun terhadap dosa-dosa mereka dan siapa lagi yang dapat mengampuni dosa selain dari pada Allah? Dan mereka tidak meneruskan perbuatan kejinya itu, sedang mereka mengetahui.

EN Translation and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done.

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ جَزَاۤؤُهُمْ مَّغْفِرَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ وَجَنّٰتٌ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا ۗ وَنِعْمَ اَجْرُ الْعٰمِلِيْنَۗ ١٣٦

ID Translation Mereka itu balasannya ialah ampunan dari Tuhan mereka dan surga yang di dalamnya mengalir sungai-sungai, sedang mereka kekal di dalamnya; dan itulah sebaik-baik pahala orang-orang yang beramal.

EN Translation These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour!

قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌۙ فَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ ١٣٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya telah berlalu sebelum kamu sunnah-sunnah Allah; Karena itu berjalanlah kamu di muka bumi dan perhatikanlah bagaimana akibat orang-orang yang mendustakan (rasul-rasul).

EN Translation [MANY] WAYS of life have passed away before your time. Go, then, about the earth and behold what happened in the end to those who gave the lie to the truth:

هٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَّمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ١٣٨

ID Translation (Al Quran) ini adalah penerangan bagi seluruh manusia, dan petunjuk serta pelajaran bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation this [should be] a clear lesson unto all men, and a guidance and an admonition unto the God-conscious.

وَلَا تَهِنُوْا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوْا وَاَنْتُمُ الْاَعْلَوْنَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٣٩

ID Translation Janganlah kamu bersikap lemah, dan janganlah (pula) kamu bersedih hati, padahal kamulah orang-orang yang paling tinggi (derajatnya), jika kamu orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers.

اِنْ يَّمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهٗ ۗوَتِلْكَ الْاَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِۚ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَاۤءَ ۗوَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيْنَۙ ١٤٠

ID Translation Jika kamu (pada perang Uhud) mendapat luka, maka sesungguhnya kaum (kafir) itupun (pada perang Badar) mendapat luka yang serupa. Dan masa (kejayaan dan kehancuran) itu Kami pergilirkan diantara manusia (agar mereka mendapat pelajaran); dan supaya Allah membedakan orang-orang yang beriman (dengan orang-orang kafir) supaya sebagian kamu dijadikan-Nya (gugur sebagai) syuhada'. Dan Allah tidak menyukai orang-orang yang zalim,

EN Translation If misfortune touches you, [know that] similar misfortune has touched [other] people as well; for it is by turns that We apportion unto men such days [of fortune and misfortune]: and [this] to the end that God might mark out those who have attained to faith, and choose from among you such as [with their lives] bear witness to the truth - since God does not love evildoers -

وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ١٤١

ID Translation Dan agar Allah membersihkan orang-orang yang beriman (dari dosa mereka) dan membinasakan orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation and that God might render pure of all dross those who have attained to faith, and bring to nought those who deny the truth.

اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ جَاهَدُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ١٤٢

ID Translation Apakah kamu mengira bahwa kamu akan masuk surga, padahal belum nyata bagi Allah orang-orang yang berjihad diantaramu dan belum nyata orang-orang yang sabar.

EN Translation Do you think that you could enter paradise unless God takes cognizance of your having striven hard [in His cause], and takes cognizance of your having been patient in adversity?

وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَلْقَوْهُۖ فَقَدْ رَاَيْتُمُوْهُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ ١٤٣

ID Translation Sesungguhnya kamu mengharapkan mati (syahid) sebelum kamu menghadapinya; (sekarang) sungguh kamu telah melihatnya dan kamu menyaksikannya.

EN Translation For, indeed, you did long for death [in God’s cause] before you came face to face with it; and now you have seen it with your own eyes!

وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُوْلٌۚ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ ۗ اَفَا۟ىِٕنْ مَّاتَ اَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَّنْقَلِبْ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَّضُرَّ اللّٰهَ شَيْـًٔا ۗوَسَيَجْزِى اللّٰهُ الشّٰكِرِيْنَ ١٤٤

ID Translation Muhammad itu tidak lain hanyalah seorang rasul, sungguh telah berlalu sebelumnya beberapa orang rasul. Apakah Jika dia wafat atau dibunuh kamu berbalik ke belakang (murtad)? Barangsiapa yang berbalik ke belakang, maka ia tidak dapat mendatangkan mudharat kepada Allah sedikitpun, dan Allah akan memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang bersyukur.

EN Translation AND MUHAMMAD is only an apostle; all the [other] apostles have passed away before him: if, then, he dies or is slain, will you turn about on your heels? But he that turns about on his heels can in no wise harm God - whereas God will requite all who are grateful [to Him].

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ اَنْ تَمُوْتَ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ كِتٰبًا مُّؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَنْ يُّرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهٖ مِنْهَاۚ وَمَنْ يُّرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْاٰخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهٖ مِنْهَا ۗ وَسَنَجْزِى الشّٰكِرِيْنَ ١٤٥

ID Translation Sesuatu yang bernyawa tidak akan mati melainkan dengan izin Allah, sebagai ketetapan yang telah ditentukan waktunya. Barang siapa menghendaki pahala dunia, niscaya Kami berikan kepadanya pahala dunia itu, dan barang siapa menghendaki pahala akhirat, Kami berikan (pula) kepadanya pahala akhirat itu. Dan kami akan memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang bersyukur.

EN Translation And no human being can die save by God's leave, at a term pre-ordained. And if one desires the rewards of this world, We shall grant him thereof; and if one desires the rewards of the life to come, We shall grant him thereof; and We shall requite those who are grateful [to Us].

وَكَاَيِّنْ مِّنْ نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَۙ مَعَهٗ رِبِّيُّوْنَ كَثِيْرٌۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوْا لِمَآ اَصَابَهُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوْا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوْا ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ١٤٦

ID Translation Dan berapa banyaknya nabi yang berperang bersama-sama mereka sejumlah besar dari pengikut(nya) yang bertakwa. Mereka tidak menjadi lemah karena bencana yang menimpa mereka di jalan Allah, dan tidak lesu dan tidak (pula) menyerah (kepada musuh). Allah menyukai orang-orang yang sabar.

EN Translation And how many a prophet has had to fight [in God's cause], followed by many God-devoted men: and they did not become faint of heart for all that they had to suffer in God's cause, and neither did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves [before the enemy], since God loves those who are patient in adversity;

وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوْا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَاِسْرَافَنَا فِيْٓ اَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ١٤٧

ID Translation Tidak ada doa mereka selain ucapan: "Ya Tuhan kami, ampunilah dosa-dosa kami dan tindakan-tindakan kami yang berlebih-lebihan dalam urusan kami dan tetapkanlah pendirian kami, dan tolonglah kami terhadap kaum yang kafir".

EN Translation and all that they said was this: "O our Sustainer! Forgive us our sins and the lack of moderation in our doings! And make firm our steps, and succour us against people who deny the truth!" -

فَاٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْاٰخِرَةِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ١٤٨

ID Translation Karena itu Allah memberikan kepada mereka pahala di dunia dan pahala yang baik di akhirat. Dan Allah menyukai orang-orang yang berbuat kebaikan.

EN Translation whereupon God granted them the rewards of this world, as well as the goodliest rewards of the life to come: for God loves the doers of good.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنْ تُطِيْعُوا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يَرُدُّوْكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوْا خٰسِرِيْنَ ١٤٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jika kamu mentaati orang-orang yang kafir itu, niscaya mereka mengembalikan kamu ke belakang (kepada kekafiran), lalu jadilah kamu orang-orang yang rugi.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! If you pay heed to those who are bent on denying the truth, they will cause you to turn back on your heels, and you will be the losers.

بَلِ اللّٰهُ مَوْلٰىكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النّٰصِرِيْنَ ١٥٠

ID Translation Tetapi (ikutilah Allah), Allahlah Pelindungmu, dan Dialah sebaik-baik Penolong.

EN Translation Nay, but God alone is your Lord Supreme, and His is the best succour.

سَنُلْقِيْ فِيْ قُلُوْبِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَٓا اَشْرَكُوْا بِاللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهٖ سُلْطٰنًا ۚ وَمَأْوٰىهُمُ النَّارُ ۗ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ١٥١

ID Translation Akan Kami masukkan ke dalam hati orang-orang kafir rasa takut, disebabkan mereka mempersekutukan Allah dengan sesuatu yang Allah sendiri tidak menurunkan keterangan tentang itu. Tempat kembali mereka ialah neraka; dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat tinggal orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation Into the hearts of those who are bent on denying the truth We shall cast dread in return for their ascribing divinity, side by side with God, to other beings - [something] for which He has never bestowed any warrant from on high; and their goal is the fire - and how evil that abode of evildoers!

وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهٗٓ اِذْ تَحُسُّوْنَهُمْ بِاِذْنِهٖ ۚ حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِى الْاَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَآ اَرٰىكُمْ مَّا تُحِبُّوْنَ ۗ مِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّرِيْدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَّنْ يُّرِيْدُ الْاٰخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٥٢

ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Allah telah memenuhi janji-Nya kepada kamu, ketika kamu membunuh mereka dengan izin-Nya sampai pada saat kamu lemah dan berselisih dalam urusan itu dan mendurhakai perintah (Rasul) sesudah Allah memperlihatkan kepadamu apa yang kamu sukai. Di antaramu ada orang yang menghendaki dunia dan diantara kamu ada orang yang menghendaki akhirat. Kemudian Allah memalingkan kamu dari mereka untuk menguji kamu, dan sesunguhnya Allah telah memaafkan kamu. Dan Allah mempunyai karunia (yang dilimpahkan) atas orang orang yang beriman.

EN Translation AND, INDEED, God made good His promise unto you when, by His leave, you were about to destroy your foes - until the moment when you lost heart and acted contrary to the [Prophet's] command, and disobeyed after He had brought you within view of that [victory] for which you were longing. There were among you such as cared for this world [alone], just as there were among you such as cared for the life to come: whereupon, in order that He might put you to a test, He prevented you from defeating your foes. But now He has effaced your sin: for God is limitless in His bounty unto the believers.

۞ اِذْ تُصْعِدُوْنَ وَلَا تَلْوٗنَ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ وَّالرَّسُوْلُ يَدْعُوْكُمْ فِيْٓ اُخْرٰىكُمْ فَاَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا ۢبِغَمٍّ لِّكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوْا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَآ اَصَابَكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ خَبِيْرٌ ۢبِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٥٣

ID Translation (Ingatlah) ketika kamu lari dan tidak menoleh kepada seseorangpun, sedang Rasul yang berada di antara kawan-kawanmu yang lain memanggil kamu, karena itu Allah menimpakan atas kamu kesedihan atas kesedihan, supaya kamu jangan bersedih hati terhadap apa yang luput dari pada kamu dan terhadap apa yang menimpa kamu. Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation [Remember the time] when you fled, paying no heed to anyone, while at your rear the Apostle was calling out to you - wherefore He requited you with woe in return for [the Apostle's] woe, so that you should not grieve [merely] over what had escaped you, nor over what had befallen you: for God is aware of all that you do.

ثُمَّ اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ اَمَنَةً نُّعَاسًا يَّغْشٰى طَۤاىِٕفَةً مِّنْكُمْ ۙ وَطَۤاىِٕفَةٌ قَدْ اَهَمَّتْهُمْ اَنْفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ۗ يَقُوْلُوْنَ هَلْ لَّنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۗ قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَمْرَ كُلَّهٗ لِلّٰهِ ۗ يُخْفُوْنَ فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ مَّا لَا يُبْدُوْنَ لَكَ ۗ يَقُوْلُوْنَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَّا قُتِلْنَا هٰهُنَا ۗ قُلْ لَّوْ كُنْتُمْ فِيْ بُيُوْتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِيْنَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ اِلٰى مَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۚ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللّٰهُ مَا فِيْ صُدُوْرِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِيْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ١٥٤

ID Translation Kemudian setelah kamu berdukacita, Allah menurunkan kepada kamu keamanan (berupa) kantuk yang meliputi segolongan dari pada kamu, sedang segolongan lagi telah dicemaskan oleh diri mereka sendiri, mereka menyangka yang tidak benar terhadap Allah seperti sangkaan jahiliyah. Mereka berkata: "Apakah ada bagi kita barang sesuatu (hak campur tangan) dalam urusan ini?". Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya urusan itu seluruhnya di tangan Allah". Mereka menyembunyikan dalam hati mereka apa yang tidak mereka terangkan kepadamu; mereka berkata: "Sekiranya ada bagi kita barang sesuatu (hak campur tangan) dalam urusan ini, niscaya kita tidak akan dibunuh (dikalahkan) di sini". Katakanlah: "Sekiranya kamu berada di rumahmu, niscaya orang-orang yang telah ditakdirkan akan mati terbunuh itu keluar (juga) ke tempat mereka terbunuh". Dan Allah (berbuat demikian) untuk menguji apa yang ada dalam dadamu dan untuk membersihkan apa yang ada dalam hatimu. Allah Maha Mengetahui isi hati.

EN Translation Then, after this woe, He sent down upon you a sense of security, an inner calm which enfolded some of you, whereas the others, who cared mainly for themselves, entertained wrong thoughts about God - thoughts of pagan ignorance - saying, "Did we, then, have any power of decision [in this matter]?" Say: "Verily, all power of decision does rest with God" - [but as for them,] they are trying to conceal within themselves that [weakness of faith] which they would not reveal unto thee, [O Prophet, by] saying, "If we had any power of decision, we would not have left so many dead behind." Say [unto them]: "Even if you had remained in your homes, those [of you] whose death had been ordained would indeed have gone forth to the places where they were destined to lie down." And [all this befell you] so that God might put to a test all that you harbour in your bosoms, and render your innermost hearts pure of all dross: for God is aware of what is in the hearts [of men].

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعٰنِۙ اِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُوْا ۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ ١٥٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang berpaling di antaramu pada hari bertemu dua pasukan itu, hanya saja mereka digelincirkan oleh syaitan, disebabkan sebagian kesalahan yang telah mereka perbuat (di masa lampau) dan sesungguhnya Allah telah memberi maaf kepada mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyantun.

EN Translation Behold, as for those of you who turned away [from their duty] on the day when the two hosts met in battle - Satan caused them to stumble only by means of something that they [themselves] had done. But now God has effaced this sin of theirs: verily, God is much-forgiving, forbearing.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَقَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ اِذَا ضَرَبُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ اَوْ كَانُوْا غُزًّى لَّوْ كَانُوْا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوْا وَمَا قُتِلُوْاۚ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ ١٥٦

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu seperti orang-orang kafir (orang-orang munafik) itu, yang mengatakan kepada saudara-saudara mereka apabila mereka mengadakan perjalanan di muka bumi atau mereka berperang: "Kalau mereka tetap bersama-sama kita tentulah mereka tidak mati dan tidak dibunuh". Akibat (dari perkataan dan keyakinan mereka) yang demikian itu, Allah menimbulkan rasa penyesalan yang sangat di dalam hati mereka. Allah menghidupkan dan mematikan. Dan Allah melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Be not like those who are bent on denying the truth and say of their brethren [who die] after having set out on a journey to faraway places or gone forth to war, "Had they but remained with us, they would not have died," or, "they would not have been slain" - for God will cause such thoughts to become a source of bitter regret in their hearts, since it is God who grants life and deals death. And God sees all that you do.

وَلَىِٕنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ ١٥٧

ID Translation Dan sungguh kalau kamu gugur di jalan Allah atau meninggal, tentulah ampunan Allah dan rahmat-Nya lebih baik (bagimu) dari harta rampasan yang mereka kumpulkan.

EN Translation And if indeed you are slain or die in God's cause, then surely forgiveness from God and His grace are better than all that one could amass [in this world]:

وَلَىِٕنْ مُّتُّمْ اَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ ١٥٨

ID Translation Dan sungguh jika kamu meninggal atau gugur, tentulah kepada Allah saja kamu dikumpulkan.

EN Translation for, indeed, if you die or are slain, it will surely be unto God that you shall be gathered.

فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيْظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوْا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ ۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِى الْاَمْرِۚ فَاِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِيْنَ ١٥٩

ID Translation Maka disebabkan rahmat dari Allah-lah kamu berlaku lemah lembut terhadap mereka. Sekiranya kamu bersikap keras lagi berhati kasar, tentulah mereka menjauhkan diri dari sekelilingmu. Karena itu maafkanlah mereka, mohonkanlah ampun bagi mereka, dan bermusyawaratlah dengan mereka dalam urusan itu. Kemudian apabila kamu telah membulatkan tekad, maka bertawakkallah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang bertawakkal kepada-Nya.

EN Translation And it was by God's grace that thou [O Prophet] didst deal gently with thy followers: for if thou hadst been harsh and hard of heart, they would indeed have broken away from thee. Pardon them, then, and pray that they be forgiven. And take counsel with them in all matters of public concern; then, when thou hast decided upon a course of action, place thy trust in God: for, verily, God loves those who place their trust in Him.

اِنْ يَّنْصُرْكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۚ وَاِنْ يَّخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ ۗ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٦٠

ID Translation Jika Allah menolong kamu, maka tak adalah orang yang dapat mengalahkan kamu; jika Allah membiarkan kamu (tidak memberi pertolongan), maka siapakah gerangan yang dapat menolong kamu (selain) dari Allah sesudah itu? Karena itu hendaklah kepada Allah saja orang-orang mukmin bertawakkal.

EN Translation If God succours you, none can ever overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who could succour you thereafter? In God, then, let the believers place their trust!

وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ اَنْ يَّغُلَّ ۗوَمَنْ يَّغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفّٰى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ ١٦١

ID Translation Tidak mungkin seorang nabi berkhianat dalam urusan harta rampasan perang. Barangsiapa yang berkhianat dalam urusan rampasan perang itu, maka pada hari kiamat ia akan datang membawa apa yang dikhianatkannya itu, kemudian tiap-tiap diri akan diberi pembalasan tentang apa yang ia kerjakan dengan (pembalasan) setimpal, sedang mereka tidak dianiaya.

EN Translation AND IT IS not conceivable that a prophet should deceive - since he who deceives shall be faced with his deceit on the Day of Resurrection, when every human being shall be repaid in full for whatever he has done, and none shall be wronged.

اَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللّٰهِ كَمَنْۢ بَاۤءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَمَأْوٰىهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۗ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ١٦٢

ID Translation Apakah orang yang mengikuti keridhaan Allah sama dengan orang yang kembali membawa kemurkaan (yang besar) dari Allah dan tempatnya adalah Jahannam? Dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali.

EN Translation Is then he who strives after God's goodly acceptance like unto him who has earned the burden of God's condemnation and whose goal is hell? - and how vile a journey's end!

هُمْ دَرَجٰتٌ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ بَصِيْرٌ ۢبِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦٣

ID Translation (Kedudukan) mereka itu bertingkat-tingkat di sisi Allah, dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation They are on [entirely] different levels in the sight of God; for God sees all that they do.

لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ اِذْ بَعَثَ فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَۚ وَاِنْ كَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ١٦٤

ID Translation Sungguh Allah telah memberi karunia kepada orang-orang yang beriman ketika Allah mengutus diantara mereka seorang rasul dari golongan mereka sendiri, yang membacakan kepada mereka ayat-ayat Allah, membersihkan (jiwa) mereka, dan mengajarkan kepada mereka Al Kitab dan Al Hikmah. Dan sesungguhnya sebelum (kedatangan Nabi) itu, mereka adalah benar-benar dalam kesesatan yang nyata.

EN Translation Indeed, God bestowed a favour upon the believers when he raised up in their midst an apostle from among themselves, to convey His messages unto them, and to cause them to grow in purity, and to impart unto them the divine writ as well as wisdom - whereas before that they were indeed, most obviously, lost in error.

اَوَلَمَّآ اَصَابَتْكُمْ مُّصِيْبَةٌ قَدْ اَصَبْتُمْ مِّثْلَيْهَاۙ قُلْتُمْ اَنّٰى هٰذَا ۗ قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١٦٥

ID Translation Dan mengapa ketika kamu ditimpa musibah (pada peperangan Uhud), padahal kamu telah menimpakan kekalahan dua kali lipat kepada musuh-musuhmu (pada peperangan Badar), kamu berkata: "Darimana datangnya (kekalahan) ini?" Katakanlah: "Itu dari (kesalahan) dirimu sendiri". Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation AND DO YOU, now that a calamity has befallen you after you had inflicted twice as much [on your foes], ask yourselves, "How has this come about?" Say: "It has come from your own selves." Verily, God has the power to will anything:

وَمَآ اَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعٰنِ فَبِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۙ ١٦٦

ID Translation Dan apa yang menimpa kamu pada hari bertemunya dua pasukan, maka (kekalahan) itu adalah dengan izin (takdir) Allah, dan agar Allah mengetahui siapa orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation and all that befell you on the day when the two hosts met in battle happened by God's leave, so that He might mark out the [true] believers,

وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِيْنَ نَافَقُوْا ۖوَقِيْلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَوِ ادْفَعُوْا ۗ قَالُوْا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّاتَّبَعْنٰكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ اَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْاِيْمَانِ ۚ يَقُوْلُوْنَ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ مَّا لَيْسَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُوْنَۚ ١٦٧

ID Translation Dan supaya Allah mengetahui siapa orang-orang yang munafik. Kepada mereka dikatakan: "Marilah berperang di jalan Allah atau pertahankanlah (dirimu)". Mereka berkata: "Sekiranya kami mengetahui akan terjadi peperangan, tentulah kami mengikuti kamu". Mereka pada hari itu lebih dekat kepada kekafiran dari pada keimanan. Mereka mengatakan dengan mulutnya apa yang tidak terkandung dalam hatinya. Dan Allah lebih mengetahui dalam hatinya. Dan Allah lebih mengetahui apa yang mereka sembunyikan.

EN Translation and mark out those who were tainted with hypocrisy and, when they were told, "Come, fight in God's cause" - or, "Defend yourselves" - answered, "If we but knew [that it would come to a] fight, we would indeed follow you." Unto apostasy were they nearer on that day than unto faith, uttering with their mouths something which was not in their hearts, the while God knew fully well what they were trying to conceal:

اَلَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوْا لَوْ اَطَاعُوْنَا مَا قُتِلُوْا ۗ قُلْ فَادْرَءُوْا عَنْ اَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١٦٨

ID Translation Orang-orang yang mengatakan kepada saudara-saudaranya dan mereka tidak turut pergi berperang: "Sekiranya mereka mengikuti kita, tentulah mereka tidak terbunuh". Katakanlah: "Tolaklah kematian itu dari dirimu, jika kamu orang-orang yang benar".

EN Translation they who, having themselves held back [from fighting, later] said of their [slain] brethren, "Had they but paid heed to us, they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert, then, death from yourselves, if what you say is true!"

وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ قُتِلُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَمْوَاتًا ۗ بَلْ اَحْيَاۤءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُوْنَۙ ١٦٩

ID Translation Janganlah kamu mengira bahwa orang-orang yang gugur di jalan Allah itu mati; bahkan mereka itu hidup disisi Tuhannya dengan mendapat rezeki.

EN Translation But do not think of those that have been slain in God's cause as dead. Nay, they are alive! With their Sustainer have they their sustenance,

فَرِحِيْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖۙ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِالَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوْا بِهِمْ مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ۙ اَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَۘ ١٧٠

ID Translation Mereka dalam keadaan gembira disebabkan karunia Allah yang diberikan-Nya kepada mereka, dan mereka bergirang hati terhadap orang-orang yang masih tinggal di belakang yang belum menyusul mereka, bahwa tidak ada kekhawatiran terhadap mereka dan tidak (pula) mereka bersedih hati.

EN Translation exulting in that [martyrdom] which God has bestowed upon them out of His bounty. And they rejoice in the glad tiding given to those [of their brethren] who have been left behind and have not yet joined them, that no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve:

۞ يَسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضْلٍۗ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُضِيْعُ اَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٧١

ID Translation Mereka bergirang hati dengan nikmat dan karunia yang yang besar dari Allah, dan bahwa Allah tidak menyia-nyiakan pahala orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation they rejoice in the glad tiding of God's blessings and bounty, and [in the promise] that God will not fail to requite the believers

اَلَّذِيْنَ اسْتَجَابُوْا لِلّٰهِ وَالرَّسُوْلِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَآ اَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ ۖ لِلَّذِيْنَ اَحْسَنُوْا مِنْهُمْ وَاتَّقَوْا اَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌۚ ١٧٢

ID Translation (Yaitu) orang-orang yang mentaati perintah Allah dan Rasul-Nya sesudah mereka mendapat luka (dalam peperangan Uhud). Bagi orang-orang yang berbuat kebaikan diantara mereka dan yang bertakwa ada pahala yang besar.

EN Translation who responded to the call of God and the Apostle after misfortune had befallen them. A magnificent requital awaits those of them who have persevered in doing good and remained conscious of God:

اَلَّذِيْنَ قَالَ لَهُمُ النَّاسُ اِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوْا لَكُمْ فَاخْشَوْهُمْ فَزَادَهُمْ اِيْمَانًاۖ وَّقَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ ١٧٣

ID Translation (Yaitu) orang-orang (yang mentaati Allah dan Rasul) yang kepada mereka ada orang-orang yang mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya manusia telah mengumpulkan pasukan untuk menyerang kamu, karena itu takutlah kepada mereka", maka perkataan itu menambah keimanan mereka dan mereka menjawab: "Cukuplah Allah menjadi Penolong kami dan Allah adalah sebaik-baik Pelindung".

EN Translation those who have been warned by other people, "Behold, a host has gathered against you; so beware of them!" - whereupon this only increased their faith, so that they answered, "God is enough for us; and how excellent a guardian is He!”

فَانْقَلَبُوْا بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَضْلٍ لَّمْ يَمْسَسْهُمْ سُوْۤءٌۙ وَّاتَّبَعُوْا رِضْوَانَ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَظِيْمٍ ١٧٤

ID Translation Maka mereka kembali dengan nikmat dan karunia (yang besar) dari Allah, mereka tidak mendapat bencana apa-apa, mereka mengikuti keridhaan Allah. Dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar.

EN Translation - and returned [from the battle] with God's blessings and bounty, without having been touched by evil: for they had been striving after God's goodly acceptance - and God is limitless in His great bounty.

اِنَّمَا ذٰلِكُمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ يُخَوِّفُ اَوْلِيَاۤءَهٗۖ فَلَا تَخَافُوْهُمْ وَخَافُوْنِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٧٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya mereka itu tidak lain hanyalah syaitan yang menakut-nakuti (kamu) dengan kawan-kawannya (orang-orang musyrik Quraisy), karena itu janganlah kamu takut kepada mereka, tetapi takutlah kepada-Ku, jika kamu benar-benar orang yang beriman.

EN Translation It is but Satan who instils [into you] fear of his allies: so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [truly] believers!

وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذِيْنَ يُسَارِعُوْنَ فِى الْكُفْرِۚ اِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَّضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـًٔا ۗ يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَلَّا يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌۚ ١٧٦

ID Translation Janganlah kamu disedihkan oleh orang-orang yang segera menjadi kafir; sesungguhnya mereka tidak sekali-kali dapat memberi mudharat kepada Allah sedikitpun. Allah berkehendak tidak akan memberi sesuatu bahagian (dari pahala) kepada mereka di hari akhirat, dan bagi mereka azab yang besar.

EN Translation And be not grieved by those who vie with one another in denying the truth: verily, they can in no wise harm God. It is God's will that they shall have no share in the [blessings of the] life to come; and tremendous suffering awaits them.

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الْكُفْرَ بِالْاِيْمَانِ لَنْ يَّضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيْـًٔاۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ١٧٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menukar iman dengan kekafiran, sekali-kali mereka tidak dapat memberi mudharat kepada Allah sedikitpun; dan bagi mereka azab yang pedih.

EN Translation Verily, they who have bought a denial of the truth at the price of faith can in no wise harm God, whereas grievous suffering awaits them.

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اَنَّمَا نُمْلِيْ لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّاَنْفُسِهِمْ ۗ اِنَّمَا نُمْلِيْ لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوْٓا اِثْمًا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ١٧٨

ID Translation Dan janganlah sekali-kali orang-orang kafir menyangka, bahwa pemberian tangguh Kami kepada mereka adalah lebih baik bagi mereka. Sesungguhnya Kami memberi tangguh kepada mereka hanyalah supaya bertambah-tambah dosa mereka; dan bagi mereka azab yang menghinakan.

EN Translation And they should not think - they who are bent on denying the truth - that Our giving them rein is good for them: We give them rein only to let them grow in sinfulness; and shameful suffering awaits them.

مَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ عَلٰى مَآ اَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتّٰى يَمِيْزَ الْخَبِيْثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَجْتَبِيْ مِنْ رُّسُلِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۖ فَاٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖ ۚ وَاِنْ تُؤْمِنُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا فَلَكُمْ اَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ ١٧٩

ID Translation Allah sekali-kali tidak akan membiarkan orang-orang yang beriman dalam keadaan kamu sekarang ini, sehingga Dia menyisihkan yang buruk (munafik) dari yang baik (mukmin). Dan Allah sekali-kali tidak akan memperlihatkan kepada kamu hal-hal yang ghaib, akan tetapi Allah memilih siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya di antara rasul-rasul-Nya. Karena itu berimanlah kepada Allah dan rasul-rasul-Nya; dan jika kamu beriman dan bertakwa, maka bagimu pahala yang besar.

EN Translation It is not God's will [O you who deny the truth] to abandon the believers to your way of life: [and] to that end He will set apart the bad from the good. And it is not God's will to give you insight into that which is beyond the reach of human perception: but [to that end] God elects whomsoever He wills from among His apostles. Believe, then, in God and His apostles; for if you believe and are conscious of Him, a magnificent requital awaits you.

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ هُوَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۗ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّ لَّهُمْ ۗ سَيُطَوَّقُوْنَ مَا بَخِلُوْا بِهٖ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ وَلِلّٰهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ١٨٠

ID Translation Sekali-kali janganlah orang-orang yang bakhil dengan harta yang Allah berikan kepada mereka dari karunia-Nya menyangka, bahwa kebakhilan itu baik bagi mereka. Sebenarnya kebakhilan itu adalah buruk bagi mereka. Harta yang mereka bakhilkan itu akan dikalungkan kelak di lehernya di hari kiamat. Dan kepunyaan Allah-lah segala warisan (yang ada) di langit dan di bumi. Dan Allah mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation AND THEY should not think - they who niggardly cling to all that God has granted them out of His bounty - that this is good for them: nay, it is bad for them. That to which they [so] niggardly cling will, on the Day of Resurrection, be hung about their necks: for unto God [alone] belongs the heritage of the heavens and of the earth; and God is aware of all that you do.

لَقَدْ سَمِعَ اللّٰهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ فَقِيْرٌ وَّنَحْنُ اَغْنِيَاۤءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوْا وَقَتْلَهُمُ الْاَنْۢبِيَاۤءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۙ وَّنَقُوْلُ ذُوْقُوْا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيْقِ ١٨١

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah mendengar perkatan orang-orang yang mengatakan: "Sesunguhnya Allah miskin dan kami kaya". Kami akan mencatat perkataan mereka itu dan perbuatan mereka membunuh nabi-nabi tanpa alasan yang benar, dan Kami akan mengatakan (kepada mereka): "Rasakanlah olehmu azab yang mem bakar".

EN Translation God has indeed heard the saying of those who said, "Behold, God is poor while we are rich!" We shall record what they have said, as well as their slaying of prophets against all right, and We shall say [unto them on Judgment Day]: "Taste suffering through fire

ذٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَيْدِيْكُمْ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِۚ ١٨٢

ID Translation (Azab) yang demikian itu adalah disebabkan perbuatan tanganmu sendiri, dan bahwasanya Allah sekali-kali tidak menganiaya hamba-hamba-Nya.

EN Translation in return for what your own hands have wrought - for never does God do the least wrong to His creatures!"

اَلَّذِيْنَ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَهِدَ اِلَيْنَآ اَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُوْلٍ حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ ۗ قُلْ قَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِيْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ وَبِالَّذِيْ قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوْهُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١٨٣

ID Translation (Yaitu) orang-orang (Yahudi) yang mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya Allah telah memerintahkan kepada kami, supaya kami jangan beriman kepada seseorang rasul, sebelum dia mendatangkan kepada kami korban yang dimakan api". Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya telah datang kepada kamu beberapa orang rasul sebelumku membawa keterangan-keterangan yang nyata dan membawa apa yang kamu sebutkan, maka mengapa kamu membunuh mereka jika kamu adalah orang-orang yang benar".

EN Translation As for those who maintain, "Behold, God has bidden us not to believe in any apostle unless he comes unto us with burnt offerings" - say [unto them, O Prophet]: "Even before me there came unto you apostles with all evidence of the truth, and with that whereof you speak: why, then, did you slay them, if what you say is true?"

فَاِنْ كَذَّبُوْكَ فَقَدْ كُذِّبَ رُسُلٌ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ جَاۤءُوْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ وَالزُّبُرِ وَالْكِتٰبِ الْمُنِيْرِ ١٨٤

ID Translation Jika mereka mendustakan kamu, maka sesungguhnya rasul-rasul sebelum kamupun telah didustakan (pula), mereka membawa mukjizat-mukjizat yang nyata, Zabur dan kitab yang memberi penjelasan yang sempurna.

EN Translation And if they give thee the lie - even so, before thy time, have [other] apostles been given the lie when they came with all evidence of the truth, and with books of divine wisdom, and with light-giving revelation.

كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَاۤىِٕقَةُ الْمَوْتِۗ وَاِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ اُجُوْرَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَاُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَآ اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُوْرِ ١٨٥

ID Translation Tiap-tiap yang berjiwa akan merasakan mati. Dan sesungguhnya pada hari kiamat sajalah disempurnakan pahalamu. Barangsiapa dijauhkan dari neraka dan dimasukkan ke dalam surga, maka sungguh ia telah beruntung. Kehidupan dunia itu tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang memperdayakan.

EN Translation Every human being is bound to taste death: but only on the Day of Resurrection will you be requited in full [for whatever you have done] - whereupon he that shall be drawn away from the fire and brought into paradise will indeed have gained a triumph: for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion.

۞ لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِيْٓ اَمْوَالِكُمْ وَاَنْفُسِكُمْۗ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَشْرَكُوْٓا اَذًى كَثِيْرًا ۗ وَاِنْ تَصْبِرُوْا وَتَتَّقُوْا فَاِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْاُمُوْرِ ١٨٦

ID Translation Kamu sungguh-sungguh akan diuji terhadap hartamu dan dirimu. Dan (juga) kamu sungguh-sungguh akan mendengar dari orang-orang yang diberi kitab sebelum kamu dan dari orang-orang yang mempersekutukan Allah, gangguan yang banyak yang menyakitkan hati. Jika kamu bersabar dan bertakwa, maka sesungguhnya yang demikian itu termasuk urusan yang patut diutamakan.

EN Translation You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons; and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings beside God. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him - this, behold, is something to set one's heart upon.

وَاِذْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ مِيْثَاقَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهٗ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُوْنَهٗۖ فَنَبَذُوْهُ وَرَاۤءَ ظُهُوْرِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۗ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُوْنَ ١٨٧

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Allah mengambil janji dari orang-orang yang telah diberi kitab (yaitu): "Hendaklah kamu menerangkan isi kitab itu kepada manusia, dan jangan kamu menyembunyikannya," lalu mereka melemparkan janji itu ke belakang punggung mereka dan mereka menukarnya dengan harga yang sedikit. Amatlah buruknya tukaran yang mereka terima.

EN Translation AND LO, God accepted a solemn pledge from those who were granted earlier revelation [when He bade them]: "Make it known unto mankind, and do not conceal it!" But they cast this [pledge] behind their backs, and bartered it away for a trifling gain: and how evil was their bargain!

لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَفْرَحُوْنَ بِمَآ اَتَوْا وَّيُحِبُّوْنَ اَنْ يُّحْمَدُوْا بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوْا فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ١٨٨

ID Translation Janganlah sekali-kali kamu menyangka, hahwa orang-orang yang gembira dengan apa yang telah mereka kerjakan dan mereka suka supaya dipuji terhadap perbuatan yang belum mereka kerjakan janganlah kamu menyangka bahwa mereka terlepas dari siksa, dan bagi mereka siksa yang pedih.

EN Translation Think not that those who exult in what they have thus contrived, and who love to be praised for what they have not done - think not that they will escape suffering: for grievous suffering does await them [in the life to come].

وَلِلّٰهِ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١٨٩

ID Translation kepunyaan Allah-lah kerajaan langit dan bumi, dan Allah Maha Perkasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation AND UNTO GOD belongs the dominion over the heavens and the earth: and God has the power to will anything.

اِنَّ فِيْ خَلْقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّاُولِى الْاَلْبَابِۙ ١٩٠

ID Translation Sesungguhnya dalam penciptaan langit dan bumi, dan silih bergantinya malam dan siang terdapat tanda-tanda bagi orang-orang yang berakal,

EN Translation Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the succession of night and day, there are indeed messages for all who are endowed with insight,

الَّذِيْنَ يَذْكُرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ قِيَامًا وَّقُعُوْدًا وَّعَلٰى جُنُوْبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ فِيْ خَلْقِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هٰذَا بَاطِلًاۚ سُبْحٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ١٩١

ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang mengingat Allah sambil berdiri atau duduk atau dalam keadan berbaring dan mereka memikirkan tentang penciptaan langit dan bumi (seraya berkata): "Ya Tuhan kami, tiadalah Engkau menciptakan ini dengan sia-sia, Maha Suci Engkau, maka peliharalah kami dari siksa neraka.

EN Translation [and] who remember God when they stand, and when they sit, and when they lie down to sleep, and [thus] reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: "O our Sustainer! Thou hast not created [aught of] this without meaning and purpose. Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! Keep us safe, then, from suffering through fire!

رَبَّنَآ اِنَّكَ مَنْ تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ اَخْزَيْتَهٗ ۗ وَمَا لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ مِنْ اَنْصَارٍ ١٩٢

ID Translation Ya Tuhan kami, sesungguhnya barangsiapa yang Engkau masukkan ke dalam neraka, maka sungguh telah Engkau hinakan ia, dan tidak ada bagi orang-orang yang zalim seorang penolongpun.

EN Translation "O our Sustainer! Whomsoever Thou shalt commit to the fire, him, verily, wilt Thou have brought to disgrace [in this world]; and such evildoers will have none to succour them.

رَبَّنَآ اِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُّنَادِيْ لِلْاِيْمَانِ اَنْ اٰمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاٰمَنَّا ۖرَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّاٰتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْاَبْرَارِۚ ١٩٣

ID Translation Ya Tuhan kami, sesungguhnya kami mendengar (seruan) yang menyeru kepada iman, (yaitu): "Berimanlah kamu kepada Tuhanmu", maka kamipun beriman. Ya Tuhan kami, ampunilah bagi kami dosa-dosa kami dan hapuskanlah dari kami kesalahan-kesalahan kami, dan wafatkanlah kami beserta orang-orang yang banyak berbakti.

EN Translation "O our Sustainer! Behold, we heard a voice call [us] unto faith, `Believe in your Sustainer!' - and so we came to believe. O our Sustainer! Forgive us, then, our sins, and efface our bad deeds; and let us die the death of the truly virtuous!

رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَّنَا عَلٰى رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۗ اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيْعَادَ ١٩٤

ID Translation Ya Tuhan kami, berilah kami apa yang telah Engkau janjikan kepada kami dengan perantaraan rasul-rasul Engkau. Dan janganlah Engkau hinakan kami di hari kiamat. Sesungguhnya Engkau tidak menyalahi janji".

EN Translation "And, O our Sustainer, grant us that which Thou hast promised us through Thy apostles, and disgrace us not on Resurrection Day! Verily, Thou never failest to fulfil Thy promise!"

فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ اَنِّيْ لَآ اُضِيْعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِّنْكُمْ مِّنْ ذَكَرٍ اَوْ اُنْثٰى ۚ بَعْضُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْضٍ ۚ فَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوْا وَاُخْرِجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَاُوْذُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِيْ وَقٰتَلُوْا وَقُتِلُوْا لَاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ وَلَاُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُۚ ثَوَابًا مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عِنْدَهٗ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ ١٩٥

ID Translation Maka Tuhan mereka memperkenankan permohonannya (dengan berfirman): "Sesungguhnya Aku tidak menyia-nyiakan amal orang-orang yang beramal di antara kamu, baik laki-laki atau perempuan, (karena) sebagian kamu adalah turunan dari sebagian yang lain. Maka orang-orang yang berhijrah, yang diusir dari kampung halamannya, yang disakiti pada jalan-Ku, yang berperang dan yang dibunuh, pastilah akan Ku-hapuskan kesalahan-kesalahan mereka dan pastilah Aku masukkan mereka ke dalam surga yang mengalir sungai-sungai di bawahnya, sebagai pahala di sisi Allah. Dan Allah pada sisi-Nya pahala yang baik".

EN Translation And thus does their Sustainer answer their prayer: "I shall not lose sight of the labour of any of you who labours [in My way], be it man or woman: each of you is an issue of the other. Hence, as for those who forsake the domain of evil, and are driven from their homelands, and suffer hurt in My cause, and fight [for it], and are slain - I shall most certainly efface their bad deeds, and shall most certainly bring them into gardens through which running waters flow, as a reward from God: for with God is the most beauteous of rewards."

لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِى الْبِلَادِۗ ١٩٦

ID Translation Janganlah sekali-kali kamu terperdaya oleh kebebasan orang-orang kafir bergerak di dalam negeri.

EN Translation LET IT NOT deceive thee that those who are bent on denying the truth seem to be able to do as they please on earth:

مَتَاعٌ قَلِيْلٌ ۗ ثُمَّ مَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۗوَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ ١٩٧

ID Translation Itu hanyalah kesenangan sementara, kemudian tempat tinggal mereka ialah Jahannam; dan Jahannam itu adalah tempat yang seburuk-buruknya.

EN Translation it is [but] a brief enjoyment, with hell thereafter as their goal - and how vile a resting-place! -

لٰكِنِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْا رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٌ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا نُزُلًا مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ لِّلْاَبْرَارِ ١٩٨

ID Translation Akan tetapi orang-orang yang bertakwa kepada Tuhannya, bagi mereka surga yang mengalir sungai-sungai di dalamnya, sedang mereka kekal di dalamnya sebagai tempat tinggal (anugerah) dari sisi Allah. Dan apa yang di sisi Allah adalah lebih baik bagi orang-orang yang berbakti.

EN Translation whereas those who remain conscious of their Sustainer shall have gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: a ready welcome from God. And that which is with God is best for the truly virtuous.

وَاِنَّ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَمَنْ يُّؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْهِمْ خٰشِعِيْنَ لِلّٰهِ ۙ لَا يَشْتَرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَرِيْعُ الْحِسَابِ ١٩٩

ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya diantara ahli kitab ada orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan kepada apa yang diturunkan kepada kamu dan yang diturunkan kepada mereka sedang mereka berendah hati kepada Allah dan mereka tidak menukarkan ayat-ayat Allah dengan harga yang sedikit. Mereka memperoleh pahala di sisi Tuhannya. Sesungguhnya Allah amat cepat perhitungan-Nya.

EN Translation And, behold, among the followers of earlier revelation there are indeed such as [truly] believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon you as well as in that which has been bestowed upon them. Standing in awe of God, they do not barter away God's messages for a trifling gain. They shall have their reward with their Sustainer - for, behold, God is swift in reckoning!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اصْبِرُوْا وَصَابِرُوْا وَرَابِطُوْاۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ٢٠٠

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bersabarlah kamu dan kuatkanlah kesabaranmu dan tetaplah bersiap siaga (di perbatasan negerimu) dan bertakwalah kepada Allah, supaya kamu beruntung.

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Be patient in adversity, and vie in patience with one another, and be ever ready [to do what is right], and remain conscious of God, so that you might attain to a happy state!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوْا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ مِّنْ نَّفْسٍ وَّاحِدَةٍ وَّخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالًا كَثِيْرًا وَّنِسَاۤءً ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ تَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ بِهٖ وَالْاَرْحَامَ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيْبًا ١

ID Translation Hai sekalian manusia, bertakwalah kepada Tuhan-mu yang telah menciptakan kamu dari seorang diri, dan dari padanya Allah menciptakan isterinya; dan dari pada keduanya Allah memperkembang biakkan laki-laki dan perempuan yang banyak. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah yang dengan (mempergunakan) nama-Nya kamu saling meminta satu sama lain, dan (peliharalah) hubungan silaturrahim. Sesungguhnya Allah selalu menjaga dan mengawasi kamu.

EN Translation O MANKIND! Be conscious of your Sustainer, who has created you out of one living entity, and out of it created its mate, and out of the two spread abroad a multitude of men and women. And remain conscious of God, in whose name you demand [your rights] from one another, and of these ties of kinship. Verily, God is ever watchful over you!

وَاٰتُوا الْيَتٰمٰىٓ اَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلَا تَتَبَدَّلُوا الْخَبِيْثَ بِالطَّيِّبِ ۖ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوْٓا اَمْوَالَهُمْ اِلٰٓى اَمْوَالِكُمْ ۗ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ حُوْبًا كَبِيْرًا ٢

ID Translation Dan berikanlah kepada anak-anak yatim (yang sudah balig) harta mereka, jangan kamu menukar yang baik dengan yang buruk dan jangan kamu makan harta mereka bersama hartamu. Sesungguhnya tindakan-tindakan (menukar dan memakan) itu, adalah dosa yang besar.

EN Translation Hence, render unto the orphans their posses­sions, and do not substitute bad things [of your own] for the good things [that belong to them], and do not consume their possessions together with your own: this, verily, is a great crime.

وَاِنْ خِفْتُمْ اَلَّا تُقْسِطُوْا فِى الْيَتٰمٰى فَانْكِحُوْا مَا طَابَ لَكُمْ مِّنَ النِّسَاۤءِ مَثْنٰى وَثُلٰثَ وَرُبٰعَ ۚ فَاِنْ خِفْتُمْ اَلَّا تَعْدِلُوْا فَوَاحِدَةً اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ ۗ ذٰلِكَ اَدْنٰٓى اَلَّا تَعُوْلُوْاۗ ٣

ID Translation Dan jika kamu takut tidak akan dapat berlaku adil terhadap (hak-hak) perempuan yang yatim (bilamana kamu mengawininya), maka kawinilah wanita-wanita (lain) yang kamu senangi: dua, tiga atau empat. Kemudian jika kamu takut tidak akan dapat berlaku adil, maka (kawinilah) seorang saja, atau budak-budak yang kamu miliki. Yang demikian itu adalah lebih dekat kepada tidak berbuat aniaya.

EN Translation And if you have reason to fear that you might not act equitably towards orphans, then marry from among [other] women such as are lawful to you - [even] two, or three, or four: but if you have reason to fear that you might not be able to treat them with equal fairness, then [only] one - or [from among] those whom you rightfully possess. This will make it more likely that you will not deviate from the right course.

وَاٰتُوا النِّسَاۤءَ صَدُقٰتِهِنَّ نِحْلَةً ۗ فَاِنْ طِبْنَ لَكُمْ عَنْ شَيْءٍ مِّنْهُ نَفْسًا فَكُلُوْهُ هَنِيْۤـًٔا مَّرِيْۤـًٔا ٤

ID Translation Berikanlah maskawin (mahar) kepada wanita (yang kamu nikahi) sebagai pemberian dengan penuh kerelaan. Kemudian jika mereka menyerahkan kepada kamu sebagian dari maskawin itu dengan senang hati, maka makanlah (ambillah) pemberian itu (sebagai makanan) yang sedap lagi baik akibatnya.

EN Translation And give unto women their marriage portions in the spirit of a gift; but if they, of their own accord, give up unto you aught thereof, then enjoy it with pleasure and good cheer.

وَلَا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهَاۤءَ اَمْوَالَكُمُ الَّتِيْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ قِيٰمًا وَّارْزُقُوْهُمْ فِيْهَا وَاكْسُوْهُمْ وَقُوْلُوْا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا ٥

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu serahkan kepada orang-orang yang belum sempurna akalnya, harta (mereka yang ada dalam kekuasaanmu) yang dijadikan Allah sebagai pokok kehidupan. Berilah mereka belanja dan pakaian (dari hasil harta itu) dan ucapkanlah kepada mereka kata-kata yang baik.

EN Translation And do not entrust to those who are weak of judgment the possessions which God has placed in your charge for [their] support; but let them have their sustenance therefrom, and clothe them, and speak unto them in a kindly way.

وَابْتَلُوا الْيَتٰمٰى حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّكَاحَۚ فَاِنْ اٰنَسْتُمْ مِّنْهُمْ رُشْدًا فَادْفَعُوْٓا اِلَيْهِمْ اَمْوَالَهُمْ ۚ وَلَا تَأْكُلُوْهَآ اِسْرَافًا وَّبِدَارًا اَنْ يَّكْبَرُوْا ۗ وَمَنْ كَانَ غَنِيًّا فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ ۚ وَمَنْ كَانَ فَقِيْرًا فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ۗ فَاِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ اِلَيْهِمْ اَمْوَالَهُمْ فَاَشْهِدُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ حَسِيْبًا ٦

ID Translation Dan ujilah anak yatim itu sampai mereka cukup umur untuk kawin. Kemudian jika menurut pendapatmu mereka telah cerdas (pandai memelihara harta), maka serahkanlah kepada mereka harta-hartanya. Dan janganlah kamu makan harta anak yatim lebih dari batas kepatutan dan (janganlah kamu) tergesa-gesa (membelanjakannya) sebelum mereka dewasa. Barang siapa (di antara pemelihara itu) mampu, maka hendaklah ia menahan diri (dari memakan harta anak yatim itu) dan barangsiapa yang miskin, maka bolehlah ia makan harta itu menurut yang patut. Kemudian apabila kamu menyerahkan harta kepada mereka, maka hendaklah kamu adakan saksi-saksi (tentang penyerahan itu) bagi mereka. Dan cukuplah Allah sebagai Pengawas (atas persaksian itu).

EN Translation And test the orphans [in your charge] until they reach a marriage­able age; then, if you find them to be mature of mind, hand over to them their possessions; and do not consume them by wasteful spending, and in haste, ere they grow up. And let him who is rich abstain entirely [from his ward's property]; and let him who is poor partake thereof in a fair manner. And when you hand over to them their possessions, let there be witnesses on their behalf - although none can take count as God does.

لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيْبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدٰنِ وَالْاَقْرَبُوْنَۖ وَلِلنِّسَاۤءِ نَصِيْبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدٰنِ وَالْاَقْرَبُوْنَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنْهُ اَوْ كَثُرَ ۗ نَصِيْبًا مَّفْرُوْضًا ٧

ID Translation Bagi orang laki-laki ada hak bagian dari harta peninggalan ibu-bapa dan kerabatnya, dan bagi orang wanita ada hak bagian (pula) dari harta peninggalan ibu-bapa dan kerabatnya, baik sedikit atau banyak menurut bahagian yang telah ditetapkan.

EN Translation MEN SHALL have a share in what parents and kinsfolk leave behind, and women shall have a share in what parents and kinsfolk leave behind, whether it be little or much - a share ordained [by God].

وَاِذَا حَضَرَ الْقِسْمَةَ اُولُوا الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنُ فَارْزُقُوْهُمْ مِّنْهُ وَقُوْلُوْا لَهُمْ قَوْلًا مَّعْرُوْفًا ٨

ID Translation Dan apabila sewaktu pembagian itu hadir kerabat, anak yatim dan orang miskin, maka berilah mereka dari harta itu (sekedarnya) dan ucapkanlah kepada mereka perkataan yang baik.

EN Translation And when [other] near of kin and orphans and needy persons are present at the distribution [of inheritance], give them something thereof for their sustenance, and speak unto them in a kindly way.

وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِيْنَ لَوْ تَرَكُوْا مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً ضِعٰفًا خَافُوْا عَلَيْهِمْۖ فَلْيَتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَلْيَقُوْلُوْا قَوْلًا سَدِيْدًا ٩

ID Translation Dan hendaklah takut kepada Allah orang-orang yang seandainya meninggalkan dibelakang mereka anak-anak yang lemah, yang mereka khawatir terhadap (kesejahteraan) mereka. Oleh sebab itu hendaklah mereka bertakwa kepada Allah dan hendaklah mereka mengucapkan perkataan yang benar.

EN Translation And let them stand in awe [of God], those [legal heirs] - who, if they [themselves] had to leave behind weak offspring, would feel fear on their account - and let them remain conscious of God, and let them speak [to the poor] in a just manner.

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يَأْكُلُوْنَ اَمْوَالَ الْيَتٰمٰى ظُلْمًا اِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُوْنَ فِيْ بُطُوْنِهِمْ نَارًا ۗ وَسَيَصْلَوْنَ سَعِيْرًا ١٠

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang memakan harta anak yatim secara zalim, sebenarnya mereka itu menelan api sepenuh perutnya dan mereka akan masuk ke dalam api yang menyala-nyala (neraka).

EN Translation Behold, those who sinfully devour the posses­sions of orphans but fill their bellies with fire: for [in the life to come] they will have to endure a blazing flame!

يُوْصِيْكُمُ اللّٰهُ فِيْٓ اَوْلَادِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْاُنْثَيَيْنِ ۚ فَاِنْ كُنَّ نِسَاۤءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ ۚ وَاِنْ كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ ۗ وَلِاَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ اِنْ كَانَ لَهٗ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنْ لَّمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ وَلَدٌ وَّوَرِثَهٗٓ اَبَوٰهُ فَلِاُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ ۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَهٗٓ اِخْوَةٌ فَلِاُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُّوْصِيْ بِهَآ اَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ اٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ وَاَبْنَاۤؤُكُمْۚ لَا تَدْرُوْنَ اَيُّهُمْ اَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعًا ۗ فَرِيْضَةً مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا ١١

ID Translation Allah mensyari'atkan bagimu tentang (pembagian pusaka untuk) anak-anakmu. Yaitu: bahagian seorang anak lelaki sama dengan bagahian dua orang anak perempuan; dan jika anak itu semuanya perempuan lebih dari dua, maka bagi mereka dua pertiga dari harta yang ditinggalkan; jika anak perempuan itu seorang saja, maka ia memperoleh separo harta. Dan untuk dua orang ibu-bapa, bagi masing-masingnya seperenam dari harta yang ditinggalkan, jika yang meninggal itu mempunyai anak; jika orang yang meninggal tidak mempunyai anak dan ia diwarisi oleh ibu-bapanya (saja), maka ibunya mendapat sepertiga; jika yang meninggal itu mempunyai beberapa saudara, maka ibunya mendapat seperenam. (Pembagian-pembagian tersebut di atas) sesudah dipenuhi wasiat yang ia buat atau (dan) sesudah dibayar hutangnya. (Tentang) orang tuamu dan anak-anakmu, kamu tidak mengetahui siapa di antara mereka yang lebih dekat (banyak) manfaatnya bagimu. Ini adalah ketetapan dari Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation CONCERNING [the inheritance of] your children, God enjoins [this] upon you: The male shall have the equal of two females’ share; but if there are more than two females, they shall have two-thirds of what [their parents] leave behind; and if there is only one daughter, she shall have one-half thereof. And as for the parents [of the deceased], each of them shall have one-sixth of what he leaves behind, in the event of his having [left] a child; but if he has left no child and his parents are his [only] heirs, then his mother shall have one-third; and if he has brothers and sisters, then his mother shall have one-sixth after [the deduction of] any bequest he may have made, or any debt [he may have incurred]. As for your parents and your children - you know not which of them is more deserving of benefit from you: [therefore this] ordinance from God. Verily, God is all-knowing, wise.

۞ وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ اَزْوَاجُكُمْ اِنْ لَّمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُنَّ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُّوْصِيْنَ بِهَآ اَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ اِنْ لَّمْ يَكُنْ لَّكُمْ وَلَدٌ ۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوْصُوْنَ بِهَآ اَوْ دَيْنٍ ۗ وَاِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُّوْرَثُ كَلٰلَةً اَوِ امْرَاَةٌ وَّلَهٗٓ اَخٌ اَوْ اُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُۚ فَاِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَاۤءُ فِى الثُّلُثِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُّوْصٰى بِهَآ اَوْ دَيْنٍۙ غَيْرَ مُضَاۤرٍّ ۚ وَصِيَّةً مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَلِيْمٌۗ ١٢

ID Translation Dan bagimu (suami-suami) seperdua dari harta yang ditinggalkan oleh isteri-isterimu, jika mereka tidak mempunyai anak. Jika isteri-isterimu itu mempunyai anak, maka kamu mendapat seperempat dari harta yang ditinggalkannya sesudah dipenuhi wasiat yang mereka buat atau (dan) seduah dibayar hutangnya. Para isteri memperoleh seperempat harta yang kamu tinggalkan jika kamu tidak mempunyai anak. Jika kamu mempunyai anak, maka para isteri memperoleh seperdelapan dari harta yang kamu tinggalkan sesudah dipenuhi wasiat yang kamu buat atau (dan) sesudah dibayar hutang-hutangmu. Jika seseorang mati, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan yang tidak meninggalkan ayah dan tidak meninggalkan anak, tetapi mempunyai seorang saudara laki-laki (seibu saja) atau seorang saudara perempuan (seibu saja), maka bagi masing-masing dari kedua jenis saudara itu seperenam harta. Tetapi jika saudara-saudara seibu itu lebih dari seorang, maka mereka bersekutu dalam yang sepertiga itu, sesudah dipenuhi wasiat yang dibuat olehnya atau sesudah dibayar hutangnya dengan tidak memberi mudharat (kepada ahli waris). (Allah menetapkan yang demikian itu sebagai) syari'at yang benar-benar dari Allah, dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Penyantun.

EN Translation And you shall inherit one-half of what your wives leave behind, provided they have left no child; but if they have left a child, then you shall have one-quarter of what they leave behind, after [the deduction of] any bequest they may have made, or any debt [they may have incurred]. And your widows shall have one-quarter of what you leave behind, provided you have left no child; but if you have left a child, then they shall have one-eighth of what you leave behind, after [the deduction of] any bequest you may have made, or any debt [you may have incurred]. And if a man or a woman has no heir in the direct line, but has a brother or a sister, then each of these two shall inherit one-sixth; but if there are more than two, then they shall share in one-third [of the inheritance], after [the deduction of] any bequest that may have been made, or any debt [that may have been incurred], neither of which having been intended to harm [the heirs]. [This is] an injunction from God: and God is all-knowing, forbearing.

تِلْكَ حُدُوْدُ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُّطِعِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَا ۗ وَذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ١٣

ID Translation (Hukum-hukum tersebut) itu adalah ketentuan-ketentuan dari Allah. Barangsiapa taat kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya, niscaya Allah memasukkannya kedalam surga yang mengalir didalamnya sungai-sungai, sedang mereka kekal di dalamnya; dan itulah kemenangan yang besar.

EN Translation These are the bounds set by God. And whoever pays heed unto God and His Apostle, him will He bring into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and this is a triumph supreme.

وَمَنْ يَّعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ وَيَتَعَدَّ حُدُوْدَهٗ يُدْخِلْهُ نَارًا خَالِدًا فِيْهَاۖ وَلَهٗ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ١٤

ID Translation Dan barangsiapa yang mendurhakai Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan melanggar ketentuan-ketentuan-Nya, niscaya Allah memasukkannya ke dalam api neraka sedang ia kekal di dalamnya; dan baginya siksa yang menghinakan.

EN Translation And whoever rebels against God and His Apostle and transgresses His bounds, him will He commit unto fire, therein to abide; and shameful suffering awaits him.

وَالّٰتِيْ يَأْتِيْنَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مِنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕكُمْ فَاسْتَشْهِدُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّ اَرْبَعَةً مِّنْكُمْ ۚ فَاِنْ شَهِدُوْا فَاَمْسِكُوْهُنَّ فِى الْبُيُوْتِ حَتّٰى يَتَوَفّٰىهُنَّ الْمَوْتُ اَوْ يَجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيْلًا ١٥

ID Translation Dan (terhadap) para wanita yang mengerjakan perbuatan keji, hendaklah ada empat orang saksi diantara kamu (yang menyaksikannya). Kemudian apabila mereka telah memberi persaksian, maka kurunglah mereka (wanita-wanita itu) dalam rumah sampai mereka menemui ajalnya, atau sampai Allah memberi jalan lain kepadanya.

EN Translation AND AS FOR those of your women who become guilty of immoral conduct, call upon four from among you who have witnessed their guilt; and if these bear witness thereto, confine the guilty women to their houses until death takes them away or God opens for them a way [through repentance].

وَالَّذٰنِ يَأْتِيٰنِهَا مِنْكُمْ فَاٰذُوْهُمَا ۚ فَاِنْ تَابَا وَاَصْلَحَا فَاَعْرِضُوْا عَنْهُمَا ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ تَوَّابًا رَّحِيْمًا ١٦

ID Translation Dan terhadap dua orang yang melakukan perbuatan keji di antara kamu, maka berilah hukuman kepada keduanya, kemudian jika keduanya bertaubat dan memperbaiki diri, maka biarkanlah mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation And punish [thus] both of the guilty parties; but if they both repent and mend their ways, leave them alone: for, behold, God is an acceptor of repentance, a dispenser of grace.

اِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ لِلَّذِيْنَ يَعْمَلُوْنَ السُّوْۤءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوْبُوْنَ مِنْ قَرِيْبٍ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ يَتُوْبُ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلِيْمًا حَكِيْمًا ١٧

ID Translation Sesungguhnya taubat di sisi Allah hanyalah taubat bagi orang-orang yang mengerjakan kejahatan lantaran kejahilan, yang kemudian mereka bertaubat dengan segera, maka mereka itulah yang diterima Allah taubatnya; dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation Verily, God's acceptance of repentance relates only to those who do evil out of ignorance and then repent before their time runs out: and it is they unto whom God will turn again in His mercy - for God is all-knowing, wise;

وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوْبَةُ لِلَّذِيْنَ يَعْمَلُوْنَ السَّيِّاٰتِۚ حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا حَضَرَ اَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ اِنِّيْ تُبْتُ الْـٰٔنَ وَلَا الَّذِيْنَ يَمُوْتُوْنَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ١٨

ID Translation Dan tidaklah taubat itu diterima Allah dari orang-orang yang mengerjakan kejahatan (yang) hingga apabila datang ajal kepada seseorang di antara mereka, (barulah) ia mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya saya bertaubat sekarang". Dan tidak (pula diterima taubat) orang-orang yang mati sedang mereka di dalam kekafiran. Bagi orang-orang itu telah Kami sediakan siksa yang pedih.

EN Translation whereas repentance shall not be accepted from those who do evil deeds until their dying hour and then say, "Behold, I now repent"; nor from those who die as deniers of the truth: it is these for whom We have readied grievous suffering.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ اَنْ تَرِثُوا النِّسَاۤءَ كَرْهًا ۗ وَلَا تَعْضُلُوْهُنَّ لِتَذْهَبُوْا بِبَعْضِ مَآ اٰتَيْتُمُوْهُنَّ اِلَّآ اَنْ يَّأْتِيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَعَاشِرُوْهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ ۚ فَاِنْ كَرِهْتُمُوْهُنَّ فَعَسٰٓى اَنْ تَكْرَهُوْا شَيْـًٔا وَّيَجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ فِيْهِ خَيْرًا كَثِيْرًا ١٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, tidak halal bagi kamu mempusakai wanita dengan jalan paksa dan janganlah kamu menyusahkan mereka karena hendak mengambil kembali sebagian dari apa yang telah kamu berikan kepadanya, terkecuali bila mereka melakukan pekerjaan keji yang nyata. Dan bergaullah dengan mereka secara patut. Kemudian bila kamu tidak menyukai mereka, (maka bersabarlah) karena mungkin kamu tidak menyukai sesuatu, padahal Allah menjadikan padanya kebaikan yang banyak.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! It is not lawful for you to [try to] become heirs to your wives [by holding onto them] against their will; and neither shall you keep them under constraint with a view to taking away anything of what you may have given them, unless it be that they have become guilty, in an obvious man­ner, of immoral conduct. And consort with your wives in a goodly manner; for if you dislike them, it may well be that you dislike something which God might yet make a source of abundant good.

وَاِنْ اَرَدْتُّمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَّكَانَ زَوْجٍۙ وَّاٰتَيْتُمْ اِحْدٰىهُنَّ قِنْطَارًا فَلَا تَأْخُذُوْا مِنْهُ شَيْـًٔا ۗ اَتَأْخُذُوْنَهٗ بُهْتَانًا وَّاِثْمًا مُّبِيْنًا ٢٠

ID Translation Dan jika kamu ingin mengganti isterimu dengan isteri yang lain, sedang kamu telah memberikan kepada seseorang di antara mereka harta yang banyak, maka janganlah kamu mengambil kembali dari padanya barang sedikitpun. Apakah kamu akan mengambilnya kembali dengan jalan tuduhan yang dusta dan dengan (menanggung) dosa yang nyata?

EN Translation But if you desire to give up a wife and to take another in her stead, do not take away anything of what you have given the first one, however much it may have been. Would you, perchance, take it away by slandering her and thus committing a manifest sin?

وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُوْنَهٗ وَقَدْ اَفْضٰى بَعْضُكُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ وَّاَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِّيْثَاقًا غَلِيْظًا ٢١

ID Translation Bagaimana kamu akan mengambilnya kembali, padahal sebagian kamu telah bergaul (bercampur) dengan yang lain sebagai suami-isteri. Dan mereka (isteri-isterimu) telah mengambil dari kamu perjanjian yang kuat.

EN Translation And how could you take it away after you have given yourselves to one another, and she has received a most solemn pledge from you?

وَلَا تَنْكِحُوْا مَا نَكَحَ اٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ مِّنَ النِّسَاۤءِ اِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۗ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَّمَقْتًاۗ وَسَاۤءَ سَبِيْلًا ٢٢

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu kawini wanita-wanita yang telah dikawini oleh ayahmu, terkecuali pada masa yang telah lampau. Sesungguhnya perbuatan itu amat keji dan dibenci Allah dan seburuk-buruk jalan (yang ditempuh).

EN Translation AND DO NOT marry women whom your fathers have previously married - although what is past is past: this, verily, is a shameful deed, and a hateful thing, and an evil way.

حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ اُمَّهٰتُكُمْ وَبَنٰتُكُمْ وَاَخَوٰتُكُمْ وَعَمّٰتُكُمْ وَخٰلٰتُكُمْ وَبَنٰتُ الْاَخِ وَبَنٰتُ الْاُخْتِ وَاُمَّهٰتُكُمُ الّٰتِيْٓ اَرْضَعْنَكُمْ وَاَخَوٰتُكُمْ مِّنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَاُمَّهٰتُ نِسَاۤىِٕكُمْ وَرَبَاۤىِٕبُكُمُ الّٰتِيْ فِيْ حُجُوْرِكُمْ مِّنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕكُمُ الّٰتِيْ دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّۖ فَاِنْ لَّمْ تَكُوْنُوْا دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ وَحَلَاۤىِٕلُ اَبْنَاۤىِٕكُمُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ اَصْلَابِكُمْۙ وَاَنْ تَجْمَعُوْا بَيْنَ الْاُخْتَيْنِ اِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِيْمًا ۔ ٢٣

ID Translation Diharamkan atas kamu (mengawini) ibu-ibumu; anak-anakmu yang perempuan; saudara-saudaramu yang perempuan, saudara-saudara bapakmu yang perempuan; saudara-saudara ibumu yang perempuan; anak-anak perempuan dari saudara-saudaramu yang laki-laki; anak-anak perempuan dari saudara-saudaramu yang perempuan; ibu-ibumu yang menyusui kamu; saudara perempuan sepersusuan; ibu-ibu isterimu (mertua); anak-anak isterimu yang dalam pemeliharaanmu dari isteri yang telah kamu campuri, tetapi jika kamu belum campur dengan isterimu itu (dan sudah kamu ceraikan), maka tidak berdosa kamu mengawininya; (dan diharamkan bagimu) isteri-isteri anak kandungmu (menantu); dan menghimpunkan (dalam perkawinan) dua perempuan yang bersaudara, kecuali yang telah terjadi pada masa lampau; sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation Forbidden to you are your mothers, and your daughters, and your sisters, and your aunts paternal and maternal, and a brother's daughters, and a sister's daughters; and your milk-mothers, and your milk-sisters; and the mothers of your wives; and your step-daughters - who are your foster children - born of your wives with whom you have consummated your marriage; but if you have not consummated your marriage, you will incur no sin [by marrying their daughters]; and [forbidden to you are] the spouses of the sons who have sprung from your loins; and [you are forbidden] to have two sisters [as your wives] at one and the same time - but what is past is past: for, behold, God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
