Juz 28

قَدْ سَمِعَ اللّٰهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِيْ تُجَادِلُكَ فِيْ زَوْجِهَا وَتَشْتَكِيْٓ اِلَى اللّٰهِ ۖوَاللّٰهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَاۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ سَمِيْعٌۢ بَصِيْرٌ ١

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah mendengar perkataan wanita yang mengajukan gugatan kepada kamu tentang suaminya, dan mengadukan (halnya) kepada Allah. Dan Allah mendengar soal jawab antara kamu berdua. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Melihat.

EN Translation GOD has indeed heard the words of her who pleads with thee concerning her husband, and complains Unto God. And God does hear what you both have to say: verily, God is all-hearing, all-seeing.

اَلَّذِيْنَ يُظٰهِرُوْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِّنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕهِمْ مَّا هُنَّ اُمَّهٰتِهِمْۗ اِنْ اُمَّهٰتُهُمْ اِلَّا الّٰۤـِٔيْ وَلَدْنَهُمْۗ وَاِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مُنْكَرًا مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ وَزُوْرًاۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوْرٌ ٢

ID Translation Orang-orang yang menzhihar isterinya di antara kamu, (menganggap isterinya sebagai ibunya, padahal) tiadalah isteri mereka itu ibu mereka. Ibu-ibu mereka tidak lain hanyalah wanita yang melahirkan mereka. Dan sesungguhnya mereka sungguh-sungguh mengucapkan suatu perkataan mungkar dan dusta. Dan sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pemaaf lagi Maha Pengampun.

EN Translation As for those of you who [henceforth] separate themselves from their wives by saying, “Thou art as unlawful to me as my mother”, [let them bear in mind that] they can never be [as] their mothers: none are their mothers save those who gave them birth: and so, behold, they but utter a saying that runs counter to reason, and is [therefore] false. But, behold, God is indeed an absolver of sins, much-forgiving:

وَالَّذِيْنَ يُظٰهِرُوْنَ مِنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُوْدُوْنَ لِمَا قَالُوْا فَتَحْرِيْرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّتَمَاۤسَّاۗ ذٰلِكُمْ تُوْعَظُوْنَ بِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ٣

ID Translation Orang-orang yang menzhihar isteri mereka, kemudian mereka hendak menarik kembali apa yang mereka ucapkan, maka (wajib atasnya) memerdekakan seorang budak sebelum kedua suami isteri itu bercampur. Demikianlah yang diajarkan kepada kamu, dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation hence, as for those who would separate themselves from their wives by saying, “Thou art as unlawful to me as my mother”, and thereafter would go back on what they have said, [their atonement] shall be the freeing of a human being from bondage before the couple may touch one another again: this you are [hereby] exhorted to do - for God is fully aware of all that you do.

فَمَنْ لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّتَمَاۤسَّاۗ فَمَنْ لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَاِطْعَامُ سِتِّيْنَ مِسْكِيْنًاۗ ذٰلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖۗ وَتِلْكَ حُدُوْدُ اللّٰهِ ۗوَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٤

ID Translation Barangsiapa yang tidak mendapatkan (budak), maka (wajib atasnya) berpuasa dua bulan berturut-turut sebelum keduanya bercampur. Maka siapa yang tidak kuasa (wajiblah atasnya) memberi makan enam puluh orang miskin. Demikianlah supaya kamu beriman kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Dan itulah hukum-hukum Allah, dan bagi orang kafir ada siksaan yang sangat pedih.

EN Translation However, he who does not have the where­withal shall fast [instead] for two consecutive months before the couple may touch one another again; and he who is unable to do it shall feed sixty needy ones: this, so that you might prove your faith in God and His Apostle. Now these are the bounds set by God; and grievous suffering [in the life to come] awaits all who deny the truth.

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُحَاۤدُّوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ كُبِتُوْا كَمَا كُبِتَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَقَدْ اَنْزَلْنَآ اٰيٰتٍۢ بَيِّنٰتٍۗ وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌۚ ٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, pasti mendapat kehinaan sebagaimana orang-orang yang sebelum mereka telah mendapat kehinaan. Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkan bukti-bukti nyata. Dan bagi orang-orang kafir ada siksa yang menghinakan.

EN Translation Verily, those who contend against God and His Apostle shall be brought low even as those [evildoers] who lived before them were brought low after We had bestowed [on them] clear messages from on high. And [so,] for those who deny the truth there will be shameful suffering in store

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللّٰهُ جَمِيْعًا فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوْاۗ اَحْصٰىهُ اللّٰهُ وَنَسُوْهُۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ ٦

ID Translation Pada hari ketika mereka dibangkitkan Allah semuanya, lalu diberitakan-Nya kepada mereka apa yang telah mereka kerjakan. Allah mengumpulkan (mencatat) amal perbuatan itu, padahal mereka telah melupakannya. Dan Allah Maha Menyaksikan segala sesuatu.

EN Translation on the Day when God will raise them all from the dead and will make them truly understand all that they did [in life]: God will have taken [all of] it into account, even though they [themselves] may have forgotten it - for God is wit­ness unto everything.

اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ مَا يَكُوْنُ مِنْ نَّجْوٰى ثَلٰثَةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ اِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَآ اَدْنٰى مِنْ ذٰلِكَ وَلَآ اَكْثَرَ اِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ اَيْنَ مَا كَانُوْاۚ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوْا يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ٧

ID Translation Tidakkah kamu perhatikan, bahwa sesungguhnya Allah mengetahui apa yang ada di langit dan di bumi? Tiada pembicaraan rahasia antara tiga orang, melainkan Dialah keempatnya. Dan tiada (pembicaraan antara) lima orang, melainkan Dialah keenamnya. Dan tiada (pula) pembicaraan antara jumlah yang kurang dari itu atau lebih banyak, melainkan Dia berada bersama mereka di manapun mereka berada. Kemudian Dia akan memberitahukan kepada mereka pada hari kiamat apa yang telah mereka kerjakan. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha mengetahui segala sesuatu.

EN Translation ART THOU NOT aware that God knows all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth? Never can there be a secret confabulation between three persons without His being the fourth of them, nor between five without His being the sixth of them; and neither between less than that, or more, without His being with them wherever they may he. But in the end, on Resurrection Day, He will make them truly understand what they did: for, verily, God has full knowledge of everything.

اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ نُهُوْا عَنِ النَّجْوٰى ثُمَّ يَعُوْدُوْنَ لِمَا نُهُوْا عَنْهُ وَيَتَنٰجَوْنَ بِالْاِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُوْلِۖ وَاِذَا جَاۤءُوْكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللّٰهُ ۙوَيَقُوْلُوْنَ فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللّٰهُ بِمَا نَقُوْلُۗ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۚ يَصْلَوْنَهَاۚ فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ٨

ID Translation Apakah tidak kamu perhatikan orang-orang yang telah dilarang mengadakan pembicaraan rahasia, kemudian mereka kembali (mengerjakan) larangan itu dan mereka mengadakan pembicaraan rahasia untuk berbuat dosa, permusuhan dan durhaka kepada Rasul. Dan apabila mereka datang kepadamu, mereka mengucapkan salam kepadamu dengan memberi salam yang bukan sebagai yang ditentukan Allah untukmu. Dan mereka mengatakan kepada diri mereka sendiri: "Mengapa Allah tidak menyiksa kita disebabkan apa yang kita katakan itu?" Cukuplah bagi mereka Jahannam yang akan mereka masuki. Dan neraka itu adalah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali.

EN Translation Art thou not aware of such as have been for­bidden [to intrigue through] secret confabulations, and yet [always] revert to that which they have been forbidden, and conspire with one another with a view to sinful doings, and aggressive conduct, and dis­obedience to the Apostle? Now whenever such [people] approach thee, [O Muhammad,] they salute thee with a greeting which God has never countenanced; and they say to themselves, “Why does not God chastise us for what we are saying?” Hell shall be their allotted portion: they shall [in­deed] enter it - and how vile a journey’s end!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا تَنَاجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْاِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُوْلِ وَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوٰىۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْٓ اِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman, apabila kamu mengadakan pembicaraan rahasia, janganlah kamu membicarakan tentang membuat dosa, permusuhan dan berbuat durhaka kepada Rasul. Dan bicarakanlah tentang membuat kebajikan dan takwa. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah yang kepada-Nya kamu akan dikembalikan.

EN Translation [Hence,] O you who have attained to faith, when you do hold secret confabulations, do not conspire with one another with a view to sinful doings, and aggressive conduct, and disobedience to the Apostle, but [rather] hold counsel in the cause of virtue and God-consciousness: and [always] remain conscious of God, unto whom you all shall be gathered.

اِنَّمَا النَّجْوٰى مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَلَيْسَ بِضَاۤرِّهِمْ شَيْـًٔا اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Sesungguhnya pembicaraan rahasia itu adalah dari syaitan, supaya orang-orang yang beriman itu berduka cita, sedang pembicaraan itu tiadalah memberi mudharat sedikitpun kepada mereka, kecuali dengan izin Allah dan kepada Allah-lah hendaknya orang-orang yang beriman bertawakkal.

EN Translation [All other kinds of] secret confabulations are but of Satan’s doing, so that he might cause grief to those who have attained to faith; yet he cannot harm them in the least, unless it be by God’s leave: in God, then, let the believers place their trust!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا قِيْلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوْا فِى الْمَجٰلِسِ فَافْسَحُوْا يَفْسَحِ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْۚ وَاِذَا قِيْلَ انْشُزُوْا فَانْشُزُوْا يَرْفَعِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْۙ وَالَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجٰتٍۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ١١

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman apabila dikatakan kepadamu: "Berlapang-lapanglah dalam majlis", maka lapangkanlah niscaya Allah akan memberi kelapangan untukmu. Dan apabila dikatakan: "Berdirilah kamu", maka berdirilah, niscaya Allah akan meninggikan orang-orang yang beriman di antaramu dan orang-orang yang diberi ilmu pengetahuan beberapa derajat. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! When you are told, “Make room for one another in your collective life”, do make room: [and in return,] God will make room for you [in His grace]. And whenever you are told, “Rise up [for a good deed]”, do rise up; [and] God will exalt by [many] degrees those of you who have attained to faith and, [above all,] such as have been vouchsafed [true] knowledge: for God is fully aware of all that you do.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا نَاجَيْتُمُ الرَّسُوْلَ فَقَدِّمُوْا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوٰىكُمْ صَدَقَةً ۗذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ وَاَطْهَرُۗ فَاِنْ لَّمْ تَجِدُوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٢

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman, apabila kamu mengadakan pembicaraan khusus dengan Rasul hendaklah kamu mengeluarkan sedekah (kepada orang miskin) sebelum pembicaraan itu. Yang demikian itu lebih baik bagimu dan lebih bersih; jika kamu tidak memperoleh (yang akan disedekahkan) maka sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Whenever you [intend to] consult the Apostle, offer up something in charity on the occasion of your consultation: this will be for your own good, and more conducive to your [inner] purity. Yet if you are unable to do so, [know that,] verily, God is much-forgiving, a dispen­ser of grace.

ءَاَشْفَقْتُمْ اَنْ تُقَدِّمُوْا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوٰىكُمْ صَدَقٰتٍۗ فَاِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوْا وَتَابَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاَقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَاَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۗوَاللّٰهُ خَبِيْرٌ ۢبِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٣

ID Translation Apakah kamu takut akan (menjadi miskin) karena kamu memberikan sedekah sebelum mengadakan pembicaraan dengan Rasul? Maka jika kamu tiada memperbuatnya dan Allah telah memberi taubat kepadamu maka dirikanlah shalat, tunaikanlah zakat, taatlah kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya; dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation Do you, perchance, fear lest [you may be sinning if] you cannot offer up anything in charity on the occasion of your consultation [with the Apostle]? But if you fail to do it [for lack of opportunity], and God turns unto you in His mercy, remain but con­stant in prayer and render [no more than] the purify­ing dues, and [thus] pay heed unto God and His Apostle: for God is fully aware of all that you do.

۞ اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ تَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْۗ مَا هُمْ مِّنْكُمْ وَلَا مِنْهُمْۙ وَيَحْلِفُوْنَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٤

ID Translation Tidakkah kamu perhatikan orang-orang yang menjadikan suatu kaum yang dimurkai Allah sebagai teman? Orang-orang itu bukan dari golongan kamu dan bukan (pula) dari golongan mereka. Dan mereka bersumpah untuk menguatkan kebohongan, sedang mereka mengetahui.

EN Translation ART THOU NOT aware of those who would be friends with people whom God has condemned? They are neither of you [O believers] nor of those [who utterly reject the truth]: and so they swear to a falsehood the while they know [it to be false].

اَعَدَّ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًاۗ اِنَّهُمْ سَاۤءَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٥

ID Translation Allah telah menyediakan bagi mereka azab yang sangat keras, sesungguhnya amat buruklah apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation God has readied for them suffering severe [in the life to come]. Behold, evil indeed is what they are wont to do:

اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ١٦

ID Translation Mereka menjadikan sumpah-sumpah mereka sebagai perisai, lalu mereka halangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah; karena itu mereka mendapat azab yang menghinakan.

EN Translation they have made their oaths a cover [for their falseness], and thus they turn others away from the path of God: hence, shameful suffering awaits them.

لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ١٧

ID Translation Harta benda dan anak-anak mereka tiada berguna sedikitpun (untuk menolong) mereka dari azab Allah. Mereka itulah penghuni neraka, dan mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation Neither their worldly possessions nor their offspring will be of the least avail to them against God: it is they who are destined for the fire, therein to abide!

يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللّٰهُ جَمِيْعًا فَيَحْلِفُوْنَ لَهٗ كَمَا يَحْلِفُوْنَ لَكُمْ وَيَحْسَبُوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ عَلٰى شَيْءٍۗ اَلَآ اِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكٰذِبُوْنَ ١٨

ID Translation (Ingatlah) hari (ketika) mereka semua dibangkitkan Allah lalu mereka bersumpah kepada-Nya (bahwa mereka bukan musyrikin) sebagaimana mereka bersumpah kepadamu; dan mereka menyangka bahwa mereka akan memperoleh suatu (manfaat). Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya merekalah orang-orang pendusta.

EN Translation On the Day when God will raise them all from the dead, they will swear before Him as they [now] swear before you, thinking that they are on firm ground [in their assumptions]. Oh, verily, it is they, they who are the [greatest] liars!

اِسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ فَاَنْسٰىهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللّٰهِ ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطٰنِۗ اَلَآ اِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطٰنِ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ١٩

ID Translation Syaitan telah menguasai mereka lalu menjadikan mereka lupa mengingat Allah; mereka itulah golongan syaitan. Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya golongan syaitan itulah golongan yang merugi.

EN Translation Satan has gained mastery over them, and has caused them to remain oblivious of the remem­brance of God. Such as these are Satan’s partisans: oh, verily, it is they, the partisans of Satan, who will truly be the losers!

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ يُحَاۤدُّوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗٓ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ فِى الْاَذَلِّيْنَ ٢٠

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, mereka termasuk orang-orang yang sangat hina.

EN Translation Verily, those who contend against God and His Apostle - it is they who [on Judgment Day] shall find themselves among the most abject.

كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ لَاَغْلِبَنَّ اَنَا۠ وَرُسُلِيْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيْزٌ ٢١

ID Translation Allah telah menetapkan: "Aku dan rasul-rasul-Ku pasti menang". Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuat lagi Maha Perkasa.

EN Translation [For] God has thus ordained: “I shall most certainly prevail, I and My apostles!” Verily, God is powerful, almighty!

لَا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ يُوَاۤدُّوْنَ مَنْ حَاۤدَّ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ وَلَوْ كَانُوْٓا اٰبَاۤءَهُمْ اَوْ اَبْنَاۤءَهُمْ اَوْ اِخْوَانَهُمْ اَوْ عَشِيْرَتَهُمْۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ كَتَبَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمُ الْاِيْمَانَ وَاَيَّدَهُمْ بِرُوْحٍ مِّنْهُ ۗوَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوْا عَنْهُۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ حِزْبُ اللّٰهِ ۗ اَلَآ اِنَّ حِزْبَ اللّٰهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ٢٢

ID Translation Kamu tak akan mendapati kaum yang beriman pada Allah dan hari akhirat, saling berkasih-sayang dengan orang-orang yang menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, sekalipun orang-orang itu bapak-bapak, atau anak-anak atau saudara-saudara ataupun keluarga mereka. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang telah menanamkan keimanan dalam hati mereka dan menguatkan mereka dengan pertolongan yang datang daripada-Nya. Dan dimasukan-Nya mereka ke dalam surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Allah ridha terhadap mereka, dan merekapun merasa puas terhadap (limpahan rahmat)-Nya. Mereka itulah golongan Allah. Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya hizbullah itu adalah golongan yang beruntung.

EN Translation Thou canst not find people who [truly] believe in God and the Last Day and [at the same time] love anyone who contends against God and His Apostle - even though they be their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or [others of] their kindred. [As for the true believers,] it is they in whose hearts He has inscribed faith, and whom He has strength­ened with inspiration from Himself, and whom [in time] He will admit into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide. Well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him. They are God’s partisans: oh, verily, it is they, the partisans of God, who shall attain to a happy state!

سَبَّحَ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١

ID Translation Telah bertasbih kepada Allah apa yang ada di langit dan bumi; dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation ALL THAT IS in the heavens and all that is on earth extols God’s limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise.

هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَخْرَجَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ لِاَوَّلِ الْحَشْرِۗ مَا ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ يَّخْرُجُوْا وَظَنُّوْٓا اَنَّهُمْ مَّانِعَتُهُمْ حُصُوْنُهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ فَاَتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَحْتَسِبُوْا وَقَذَفَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمُ الرُّعْبَ يُخْرِبُوْنَ بُيُوْتَهُمْ بِاَيْدِيْهِمْ وَاَيْدِى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۙ فَاعْتَبِرُوْا يٰٓاُولِى الْاَبْصَارِ ٢

ID Translation Dialah yang mengeluarkan orang-orang kafir di antara ahli kitab dari kampung-kampung mereka pada saat pengusiran yang pertama. Kamu tidak menyangka, bahwa mereka akan keluar dan merekapun yakin, bahwa benteng-benteng mereka dapat mempertahankan mereka dari (siksa) Allah; maka Allah mendatangkan kepada mereka (hukuman) dari arah yang tidak mereka sangka-sangka. Dan Allah melemparkan ketakutan dalam hati mereka; mereka memusnahkan rumah-rumah mereka dengan tangan mereka sendiri dan tangan orang-orang mukmin. Maka ambillah (kejadian itu) untuk menjadi pelajaran, hai orang-orang yang mempunyai wawasan.

EN Translation He it is who turned out of their homes, at the time of [their] first gathering [for war], such of the followers of earlier revelation as were bent on denying the truth. You did not think [O believers] that they would depart [without resistance] - just as they thought that their strongholds would protect them against God: but God came upon them in a manner which they had not expected, and cast terror into their hearts; [and thus] they destroyed their homes by their own hands as well as the hands of the believers. Learn a lesson, then, O you who are endowed with insight!

وَلَوْلَآ اَنْ كَتَبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْجَلَاۤءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَاۗ وَلَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابُ النَّارِ ٣

ID Translation Dan jika tidaklah karena Allah telah menetapkan pengusiran terhadap mereka, benar-benar Allah mengazab mereka di dunia. Dan bagi mereka di akhirat azab neraka.

EN Translation And had it not been for God’s having ordained banishment for them, He would indeed have imposed [yet greater] suffering on them in this world: still, in the life to come there awaits them suffering through fire:

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ شَاۤقُّوا اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۖوَمَنْ يُّشَاۤقِّ اللّٰهَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيْدُ الْعِقَابِ ٤

ID Translation Yang demikian itu adalah karena Sesungguhnya mereka menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Barangsiapa menentang Allah dan Rasul-Nya, Sesungguhnya Allah sangat keras hukuman-Nya.

EN Translation this, because they cut themselves off from God and His Apostle: and as for him who cuts himself off from God and His Apostle - verily, God is severe in retribution!

مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِّنْ لِّيْنَةٍ اَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوْهَا قَاۤىِٕمَةً عَلٰٓى اُصُوْلِهَا فَبِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٥

ID Translation Apa saja yang kamu tebang dari pohon kurma (milik orang-orang kafir) atau yang kamu biarkan (tumbuh) berdiri di atas pokoknya, maka (semua itu) adalah dengan izin Allah; dan karena Dia hendak memberikan kehinaan kepada orang-orang fasik.

EN Translation Whatever [of their] palm trees you may have cut down, [O believers,] or left standing on their roots, was [done] by God’s leave, and in order that He might confound the iniquitous.

وَمَآ اَفَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ مِنْهُمْ فَمَآ اَوْجَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ خَيْلٍ وَّلَا رِكَابٍ وَّلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُسَلِّطُ رُسُلَهٗ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٦

ID Translation Dan apa saja harta rampasan (fai-i) yang diberikan Allah kepada Rasul-Nya (dari harta benda) mereka, maka untuk mendapatkan itu kamu tidak mengerahkan seekor kudapun dan (tidak pula) seekor untapun, tetapi Allah yang memberikan kekuasaan kepada Rasul-Nya terhadap apa saja yang dikehendaki-Nya. Dan Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation Yet [remember:] whatever [spoils taken] from the enemy God has turned over to His Apostle, you did not have to spur horse or riding-camel for its sake: but God gives His apostles mastery over whomever He wills - for God has the power to will anything.

مَآ اَفَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى رَسُوْلِهٖ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰى فَلِلّٰهِ وَلِلرَّسُوْلِ وَلِذِى الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيْلِۙ كَيْ لَا يَكُوْنَ دُوْلَةً ۢ بَيْنَ الْاَغْنِيَاۤءِ مِنْكُمْۗ وَمَآ اٰتٰىكُمُ الرَّسُوْلُ فَخُذُوْهُ وَمَا نَهٰىكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوْاۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيْدُ الْعِقَابِۘ ٧

ID Translation Apa saja harta rampasan (fai-i) yang diberikan Allah kepada Rasul-Nya (dari harta benda) yang berasal dari penduduk kota-kota maka adalah untuk Allah, untuk Rasul, kaum kerabat, anak-anak yatim, orang-orang miskin dan orang-orang yang dalam perjalanan, supaya harta itu jangan beredar di antara orang-orang kaya saja di antara kamu. Apa yang diberikan Rasul kepadamu, maka terimalah. Dan apa yang dilarangnya bagimu, maka tinggalkanlah. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah amat keras hukumannya.

EN Translation Whatever [spoils taken] from the people of those villages God has turned over to His Apostle - [all of it] belongs to God and the Apostle, and the near of kin [of deceased believers], and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, so that it may not be [a benefit] going round and round among such of you as may [already] be rich. Hence, accept [willing­ly] whatever the Apostle* gives you [thereof], and refrain from [demanding] anything that he withholds from you; and remain conscious of God: for, verily, God is severe in retribution.

لِلْفُقَرَاۤءِ الْمُهٰجِرِيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُخْرِجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَاَمْوَالِهِمْ يَبْتَغُوْنَ فَضْلًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضْوَانًا وَّيَنْصُرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الصّٰدِقُوْنَۚ ٨

ID Translation (Juga) bagi orang fakir yang berhijrah yang diusir dari kampung halaman dan dari harta benda mereka (karena) mencari karunia dari Allah dan keridhaan-Nya dan mereka menolong Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang benar.

EN Translation [Thus, part of such war-gains shall be given] to the poor among those who have forsaken the domain of evil: those who have been driven from their homelands and their possessions, seeking favour with God and [His] goodly acceptance, and who aid [the cause of] God and His Apostle: it is they, they who are true to their word!

وَالَّذِيْنَ تَبَوَّءُو الدَّارَ وَالْاِيْمَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّوْنَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ اِلَيْهِمْ وَلَا يَجِدُوْنَ فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمْ حَاجَةً مِّمَّآ اُوْتُوْا وَيُؤْثِرُوْنَ عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَةٌ ۗوَمَنْ يُّوْقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهٖ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَۚ ٩

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang telah menempati kota Madinah dan telah beriman (Anshor) sebelum (kedatangan) mereka (Muhajirin), mereka (Anshor) 'mencintai' orang yang berhijrah kepada mereka (Muhajirin). Dan mereka (Anshor) tiada menaruh keinginan dalam hati mereka terhadap apa-apa yang diberikan kepada mereka (Muhajirin); dan mereka mengutamakan (orang-orang Muhajirin), atas diri mereka sendiri, sekalipun mereka dalam kesusahan. Dan siapa yang dipelihara dari kekikiran dirinya, mereka itulah orang orang yang beruntung

EN Translation And [it shall be offered, too, unto the poor from among] those who, before them, had their abode in this realm and in faith - [those] who love all that come to them in search of refuge, and who harbour in their hearts no grudge for whatever the others may have been given, but rather give them preference over themselves, even though poverty be their own lot: for, such as from their own covetousness are saved - it is they, they that shall attain to a happy state!

وَالَّذِيْنَ جَاۤءُوْ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِاِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِيْنَ سَبَقُوْنَا بِالْاِيْمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِيْ قُلُوْبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا رَبَّنَآ اِنَّكَ رَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٠

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang datang sesudah mereka (Muhajirin dan Anshor), mereka berdoa: "Ya Rabb kami, beri ampunlah kami dan saudara-saudara kami yang telah beriman lebih dulu dari kami, dan janganlah Engkau membiarkan kedengkian dalam hati kami terhadap orang-orang yang beriman; Ya Rabb kami, Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Penyantun lagi Maha Penyayang".

EN Translation And so, they who come after them pray: “O our Sustainer! Forgive us our sins, as well as those of our brethren who preceded us in faith, and let not our hearts entertain any unworthy thoughts or feelings against [any of] those who have attained to faith. O our Sustainer! Verily, Thou art compassionate, a dispenser of grace!”

۞ اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ نَافَقُوْا يَقُوْلُوْنَ لِاِخْوَانِهِمُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَىِٕنْ اُخْرِجْتُمْ لَنَخْرُجَنَّ مَعَكُمْ وَلَا نُطِيْعُ فِيْكُمْ اَحَدًا اَبَدًاۙ وَّاِنْ قُوْتِلْتُمْ لَنَنْصُرَنَّكُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَشْهَدُ اِنَّهُمْ لَكٰذِبُوْنَ ١١

ID Translation Apakah kamu tidak memperhatikan orang-orang munafik yang berkata kepada saudara-saudara mereka yang kafir di antara ahli kitab: "Sesungguhnya jika kamu diusir niscaya kamipun akan keluar bersamamu; dan kami selama-lamanya tidak akan patuh kepada siapapun untuk (menyusahkan) kamu, dan jika kamu diperangi pasti kami akan membantu kamu". Dan Allah menyaksikan bahwa Sesungguhnya mereka benar-benar pendusta.

EN Translation ART THOU NOT aware of how those who would always dissemble [their real feelings] speak to their truth-denying brethren from among the followers of earlier revelation: “If you are driven away, we shall most certainly go forth with you, and shall never pay heed to anyone against you; and if war is waged against you, we shall most certainly come to your succour.” But God bears witness that they are most flagrantly lying:

لَىِٕنْ اُخْرِجُوْا لَا يَخْرُجُوْنَ مَعَهُمْۚ وَلَىِٕنْ قُوْتِلُوْا لَا يَنْصُرُوْنَهُمْۚ وَلَىِٕنْ نَّصَرُوْهُمْ لَيُوَلُّنَّ الْاَدْبَارَۙ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُوْنَ ١٢

ID Translation Sesungguhnya jika mereka diusir, orang-orang munafik itu tidak akan keluar bersama mereka, dan sesungguhnya jika mereka diperangi, niscaya mereka tidak akan menolongnya; sesungguhnya jika mereka menolongnya, niscaya mereka akan berpaling lari ke belakang; kemudian mereka tidak akan mendapat pertolongan.

EN Translation [for] if those [to whom they have pledged themselves] are indeed driven away, they will not go forth with them; and if war is waged against them, they will not come to their succour; and even if they [try to] succour them, they will most certainly turn their backs [in flight], and in the end will [themselves] find no succour.

لَاَنْتُمْ اَشَدُّ رَهْبَةً فِيْ صُدُوْرِهِمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ١٣

ID Translation Sesungguhnya kamu dalam hati mereka lebih ditakuti daripada Allah. Yang demikian itu karena mereka adalah kaum yang tidak mengerti.

EN Translation Nay, [O believers,] you arouse in their bosoms a fear more intense than [even their fear of] God: this, because they are people who fail to grasp the truth.

لَا يُقَاتِلُوْنَكُمْ جَمِيْعًا اِلَّا فِيْ قُرًى مُّحَصَّنَةٍ اَوْ مِنْ وَّرَاۤءِ جُدُرٍۗ بَأْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَدِيْدٌ ۗ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَمِيْعًا وَّقُلُوْبُهُمْ شَتّٰىۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَّا يَعْقِلُوْنَۚ ١٤

ID Translation Mereka tidak akan memerangi kamu dalam keadaan bersatu padu, kecuali dalam kampung-kampung yang berbenteng atau di balik tembok. Permusuhan antara sesama mereka adalah sangat hebat. Kamu kira mereka itu bersatu, sedang hati mereka berpecah belah. Yang demikian itu karena sesungguhnya mereka adalah kaum yang tidak mengerti.

EN Translation Never will they fight you, [even] in unison, otherwise than from within fortified strongholds or from behind walls. Severe is their warlike discord among themselves: thou wouldst think that they are united, whereas [in fact] their hearts are at odds [with one another]: this, because they are people who will not use their reason.

كَمَثَلِ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيْبًا ذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِمْۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌۚ ١٥

ID Translation (Mereka adalah) seperti orang-orang Yahudi yang belum lama sebelum mereka telah merasai akibat buruk dari perbuatan mereka, dan bagi mereka azab yang pedih.

EN Translation [To both kinds of your enemies, O believers, is bound to happen] the like of [what happened to] those who, a short while before them, had to taste the evil that came from their own doings, with [yet more] grievous suffering awaiting them [in the life to come]:

كَمَثَلِ الشَّيْطٰنِ اِذْ قَالَ لِلْاِنْسَانِ اكْفُرْۚ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ اِنِّيْ بَرِيْۤءٌ مِّنْكَ اِنِّيْٓ اَخَافُ اللّٰهَ رَبَّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ١٦

ID Translation (Bujukan orang-orang munafik itu adalah) seperti (bujukan) shaitan ketika dia berkata kepada manusia: "Kafirlah kamu", maka tatkala manusia itu telah kafir, maka ia berkata: "Sesungguhnya aku berlepas diri dari kamu, karena sesungguhnya aku takut kepada Allah, Rabb semesta Alam".

EN Translation the like of [what happens] when Satan says unto man, “Deny the truth!” - but as soon as [man] has denied the truth, [Satan] says, “Behold, I am not responsible for thee: behold, I fear God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!”

فَكَانَ عَاقِبَتَهُمَآ اَنَّهُمَا فِى النَّارِ خَالِدَيْنِ فِيْهَاۗ وَذٰلِكَ جَزٰۤؤُا الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ١٧

ID Translation Maka adalah kesudahan keduanya, bahwa sesungguhnya keduanya (masuk) ke dalam neraka, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Demikianlah balasan orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation Thus, in the end, both [the deniers of the truth and the hypocrites] will find themselves in the fire, therein to abide: for such is the recompense of evil­doers.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَلْتَنْظُرْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ خَبِيْرٌ ۢبِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٨

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bertakwalah kepada Allah dan hendaklah setiap diri memperhatikan apa yang telah diperbuatnya untuk hari esok (akhirat); dan bertakwalah kepada Allah, sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain conscious of God; and let every human being look to what he sends ahead for the morrow! And [once again]: Remain conscious of God, for God is fully aware of all that you do;

وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ نَسُوا اللّٰهَ فَاَنْسٰىهُمْ اَنْفُسَهُمْۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ١٩

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu seperti orang-orang yang lupa kepada Allah, lalu Allah menjadikan mereka lupa kepada mereka sendiri. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation and be not like those who are oblivious of God, and whom He therefore causes to be oblivious of [what is good for] their own selves: [for] it is they, they who are truly depraved!

لَا يَسْتَوِيْٓ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِ وَاَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِۗ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِ هُمُ الْفَاۤىِٕزُوْنَ ٢٠

ID Translation Tidaklah sama penghuni-penghuni neraka dengan penghuni-penghuni jannah; penghuni-penghuni jannah itulah orang-orang yang beruntung.

EN Translation Not equal are those who are destined for the fire and those who are destined for paradise: those who are destined for paradise - it is they, they [alone] who shall triumph [on Judgment Day]!

لَوْ اَنْزَلْنَا هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ عَلٰى جَبَلٍ لَّرَاَيْتَهٗ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَتِلْكَ الْاَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ ٢١

ID Translation Kalau sekiranya Kami turunkan Al-Quran ini kepada sebuah gunung, pasti kamu akan melihatnya tunduk terpecah belah disebabkan ketakutannya kepada Allah. Dan perumpamaan-perumpamaan itu Kami buat untuk manusia supaya mereka berfikir.

EN Translation HAD WE bestowed this Qur’an from on high upon a mountain, thou wouldst indeed see it humbling itself, breaking asunder for awe of God. And [all] such parables We propound unto men, so that they might [learn to] think.

هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِۚ هُوَ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِيْمُ ٢٢

ID Translation Dialah Allah Yang tiada Tuhan selain Dia, Yang Mengetahui yang ghaib dan yang nyata, Dialah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation GOD IS HE save whom there is no deity: the One who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being’s perception, as well as all that can be wit­nessed by a creature’s senses or mind: He, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace.

هُوَ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۚ اَلْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوْسُ السَّلٰمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُۗ سُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ٢٣

ID Translation Dialah Allah Yang tiada Tuhan selain Dia, Raja, Yang Maha Suci, Yang Maha Sejahtera, Yang Mengaruniakan Keamanan, Yang Maha Memelihara, Yang Maha Perkasa, Yang Maha Kuasa, Yang Memiliki segala Keagungan, Maha Suci Allah dari apa yang mereka persekutukan.

EN Translation God is He save whom there is no deity: the Sovereign Supreme, the Holy, the One with whom all salvation rests, the Giver of Faith, the One who determines what is true and false, the Almighty, the One who subdues wrong and restores right, the One to whom all greatness belongs! Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity!

هُوَ اللّٰهُ الْخَالِقُ الْبَارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ لَهُ الْاَسْمَاۤءُ الْحُسْنٰىۗ يُسَبِّحُ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٢٤

ID Translation Dialah Allah Yang Menciptakan, Yang Mengadakan, Yang Membentuk Rupa, Yang Mempunyai Asmaaul Husna. Bertasbih kepada-Nya apa yang di langit dan bumi. Dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation He is God, the Creator, the Maker who shapes all forms and appearances! His [alone] are the attributes of perfection. All that is in the heavens and on earth extols His limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوْا عَدُوِّيْ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ تُلْقُوْنَ اِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدْ كَفَرُوْا بِمَا جَاۤءَكُمْ مِّنَ الْحَقِّۚ يُخْرِجُوْنَ الرَّسُوْلَ وَاِيَّاكُمْ اَنْ تُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ رَبِّكُمْۗ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ خَرَجْتُمْ جِهَادًا فِيْ سَبِيْلِيْ وَابْتِغَاۤءَ مَرْضَاتِيْ تُسِرُّوْنَ اِلَيْهِمْ بِالْمَوَدَّةِ وَاَنَا۠ اَعْلَمُ بِمَآ اَخْفَيْتُمْ وَمَآ اَعْلَنْتُمْۗ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْهُ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاۤءَ السَّبِيْلِ ١

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu mengambil musuh-Ku dan musuhmu menjadi teman-teman setia yang kamu sampaikan kepada mereka (berita-berita Muhammad), karena rasa kasih sayang; padahal sesungguhnya mereka telah ingkar kepada kebenaran yang datang kepadamu, mereka mengusir Rasul dan (mengusir) kamu karena kamu beriman kepada Allah, Tuhanmu. Jika kamu benar-benar keluar untuk berjihad di jalan-Ku dan mencari keridhaan-Ku (janganlah kamu berbuat demikian). Kamu memberitahukan secara rahasia (berita-berita Muhammad) kepada mereka, karena rasa kasih sayang. Aku lebih mengetahui apa yang kamu sembunyikan dan apa yang kamu nyatakan. Dan barangsiapa di antara kamu yang melakukannya, maka sesungguhnya dia telah tersesat dari jalan yang lurus.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not take My enemies - who are your enemies as well - for your friends, showing them affection even though they are bent on denying whatever truth has come unto you, [and even though] they have driven the Apostle and yourselves away, [only] because you believe in God, your Sustainer! If [it be true that] you have gone forth [from your homes] to strive in My cause, and out of a longing for My goodly acceptance, [do not take them for your friends,] inclining towards them in secret affection: for I am fully aware of all that you may conceal as well as of all that you do openly. And any of you who does this has already strayed from the right path.

اِنْ يَّثْقَفُوْكُمْ يَكُوْنُوْا لَكُمْ اَعْدَاۤءً وَّيَبْسُطُوْٓا اِلَيْكُمْ اَيْدِيَهُمْ وَاَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالسُّوْۤءِ وَوَدُّوْا لَوْ تَكْفُرُوْنَۗ ٢

ID Translation Jika mereka menangkap kamu, niscaya mereka bertindak sebagai musuh bagimu dan melepaskan tangan dan lidah mereka kepadamu dengan menyakiti(mu); dan mereka ingin supaya kamu (kembali) kafir.

EN Translation If they could but overcome you, they would [still] remain your foes, and would stretch forth their hands and tongues against you with evil intent: for they desire that you [too] should deny the truth.

لَنْ تَنْفَعَكُمْ اَرْحَامُكُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُكُمْ ۛيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ ۛيَفْصِلُ بَيْنَكُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ ٣

ID Translation Karib kerabat dan anak-anakmu sekali-sekali tiada bermanfaat bagimu pada Hari Kiamat. Dia akan memisahkan antara kamu. Dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation But [bear in mind that] neither your kinsfolk nor [even] your own children will be of any benefit to you on Resurrection Day, [for then] He will decide between you [on your merit alone]: and God sees all that you do.

قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ اُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِيْٓ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗۚ اِذْ قَالُوْا لِقَوْمِهِمْ اِنَّا بُرَءٰۤؤُا مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۖ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاۤءُ اَبَدًا حَتّٰى تُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَحْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَوْلَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ لِاَبِيْهِ لَاَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَآ اَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۗ رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ اَنَبْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ ٤

ID Translation Sesungguhnya telah ada suri tauladan yang baik bagimu pada Ibrahim dan orang-orang yang bersama dengan dia; ketika mereka berkata kepada kaum mereka: "Sesungguhnya kami berlepas diri daripada kamu dari daripada apa yang kamu sembah selain Allah, kami ingkari (kekafiran)mu dan telah nyata antara kami dan kamu permusuhan dan kebencian buat selama-lamanya sampai kamu beriman kepada Allah saja. Kecuali perkataan Ibrahim kepada bapaknya: "Sesungguhnya aku akan memohonkan ampunan bagi kamu dan aku tiada dapat menolak sesuatupun dari kamu (siksaan) Allah". (Ibrahim berkata): "Ya Tuhan kami hanya kepada Engkaulah kami bertawakkal dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami bertaubat dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami kembali".

EN Translation Indeed, you have had a good example in Abraham and those who followed him, when they said unto their [idolatrous] people: "Verily, we are quit of you and of all that you worship instead of God: we deny the truth of whatever you believe; and between us and you there has arisen enmity and hatred, to last until such a time as you come to believe in the One God!" The only exception was Abraham's saying to his father "I shall indeed pray for [God's] forgiveness for thee, although I have it not in my power to obtain anything from God in thy behalf." [And Abraham and his followers prayed:] "O our Sustainer! In Thee have we placed our trust, and unto Thee do we turn: for unto Thee is all journeys' end.

رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَاۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٥

ID Translation "Ya Tuhan kami, janganlah Engkau jadikan kami (sasaran) fitnah bagi orang-orang kafir. Dan ampunilah kami ya Tuhan kami. Sesungguhnya Engkaulah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana".

EN Translation O our Sustainer! Make us not a plaything for those who are bent on denying the truth! And forgive us our sins, O our sustainer: for Thou alone art, almighty, truly wise!"

لَقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِيْهِمْ اُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو اللّٰهَ وَالْيَوْمَ الْاٰخِرَۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيْدُ ٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada mereka itu (Ibrahim dan umatnya) ada teladan yang baik bagimu; (yaitu) bagi orang-orang yang mengharap (pahala) Allah dan (keselamatan pada) Hari Kemudian. Dan barangsiapa yang berpaling, maka sesungguhnya Allah Dialah yang Maha kaya lagi Maha Terpuji.

EN Translation In them, indeed, you have a good example for everyone who looks forward [with hope and awe] to God and the Last Day. And if any turns away, [let him know that] God is truly self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due."

۞ عَسَى اللّٰهُ اَنْ يَّجْعَلَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَ الَّذِيْنَ عَادَيْتُمْ مِّنْهُمْ مَّوَدَّةًۗ وَاللّٰهُ قَدِيْرٌۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٧

ID Translation Mudah-mudahan Allah menimbulkan kasih sayang antaramu dengan orang-orang yang kamu musuhi di antara mereka. Dan Allah adalah Maha Kuasa. Dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation [But] it may well be that God will bring about [mutual] affection between you [O believers] and some of those whom you [now] face as enemies: for, God is all-powerful - and God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

لَا يَنْهٰىكُمُ اللّٰهُ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوْكُمْ فِى الدِّيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِكُمْ اَنْ تَبَرُّوْهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوْٓا اِلَيْهِمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِيْنَ ٨

ID Translation Allah tidak melarang kamu untuk berbuat baik dan berlaku adil terhadap orang-orang yang tiada memerangimu karena agama dan tidak (pula) mengusir kamu dari negerimu. Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang-orang yang berlaku adil.

EN Translation As for such [of the unbelievers] as do not fight against you on account of [your] faith, and neither drive you forth from your homelands, God does not forbid you to show them kindness and to behave towards them with full equity: for, verily, God loves those who act equitably.

اِنَّمَا يَنْهٰىكُمُ اللّٰهُ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ قَاتَلُوْكُمْ فِى الدِّيْنِ وَاَخْرَجُوْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوْا عَلٰٓى اِخْرَاجِكُمْ اَنْ تَوَلَّوْهُمْۚ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّهُمْ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah hanya melarang kamu menjadikan sebagai kawanmu orang-orang yang memerangimu karena agama dan mengusir kamu dari negerimu, dan membantu (orang lain) untuk mengusirmu. Dan barangsiapa menjadikan mereka sebagai kawan, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation God only forbids you to turn in friendship towards such as fight against you because of [your] faith, and drive you forth from your homelands, or aid [others] in driving you forth: and as for those [from among you] who turn towards them in friendship; it is they, they who are truly wrongdoers!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا جَاۤءَكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنٰتُ مُهٰجِرٰتٍ فَامْتَحِنُوْهُنَّۗ اَللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِاِيْمَانِهِنَّ فَاِنْ عَلِمْتُمُوْهُنَّ مُؤْمِنٰتٍ فَلَا تَرْجِعُوْهُنَّ اِلَى الْكُفَّارِۗ لَا هُنَّ حِلٌّ لَّهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحِلُّوْنَ لَهُنَّۗ وَاٰتُوْهُمْ مَّآ اَنْفَقُوْاۗ وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ اَنْ تَنْكِحُوْهُنَّ اِذَآ اٰتَيْتُمُوْهُنَّ اُجُوْرَهُنَّۗ وَلَا تُمْسِكُوْا بِعِصَمِ الْكَوَافِرِ وَسْـَٔلُوْا مَآ اَنْفَقْتُمْ وَلْيَسْـَٔلُوْا مَآ اَنْفَقُوْاۗ ذٰلِكُمْ حُكْمُ اللّٰهِ ۗيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ١٠

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, apabila datang berhijrah kepadamu perempuan-perempuan yang beriman, maka hendaklah kamu uji (keimanan) mereka. Allah lebih mengetahui tentang keimanan mereka; maka jika kamu telah mengetahui bahwa mereka (benar-benar) beriman maka janganlah kamu kembalikan mereka kepada (suami-suami mereka) orang-orang kafir. Mereka tiada halal bagi orang-orang kafir itu dan orang-orang kafir itu tiada halal pula bagi mereka. Dan berikanlah kepada (suami suami) mereka, mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Dan tiada dosa atasmu mengawini mereka apabila kamu bayar kepada mereka maharnya. Dan janganlah kamu tetap berpegang pada tali (perkawinan) dengan perempuan-perempuan kafir; dan hendaklah kamu minta mahar yang telah kamu bayar; dan hendaklah mereka meminta mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Demikianlah hukum Allah yang ditetapkan-Nya di antara kamu. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Whenever believing women come unto you, forsaking the domain of evil, examine them, [although only] God is fully aware of their faith; and if you have thus ascertained that they are believers, do not send them back to the deniers of the truth, [since] they are [no longer] lawful to their erstwhile husbands, and these are [no longer] lawful to them. None the less, you shall return to them whatever they have spent [on their wives by way of dower]; and [then, O believers,] you will be committing no sin if you marry them after giving them their dowers. On the other hand, hold not to the marriage-tie with women who [continue to] deny the truth, and ask but for [the return of] whatever you have spent [by way of dower] -just as they [whose wives have gone over to you] have the right to demand [the return of] whatever they have spent. Such is God's judgment: He judges between you [in equity] - for God is all-knowing, wise.

وَاِنْ فَاتَكُمْ شَيْءٌ مِّنْ اَزْوَاجِكُمْ اِلَى الْكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبْتُمْ فَاٰتُوا الَّذِيْنَ ذَهَبَتْ اَزْوَاجُهُمْ مِّثْلَ مَآ اَنْفَقُوْاۗ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْتُمْ بِهٖ مُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١١

ID Translation Dan jika seseorang dari isteri-isterimu lari kepada orang-orang kafir, lalu kamu mengalahkan mereka maka bayarkanlah kepada orang-orang yang lari isterinya itu mahar sebanyak yang telah mereka bayar. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah Yang kepada-Nya kamu beriman.

EN Translation And if any of your wives should go over to the deniers of the truth, and you are thus afflicted in turn, then give unto those whose wives have gone away the equivalent of what they had spent [on their wives by way of dower], and remain conscious of God, in whom you believe!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ اِذَا جَاۤءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلٰٓى اَنْ لَّا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا يَسْرِقْنَ وَلَا يَزْنِيْنَ وَلَا يَقْتُلْنَ اَوْلَادَهُنَّ وَلَا يَأْتِيْنَ بِبُهْتَانٍ يَّفْتَرِيْنَهٗ بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِنَّ وَاَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلَا يَعْصِيْنَكَ فِيْ مَعْرُوْفٍ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللّٰهَ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٢

ID Translation Hai Nabi, apabila datang kepadamu perempuan-perempuan yang beriman untuk mengadakan janji setia, bahwa mereka tiada akan menyekutukan Allah, tidak akan mencuri, tidak akan berzina, tidak akan membunuh anak-anaknya, tidak akan berbuat dusta yang mereka ada-adakan antara tangan dan kaki mereka dan tidak akan mendurhakaimu dalam urusan yang baik, maka terimalah janji setia mereka dan mohonkanlah ampunan kepada Allah untuk mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation O Prophet! Whenever believing women come unto thee to pledge their allegiance to thee, [pledging] that [henceforth] they would not ascribe divinity, in any way, to aught but God, and would not steal, and would not commit adultery, and would not kill their children, and would not indulge in slander, falsely devising it out of nothingness: and would not disobey thee in anything [that thou declarest to be] right - then accept their pledge of allegiance, and pray to God to forgive them their [past] sins: for, behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَىِٕسُوْا مِنَ الْاٰخِرَةِ كَمَا يَىِٕسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْقُبُوْرِ ١٣

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu jadikan penolongmu kaum yang dimurkai Allah. Sesungguhnya mereka telah putus asa terhadap negeri akhirat sebagaimana orang-orang kafir yang telah berada dalam kubur berputus asa.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Be not friends with people whom God has condemned! They [who would befriend them] are indeed bereft of all hope of a life to come - just as those deniers of the truth are bereft of all hope of [ever again seeing] those who are [now] in their graves.

سَبَّحَ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١

ID Translation Telah bertasbih kepada Allah apa saja yang ada di langit dan apa saja yang ada di bumi; dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation ALL THAT IS in the heavens and all that is on earth extols God's limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لِمَ تَقُوْلُوْنَ مَا لَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ ٢

ID Translation Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, kenapakah kamu mengatakan sesuatu yang tidak kamu kerjakan?

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Why do you say one thing and do another?

كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ اَنْ تَقُوْلُوْا مَا لَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ ٣

ID Translation Amat besar kebencian di sisi Allah bahwa kamu mengatakan apa-apa yang tidak kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation Most loathsome is it in the sight of God that you say what you do not do!

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الَّذِيْنَ يُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِهٖ صَفًّا كَاَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَّرْصُوْصٌ ٤

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah menyukai orang yang berperang dijalan-Nya dalam barisan yang teratur seakan-akan mereka seperti suatu bangunan yang tersusun kokoh.

EN Translation Verily, God loves [only] those who fight in His cause in [solid] ranks, as though they were a building firm and compact.

وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُوْنَنِيْ وَقَدْ تَّعْلَمُوْنَ اَنِّيْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيْكُمْۗ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوْٓا اَزَاغَ اللّٰهُ قُلُوْبَهُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٥

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: "Hai kaumku, mengapa kamu menyakitiku, sedangkan kamu mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya aku adalah utusan Allah kepadamu?" Maka tatkala mereka berpaling (dari kebenaran), Allah memalingkan hati mereka; dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang fasik.

EN Translation Now when Moses spoke to his people, [it was this same truth that he had in mind:] "O my people! Why do you cause me grief, the while you know that I am an apostle of God sent unto you?" And so, when they swerved from the right way, God let their hearts swerve from the truth: for God does not bestow His guidance upon iniquitous folk.

وَاِذْ قَالَ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يٰبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اِنِّيْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيْكُمْ مُّصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرٰىةِ وَمُبَشِّرًاۢ بِرَسُوْلٍ يَّأْتِيْ مِنْۢ بَعْدِى اسْمُهٗٓ اَحْمَدُۗ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ قَالُوْا هٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ٦

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Isa ibnu Maryam berkata: "Hai Bani Israil, sesungguhnya aku adalah utusan Allah kepadamu, membenarkan kitab sebelumku, yaitu Taurat, dan memberi khabar gembira dengan (datangnya) seorang Rasul yang akan datang sesudahku, yang namanya Ahmad (Muhammad)". Maka tatkala rasul itu datang kepada mereka dengan membawa bukti-bukti yang nyata, mereka berkata: "Ini adalah sihir yang nyata".

EN Translation And [this happened, too,] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O children of Israel! Behold, I am an apostle of God unto you, [sent] to confirm the truth of whatever there still remains of the Torah, and to give [you] the glad tiding of an apostle who shall come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he [whose coming Jesus had foretold] came unto them with all evidence of the truth, they said: "This [alleged message of his] is [nothing but] spellbinding eloquence!"

وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدْعٰىٓ اِلَى الْاِسْلَامِۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٧

ID Translation Dan siapakah yang lebih zalim daripada orang yang mengada-adakan dusta terhadap Allah sedang dia diajak kepada Islam? Dan Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang zalim.

EN Translation And who could be more wicked than one who invents [such] a lie about [a message from] God, seeing that he is [but] being called to self-surrender unto Him? But God does not bestow His guidance upon evil-doing folk.

يُرِيْدُوْنَ لِيُطْفِـُٔوْا نُوْرَ اللّٰهِ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ مُتِمُّ نُوْرِهٖ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ٨

ID Translation Mereka ingin memadamkan cahaya Allah dengan mulut (tipu daya) mereka, tetapi Allah (justru) menyempurnakan cahaya-Nya, walau orang-orang kafir membencinya".

EN Translation They aim to extinguish God's light with their utterances: but God has willed to spread His light in all its fullness, however hateful this may be to all who deny the truth

هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَرْسَلَ رَسُوْلَهٗ بِالْهُدٰى وَدِيْنِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهٗ عَلَى الدِّيْنِ كُلِّهٖۙ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Dialah yang mengutus Rasul-Nya dengan membawa petunjuk dan agama yang benar agar Dia memenangkannya di atas segala agama-agama meskipun orang musyrik membenci.

EN Translation He it is who has sent forth His Apostle with [the task of] spreading guidance and the religion of truth, to the end that He make it prevail over all [false] religion, however hateful this may be to those who ascribe divinity to aught but God.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا هَلْ اَدُلُّكُمْ عَلٰى تِجَارَةٍ تُنْجِيْكُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍ ١٠

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, sukakah kamu aku tunjukkan suatu perniagaan yang dapat menyelamatkanmu dari azab yang pedih?

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Shall I point out to you a bargain that will save you from grievous suffering [in this world and in the life to come]?

تُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَتُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ بِاَمْوَالِكُمْ وَاَنْفُسِكُمْۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَۙ ١١

ID Translation (yaitu) kamu beriman kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan berjihad di jalan Allah dengan harta dan jiwamu. Itulah yang lebih baik bagimu, jika kamu mengetahui.

EN Translation You are to believe in God and His Apostle, and to strive hard in God's cause with your possessions and your lives: this is for your own good - if you but knew it!

يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوْبَكُمْ وَيُدْخِلْكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ وَمَسٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فِيْ جَنّٰتِ عَدْنٍۗ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُۙ ١٢

ID Translation Niscaya Allah akan mengampuni dosa-dosamu dan memasukkanmu ke dalam jannah yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai; dan (memasukkan kamu) ke tempat tinggal yang baik di dalam jannah 'Adn. Itulah keberuntungan yang besar.

EN Translation [If you do so,] He will forgive you your sins, and [in the life to come] will admit you into gardens through which running waters flow, and into goodly mansions in [those] gardens of perpetual bliss: that [will be] the triumph supreme!

وَاُخْرٰى تُحِبُّوْنَهَاۗ نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيْبٌۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٣

ID Translation Dan (ada lagi) karunia yang lain yang kamu sukai (yaitu) pertolongan dari Allah dan kemenangan yang dekat (waktunya). Dan sampaikanlah berita gembira kepada orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation And [withal, He will grant you] yet another thing that you dearly love: succour from God [in this world], and a victory soon to come: and [thereof, O Prophet,] give thou a glad tiding to all who believe.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُوْنُوْٓا اَنْصَارَ اللّٰهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِيْسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ لِلْحَوَارِيّٖنَ مَنْ اَنْصَارِيْٓ اِلَى اللّٰهِ ۗقَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّوْنَ نَحْنُ اَنْصَارُ اللّٰهِ فَاٰمَنَتْ طَّاۤىِٕفَةٌ مِّنْۢ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ وَكَفَرَتْ طَّاۤىِٕفَةٌ ۚفَاَيَّدْنَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا عَلٰى عَدُوِّهِمْ فَاَصْبَحُوْا ظَاهِرِيْنَ ١٤

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, jadilah kamu penolong (agama) Allah sebagaimana Isa ibnu Maryam telah berkata kepada pengikut-pengikutnya yang setia: "Siapakah yang akan menjadi penolong-penolongku (untuk menegakkan agama) Allah?" Pengikut-pengikut yang setia itu berkata: "Kamilah penolong-penolong agama Allah", lalu segolongan dari Bani Israil beriman dan segolongan lain kafir; maka Kami berikan kekuatan kepada orang-orang yang beriman terhadap musuh-musuh mereka, lalu mereka menjadi orang-orang yang menang.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Be helpers [in the cause of God - even as Jesus, the son of Mary, said unto the white-garbed ones, "Who will be my helpers in God's cause?" - whereupon the white-garbed [disciples] replied, "We shall be [thy] helpers [in the cause] of God!" And so [it happened that] some of the children of Israel came to believe [in the apostleship of Jesus], whereas others denied the truth. But [now] We have given strength against their foes unto those who have [truly] attained to faith: and they have become the ones that shall prevail.

يُسَبِّحُ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ الْمَلِكِ الْقُدُّوْسِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَكِيْمِ ١

ID Translation Senantiasa bertasbih kepada Allah apa yang ada di langit dan apa yang ada di bumi. Raja, Yang Maha Suci, Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation ALL THAT IS in the heavens and all that is on earth extols the limitless glory of God, the Sovereign Supreme, the Holy, the Almighty, the Wise!

هُوَ الَّذِيْ بَعَثَ فِى الْاُمِّيّٖنَ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَاِنْ كَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍۙ ٢

ID Translation Dialah yang mengutus kepada kaum yang buta huruf seorang Rasul di antara mereka, yang membacakan ayat-ayat-Nya kepada mereka, mensucikan mereka dan mengajarkan mereka Kitab dan Hikmah (As Sunnah). Dan sesungguhnya mereka sebelumnya benar-benar dalam kesesatan yang nyata,

EN Translation He it is who has sent unto the unlettered people an apostle from among themselves, to convey unto them His messages, and to cause them to grow in purity, and to impart unto them the divine writ as well as wisdom - whereas before that they were indeed, most obviously, lost in error

وَّاٰخَرِيْنَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوْا بِهِمْۗ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُۙ ٣

ID Translation dan (juga) kepada kaum yang lain dari mereka yang belum berhubungan dengan mereka. Dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation and [to cause this message to spread] from them unto other people as soon as they come into contact with them: for He alone is almighty, truly wise!

ذٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ يُؤْتِيْهِ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُۗ وَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ ٤

ID Translation Demikianlah karunia Allah, diberikan-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya; dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar.

EN Translation Such is God's bounty: He grants it to anyone who is willing [to receive it]: for God is limitless in His great bounty.

مَثَلُ الَّذِيْنَ حُمِّلُوا التَّوْرٰىةَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَحْمِلُوْهَا كَمَثَلِ الْحِمَارِ يَحْمِلُ اَسْفَارًاۗ بِئْسَ مَثَلُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٥

ID Translation Perumpamaan orang-orang yang dipikulkan kepadanya Taurat, kemudian mereka tiada memikulnya adalah seperti keledai yang membawa kitab-kitab yang tebal. Amatlah buruknya perumpamaan kaum yang mendustakan ayat-ayat Allah itu. Dan Allah tiada memberi petunjuk kepada kaum yang zalim.

EN Translation THE PARABLE of those who were graced with the burden of the Torah, and thereafter failed to bear this burden, is that of an ass that carries a load of books [but cannot benefit from them]. Calamitous is the parable of people who are bent on giving the lie to God's messages - for God does not bestow His guidance upon such evildoing folk!

قُلْ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْٓا اِنْ زَعَمْتُمْ اَنَّكُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءُ لِلّٰهِ مِنْ دُوْنِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٦

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Hai orang-orang yang menganut agama Yahudi, jika kamu mendakwakan bahwa sesungguhnya kamu sajalah kekasih Allah bukan manusia-manusia yang lain, maka harapkanlah kematianmu, jika kamu adalah orang-orang yang benar".

EN Translation Say: "O you who follow the Jewish faith! If you claim that you [alone] are close to God, to the exclusion of all other people, then you should be longing for death - if what you say is true!"

وَلَا يَتَمَنَّوْنَهٗٓ اَبَدًاۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَيْدِيْهِمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِالظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٧

ID Translation Mereka tiada akan mengharapkan kematian itu selama-lamanya disebabkan kejahatan yang telah mereka perbuat dengan tangan mereka sendiri. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui akan orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation But never will they long for it, because [they are aware] of what their hands have wrought in this world; and God has full knowledge of evildoers.

قُلْ اِنَّ الْمَوْتَ الَّذِيْ تَفِرُّوْنَ مِنْهُ فَاِنَّهٗ مُلٰقِيْكُمْ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّوْنَ اِلٰى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٨

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya kematian yang kamu lari daripadanya, maka sesungguhnya kematian itu akan menemui kamu, kemudian kamu akan dikembalikan kepada (Allah), yang mengetahui yang ghaib dan yang nyata, lalu Dia beritakan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan".

EN Translation Say: "Behold, the death from which you are fleeing is bound to overtake you - and then you will be brought back unto Him who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind, whereupon He will make you truly understand all that you were doing [in life].

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا نُوْدِيَ لِلصَّلٰوةِ مِنْ يَّوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا اِلٰى ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman, apabila diseru untuk menunaikan shalat Jum'at, maka bersegeralah kamu kepada mengingat Allah dan tinggalkanlah jual beli. Yang demikian itu lebih baik bagimu jika kamu mengetahui.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! When the call to prayer is sounded on the day of congregation, hasten to the remembrance of God, and leave all worldly commerce: this is for your own good, if you but knew it.

فَاِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلٰوةُ فَانْتَشِرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوْا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثِيْرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Apabila telah ditunaikan shalat, maka bertebaranlah kamu di muka bumi; dan carilah karunia Allah dan ingatlah Allah banyak-banyak supaya kamu beruntung.

EN Translation And when the prayer is ended, disperse freely on earth and seek to obtain [something] of God's bounty; but remember God often, so that you might attain to a happy state!

وَاِذَا رَاَوْا تِجَارَةً اَوْ لَهْوًا ۨانْفَضُّوْٓا اِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوْكَ قَاۤىِٕمًاۗ قُلْ مَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِۗ وَاللّٰهُ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ ١١

ID Translation Dan apabila mereka melihat perniagaan atau permainan, mereka bubar untuk menuju kepadanya dan mereka tinggalkan kamu sedang berdiri (berkhotbah). Katakanlah: "Apa yang di sisi Allah lebih baik daripada permainan dan perniagaan", dan Allah Sebaik-baik Pemberi rezeki.

EN Translation Yet [it does happen that] when people become aware of [an occasion for] worldly gain or a passing delight, they rush headlong towards it, and leave thee standing [and preaching]. Say: "That which is with God is far better than all passing delight and all gain! And God is the best of providers!"

اِذَا جَاۤءَكَ الْمُنٰفِقُوْنَ قَالُوْا نَشْهَدُ اِنَّكَ لَرَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ۘوَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ اِنَّكَ لَرَسُوْلُهٗ ۗوَاللّٰهُ يَشْهَدُ اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ لَكٰذِبُوْنَۚ ١

ID Translation Apabila orang-orang munafik datang kepadamu, mereka berkata: "Kami mengakui, bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul Allah". Dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar Rasul-Nya; dan Allah mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu benar-benar orang pendusta.

EN Translation WHEN THE HYPOCRITES come unto thee, they say, "We bear witness that thou art indeed God's Apostle!" But God knows that thou art truly His Apostle; and He bears witness that the hypocrites are indeed false [in their declaration of faith].

اِتَّخَذُوْٓا اَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوْا عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهُمْ سَاۤءَ مَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٢

ID Translation Mereka itu menjadikan sumpah mereka sebagai perisai, lalu mereka menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah. Sesungguhnya amat buruklah apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation They have made their oaths a cover [for their falseness], and thus they turn others away from the Path of God. Evil indeed is all that they are wont to do:

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ اٰمَنُوْا ثُمَّ كَفَرُوْا فَطُبِعَ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ٣

ID Translation Yang demikian itu adalah karena bahwa sesungguhnya mereka telah beriman, kemudian menjadi kafir (lagi) lalu hati mereka dikunci mati; karena itu mereka tidak dapat mengerti.

EN Translation this, because [they profess that] they have attained to faith, whereas [inwardly] they deny the truth - and so, a seal has been set on their hearts so that they can no longer understand [what is true and what false].

۞ وَاِذَا رَاَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ اَجْسَامُهُمْۗ وَاِنْ يَّقُوْلُوْا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْۗ كَاَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُّسَنَّدَةٌ ۗيَحْسَبُوْنَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْۗ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْۗ قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۖاَنّٰى يُؤْفَكُوْنَ ٤

ID Translation Dan apabila kamu melihat mereka, tubuh-tubuh mereka menjadikan kamu kagum. Dan jika mereka berkata kamu mendengarkan perkataan mereka. Mereka adalah seakan-akan kayu yang tersandar. Mereka mengira bahwa tiap-tiap teriakan yang keras ditujukan kepada mereka. Mereka itulah musuh (yang sebenarnya) maka waspadalah terhadap mereka; semoga Allah membinasakan mereka. Bagaimanakah mereka sampai dipalingkan (dari kebenaran)?

EN Translation Now when thou seest them, their outward appearance may please thee; and when they speak, thou art inclined to lend ear to what they say. [But though they may seem as sure of themselves] as if they were timbers [firmly] propped up, they think that every shout is [directed] against them. They are the [real] enemies [of all faith], so beware of them. [They deserve the imprecation,] "May God destroy them!" How perverted are their minds!

وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا يَسْتَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ لَوَّوْا رُءُوْسَهُمْ وَرَاَيْتَهُمْ يَصُدُّوْنَ وَهُمْ مُّسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ٥

ID Translation Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: Marilah (beriman), agar Rasulullah memintakan ampunan bagimu, mereka membuang muka mereka dan kamu lihat mereka berpaling sedang mereka menyombongkan diri.

EN Translation for, when they are told, "Come, the Apostle of God will pray [unto God] that you be forgiven", they turn their heads away, and thou canst see how they draw back in their false pride.

سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ اَسْتَغْفَرْتَ لَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْۗ لَنْ يَّغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ٦

ID Translation Sama saja bagi mereka, kamu mintakan ampunan atau tidak kamu mintakan ampunan bagi mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation As for them it is all the same whether thou dost pray that they be forgiven or dost not pray for them: God will nor forgive them - for, behold, God does not bestow His guidance upon such iniquitous folk.

هُمُ الَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ لَا تُنْفِقُوْا عَلٰى مَنْ عِنْدَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ حَتّٰى يَنْفَضُّوْاۗ وَلِلّٰهِ خَزَاۤىِٕنُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۙ وَلٰكِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ لَا يَفْقَهُوْنَ ٧

ID Translation Mereka orang-orang yang mengatakan (kepada orang-orang Anshar): "Janganlah kamu memberikan perbelanjaan kepada orang-orang (Muhajirin) yang ada disisi Rasulullah supaya mereka bubar (meninggalkan Rasulullah)". Padahal kepunyaan Allah-lah perbendaharaan langit dan bumi, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tidak memahami.

EN Translation It is they who say [to their compatriots], "Do not spend anything on those who are with God's Apostle, so that they [may be forced to] leave." However, unto God belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth: but this truth the hypocrites cannot grasp.

يَقُوْلُوْنَ لَىِٕنْ رَّجَعْنَآ اِلَى الْمَدِيْنَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْاَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الْاَذَلَّ ۗوَلِلّٰهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُوْلِهٖ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَلٰكِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٨

ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya jika kita telah kembali ke Madinah, benar-benar orang yang kuat akan mengusir orang-orang yang lemah dari padanya". Padahal kekuatan itu hanyalah bagi Allah, bagi Rasul-Nya dan bagi orang-orang mukmin, tetapi orang-orang munafik itu tiada mengetahui.

EN Translation [And] they say, "Indeed, when we return to the City [we,] the ones most worthy of honour will surely drive out therefrom those most contemptible ones!" However, all honour belongs to God, and [thus] to His Apostle and those who believe [in God]: but of this the hypocrites are not aware.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تُلْهِكُمْ اَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَآ اَوْلَادُكُمْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ ۚوَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ٩

ID Translation Hai orang-orang beriman, janganlah hartamu dan anak-anakmu melalaikan kamu dari mengingat Allah. Barangsiapa yang berbuat demikian maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang merugi.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Let not your worldly goods or your children make you oblivious of the remembrance of God: for If any behave thus - it is they, they who are the losers!

وَاَنْفِقُوْا مِنْ مَّا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَّأْتِيَ اَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُوْلَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ اَخَّرْتَنِيْٓ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ قَرِيْبٍۚ فَاَصَّدَّقَ وَاَكُنْ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Dan belanjakanlah sebagian dari apa yang telah Kami berikan kepadamu sebelum datang kematian kepada salah seorang di antara kamu; lalu ia berkata: "Ya Rabb-ku, mengapa Engkau tidak menangguhkan (kematian)ku sampai waktu yang dekat, yang menyebabkan aku dapat bersedekah dan aku termasuk orang-orang yang saleh?"

EN Translation And spend on others out of what We have provided for you as sustenance, ere there come a time when death approaches any of you, and he then says, "O my Sustainer! If only Thou wouldst grant me a delay for a short while, so that I could give in charity and be among the righteous!"

وَلَنْ يُّؤَخِّرَ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِذَا جَاۤءَ اَجَلُهَاۗ وَاللّٰهُ خَبِيْرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١١

ID Translation Dan Allah sekali-kali tidak akan menangguhkan (kematian) seseorang apabila telah datang waktu kematiannya. Dan Allah Maha Mengenal apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation But never does God grant a delay to a human being when his term has come; and God is fully aware of all that you do.

يُسَبِّحُ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُۖ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١

ID Translation Bertasbih kepada Allah apa yang ada di langit dan apa yang ada di bumi; hanya Allah lah yang mempunyai semua kerajaan dan semua pujian, dan Dia Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation ALL THAT IS in the heavens and all that is on earth extols God's limitless glory: His is all dominion, and to Him all praise is due; and He has the power to will anything.

هُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنْكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَّمِنْكُمْ مُّؤْمِنٌۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ ٢

ID Translation Dialah yang menciptakan kamu maka di antara kamu ada yang kafir dan di antaramu ada yang mukmin. Dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation He it is who has created you: and among you are such as deny this truth, and among you are such as believe [in it]. And God sees all that you do.

خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَاَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْۚ وَاِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ ٣

ID Translation Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi dengan haq. Dia membentuk rupamu dan dibaguskan-Nya rupamu itu dan hanya kepada Allah-lah kembali(mu).

EN Translation He has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with [an inner] truth, and has formed you - and formed you so well; and with Him is your journey's end.

يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّوْنَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُوْنَۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ٤

ID Translation Dia mengetahui apa yang ada di langit dan di bumi dan mengetahui apa yang kamu rahasiakan dan yang kamu nyatakan. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui segala isi hati.

EN Translation He knows all that is in the heavens and on earth; and He knows all that you keep secret as well as all that you bring into the open: for God has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men].

اَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖفَذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ٥

ID Translation Apakah belum datang kepadamu (hai orang-orang kafir) berita orang-orang kafir terdahulu. Maka mereka telah merasakan akibat yang buruk dari perbuatan mereka dan mereka memperoleh azab yang pedih.

EN Translation HAVE THE STORIES of those who, in earlier times, refused to acknowledge the truth never yet come within your ken? [They denied it -] and so they had to taste the evil outcome of their own doings, with [more] grievous suffering awaiting them [in the life to come]:

ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهٗ كَانَتْ تَّأْتِيْهِمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ فَقَالُوْٓا اَبَشَرٌ يَّهْدُوْنَنَاۖ فَكَفَرُوْا وَتَوَلَّوْا وَّاسْتَغْنَى اللّٰهُ ۗوَاللّٰهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيْدٌ ٦

ID Translation Yang demikian itu adalah karena sesungguhnya telah datang kepada mereka Rasul-Rasul mereka membawa keterangan-keterangan lalu mereka berkata: "Apakah manusia yang akan memberi petunjuk kepada kami?" lalu mereka ingkar dan berpaling; dan Allah tidak memerlukan (mereka). Dan Allah Maha Kaya lagi Maha Terpuji.

EN Translation this, because time and again there came unto them their apostles with all evidence of the truth, but they [always] replied, "Shall mere mortal men be our guides?" And so they. denied the truth and turned away. But God was not in need [of them]: for God is self-sufficient, ever to be praised.

زَعَمَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْٓا اَنْ لَّنْ يُّبْعَثُوْاۗ قُلْ بَلٰى وَرَبِّيْ لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْۗ وَذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيْرٌ ٧

ID Translation Orang-orang yang kafir mengatakan bahwa mereka sekali-kali tidak akan dibangkitkan. Katakanlah: "Memang, demi Tuhanku, benar-benar kamu akan dibangkitkan, kemudian akan diberitakan kepadamu apa yang telah kamu kerjakan". Yang demikian itu adalah mudah bagi Allah.

EN Translation They who are bent on denying the truth claim that they will never be raised from the dead! Say: "Yea, by my Sustainer! Most surely will you be raised from the dead, and then, most surely, will you be made to understand what you did [in life]! For, easy is this for God!"

فَاٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَالنُّوْرِ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْزَلْنَاۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ٨

ID Translation Maka berimanlah kamu kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan kepada cahaya (Al-Quran) yang telah Kami turunkan. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation Believe then, [O men,] in God and His Apostle, and in the light [of revelation] which We have bestowed [on you] from on high! And God is fully aware of all that you do.

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِۗ وَمَنْ يُّؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُّكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّاٰتِهٖ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًاۗ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُ ٩

ID Translation (Ingatlah) hari (dimana) Allah mengumpulkan kamu pada hari pengumpulan, itulah hari dinampakkan kesalahan-kesalahan. Dan barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah dan beramal saleh, niscaya Allah akan menutupi kesalahan-kesalahannya dan memasukkannya ke dalam jannah yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Itulah keberuntungan yang besar.

EN Translation [Think of] the time when He shall gather you all together unto the Day of the [Last] Gathering - that Day of Loss and Gain! For, as for him who shall have believed in God and done what is just and right, He will [on that Day] efface his bad deeds, and will admit him into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time: that will be a triumph supreme!

وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ١٠

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang kafir dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami, mereka itulah penghuni-penghuni neraka, mereka kekal di dalamnya. Dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali.

EN Translation But as for those who are bent on denying the truth and on giving the lie to Our messages - they are destined for the fire, therein to abide: and how vile a journey’s end!

مَآ اَصَابَ مِنْ مُّصِيْبَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَمَنْ يُّؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهٗ ۗوَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ١١

ID Translation Tidak ada suatu musibah pun yang menimpa seseorang kecuali dengan ijin Allah; dan barangsiapa yang beriman kepada Allah niscaya Dia akan memberi petunjuk kepada hatinya. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu.

EN Translation NO CALAMITY can ever befall [man] unless it be by God's leave: hence, whoever believes in God guides his [own] heart [towards this truth]; and God has full knowledge of everything.

وَاَطِيْعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوا الرَّسُوْلَۚ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَاِنَّمَا عَلٰى رَسُوْلِنَا الْبَلٰغُ الْمُبِيْنُ ١٢

ID Translation Dan taatlah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepada Rasul-Nya, jika kamu berpaling sesungguhnya kewajiban Rasul Kami hanyalah menyampaikan (amanat Allah) dengan terang.

EN Translation Pay heed, then, unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle; and if you turn away, [know that] Our Apostle's only duty is a clear delivery of this message:

اَللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۗ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٣

ID Translation (Dialah) Allah tidak ada Tuhan selain Dia. Dan hendaklah orang-orang mukmin bertawakkal kepada Allah saja.

EN Translation God - there is no deity save Him! In God then let the believers place their trust.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِنَّ مِنْ اَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَاَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوْهُمْۚ وَاِنْ تَعْفُوْا وَتَصْفَحُوْا وَتَغْفِرُوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١٤

ID Translation Hai orang-orang mukmin, sesungguhnya di antara isteri-isterimu dan anak-anakmu ada yang menjadi musuh bagimu maka berhati-hatilah kamu terhadap mereka dan jika kamu memaafkan dan tidak memarahi serta mengampuni (mereka) maka sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Behold, some of your spouses and your children are enemies unto you: so beware of them! But if you pardon [their faults] and forbear, and forgive-then, behold, God will be much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

اِنَّمَآ اَمْوَالُكُمْ وَاَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۗوَاللّٰهُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اَجْرٌ عَظِيْمٌ ١٥

ID Translation Sesungguhnya hartamu dan anak-anakmu hanyalah cobaan (bagimu), dan di sisi Allah-lah pahala yang besar.

EN Translation Your worldly goods and your children are but a trial and a temptation, whereas with God there is a tremendous reward.

فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَاسْمَعُوْا وَاَطِيْعُوْا وَاَنْفِقُوْا خَيْرًا لِّاَنْفُسِكُمْۗ وَمَنْ يُّوْقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهٖ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ١٦

ID Translation Maka bertakwalah kamu kepada Allah menurut kesanggupanmu dan dengarlah serta taatlah dan nafkahkanlah nafkah yang baik untuk dirimu. Dan barangsiapa yang dipelihara dari kekikiran dirinya, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang beruntung.

EN Translation Remain, then, conscious of God as best you can, and listen [to Him], and pay heed. And spend in charity for the good of your own selves: for, such as from their own covetousness are saved – it is they, they that shall attain to a happy state!

اِنْ تُقْرِضُوا اللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُّضٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ شَكُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌۙ ١٧

ID Translation Jika kamu meminjamkan kepada Allah pinjaman yang baik, niscaya Allah melipat gandakan balasannya kepadamu dan mengampuni kamu. Dan Allah Maha Pembalas Jasa lagi Maha Penyantun.

EN Translation If you offer up to God a goodly loan, He will amply repay you for it, and will forgive you your sins: for God is ever responsive to gratitude, forbearing,

عٰلِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١٨

ID Translation Yang mengetahui yang ghaib dan yang nyata. Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind - the Almighty, the Wise!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ اِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاۤءَ فَطَلِّقُوْهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَاَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ رَبَّكُمْۚ لَا تُخْرِجُوْهُنَّ مِنْۢ بُيُوْتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْ يَّأْتِيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُّبَيِّنَةٍۗ وَتِلْكَ حُدُوْدُ اللّٰهِ ۗوَمَنْ يَّتَعَدَّ حُدُوْدَ اللّٰهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهٗ ۗ لَا تَدْرِيْ لَعَلَّ اللّٰهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ اَمْرًا ١

ID Translation Hai Nabi, apabila kamu menceraikan isteri-isterimu maka hendaklah kamu ceraikan mereka pada waktu mereka dapat (menghadapi) iddahnya (yang wajar) dan hitunglah waktu iddah itu serta bertakwalah kepada Allah Tuhanmu. Janganlah kamu keluarkan mereka dari rumah mereka dan janganlah mereka (diizinkan) ke luar kecuali mereka mengerjakan perbuatan keji yang terang. Itulah hukum-hukum Allah dan barangsiapa yang melanggar hukum-hukum Allah, maka sesungguhnya dia telah berbuat zalim terhadap dirinya sendiri. Kamu tidak mengetahui barangkali Allah mengadakan sesudah itu sesuatu hal yang baru.

EN Translation O PROPHET! When you [intend to divorce women, divorce them with a view to the waiting period appointed for them, and reckon the period [carefully], and be conscious of God, your Sustainer. Do not expel them from their homes; and neither shall they [be made to] leave unless they become openly guilty of immoral conduct. These, then, are the bounds set by God - and he who transgresses the bounds set by God does indeed sin against himself: [for, O man, although] thou knowest it not, after that [first breach] God may well cause something new to come about.

فَاِذَا بَلَغْنَ اَجَلَهُنَّ فَاَمْسِكُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ اَوْ فَارِقُوْهُنَّ بِمَعْرُوْفٍ وَّاَشْهِدُوْا ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ مِّنْكُمْ وَاَقِيْمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ لِلّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكُمْ يُوْعَظُ بِهٖ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ ەۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مَخْرَجًا ۙ ٢

ID Translation Apabila mereka telah mendekati akhir iddahnya, maka rujukilah mereka dengan baik atau lepaskanlah mereka dengan baik dan persaksikanlah dengan dua orang saksi yang adil di antara kamu dan hendaklah kamu tegakkan kesaksian itu karena Allah. Demikianlah diberi pengajaran dengan itu orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat. Barangsiapa bertakwa kepada Allah niscaya Dia akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar.

EN Translation And so, when they are about to reach the end of their waiting-term, either retain them in a fair manner or part with them in a fair manner. And let two persons of [known] probity from among your own community witness [what you have decided]; and do yourselves bear true witness before God: thus are admonished all who believe in God and the Last Day. And unto everyone who is conscious of God, He [always] grants a way out [of unhappiness],

وَّيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهٗ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بَالِغُ اَمْرِهٖۗ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا ٣

ID Translation Dan memberinya rezeki dari arah yang tiada disangka-sangkanya. Dan barangsiapa yang bertawakkal kepada Allah niscaya Allah akan mencukupkan (keperluan)nya. Sesungguhnya Allah melaksanakan urusan yang (dikehendaki)Nya. Sesungguhnya Allah telah mengadakan ketentuan bagi tiap-tiap sesuatu.

EN Translation and provides for him in a manner beyond all expectation; and for everyone who places his trust in God He [alone] is enough. Verily, God always attains to His purpose: [and] indeed, unto everything has God appointed its [term and] measure.

وَالّٰۤـِٔيْ يَىِٕسْنَ مِنَ الْمَحِيْضِ مِنْ نِّسَاۤىِٕكُمْ اِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلٰثَةُ اَشْهُرٍۙ وَّالّٰۤـِٔيْ لَمْ يَحِضْنَۗ وَاُولَاتُ الْاَحْمَالِ اَجَلُهُنَّ اَنْ يَّضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَّهٗ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ يُسْرًا ٤

ID Translation Dan perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haid lagi (monopause) di antara perempuan-perempuanmu jika kamu ragu-ragu (tentang masa iddahnya), maka masa iddah mereka adalah tiga bulan; dan begitu (pula) perempuan-perempuan yang tidak haid. Dan perempuan-perempuan yang hamil, waktu iddah mereka itu ialah sampai mereka melahirkan kandungannya. Dan barang -siapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, niscaya Allah menjadikan baginya kemudahan dalam urusannya.

EN Translation Now as for such of your women as are beyond, the age of monthly courses, as well as for such as do not have any courses, their waiting-period - if you have any doubt [about it] - shall be three [calendar] months; and as for those who are with child, the end of their waiting-term shall come when they deliver their burden. And for everyone who is conscious of God, He makes it easy to obey His commandment:

ذٰلِكَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ اَنْزَلَهٗٓ اِلَيْكُمْۗ وَمَنْ يَّتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّاٰتِهٖ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهٗٓ اَجْرًا ٥

ID Translation Itulah perintah Allah yang diturunkan-Nya kepada kamu, dan barangsiapa yang bertakwa kepada Allah, niscaya Dia akan menghapus kesalahan-kesalahannya dan akan melipat gandakan pahala baginya.

EN Translation [for] all this is God's commandment, which He has bestowed upon you from on high. And unto everyone who is conscious of God will He pardon [some of] his bad deeds, and will grant him a vast reward.

اَسْكِنُوْهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ سَكَنْتُمْ مِّنْ وُّجْدِكُمْ وَلَا تُضَاۤرُّوْهُنَّ لِتُضَيِّقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّۗ وَاِنْ كُنَّ اُولَاتِ حَمْلٍ فَاَنْفِقُوْا عَلَيْهِنَّ حَتّٰى يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّۚ فَاِنْ اَرْضَعْنَ لَكُمْ فَاٰتُوْهُنَّ اُجُوْرَهُنَّۚ وَأْتَمِرُوْا بَيْنَكُمْ بِمَعْرُوْفٍۚ وَاِنْ تَعَاسَرْتُمْ فَسَتُرْضِعُ لَهٗٓ اُخْرٰىۗ ٦

ID Translation Tempatkanlah mereka (para isteri) di mana kamu bertempat tinggal menurut kemampuanmu dan janganlah kamu menyusahkan mereka untuk menyempitkan (hati) mereka. Dan jika mereka (isteri-isteri yang sudah ditalaq) itu sedang hamil, maka berikanlah kepada mereka nafkahnya hingga mereka bersalin, kemudian jika mereka menyusukan (anak-anak)mu untukmu maka berikanlah kepada mereka upahnya, dan musyawarahkanlah di antara kamu (segala sesuatu) dengan baik; dan jika kamu menemui kesulitan maka perempuan lain boleh menyusukan (anak itu) untuknya.

EN Translation [Hence,] let the women [who are undergoing a waiting-period] live in the same manner as you live yourselves, In accordance with your means; and do not harass them with a view to making their lives a misery. And if they happen to be with child, spend freely on them until they deliver their burden; and if they nurse your offspring [after the divorce has become final], give them their [due] recompense; and take counsel with one another in a fair manner [about the child's future]. And if both of you find it difficult [that the mother should nurse the child], let another woman nurse it on behalf of him [who has begotten it].

لِيُنْفِقْ ذُوْ سَعَةٍ مِّنْ سَعَتِهٖۗ وَمَنْ قُدِرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهٗ فَلْيُنْفِقْ مِمَّآ اٰتٰىهُ اللّٰهُ ۗ لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا مَآ اٰتٰىهَاۗ سَيَجْعَلُ اللّٰهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُّسْرًا ٧

ID Translation Hendaklah orang yang mampu memberi nafkah menurut kemampuannya. Dan orang yang disempitkan rezekinya hendaklah memberi nafkah dari harta yang diberikan Allah kepadanya. Allah tidak memikulkan beban kepada seseorang melainkan sekedar apa yang Allah berikan kepadanya. Allah kelak akan memberikan kelapangan sesudah kesempitan.

EN Translation [In all these respects,] let him who has ample means spend in accordance with his amplitude; and let him whose means of subsistence are scanty spend in accordance with what God has given him: God does not burden any human being with more than He has given him - [and it may well be that] God will grant, after hardship, ease.

وَكَاَيِّنْ مِّنْ قَرْيَةٍ عَتَتْ عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهٖ فَحَاسَبْنٰهَا حِسَابًا شَدِيْدًاۙ وَّعَذَّبْنٰهَا عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا ٨

ID Translation Dan berapalah banyaknya (penduduk) negeri yang mendurhakai perintah Tuhan mereka dan Rasul-rasul-Nya, maka Kami hisab penduduk negeri itu dengan hisab yang keras, dan Kami azab mereka dengan azab yang mengerikan.

EN Translation AND HOW MANY a community has turned with disdain from the commandment of its Sustainer and His apostles! -whereupon We callled them all to account with an accounting severe, and caused them to suffer with a suffering unnameable:

فَذَاقَتْ وَبَالَ اَمْرِهَا وَكَانَ عَاقِبَةُ اَمْرِهَا خُسْرًا ٩

ID Translation Maka mereka merasakan akibat yang buruk dari perbuatannya, dan adalah akibat perbuatan mereka kerugian yang besar.

EN Translation and thus they had to taste the evil outcome of their own doing: for, [in this world,] the end of their doings was ruin,

اَعَدَّ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًا ۖفَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ يٰٓاُولِى الْاَلْبَابِۛ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۛ قَدْ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًاۙ ١٠

ID Translation Allah menyediakan bagi mereka azab yang keras, maka bertakwalah kepada Allah hai orang-orang yang mempunyai akal; (yaitu) orang-orang yang beriman. Sesungguhnya Allah telah menurunkan peringatan kepadamu,

EN Translation [the while] God has readied for them [yet more] suffering severe [in the life to come] Hence, remain conscious of God, O you who are endowed with insight - [you] who have attained to faith! God has indeed bestowed on you a reminder from on high:

رَّسُوْلًا يَّتْلُوْا عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ مُبَيِّنٰتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِۗ وَمَنْ يُّؤْمِنْۢ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا يُّدْخِلْهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَبَدًاۗ قَدْ اَحْسَنَ اللّٰهُ لَهٗ رِزْقًا ١١

ID Translation (Dan mengutus) seorang Rasul yang membacakan kepadamu ayat-ayat Allah yang menerangkan (bermacam-macam hukum) supaya Dia mengeluarkan orang-orang yang beriman dan beramal saleh dari kegelapan kepada cahaya. Dan barangsiapa beriman kepada Allah dan mengerjakan amal yang saleh niscaya Allah akan memasukkannya ke dalam surga-surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai; mereka kekal di dalamnya selama-lamanya. Sesungguhnya Allah memberikan rezeki yang baik kepadanya.

EN Translation [He has sent] an apostle who conveys unto you God's clear messages, so that He might those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds out of the depths of darkness into the light. And whoever believes in God and does what is right and just, him will He admit into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time: indeed, a most goodly provision will God have granted him!

اَللّٰهُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ وَّمِنَ الْاَرْضِ مِثْلَهُنَّۗ يَتَنَزَّلُ الْاَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ لِتَعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ەۙ وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ قَدْ اَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ١٢

ID Translation Allah-lah yang menciptakan tujuh langit dan seperti itu pula bumi. Perintah Allah berlaku padanya, agar kamu mengetahui bahwasanya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu, dan sesungguhnya Allah ilmu-Nya benar-benar meliputi segala sesuatu.

EN Translation GOD is He who has created seven heavens, and, like them, [the many aspects] of the earth. Through all of them flows down from on high, unceasingly, His [creative] will, so that you might come to know that God has the power to will anything, and that God encompasses all things with His knowledge.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ اَحَلَّ اللّٰهُ لَكَۚ تَبْتَغِيْ مَرْضَاتَ اَزْوَاجِكَۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١

ID Translation Hai Nabi, mengapa kamu mengharamkan apa yang Allah halalkan bagimu; kamu mencari kesenangan hati isteri-isterimu? Dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang

EN Translation O PROPHET! Why dost thou, out of a desire to please [one or another of] thy wives, impose [on thyself] a prohibition of something that God has made lawful to thee? But God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace:

قَدْ فَرَضَ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ تَحِلَّةَ اَيْمَانِكُمْۚ وَاللّٰهُ مَوْلٰىكُمْۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٢

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah telah mewajibkan kepadamu sekalian membebaskan diri dari sumpahmu dan Allah adalah Pelindungmu dan Dia Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation God has already enjoined upon you [O believers] the breaking and expiation of [such of] your oaths [as may run counter to what is right and just]: for, God is your Lord Supreme, and He alone is all-knowing, truly wise.

وَاِذْ اَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ اِلٰى بَعْضِ اَزْوَاجِهٖ حَدِيْثًاۚ فَلَمَّا نَبَّاَتْ بِهٖ وَاَظْهَرَهُ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرَّفَ بَعْضَهٗ وَاَعْرَضَ عَنْۢ بَعْضٍۚ فَلَمَّا نَبَّاَهَا بِهٖ قَالَتْ مَنْ اَنْۢبَاَكَ هٰذَاۗ قَالَ نَبَّاَنِيَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْخَبِيْرُ ٣

ID Translation Dan ingatlah ketika Nabi membicarakan secara rahasia kepada salah seorang isterinya (Hafsah) suatu peristiwa. Maka tatkala (Hafsah) menceritakan peristiwa itu (kepada Aisyah) dan Allah memberitahukan hal itu (pembicaraan Hafsah dan Aisyah) kepada Muhammad lalu Muhammad memberitahukan sebagian (yang diberitakan Allah kepadanya) dan menyembunyikan sebagian yang lain (kepada Hafsah). Maka tatkala (Muhammad) memberitahukan pembicaraan (antara Hafsah dan Aisyah) lalu (Hafsah) bertanya: "Siapakah yang telah memberitahukan hal ini kepadamu?" Nabi menjawab: "Telah diberitahukan kepadaku oleh Allah yang Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Mengenal".

EN Translation And lo! [It so happened that] the Prophet told something in confidence to one of his wives; and when she thereupon divulged it, and God made this known to him, he acquainted [others] with some of it and passed over some of it. And as soon as he let her know it, she asked, "Who has told thee this?" - [to which] he replied, "The All-Knowing, the All-Aware has told me."

اِنْ تَتُوْبَآ اِلَى اللّٰهِ فَقَدْ صَغَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمَاۚ وَاِنْ تَظٰهَرَا عَلَيْهِ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ مَوْلٰىهُ وَجِبْرِيْلُ وَصَالِحُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۚ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ ظَهِيْرٌ ٤

ID Translation Jika kamu berdua bertaubat kepada Allah, maka sesungguhnya hati kamu berdua telah condong (untuk menerima kebaikan); dan jika kamu berdua bantu-membantu menyusahkan Nabi, maka sesungguhnya Allah adalah Pelindungnya dan (begitu pula) Jibril dan orang-orang mukmin yang baik; dan selain dari itu malaikat-malaikat adalah penolongnya pula.

EN Translation [Say, O Prophet:] "Would that you two turn unto God in repentance, for the hearts of both of you have swerved [from what is right]! And if you uphold each other against him [who is God's message-bearer, know that] God Himself is his Protector, and [that,] therefore, Gabriel, and all the righteous among the believers and all the [other] angels will come to his aid."

عَسٰى رَبُّهٗٓ اِنْ طَلَّقَكُنَّ اَنْ يُّبْدِلَهٗٓ اَزْوَاجًا خَيْرًا مِّنْكُنَّ مُسْلِمٰتٍ مُّؤْمِنٰتٍ قٰنِتٰتٍ تٰۤىِٕبٰتٍ عٰبِدٰتٍ سٰۤىِٕحٰتٍ ثَيِّبٰتٍ وَّاَبْكَارًا ٥

ID Translation Jika Nabi menceraikan kamu, boleh jadi Tuhannya akan memberi ganti kepadanya dengan isteri yang lebih baik daripada kamu, yang patuh, yang beriman, yang taat, yang bertaubat, yang mengerjakan ibadat, yang berpuasa, yang janda dan yang perawan.

EN Translation [O wives of the Prophet!] Were he to divorce [any of] you, God might well give him in your stead spouses better than you - women who surrender themselves unto God, who truly believe, devoutly obey His will, turn [unto Him] in repentance [whenever they have sinned] worship [Him alone] and go on and on [seeking His goodly acceptance] - be they women previously married or virgins.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قُوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَاَهْلِيْكُمْ نَارًا وَّقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلٰۤىِٕكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَّا يَعْصُوْنَ اللّٰهَ مَآ اَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُوْنَ مَا يُؤْمَرُوْنَ ٦

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, peliharalah dirimu dan keluargamu dari api neraka yang bahan bakarnya adalah manusia dan batu; penjaganya malaikat-malaikat yang kasar, keras, dan tidak mendurhakai Allah terhadap apa yang diperintahkan-Nya kepada mereka dan selalu mengerjakan apa yang diperintahkan.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Ward off from yourselves and those who are close to you that fire [of the hereafter] whose fuel is human beings and stones: [lording] over it are angelic powers awesome [and] severe, who do not disobey God in whatever He has commanded them, but [always] do what they are bidden to do.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا الْيَوْمَۗ اِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٧

ID Translation Hai orang-orang kafir, janganlah kamu mengemukakan uzur pada hari ini. Sesungguhnya kamu hanya diberi balasan menurut apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation [Hence,] O you who are bent on denying the truth, make no [empty] excuses today: [in the life to come] you shall be but recompensed for what you were doing [in this world].

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا تُوْبُوْٓا اِلَى اللّٰهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوْحًاۗ عَسٰى رَبُّكُمْ اَنْ يُّكَفِّرَ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّاٰتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُۙ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِى اللّٰهُ النَّبِيَّ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَهٗۚ نُوْرُهُمْ يَسْعٰى بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَبِاَيْمَانِهِمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ اَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُوْرَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَاۚ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٨

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, bertaubatlah kepada Allah dengan taubatan nasuhaa (taubat yang semurni-murninya). Mudah-mudahan Rabbmu akan menutupi kesalahan-kesalahanmu dan memasukkanmu ke dalam jannah yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, pada hari ketika Allah tidak menghinakan Nabi dan orang-orang mukmin yang bersama dia; sedang cahaya mereka memancar di hadapan dan di sebelah kanan mereka, sambil mereka mengatakan: "Ya Rabb kami, sempurnakanlah bagi kami cahaya kami dan ampunilah kami; Sesungguhnya Engkau Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu".

EN Translation O you who have attained to faith! Turn unto God in sincere repentance: it may well be that your Sustainer will efface from you your bad deeds, and will admit you into gardens through which running waters flow, on a Day on which God will not shame the Prophet and those who share his faith: their light will spread rapidly before them, and on their right; [and] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Cause this our light to shine for us forever, and forgive us our sins: for, verily, Thou hast the power to will anything!"

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْۗ وَمَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۗ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ٩

ID Translation Hai Nabi, perangilah orang-orang kafir dan orang-orang munafik dan bersikap keraslah terhadap mereka. Tempat mereka adalah jahannam dan itu adalah seburuk-buruknya tempat kembali.

EN Translation O PROPHET! Strive hard against the deniers of the truth and the hypocrites, and be adamant with them. And [if they do not repent,] their goal shall be hell - and how vile a journey’s end!

ضَرَبَ اللّٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوا امْرَاَتَ نُوْحٍ وَّامْرَاَتَ لُوْطٍۗ كَانَتَا تَحْتَ عَبْدَيْنِ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا صَالِحَيْنِ فَخَانَتٰهُمَا فَلَمْ يُغْنِيَا عَنْهُمَا مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـًٔا وَّقِيْلَ ادْخُلَا النَّارَ مَعَ الدَّاخِلِيْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Allah membuat isteri Nuh dan isteri Luth sebagai perumpamaan bagi orang-orang kafir. Keduanya berada di bawah pengawasan dua orang hamba yang saleh di antara hamba-hamba Kami; lalu kedua isteri itu berkhianat kepada suaminya (masing-masing), maka suaminya itu tiada dapat membantu mereka sedikitpun dari (siksa) Allah; dan dikatakan (kepada keduanya): "Masuklah ke dalam jahannam bersama orang-orang yang masuk (jahannam)".

EN Translation For those who are bent on denying the truth God has propounded a parable in [the stories of] Noah's wife and Lot's wife: they were wedded to two of Our righteous servants, and each one betrayed her husband; and neither of the two [husbands] will be of any avail to these two women when they are told [on Judgment Day], "Enter the fire with all those [other sinners] who enter it!"

وَضَرَبَ اللّٰهُ مَثَلًا لِّلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا امْرَاَتَ فِرْعَوْنَۘ اِذْ قَالَتْ رَبِّ ابْنِ لِيْ عِنْدَكَ بَيْتًا فِى الْجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِيْ مِنْ فِرْعَوْنَ وَعَمَلِهٖ وَنَجِّنِيْ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظّٰلِمِيْنَۙ ١١

ID Translation Dan Allah membuat isteri Fir'aun perumpamaan bagi orang-orang yang beriman, ketika ia berkata: "Ya Rabbku, bangunkanlah untukku sebuah rumah di sisi-Mu dalam firdaus, dan selamatkanlah aku dari Fir'aun dan perbuatannya, dan selamatkanlah aku dari kaum yang zhalim.

EN Translation And for those who have attained to faith God has propounded a parable in [the story of] Pharaoh's wife as she prayed "O my Sustainer! Build Thou for me a mansion in the paradise [that is] with Thee, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me, from all evildoing folk!

وَمَرْيَمَ ابْنَتَ عِمْرٰنَ الَّتِيْٓ اَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيْهِ مِنْ رُّوْحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتْ بِكَلِمٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهٖ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْقٰنِتِيْنَ ۔ ١٢

ID Translation dan (ingatlah) Maryam binti Imran yang memelihara kehormatannya, maka Kami tiupkan ke dalam rahimnya sebagian dari ruh (ciptaan) Kami, dan dia membenarkan kalimat Rabbnya dan Kitab-Kitab-Nya, dan dia adalah termasuk orang-orang yang taat.

EN Translation And [We have propounded yet another parable of God-consciousness in the story of] Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, whereupon We breathed of Our spirit into that [which was in her womb], and who accepted the truth of her Sustainer’s words - and [thus,] of His revelations - and was one of the truly devout.
