Juz 27
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ اَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُوْنَۚ ٣١
ID Translation Ibrahim bertanya: "Apakah urusanmu hai para utusan?"
EN Translation Said [Abraham]: “And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?”
قَالُوْٓ اِنَّآ اُرْسِلْنَآ اِلٰى قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِيْنَۙ ٣٢
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Sesungguhnya kami diutus kepada kaum yang berdosa (kaum Luth),
EN Translation They answered: “Behold, we have been sent unto a people lost in sin,
لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّنْ طِيْنٍۙ ٣٣
ID Translation agar kami timpakan kepada mereka batu-batu dari tanah,
EN Translation to let loose upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement,
مُّسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِيْنَ ٣٤
ID Translation yang ditandai di sisi Tuhanmu untuk membinasakan orang-orang yang melampaui batas".
EN Translation marked out in thy Sustainer’s sight for [the punishment of] such as have wasted their own selves.”
فَاَخْرَجْنَا مَنْ كَانَ فِيْهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَۚ ٣٥
ID Translation Lalu Kami keluarkan orang-orang yang beriman yang berada di negeri kaum Luth itu.
EN Translation And in the course of time We brought out [of Lot ’s city] such [few] believers as were there:
فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيْهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَۚ ٣٦
ID Translation Dan Kami tidak mendapati negeri itu, kecuali sebuah rumah dari orang yang berserah diri.
EN Translation for apart from one [single] house We did not find there any who had surrendered themselves to Us.
وَتَرَكْنَا فِيْهَآ اٰيَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ يَخَافُوْنَ الْعَذَابَ الْاَلِيْمَۗ ٣٧
ID Translation Dan Kami tinggalkan pada negeri itu suatu tanda bagi orang-orang yang takut kepada siksa yang pedih.
EN Translation And so We left therein a message for those who fear the grievous suffering [which awaits all evildoers].
وَفِيْ مُوْسٰىٓ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنٰهُ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطٰنٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٣٨
ID Translation Dan juga pada Musa (terdapat tanda-tanda kekuasaan Allah) ketika Kami mengutusnya kepada Fir'aun dengan membawa mukjizat yang nyata.
EN Translation AND IN [the story of Pharaoh and] Moses, too, [We left the same message: for] when We sent him unto Pharaoh with [Our] manifest authority,
فَتَوَلّٰى بِرُكْنِهٖ وَقَالَ سٰحِرٌ اَوْ مَجْنُوْنٌ ٣٩
ID Translation Maka dia (Fir'aun) berpaling (dari iman) bersama tentaranya dan berkata: "Dia adalah seorang tukang sihir atau seorang gila".
EN Translation and he turned away in [the pride of] his power and said, “A sorcerer [is this Moses], or a madman!” –
فَاَخَذْنٰهُ وَجُنُوْدَهٗ فَنَبَذْنٰهُمْ فِى الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيْمٌۗ ٤٠
ID Translation Maka Kami siksa dia dan tentaranya lalu Kami lemparkan mereka ke dalam laut, sedang dia melakukan pekerjaan yang tercela.
EN Translation We seized him and his hosts, and cast them all into the sea: and [none but Pharaoh] himself was to blame [for what happened].
وَفِيْ عَادٍ اِذْ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيْحَ الْعَقِيْمَۚ ٤١
ID Translation Dan juga pada (kisah) Aad ketika Kami kirimkan kepada mereka angin yang membinasakan,
EN Translation And [you have the same message] in [what happened to the tribe of] Ad, when We let loose against them that life-destroying wind
مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ اَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيْمِۗ ٤٢
ID Translation angin itu tidak membiarkan satupun yang dilaluinya, melainkan dijadikannya seperti serbuk.
EN Translation which spared nothing of what it came upon, but caused [all of] it to become like bones dead and decayed.
وَفِيْ ثَمُوْدَ اِذْ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوْا حَتّٰى حِيْنٍ ٤٣
ID Translation Dan pada (kisah) kaum Tsamud ketika dikatakan kepada mereka: "Bersenang-senanglah kalian sampai suatu waktu".
EN Translation And in [the story of the tribe of] Thamud, too, when they were told, “You shall enjoy your life for [but] a little while,”
فَعَتَوْا عَنْ اَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَاَخَذَتْهُمُ الصّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ ٤٤
ID Translation Maka mereka berlaku angkuh terhadap perintah Tuhannya, lalu mereka disambar petir dan mereka melihatnya.
EN Translation after they had turned with disdain from their Sustainer’s commandment - whereupon the thunderbolt of punishment overtook them while they were [helplessly] looking on:
فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَّمَا كَانُوْا مُنْتَصِرِيْنَۙ ٤٥
ID Translation Maka mereka sekali-kali tidak dapat bangun dan tidak pula mendapat pertolongan,
EN Translation for they were unable even to rise, and could not defend themselves.
وَقَوْمَ نُوْحٍ مِّنْ قَبْلُ ۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا فٰسِقِيْنَ ٤٦
ID Translation dan (Kami membinasakan) kaum Nuh sebelum itu. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah kaum yang fasik.
EN Translation And [thus, too, We destroyed] Noah’s people aforetime: for they were iniquitous folk.
وَالسَّمَاۤءَ بَنَيْنٰهَا بِاَيْىدٍ وَّاِنَّا لَمُوْسِعُوْنَ ٤٧
ID Translation Dan langit itu Kami bangun dengan kekuasaan (Kami) dan sesungguhnya Kami benar-benar berkuasa
EN Translation AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and, verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it.
وَالْاَرْضَ فَرَشْنٰهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُوْنَ ٤٨
ID Translation Dan bumi itu Kami hamparkan, maka sebaik-baik yang menghamparkan (adalah Kami).
EN Translation And the earth have We spread out wide - and how well have We ordered it!
وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ٤٩
ID Translation Dan segala sesuatu Kami ciptakan berpasang-pasangan supaya kamu mengingat kebesaran Allah.
EN Translation And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One].
فَفِرُّوْٓا اِلَى اللّٰهِ ۗاِنِّيْ لَكُمْ مِّنْهُ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌۚ ٥٠
ID Translation Maka segeralah kembali kepada (mentaati) Allah. Sesungguhnya aku seorang pemberi peringatan yang nyata dari Allah untukmu.
EN Translation And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] “Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَۗ اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ مِّنْهُ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ٥١
ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu mengadakan tuhan yang lain disamping Allah. Sesungguhnya aku seorang pemberi peringatan yang nyata dari Allah untukmu.
EN Translation And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!”
كَذٰلِكَ مَآ اَتَى الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّنْ رَّسُوْلٍ اِلَّا قَالُوْا سَاحِرٌ اَوْ مَجْنُوْنٌ ٥٢
ID Translation Demikianlah tidak seorang rasulpun yang datang kepada orang-orang yang sebelum mereka, melainkan mereka mengatakan: "Dia adalah seorang tukang sihir atau seorang gila".
EN Translation [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, “A spellbinder [Lit., "sorcerer".] [is he], or a madman!”
اَتَوَاصَوْا بِهٖۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُوْنَۚ ٥٣
ID Translation Apakah mereka saling berpesan tentang apa yang dikatakan itu. Sebenarnya mereka adalah kaum yang melampaui batas.
EN Translation Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance!
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ اَنْتَ بِمَلُوْمٍ ٥٤
ID Translation Maka berpalinglah kamu dari mereka dan kamu sekali-kali tidak tercela.
EN Translation Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame;
وَذَكِّرْ فَاِنَّ الذِّكْرٰى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٥٥
ID Translation Dan tetaplah memberi peringatan, karena sesungguhnya peringatan itu bermanfaat bagi orang-orang yang beriman.
EN Translation yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers.
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْاِنْسَ اِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوْنِ ٥٦
ID Translation Dan aku tidak menciptakan jin dan manusia melainkan supaya mereka mengabdi kepada-Ku.
EN Translation And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me.
مَآ اُرِيْدُ مِنْهُمْ مِّنْ رِّزْقٍ وَّمَآ اُرِيْدُ اَنْ يُّطْعِمُوْنِ ٥٧
ID Translation Aku tidak menghendaki rezeki sedikitpun dari mereka dan Aku tidak menghendaki supaya mereka memberi-Ku makan.
EN Translation [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me:
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِيْنُ ٥٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah Dialah Maha Pemberi rezeki Yang mempunyai Kekuatan lagi Sangat Kokoh.
EN Translation for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal!
فَاِنَّ لِلَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا ذَنُوْبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوْبِ اَصْحٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُوْنِ ٥٩
ID Translation Maka sesungguhnya untuk orang-orang zalim ada bagian (siksa) seperti bahagian teman mereka (dahulu); maka janganlah mereka meminta kepada-Ku untuk menyegerakannya.
EN Translation And, verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]!
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ يَّوْمِهِمُ الَّذِيْ يُوْعَدُوْنَ ٦٠
ID Translation Maka kecelakaanlah bagi orang-orang yang kafir pada hari yang diancamkan kepada mereka.
EN Translation For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised
وَالطُّوْرِۙ ١
ID Translation Demi bukit,
EN Translation CONSIDER Mount Sinai!
وَكِتٰبٍ مَّسْطُوْرٍۙ ٢
ID Translation dan Kitab yang ditulis,
EN Translation Consider [God’s] revelation, inscribed
فِيْ رَقٍّ مَّنْشُوْرٍۙ ٣
ID Translation pada lembaran yang terbuka,
EN Translation on wide-open scrolls.
وَّالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُوْرِۙ ٤
ID Translation dan demi Baitul Ma'mur,
EN Translation Consider the long-enduring house [of worship]!
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوْعِۙ ٥
ID Translation dan atap yang ditinggikan (langit),
EN Translation Consider the vault [of heaven] raised high!
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُوْرِۙ ٦
ID Translation dan laut yang di dalam tanahnya ada api,
EN Translation Consider the surf-swollen sea!
اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌۙ ٧
ID Translation sesungguhnya azab Tuhanmu pasti terjadi,
EN Translation VERILY, [O man,] the suffering decreed by thy Sustainer [for the sinners] will indeed come to pass:
مَّا لَهٗ مِنْ دَافِعٍۙ ٨
ID Translation tidak seorangpun yang dapat menolaknya,
EN Translation there is none who could avert it.
يَّوْمَ تَمُوْرُ السَّمَاۤءُ مَوْرًاۙ ٩
ID Translation pada hari ketika langit benar-benar bergoncang,
EN Translation [It will come to pass] on the Day when the skies will be convulsed in [a great] convulsion,
وَّتَسِيْرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًاۗ ١٠
ID Translation dan gunung benar-benar berjalan.
EN Translation and the mountains will move with [an awesome] movement.
فَوَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَۙ ١١
ID Translation Maka kecelakaan yang besarlah di hari itu bagi orang-orang yang mendustakan,
EN Translation Woe, then, on that Day to all who give the lie to the truth –
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ فِيْ خَوْضٍ يَّلْعَبُوْنَۘ ١٢
ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang bermain-main dalam kebathilan,
EN Translation all those who [throughout their lives] but idly played with things vain –
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّوْنَ اِلٰى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّاۗ ١٣
ID Translation pada hari mereka didorong ke neraka Jahannam dengan sekuat-kuatnya.
EN Translation on the Day when they shall be thrust into the fire with [an irresistible] thrust, [and will be told:]
هٰذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِيْ كُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوْنَ ١٤
ID Translation (Dikatakan kepada mereka): "Inilah neraka yang dahulu kamu selalu mendustakannya".
EN Translation “This is the fire which you were wont to call a lie!
اَفَسِحْرٌ هٰذَآ اَمْ اَنْتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٥
ID Translation Maka apakah ini sihir? Ataukah kamu tidak melihat?
EN Translation Was it, then, a delusion or is it that you failed to see [its truth]?
اِصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوْٓا اَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوْاۚ سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْكُمْۗ اِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦
ID Translation Masukklah kamu ke dalamnya (rasakanlah panas apinya); maka baik kamu bersabar atau tidak, sama saja bagimu; kamu diberi balasan terhadap apa yang telah kamu kerjakan.
EN Translation Endure it [now]! But [whether you] bear yourselves with patience or without patience, it will be the same to you: you are but being requited for what you were wont to do.”
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّنَعِيْمٍۙ ١٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa berada dalam surga dan kenikmatan,
EN Translation [But,] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves [on that Day] in gardens and in bliss,
فَاكِهِيْنَ بِمَآ اٰتٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْۚ وَوَقٰىهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيْمِ ١٨
ID Translation mereka bersuka ria dengan apa yang diberikan kepada mereka oleh Tuhan mereka; dan Tuhan mereka memelihara mereka dari azab neraka.
EN Translation rejoicing in all that their Sustainer will have granted them: for their Sustainer will have warded off from them all suffering through the blazing fire.
كُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا هَنِيْۤئًا ۢبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُوْنَۙ ١٩
ID Translation (Dikatakan kepada mereka): "Makan dan minumlah dengan enak sebagai balasan dari apa yang telah kamu kerjakan",
EN Translation [And they will be told:] “Eat and drink with good cheer as an outcome of what you were wont to do,
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوْفَةٍۚ وَزَوَّجْنٰهُمْ بِحُوْرٍ عِيْنٍ ٢٠
ID Translation mereka bertelekan di atas dipan-dipan berderetan dan Kami kawinkan mereka dengan bidadari-bidadari yang cantik bermata jeli.
EN Translation reclining on couches [of happiness] ranged in rows!” And [in that paradise] We shall mate them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye.
وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِاِيْمَانٍ اَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَآ اَلَتْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍۚ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ ۢبِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِيْنٌ ٢١
ID Translation Dan orang-oranng yang beriman, dan yang anak cucu mereka mengikuti mereka dalam keimanan, Kami hubungkan anak cucu mereka dengan mereka, dan Kami tiada mengurangi sedikitpun dari pahala amal mereka. Tiap-tiap manusia terikat dengan apa yang dikerjakannya.
EN Translation And as for those who have attained to faith and whose offspring will have followed them in faith, We shall unite them with their offspring; and We shall not let aught of their deeds go to waste: [but] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever he has earned.
وَاَمْدَدْنٰهُمْ بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَّلَحْمٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُوْنَ ٢٢
ID Translation Dan Kami beri mereka tambahan dengan buah-buahan dan daging dari segala jenis yang mereka ingini.
EN Translation And We shall bestow on them fruit and meat in abundance - whatever they may desire:
يَتَنَازَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيْهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيْمٌ ٢٣
ID Translation Di dalam surga mereka saling memperebutkan piala (gelas) yang isinya tidak (menimbulkan) kata-kata yang tidak berfaedah dan tiada pula perbuatan dosa.
EN Translation and in that [paradise] they shall pass on to one another a cup which will not give rise to empty talk, and neither incite to sin.
وَيَطُوْفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَّهُمْ كَاَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَّكْنُوْنٌۚ ٢٤
ID Translation Dan berkeliling di sekitar mereka anak-anak muda untuk (melayani) mereka, seakan-akan mereka itu mutiara yang tersimpan.
EN Translation And they will be waited upon by [immortal] youths, [as if they were children] of their own, [as pure] as if they were pearls hidden in their shells.
وَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ يَّتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ ٢٥
ID Translation Dan sebahagian mereka menghadap kepada sebahagian yang lain saling tanya-menanya.
EN Translation And they [who are thus blest] will turn to one another, asking each other [about their past lives].
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِيْٓ اَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِيْنَ ٢٦
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami dahulu, sewaktu berada di tengah-tengah keluarga kami merasa takut (akan diazab)".
EN Translation They will say: “Behold, aforetime - when we were [still living] in the midst of our kith and kin - we were full of fear [at the thought of God’s displeasure]:
فَمَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقٰىنَا عَذَابَ السَّمُوْمِ ٢٧
ID Translation Maka Allah memberikan karunia kepada kami dan memelihara kami dari azab neraka.
EN Translation and so God has graced us with His favour, and has warded off from us all suffering through the scorching winds [of frustration].
اِنَّا كُنَّا مِنْ قَبْلُ نَدْعُوْهُۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيْمُ ٢٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya kami dahulu menyembah-Nya. Sesungguhnya Dialah yang melimpahkan kebaikan lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation Verily, we did invoke Him [alone] ere this: [and now He has shown us] that He alone is truly benign, a true dispenser of grace!”
فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ اَنْتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَّلَا مَجْنُوْنٍۗ ٢٩
ID Translation Maka tetaplah memberi peringatan, dan kamu disebabkan nikmat Tuhanmu bukanlah seorang tukang tenung dan bukan pula seorang gila.
EN Translation EXHORT, then, [O Prophet, all men:] for, by thy Sustainer’s grace, thou art neither a soothsayer nor a madman.
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهٖ رَيْبَ الْمَنُوْنِ ٣٠
ID Translation Bahkan mereka mengatakan: "Dia adalah seorang penyair yang kami tunggu-tunggu kecelakaan menimpanya".
EN Translation Or do they say, “[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him”?
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوْا فَاِنِّيْ مَعَكُمْ مِّنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِيْنَۗ ٣١
ID Translation Katakanlah: "Tunggulah, maka sesungguhnya akupun termasuk orang yang menunggu (pula) bersama kamu".
EN Translation Say thou: “Wait, [then,] hopefully; behold, I, too, shall hopefully wait with you!”
اَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ اَحْلَامُهُمْ بِهٰذَآ اَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُوْنَۚ ٣٢
ID Translation Apakah mereka diperintah oleh fikiran-fikiran mereka untuk mengucapkan tuduhan-tuduhan ini ataukah mereka kaum yang melampaui batas?
EN Translation Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] - or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance?
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ تَقَوَّلَهٗۚ بَلْ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوْنَۚ ٣٣
ID Translation Ataukah mereka mengatakan: "Dia (Muhammad) membuat-buatnya". Sebenarnya mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation Or do they say, “He himself has composed this [message]”? Nay, but they are not willing to believe!
فَلْيَأْتُوْا بِحَدِيْثٍ مِّثْلِهٖٓ اِنْ كَانُوْا صٰدِقِيْنَۗ ٣٤
ID Translation Maka hendaklah mereka mendatangkan kalimat yang semisal Al Quran itu jika mereka orang-orang yang benar.
EN Translation But then, [if they deem it the work of a mere mortal,] let them produce another discourse like it - if what they say be true!
اَمْ خُلِقُوْا مِنْ غَيْرِ شَيْءٍ اَمْ هُمُ الْخَالِقُوْنَۗ ٣٥
ID Translation Apakah mereka diciptakan tanpa sesuatupun ataukah mereka yang menciptakan (diri mereka sendiri)?
EN Translation [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators?
اَمْ خَلَقُوا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ بَلْ لَّا يُوْقِنُوْنَۗ ٣٦
ID Translation Ataukah mereka telah menciptakan langit dan bumi itu?; sebenarnya mereka tidak meyakini (apa yang mereka katakan).
EN Translation [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything!
اَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَاۤىِٕنُ رَبِّكَ اَمْ هُمُ الْمُصَۣيْطِرُوْنَۗ ٣٧
ID Translation Ataukah di sisi mereka ada perbendaharaan Tuhanmu atau merekakah yang berkuasa?
EN Translation [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer’s treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]?
اَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَّسْتَمِعُوْنَ فِيْهِۚ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُمْ بِسُلْطٰنٍ مُّبِيْنٍۗ ٣٨
ID Translation Ataukah mereka mempunyai tangga (ke langit) untuk mendengarkan pada tangga itu (hal-hal yang gaib)? Maka hendaklah orang yang mendengarkan di antara mereka mendatangkan suatu keterangan yang nyata.
EN Translation Or have they a ladder by which they could [ascend to ultimate truths and] listen [to what is beyond the reach of human perception]? Let, then, any of them who have listened [to it] produce a manifest proof [of his knowledge]!
اَمْ لَهُ الْبَنٰتُ وَلَكُمُ الْبَنُوْنَۗ ٣٩
ID Translation Ataukah untuk Allah anak-anak perempuan dan untuk kamu anak-anak laki-laki?
EN Translation Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons?
اَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ اَجْرًا فَهُمْ مِّنْ مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُوْنَۗ ٤٠
ID Translation Ataukah kamu meminta upah kepada mereka sehingga mereka dibebani dengan hutang?
EN Translation Or is it that [they who reject thy message, O Muhammad, fear lest] thou ask of them a reward, so that they would be burdened with debt [if they should listen to thee]?
اَمْ عِنْدَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُوْنَۗ ٤١
ID Translation Apakah ada pada sisi mereka pengetahuan tentang yang gaib lalu mereka menuliskannya?
EN Translation Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is almost within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down?
اَمْ يُرِيْدُوْنَ كَيْدًاۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا هُمُ الْمَكِيْدُوْنَۗ ٤٢
ID Translation Ataukah mereka hendak melakukan tipu daya? Maka orang-orang yang kafir itu merekalah yang kena tipu daya.
EN Translation Or do they want to entrap [thee in contradictions]? But they who are bent on denying the truth - it is they who are truly entrapped!
اَمْ لَهُمْ اِلٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ ۗسُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ٤٣
ID Translation Ataukah mereka mempunyai tuhan selain Allah. Maha Suci Allah dari apa yang mereka persekutukan.
EN Translation Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity!
وَاِنْ يَّرَوْا كِسْفًا مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ سَاقِطًا يَّقُوْلُوْا سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُوْمٌ ٤٤
ID Translation Jika mereka melihat sebagian dari langit gugur, mereka akan mengatakan: "Itu adalah awan yang bertindih-tindih".
EN Translation AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say, “[It is but] a mass of clouds!”
فَذَرْهُمْ حَتّٰى يُلٰقُوْا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِيْ فِيْهِ يُصْعَقُوْنَۙ ٤٥
ID Translation Maka biarkanlah mereka hingga mereka menemui hari (yang dijanjikan kepada) mereka yang pada hari itu mereka dibinasakan,
EN Translation Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror:
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِيْ عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَۗ ٤٦
ID Translation (yaitu) hari ketika tidak berguna bagi mereka sedikitpun tipu daya mereka dan mereka tidak ditolong.
EN Translation the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour.
وَاِنَّ لِلَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا عَذَابًا دُوْنَ ذٰلِكَ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٤٧
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya untuk orang-orang yang zalim ada azab selain daripada itu. Tetapi kebanyakan mereka tidak mengetahui.
EN Translation But, verily, for those who are bent on doing evil, there is suffering in store [even] closer at hand than that [supreme suffering in the hereafter]: but most of them are not aware of it.
وَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَاِنَّكَ بِاَعْيُنِنَا وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُۙ ٤٨
ID Translation Dan bersabarlah dalam menunggu ketetapan Tuhanmu, maka sesungguhnya kamu berada dalam penglihatan Kami, dan bertasbihlah dengan memuji Tuhanmu ketika kamu bangun berdiri,
EN Translation And so, await in patience thy Sustainer’s judgment, for thou art well within Our sight. And extol thy Sustainer’s limitless glory and praise whenever thou risest up,
وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَاِدْبَارَ النُّجُوْمِ ٤٩
ID Translation dan bertasbihlah kepada-Nya pada beberapa saat di malam hari dan di waktu terbenam bintang-bintang (di waktu fajar).
EN Translation and extol His glory at night, and at the time when the stars retreat.
وَالنَّجْمِ اِذَا هَوٰىۙ ١
ID Translation Demi bintang ketika terbenam.
EN Translation CONSIDER this unfolding [of God’s message], as it comes down from on high!
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوٰىۚ ٢
ID Translation kawanmu (Muhammad) tidak sesat dan tidak pula keliru.
EN Translation This fellow-man of yours has not gone astray, nor is he deluded,
وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوٰى ٣
ID Translation dan tiadalah yang diucapkannya itu (Al-Quran) menurut kemauan hawa nafsunya.
EN Translation and neither does he speak out of his own desire:
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُّوْحٰىۙ ٤
ID Translation Ucapannya itu tiada lain hanyalah wahyu yang diwahyukan (kepadanya).
EN Translation that [which he conveys to you] is but [a divine] inspiration with which he is being inspired –
عَلَّمَهٗ شَدِيْدُ الْقُوٰىۙ ٥
ID Translation yang diajarkan kepadanya oleh (Jibril) yang sangat kuat.
EN Translation something that a very mighty one has imparted to him:
ذُوْ مِرَّةٍۗ فَاسْتَوٰىۙ ٦
ID Translation yang mempunyai akal yang cerdas; dan (Jibril itu) menampakkan diri dengan rupa yang asli.
EN Translation [an angel] endowed with surpassing power, who in time manifested himself in his true shape and nature,
وَهُوَ بِالْاُفُقِ الْاَعْلٰىۗ ٧
ID Translation sedang dia berada di ufuk yang tinggi.
EN Translation appearing in the horizon’s loftiest part,
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلّٰىۙ ٨
ID Translation Kemudian dia mendekat, lalu bertambah dekat lagi.
EN Translation and then drew near, and came close,
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ اَوْ اَدْنٰىۚ ٩
ID Translation maka jadilah dia dekat (pada Muhammad sejarak) dua ujung busur panah atau lebih dekat (lagi).
EN Translation until he was but two bow-lengths away, or even nearer.
فَاَوْحٰىٓ اِلٰى عَبْدِهٖ مَآ اَوْحٰىۗ ١٠
ID Translation Lalu dia menyampaikan kepada hamba-Nya (Muhammad) apa yang telah Allah wahyukan.
EN Translation And thus did [God] reveal unto His servant whatever He deemed right to reveal.
مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَاٰى ١١
ID Translation Hatinya tidak mendustakan apa yang telah dilihatnya.
EN Translation The [servant’s] heart did not give the lie to what he saw:
اَفَتُمٰرُوْنَهٗ عَلٰى مَا يَرٰى ١٢
ID Translation Maka apakah kaum (musyrik Mekah) hendak membantahnya tentang apa yang telah dilihatnya?
EN Translation will you, then, contend with him as to what he saw?
وَلَقَدْ رَاٰهُ نَزْلَةً اُخْرٰىۙ ١٣
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Muhammad telah melihat Jibril itu (dalam rupanya yang asli) pada waktu yang lain,
EN Translation And, indeed, he saw him a second time
عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهٰى ١٤
ID Translation (yaitu) di Sidratil Muntaha.
EN Translation by the lote-tree of the farthest limit,
عِنْدَهَا جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوٰىۗ ١٥
ID Translation Di dekatnya ada surga tempat tinggal,
EN Translation near unto the garden of promise.
اِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشٰىۙ ١٦
ID Translation (Muhammad melihat Jibril) ketika Sidratil Muntaha diliputi oleh sesuatu yang meliputinya.
EN Translation with the lote-tree veiled in a veil of nameless splendour….
مَا زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغٰى ١٧
ID Translation Penglihatannya (muhammad) tidak berpaling dari yang dilihatnya itu dan tidak (pula) melampauinya.
EN Translation [And withal,] the eye did not waver, nor yet did it stray:
لَقَدْ رَاٰى مِنْ اٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرٰى ١٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya dia telah melihat sebahagian tanda-tanda (kekuasaan) Tuhannya yang paling besar.
EN Translation truly did he see some of the most profound of his Sustainer’s symbols.
اَفَرَءَيْتُمُ اللّٰتَ وَالْعُزّٰى ١٩
ID Translation Maka apakah patut kamu (hai orang-orang musyrik) menganggap al Lata dan al Uzza,
EN Translation HAVE YOU, then, ever considered [what you are worshipping in] Al-Lat and Al-Uzza,
وَمَنٰوةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الْاُخْرٰى ٢٠
ID Translation dan Manah yang ketiga, yang paling terkemudian (sebagai anak perempuan Allah)?
EN Translation as well as [in] Manat, the third and last [of this triad]?
اَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْاُنْثٰى ٢١
ID Translation Apakah (patut) untuk kamu (anak) laki-laki dan untuk Allah (anak) perempuan?
EN Translation Why - for yourselves [you would choose only] male offspring, whereas to Him [you assign] female:
تِلْكَ اِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيْزٰى ٢٢
ID Translation Yang demikian itu tentulah suatu pembagian yang tidak adil.
EN Translation that, lo and behold, is an unfair division!
اِنْ هِيَ اِلَّآ اَسْمَاۤءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوْهَآ اَنْتُمْ وَاٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ مَّآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطٰنٍۗ اِنْ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْاَنْفُسُۚ وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدٰىۗ ٢٣
ID Translation Itu tidak lain hanyalah nama-nama yang kamu dan bapak-bapak kamu mengadakannya; Allah tidak menurunkan suatu keteranganpun untuk (menyembah)nya. Mereka tidak lain hanyalah mengikuti sangkaan-sangkaan, dan apa yang diingini oleh hawa nafsu mereka dan sesungguhnya telah datang petunjuk kepada mereka dari Tuhan mereka.
EN Translation These [allegedly divine beings] are nothing but empty names which you have invented - you and your forefathers - [and] for which God has bestowed no warrant from on high. They [who worship them] follow nothing but surmise and their own wishful thinking - although right guidance has now indeed come unto them from their Sustainer.
اَمْ لِلْاِنْسَانِ مَا تَمَنّٰىۖ ٢٤
ID Translation Atau apakah manusia akan mendapat segala yang dicita-citakannya?
EN Translation Does man imagine that it is his due to have all that he might wish for,
فَلِلّٰهِ الْاٰخِرَةُ وَالْاُوْلٰى ٢٥
ID Translation (Tidak), maka hanya bagi Allah kehidupan akhirat dan kehidupan dunia.
EN Translation despite the fact that [both] the life to come and this present [one] belong to God [alone]?
وَكَمْ مِّنْ مَّلَكٍ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ لَا تُغْنِيْ شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا اِلَّا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ اَنْ يَّأْذَنَ اللّٰهُ لِمَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَيَرْضٰى ٢٦
ID Translation Dan berapa banyaknya malaikat di langit, syafa'at mereka sedikitpun tidak berguna, kecuali sesudah Allah mengijinkan bagi orang yang dikehendaki dan diridhai (Nya).
EN Translation For, however many angels there be in the heavens, their intercession can be of no least avail [to anyone] - except after God has given leave [to intercede] for whomever He wills and with whom He is well-pleased.
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّوْنَ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الْاُنْثٰى ٢٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang tiada beriman kepada kehidupan akhirat, mereka benar-benar menamakan malaikat itu dengan nama perempuan.
EN Translation Behold, it is [only] such as do not [really] believe in the life to come that regard the angels as female beings;
وَمَا لَهُمْ بِهٖ مِنْ عِلْمٍۗ اِنْ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَاِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِيْ مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْـًٔاۚ ٢٨
ID Translation Dan mereka tidak mempunyai sesuatu pengetahuanpun tentang itu. Mereka tidak lain hanyalah mengikuti persangkaan sedang sesungguhnya persangkaan itu tiada berfaedah sedikitpun terhadap kebenaran.
EN Translation and [since] they have no knowledge whatever thereof, they follow nothing but surmise: yet, behold, never can surmise take the place of truth.
فَاَعْرِضْ عَنْ مَّنْ تَوَلّٰىۙ عَنْ ذِكْرِنَا وَلَمْ يُرِدْ اِلَّا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَاۗ ٢٩
ID Translation Maka berpalinglah (hai Muhammad) dari orang yang berpaling dari peringatan Kami, dan tidak mengingini kecuali kehidupan duniawi.
EN Translation Avoid thou, therefore, those who turn away from all remembrance of Us and care for no more than the life of this world,
ذٰلِكَ مَبْلَغُهُمْ مِّنَ الْعِلْمِۗ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيْلِهٖۙ وَهُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اهْتَدٰى ٣٠
ID Translation Itulah sejauh-jauh pengetahuan mereka. Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, Dialah yang paling mengetahui siapa yang tersesat dari jalan-Nya dan Dia pulalah yang paling mengetahui siapa yang mendapat petunjuk.
EN Translation which, to them, is the only thing worth knowing. Behold, thy Sustainer is fully aware as to who has strayed from His path, and fully aware is He as to who follows His guidance.
وَلِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اَسَاۤءُوْا بِمَا عَمِلُوْا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِيْنَ اَحْسَنُوْا بِالْحُسْنٰىۚ ٣١
ID Translation Dan hanya kepunyaan Allah-lah apa yang ada di langit dan apa yang ada di bumi supaya Dia memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang berbuat jahat terhadap apa yang telah mereka kerjakan dan memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang berbuat baik dengan pahala yang lebih baik (surga).
EN Translation Indeed, unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth: and so He will reward those who do evil in accordance with what they did, and will reward those who do good with ultimate good.
اَلَّذِيْنَ يَجْتَنِبُوْنَ كَبٰۤىِٕرَ الْاِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ اِلَّا اللَّمَمَۙ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْمَغْفِرَةِۗ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِكُمْ اِذْ اَنْشَاَكُمْ مِّنَ الْاَرْضِ وَاِذْ اَنْتُمْ اَجِنَّةٌ فِيْ بُطُوْنِ اُمَّهٰتِكُمْۗ فَلَا تُزَكُّوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْۗ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنِ اتَّقٰى ٣٢
ID Translation (Yaitu) orang-orang yang menjauhi dosa-dosa besar dan perbuatan keji yang selain dari kesalahan-kesalahan kecil. Sesungguhnya Tuhanmu maha luas ampunan-Nya. Dan Dia lebih mengetahui (tentang keadaan)mu ketika Dia menjadikan kamu dari tanah dan ketika kamu masih janin dalam perut ibumu; maka janganlah kamu mengatakan dirimu suci. Dialah yang paling mengetahui tentang orang yang bertakwa.
EN Translation As for those who avoid the [truly] grave sins and shameful deeds - even though they may sometimes stumble behold, thy Sustainer is abounding in forgiveness. He is fully aware of you when He brings you into being out of dust, and when you are still hidden in your mothers’ wombs: do not, then, consider yourselves pure - [for] He knows best as to who is conscious of Him.
اَفَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِيْ تَوَلّٰىۙ ٣٣
ID Translation Maka apakah kamu melihat orang yang berpaling (dari Al-Quran)?
EN Translation HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world],
وَاَعْطٰى قَلِيْلًا وَّاَكْدٰى ٣٤
ID Translation serta memberi sedikit dan tidak mau memberi lagi?
EN Translation and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul], and so grudgingly?
اَعِنْدَهٗ عِلْمُ الْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرٰى ٣٥
ID Translation Apakah dia mempunyai pengetahuan tentang yang ghaib, sehingga dia mengetahui (apa yang dikatakan)?
EN Translation Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]?
اَمْ لَمْ يُنَبَّأْ بِمَا فِيْ صُحُفِ مُوْسٰى ٣٦
ID Translation Ataukah belum diberitakan kepadanya apa yang ada dalam lembaran-lembaran Musa?
EN Translation Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses,
وَاِبْرٰهِيْمَ الَّذِيْ وَفّٰىٓ ۙ ٣٧
ID Translation dan lembaran-lembaran Ibrahim yang selalu menyempurnakan janji?
EN Translation and of Abraham, who to his trust was true:
اَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِّزْرَ اُخْرٰىۙ ٣٨
ID Translation (yaitu) bahwasanya seorang yang berdosa tidak akan memikul dosa orang lain,
EN Translation that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another’s burden;
وَاَنْ لَّيْسَ لِلْاِنْسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰىۙ ٣٩
ID Translation dan bahwasanya seorang manusia tiada memperoleh selain apa yang telah diusahakannya,
EN Translation and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for;
وَاَنَّ سَعْيَهٗ سَوْفَ يُرٰىۖ ٤٠
ID Translation dan bahwasanya usaha itu kelak akan diperlihatkan (kepadanya).
EN Translation and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light],
ثُمَّ يُجْزٰىهُ الْجَزَاۤءَ الْاَوْفٰىۙ ٤١
ID Translation Kemudian akan diberi balasan kepadanya dengan balasan yang paling sempurna,
EN Translation whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital;
وَاَنَّ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ الْمُنْتَهٰىۙ ٤٢
ID Translation dan bahwasanya kepada Tuhanmulah kesudahan (segala sesuatu),
EN Translation and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists];
وَاَنَّهٗ هُوَ اَضْحَكَ وَاَبْكٰى ٤٣
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dialah yang menjadikan orang tertawa dan menangis,
EN Translation and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep;
وَاَنَّهٗ هُوَ اَمَاتَ وَاَحْيَاۙ ٤٤
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dialah yang mematikan dan menghidupkan,
EN Translation and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life;
وَاَنَّهٗ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالْاُنْثٰى ٤٥
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dialah yang menciptakan berpasang-pasangan pria dan wanita.
EN Translation and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female –
مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ اِذَا تُمْنٰىۙ ٤٦
ID Translation dari air mani, apabila dipancarkan.
EN Translation out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth,
وَاَنَّ عَلَيْهِ النَّشْاَةَ الْاُخْرٰىۙ ٤٧
ID Translation Dan bahwasanya Dialah yang menetapkan kejadian yang lain (kebangkitan sesudah mati),
EN Translation and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life;
وَاَنَّهٗ هُوَ اَغْنٰى وَاَقْنٰىۙ ٤٨
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dia yang memberikan kekayaan dan memberikan kecukupan,
EN Translation and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess;
وَاَنَّهٗ هُوَ رَبُّ الشِّعْرٰىۙ ٤٩
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dialah yang Tuhan (yang memiliki) bintang syi'ra,
EN Translation and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star;
وَاَنَّهٗٓ اَهْلَكَ عَادًا ۨالْاُوْلٰىۙ ٥٠
ID Translation dan bahwasanya Dia telah membinasakan kaum 'Aad yang pertama,
EN Translation and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad
وَثَمُوْدَا۟ فَمَآ اَبْقٰىۙ ٥١
ID Translation dan kaum Tsamud. Maka tidak seorangpun yang ditinggalkan-Nya (hidup).
EN Translation and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them],
وَقَوْمَ نُوْحٍ مِّنْ قَبْلُۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا هُمْ اَظْلَمَ وَاَطْغٰىۗ ٥٢
ID Translation Dan kaum Nuh sebelum itu. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang paling zalim dan paling durhaka,
EN Translation as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening –
وَالْمُؤْتَفِكَةَ اَهْوٰىۙ ٥٣
ID Translation dan negeri-negeri kaum Luth yang telah dihancurkan Allah.
EN Translation just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown
فَغَشّٰىهَا مَا غَشّٰىۚ ٥٤
ID Translation lalu Allah menimpakan atas negeri itu azab besar yang menimpanya.
EN Translation and then covered them from sight forever.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارٰى ٥٥
ID Translation Maka terhadap nikmat Tuhanmu yang manakah kamu ragu-ragu?
EN Translation About which, then, of thy Sustainer’s powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt?
هٰذَا نَذِيْرٌ مِّنَ النُّذُرِ الْاُوْلٰى ٥٦
ID Translation Ini (Muhammad) adalah seorang pemberi peringatan di antara pemberi-pemberi peringatan yang terdahulu.
EN Translation THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old:
اَزِفَتِ الْاٰزِفةُ ۚ ٥٧
ID Translation Telah dekat terjadinya hari kiamat.
EN Translation that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer,
لَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ كَاشِفَةٌ ۗ ٥٨
ID Translation Tidak ada yang akan menyatakan terjadinya hari itu selain Allah.
EN Translation [although] none but God can unveil it....
اَفَمِنْ هٰذَا الْحَدِيْثِ تَعْجَبُوْنَۙ ٥٩
ID Translation Maka apakah kamu merasa heran terhadap pemberitaan ini?
EN Translation Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange?
وَتَضْحَكُوْنَ وَلَا تَبْكُوْنَۙ ٦٠
ID Translation Dan kamu mentertawakan dan tidak menangis?
EN Translation And do you laugh instead of weeping,
وَاَنْتُمْ سَامِدُوْنَ ٦١
ID Translation Sedang kamu melengahkan(nya)?
EN Translation and divert yourselves all the while?
فَاسْجُدُوْا لِلّٰهِ وَاعْبُدُوْا ۩ ٦٢
ID Translation Maka bersujudlah kepada Allah dan sembahlah (Dia).
EN Translation [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]!
اِقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ ١
ID Translation Telah dekat datangnya saat itu dan telah terbelah bulan.
EN Translation THE LAST HOUR draws near, and the moon is split asunder!
وَاِنْ يَّرَوْا اٰيَةً يُّعْرِضُوْا وَيَقُوْلُوْا سِحْرٌ مُّسْتَمِرٌّ ٢
ID Translation Dan jika mereka (orang-orang musyrikin) melihat suatu tanda (mukjizat), mereka berpaling dan berkata: "(Ini adalah) sihir yang terus menerus".
EN Translation But if they [who reject all thought of the Last Hour] were to see a sign [of its approach], they would turn aside and say, “An ever-recurring delusion!” –
وَكَذَّبُوْا وَاتَّبَعُوْٓا اَهْوَاۤءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ اَمْرٍ مُّسْتَقِرٌّ ٣
ID Translation Dan mereka mendutakan (Nabi) dan mengikuti hawa nafsu mereka, sedang tiap-tiap urusan telah ada ketetapannya
EN Translation for they are bent on giving it the lie, being always wont to follow their own desires. Yet everything reveals its truth in the end.
وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مِّنَ الْاَنْبَاۤءِ مَا فِيْهِ مُزْدَجَرٌۙ ٤
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah datang kepada mereka beberapa kisah yang di dalamnya terdapat cegahan (dari kekafiran).
EN Translation And withal, there has come unto them many a tiding that should have restrained [their arrogance]:
حِكْمَةٌ ۢ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُۙ ٥
ID Translation Itulah suatu hikmah yang sempurna maka peringatan-peringatan itu tidak berguna (bagi mereka).
EN Translation far-reaching wisdom [was held out to them]: but [since] all warnings have been of no avail,
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ ۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ اِلٰى شَيْءٍ نُّكُرٍۙ ٦
ID Translation Maka berpalinglah kamu dari mereka. (Ingatlah) hari (ketika) seorang penyeru (malaikat) menyeru kepada sesuatu yang tidak menyenangkan (hari pembalasan),
EN Translation turn thou away from them. On the Day when the Summoning Voice will summon [man] unto something that the mind cannot conceive,
خُشَّعًا اَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُوْنَ مِنَ الْاَجْدَاثِ كَاَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُّنْتَشِرٌۙ ٧
ID Translation sambil menundukkan pandangan-pandangan mereka keluar dari kuburan seakan-akan mereka belalang yang beterbangan
EN Translation they will come forth from their graves, with their eyes downcast, [swarming about] like locusts scattered [by the wind],
مُّهْطِعِيْنَ اِلَى الدَّاعِۗ يَقُوْلُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ هٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ ٨
ID Translation mereka datang dengan cepat kepada penyeru itu. Orang-orang kafir berkata: "Ini adalah hari yang berat".
EN Translation running in confusion towards the Summoning Voice; [and] those who [now] deny the truth will exclaim, “Calamitous is this Day!”
۞ كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوْحٍ فَكَذَّبُوْا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوْا مَجْنُوْنٌ وَّازْدُجِرَ ٩
ID Translation Sebelum mereka, telah mendustakan (pula) kamu Nuh, maka mereka mendustakan hamba Kami (Nuh) dan mengatakan: "Dia seorang gila dan dia sudah pernah diberi ancaman).
EN Translation [LONG] BEFORE those [who now deny resurrection] did Noah’s people call it a lie; and they gave the lie to Our servant and said, “Mad is he!” - and he was repulsed.
فَدَعَا رَبَّهٗٓ اَنِّيْ مَغْلُوْبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ ١٠
ID Translation Maka dia mengadu kepada Tuhannya: "bahwasanya aku ini adalah orang yang dikalahkan, oleh sebab itu menangkanlah (aku)".
EN Translation Thereupon he called out to his Sustainer, “Verily, I am defeated; come Thou, then, to my succour!”
فَفَتَحْنَآ اَبْوَابَ السَّمَاۤءِ بِمَاۤءٍ مُّنْهَمِرٍۖ ١١
ID Translation Maka Kami bukakan pintu-pintu langit dengan (menurunkan) air yang tercurah.
EN Translation And so We caused the gates of heaven to open with water pouring down in torrents,
وَّفَجَّرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوْنًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاۤءُ عَلٰٓى اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ ۚ ١٢
ID Translation Dan Kami jadikan bumi memancarkan mata air-mata air, maka bertemulah air-air itu untuk suatu urusan yang sungguh telah ditetapkan.
EN Translation and caused the earth to burst forth with springs, so that the waters met for a purpose pre-ordained:
وَحَمَلْنٰهُ عَلٰى ذَاتِ اَلْوَاحٍ وَّدُسُرٍۙ ١٣
ID Translation Dan Kami angkut Nuh ke atas (bahtera) yang terbuat dari papan dan paku,
EN Translation but him We bore on that [vessel] made of [mere] planks and nails,
تَجْرِيْ بِاَعْيُنِنَاۚ جَزَاۤءً لِّمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَ ١٤
ID Translation Yang berlayar dengan pemeliharaan Kami sebagai belasan bagi orang-orang yang diingkari (Nuh).
EN Translation and it floated under Our eyes: a recompense for him who had been rejected with ingratitude.
وَلَقَدْ تَّرَكْنٰهَآ اٰيَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami jadikan kapal itu sebagai pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mau mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation And, indeed, We have caused such [floating vessels] to remain forever a sign [of Our grace unto man]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ١٦
ID Translation Maka alangkah dahsyatnya azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation And how severe is the suffering which I inflict when My warnings are disregarded!
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ١٧
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami mudahkan Al-Quran untuk pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation Hence, indeed, We made this Qur’an easy to bear in mind: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ١٨
ID Translation Kaum 'Aad pun mendustakan (pula). Maka alangkah dahsyatnya azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation TO THE TRUTH gave the lie [the tribe of] Ad: and how severe was the suffering which I inflicted when My warnings were disregarded!
اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيْحًا صَرْصَرًا فِيْ يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُّسْتَمِرٍّۙ ١٩
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami telah menghembuskan kepada mereka angin yang sangat kencang pada hari nahas yang terus menerus,
EN Translation Behold, We let loose upon them a raging storm wind on a day of bitter misfortune:
تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُّنْقَعِرٍ ٢٠
ID Translation yang menggelimpangkan manusia seakan-akan mereka pokok korma yang tumbang.
EN Translation it swept the people away as though they were palm-trunks uprooted:
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ٢١
ID Translation Maka alangkah dahsyatnya azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation for, how severe is the suffering which I inflict when My warnings are disregarded!
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٢٢
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami mudahkan Al Quran untuk pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation Hence, indeed, We made this Qur’an easy to bear in mind: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ بِالنُّذُرِ ٢٣
ID Translation Kaum Tsamudpun telah mendustakan ancaman-ancaman (itu).
EN Translation [AND the tribe of] Thamud gave the lie to all [Our] warnings;
فَقَالُوْٓا اَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُهٗٓ ۙاِنَّآ اِذًا لَّفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ وَّسُعُرٍ ٢٤
ID Translation Maka mereka berkata: "Bagaimana kita akan mengikuti seorang manusia (biasa) di antara kita?" Sesungguhnya kalau kita begitu benar-benar berada dalam keadaan sesat dan gila".
EN Translation and they said: “Are we to follow one single mortal, one from among ourselves? In that case, behold, we would certainly sink into error and folly!
ءَاُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْۢ بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ اَشِرٌ ٢٥
ID Translation Apakah wahyu itu diturunkan kepadanya di antara kita? Sebenarnya dia adalah seorang yang amat pendusta lagi sombong.
EN Translation Why - on him alone from among all of us should a [divine] reminder have been bestowed? Nay, but he is a boastful liar!”
سَيَعْلَمُوْنَ غَدًا مَّنِ الْكَذَّابُ الْاَشِرُ ٢٦
ID Translation Kelak mereka akan mengetahui siapakah yang sebenarnya amat pendusta lagi sombong.
EN Translation [And God said:] “On the morrow they will come to know who the boastful liar is!
اِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَّهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْۖ ٢٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami akan mengirimkan unta betina sebagai cobaan bagi mereka, maka tunggulah (tindakan) mereka dan bersabarlah.
EN Translation Behold, [O Salih] We are letting loose this she-camel as a test for them; and thou but watch them, and contain thyself in patience.
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ اَنَّ الْمَاۤءَ قِسْمَةٌ ۢ بَيْنَهُمْۚ كُلُّ شِرْبٍ مُّحْتَضَرٌ ٢٨
ID Translation Dan beritakanlah kepada mereka bahwa sesungguhnya air itu terbagi antara mereka (dengan unta betina itu); tiap-tiap giliran minum dihadiri (oleh yang punya giliran)
EN Translation And let them know that the water [of their wells] is to be divided between them, with each share of water equitably apportioned.”
فَنَادَوْا صَاحِبَهُمْ فَتَعَاطٰى فَعَقَرَ ٢٩
ID Translation Maka mereka memanggil kawannya, lalu kawannya menangkap (unta itu) dan membunuhnya.
EN Translation But they summoned their [boldest] companion, and he ventured [upon the evil deed], and cruelly slaughtered [the animal]:
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ٣٠
ID Translation Alangkah dahsyatnya azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation and how severe was the suffering which I inflicted when My warnings were disregarded!
اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ صَيْحَةً وَّاحِدَةً فَكَانُوْا كَهَشِيْمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ ٣١
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami menimpakan atas mereka satu suara yang keras mengguntur, maka jadilah mereka seperti rumput kering (yang dikumpulkan oleh) yang punya kandang binatang.
EN Translation Behold, We let loose upon them one single blast [of Our punishment], and they became like the dried-up, crumbling twigs of a sheepfold.
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٣٢
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami mudahkan Al Quran untuk pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation Hence, indeed, We made this Qur’an easy to bear in mind: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوْطٍ ۢبِالنُّذُرِ ٣٣
ID Translation Kaum Luth-pun telah mendustakan ancaman-ancaman (nabinya).
EN Translation LOT ’S PEOPLE [too] gave the lie to all [Our] warnings:
اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا اِلَّآ اٰلَ لُوْطٍ ۗنَجَّيْنٰهُمْ بِسَحَرٍۙ ٣٤
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami telah menghembuskan kepada mereka angin yang membawa batu-batu (yang menimpa mereka), kecuali keluarga Luth. Mereka Kami selamatkan sebelum fajar menyingsing,
EN Translation [and so,] behold, We let loose upon them a deadly tempest; and only Lot ’s kinsfolk did We save at the break of dawn,
نِّعْمَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِنَاۗ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِيْ مَنْ شَكَرَ ٣٥
ID Translation sebagai nikmat dari Kami. Demikianlah Kami memberi balasan kepada orang-orang yang bersyukur,
EN Translation as a blessing from Us: thus do We reward all who are grateful.
وَلَقَدْ اَنْذَرَهُمْ بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ ٣٦
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya dia (Luth) telah memperingatkan mereka akan azab-azab Kami, maka mereka mendustakan ancaman-ancaman itu.
EN Translation For he had truly warned them of Our punishing might; but they stubbornly cast doubt on these warnings,
وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوْهُ عَنْ ضَيْفِهٖ فَطَمَسْنَآ اَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوْقُوْا عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ٣٧
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya mereka telah membujuknya (agar menyerahkan) tamunya (kepada mereka), lalu Kami butakan mata mereka, maka rasakanlah azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation and even demanded that he give up his guests [to them]: whereupon We deprived them of their sight [and thus told them, as it were]: “Taste, then, the suffering which I inflict when My warnings are disregarded!”
وَلَقَدْ صَبَّحَهُمْ بُكْرَةً عَذَابٌ مُّسْتَقِرٌّۚ ٣٨
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya pada esok harinya mereka ditimpa azab yang kekal.
EN Translation And, indeed, abiding suffering did befall them early on the morrow:
فَذُوْقُوْا عَذَابِيْ وَنُذُرِ ٣٩
ID Translation Maka rasakanlah azab-Ku dan ancaman-ancaman-Ku.
EN Translation “Taste, then, the suffering which I inflict when My warnings are disregarded!”
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٤٠
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami mudahkan Al Quran untuk pelajaran, maka adakah orang yang mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation Hence, indeed, We made this Qur’an easy to bear in mind: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَ اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ النُّذُرُۚ ٤١
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah datang kepada kaum Fir'aun ancaman-ancaman.
EN Translation Now surely, unto Pharaoh’s folk [too] came such warnings;
كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ اَخْذَ عَزِيْزٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٤٢
ID Translation Mereka mendustakan mukjizat Kami semuanya, lalu Kami azab mereka sebagai azab dari Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Kuasa
EN Translation they, too, gave the lie to all Our messages: and thereupon We took them to task as only the Almighty, who determines all things, can take to task.
اَكُفَّارُكُمْ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ اُولٰۤىِٕكُمْ اَمْ لَكُمْ بَرَاۤءَةٌ فِى الزُّبُرِۚ ٤٣
ID Translation Apakah orang-orang kafirmu (hai kaum musyrikin) lebih baik dari mereka itu, atau apakah kamu telah mempunyai jaminan kebebasan (dari azab) dalam Kitab-kitab yang dahulu
EN Translation ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom?
اَمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ نَحْنُ جَمِيْعٌ مُّنْتَصِرٌ ٤٤
ID Translation Atau apakah mereka mengatakan: "Kami adalah satu golongan yang bersatu yang pasti menang".
EN Translation Or do they say, “We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail”?
سَيُهْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ وَيُوَلُّوْنَ الدُّبُرَ ٤٥
ID Translation Golongan itu pasti akan dikalahkan dan mereka akan mundur ke belakang.
EN Translation [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]!
بَلِ السَّاعَةُ مَوْعِدُهُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ اَدْهٰى وَاَمَرُّ ٤٦
ID Translation Sebenarnya hari kiamat itulah hari yang dijanjikan kepada mereka dan kiamat itu lebih dahsyat dan lebih pahit.
EN Translation But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter:
اِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ فِيْ ضَلٰلٍ وَّسُعُرٍۘ ٤٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang berdosa berada dalam kesesatan (di dunia) dan dalam neraka.
EN Translation for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly!
يَوْمَ يُسْحَبُوْنَ فِى النَّارِ عَلٰى وُجُوْهِهِمْۗ ذُوْقُوْا مَسَّ سَقَرَ ٤٨
ID Translation (Ingatlah) pada hari mereka diseret ke neraka atas muka mereka. (Dikatakan kepada mereka): "Rasakanlah sentuhan api neraka!"
EN Translation On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] “Taste now the touch of hell-fire!”
اِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ ٤٩
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami menciptakan segala sesuatu menurut ukuran.
EN Translation BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion;
وَمَآ اَمْرُنَآ اِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ ۢبِالْبَصَرِ ٥٠
ID Translation Dan perintah Kami hanyalah satu perkataan seperti kejapan mata.
EN Translation and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act], like the twinkling of an eye.
وَلَقَدْ اَهْلَكْنَآ اَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُّدَّكِرٍ ٥١
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami binasakan orang yang serupa dengan kamu. Maka adakah orang yang mau mengambil pelajaran?
EN Translation Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart?
وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ فَعَلُوْهُ فِى الزُّبُرِ ٥٢
ID Translation Dan segala sesuatu yang telah mereka perbuat tercatat dalam buku-buku catatan
EN Translation [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom;
وَكُلُّ صَغِيْرٍ وَّكَبِيْرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ ٥٣
ID Translation Dan segala (urusan) yang kecil maupun yang besar adalah tertulis.
EN Translation and everything [that man does], be it small or great, is recorded [with God].
اِنَّ الْمُتَّقِيْنَ فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّنَهَرٍۙ ٥٤
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang bertakwa itu di dalam taman-taman dan sungai-sungai,
EN Translation [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters,
فِيْ مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ مَلِيْكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ ٥٥
ID Translation di tempat yang disenangi di sisi Tuhan Yang Berkuasa.
EN Translation in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things.
اَلرَّحْمٰنُۙ ١
ID Translation (Tuhan) Yang Maha Pemurah,
EN Translation THE MOST GRACIOUS
عَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَۗ ٢
ID Translation Yang telah mengajarkan al Quran.
EN Translation has imparted this Qur’an [unto man].
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَۙ ٣
ID Translation Dia menciptakan manusia.
EN Translation He has created man:
عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ ٤
ID Translation Mengajarnya pandai berbicara.
EN Translation He has imparted unto him articulate thought and speech.
اَلشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍۙ ٥
ID Translation Matahari dan bulan (beredar) menurut perhitungan.
EN Translation [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses;
وَّالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ ٦
ID Translation Dan tumbuh-tumbuhan dan pohon-pohonan kedua-duanya tunduk kepada-Nya.
EN Translation [before Him] prostrate themselves the stars and the trees.
وَالسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيْزَانَۙ ٧
ID Translation Dan Allah telah meninggikan langit dan Dia meletakkan neraca (keadilan).
EN Translation And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure,
اَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِى الْمِيْزَانِ ٨
ID Translation Supaya kamu jangan melampaui batas tentang neraca itu.
EN Translation so that you [too, O men,] might never transgress the measure [of what is right]:
وَاَقِيْمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيْزَانَ ٩
ID Translation Dan tegakkanlah timbangan itu dengan adil dan janganlah kamu mengurangi neraca itu.
EN Translation weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short!
وَالْاَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْاَنَامِۙ ١٠
ID Translation Dan Allah telah meratakan bumi untuk makhluk(Nya).
EN Translation And the earth has He spread out for all living beings,
فِيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْاَكْمَامِۖ ١١
ID Translation Di bumi itu ada buah-buahan dan pohon kurma yang mempunyai kelopak mayang.
EN Translation with fruit thereon, and palm trees with sheathed clusters [of dates],
وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُۚ ١٢
ID Translation Dan biji-bijian yang berkulit dan bunga-bunga yang harum baunya.
EN Translation and grain growing tall on its stalks, and sweet-smelling plants.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٣
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ ١٤
ID Translation Dia menciptakan manusia dari tanah kering seperti tembikar,
EN Translation He has created man out of sounding clay, like pottery,
وَخَلَقَ الْجَاۤنَّ مِنْ مَّارِجٍ مِّنْ نَّارٍۚ ١٥
ID Translation dan Dia menciptakan jin dari nyala api.
EN Translation whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٦
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِۚ ١٧
ID Translation Tuhan yang memelihara kedua tempat terbit matahari dan Tuhan yang memelihara kedua tempat terbenamnya
EN Translation [He is] the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunrise, and the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunset.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ١٨
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيٰنِۙ ١٩
ID Translation Dia membiarkan dua lautan mengalir yang keduanya kemudian bertemu,
EN Translation He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet:
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيٰنِۚ ٢٠
ID Translation antara keduanya ada batas yang tidak dilampaui masing-masing.
EN Translation [yet] between them is a barrier which they may not transgress.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٢١
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُۚ ٢٢
ID Translation Dari keduanya keluar mutiara dan marjan.
EN Translation Out of these two [bodies of water] come forth pearls, both great and small.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٢٣
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَاٰتُ فِى الْبَحْرِ كَالْاَعْلَامِۚ ٢٤
ID Translation Dan kepunyaan-Nya lah bahtera-bahtera yang tinggi layarnya di lautan laksana gunung-gunung.
EN Translation And His are the lofty ships that sail like [floating] mountains through the seas.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٢٥
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍۖ ٢٦
ID Translation Semua yang ada di bumi itu akan binasa.
EN Translation All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away:
وَّيَبْقٰى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِكْرَامِۚ ٢٧
ID Translation Dan tetap kekal Dzat Tuhanmu yang mempunyai kebesaran dan kemuliaan.
EN Translation but forever will abide thy Sustainer’s Self, full of majesty and glory.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٢٨
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
يَسْـَٔلُهٗ مَنْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِيْ شَأْنٍۚ ٢٩
ID Translation Semua yang ada di langit dan bumi selalu meminta kepada-Nya. Setiap waktu Dia dalam kesibukan.
EN Translation On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٠
ID Translation Maka nikmat Rabb-mu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ اَيُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ ٣١
ID Translation Kami akan memperhatikan sepenuhnya kepadamu hai manusia dan jin.
EN Translation [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two!
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٢
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
يٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاۗ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ ٣٣
ID Translation Hai jama'ah jin dan manusia, jika kamu sanggup menembus (melintasi) penjuru langit dan bumi, maka lintasilah, kamu tidak dapat menembusnya kecuali dengan kekuatan.
EN Translation O you who live in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and humans! If you [think that you] can pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them! [But] you cannot pass beyond them, save by a sanction [from God]!
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٤
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍۙ وَّنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرَانِۚ ٣٥
ID Translation Kepada kamu, (jin dan manusia) dilepaskan nyala api dan cairan tembaga maka kamu tidak dapat menyelamatkan diri (dari padanya).
EN Translation A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour!
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٦
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فَاِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ ٣٧
ID Translation Maka apabila langit telah terbelah dan menjadi merah mawar seperti (kilapan) minyak.
EN Translation And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٣٨
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖٓ اِنْسٌ وَّلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ ٣٩
ID Translation Pada waktu itu manusia dan jin tidak ditanya tentang dosanya.
EN Translation For on that Day neither man nor invisible being will be asked about his sins.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٤٠
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيْ وَالْاَقْدَامِۚ ٤١
ID Translation Orang-orang yang berdosa dikenal dengan tanda-tandannya, lalu dipegang ubun-ubun dan kaki mereka.
EN Translation All who were lost in sin shall by their marks be known, and shall by their forelocks and their feet be seized!
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٤٢
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَۘ ٤٣
ID Translation Inilah neraka Jahannam yang didustakan oleh orang-orang berdosa.
EN Translation This will be the hell which those who are lost in sin [now] call a lie:
يَطُوْفُوْنَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيْمٍ اٰنٍۚ ٤٤
ID Translation Mereka berkeliling di antaranya dan di antara air mendidih yang memuncak panasnya.
EN Translation between it and [their own] burning-hot despair will they wander to and fro!
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٤٥
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ ٤٦
ID Translation Dan bagi orang yang takut akan saat menghadap Tuhannya ada dua surga.
EN Translation BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer’s Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] -
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ ٤٧
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?,
EN Translation which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow? –
ذَوَاتَآ اَفْنَانٍۚ ٤٨
ID Translation kedua surga itu mempunyai pohon-pohonan dan buah-buahan.
EN Translation [two gardens] of many wondrous hues.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٤٩
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِمَا عَيْنٰنِ تَجْرِيٰنِۚ ٥٠
ID Translation Di dalam kedua surga itu ada dua buah mata air yang mengalir
EN Translation In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥١
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجٰنِۚ ٥٢
ID Translation Di dalam kedua surga itu terdapat segala macam buah-buahan yang berpasangan.
EN Translation In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found].
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٥٣
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer s powers can you disavow?
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى فُرُشٍۢ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقٍۗ وَجَنَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍۚ ٥٤
ID Translation Mereka bertelekan di atas permadani yang sebelah dalamnya dari sutera. Dan buah-buahan di kedua surga itu dapat (dipetik) dari dekat.
EN Translation [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥٥
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرْفِۙ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ ٥٦
ID Translation Di dalam surga itu ada bidadari-bidadari yang sopan menundukkan pandangannya, tidak pernah disentuh oleh manusia sebelum mereka (penghuni-penghuni surga yang menjadi suami mereka), dan tidak pula oleh jin.
EN Translation In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٥٧
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
كَاَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوْتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُۚ ٥٨
ID Translation Seakan-akan bidadari itu permata yakut dan marjan.
EN Translation [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls –
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٥٩
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
هَلْ جَزَاۤءُ الْاِحْسَانِ اِلَّا الْاِحْسَانُۚ ٦٠
ID Translation Tidak ada balasan kebaikan kecuali kebaikan (pula).
EN Translation Could the reward of good be aught but good?
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٦١
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
وَمِنْ دُوْنِهِمَا جَنَّتٰنِۚ ٦٢
ID Translation Dan selain dari dua surga itu ada dua surga lagi
EN Translation And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens -
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ ٦٣
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow? –
مُدْهَاۤمَّتٰنِۚ ٦٤
ID Translation Kedua surga itu (kelihatan) hijau tua warnanya.
EN Translation two [gardens] of the deepest green.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ٦٥
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِمَا عَيْنٰنِ نَضَّاخَتٰنِۚ ٦٦
ID Translation Di dalam kedua surga itu ada dua buah mata air yang memancar.
EN Translation In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٦٧
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّنَخْلٌ وَّرُمَّانٌۚ ٦٨
ID Translation Di dalam keduanya (ada macam-macam) buah-buahan dan kurma serta delima.
EN Translation In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٦٩
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
فِيْهِنَّ خَيْرٰتٌ حِسَانٌۚ ٧٠
ID Translation Di dalam surga itu ada bidadari-bidadari yang baik-baik lagi cantik-cantik.
EN Translation In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٧١
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
حُوْرٌ مَّقْصُوْرٰتٌ فِى الْخِيَامِۚ ٧٢
ID Translation (Bidadari-bidadari) yang jelita, putih bersih, dipingit dalam rumah.
EN Translation [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] -
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٧٣
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow? –
لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَاۤنٌّۚ ٧٤
ID Translation Mereka tidak pernah disentuh oleh manusia sebelum mereka (penghuni-penghuni surga yang menjadi suami mereka), dan tidak pula oleh jin.
EN Translation [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٧٥
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
مُتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلٰى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَّعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍۚ ٧٦
ID Translation Mereka bertelekan pada bantal-bantal yang hijau dan permadani-permadani yang indah.
EN Translation [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty.
فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ ٧٧
ID Translation Maka nikmat Tuhan kamu yang manakah yang kamu dustakan?
EN Translation Which, then, of your Sustainer’s powers can you disavow?
تَبٰرَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِى الْجَلٰلِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ ٧٨
ID Translation Maha Agung nama Tuhanmu Yang Mempunyai Kebesaran dan Karunia.
EN Translation HALLOWED be thy Sustainer’s name, full of majesty and glory!
اِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْوَاقِعَةُۙ ١
ID Translation Apabila terjadi hari kiamat,
EN Translation WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass,
لَيْسَ لِوَقْعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ۘ ٢
ID Translation tidak seorangpun dapat berdusta tentang kejadiannya.
EN Translation there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass,
خَافِضَةٌ رَّافِعَةٌ ٣
ID Translation (Kejadian itu) merendahkan (satu golongan) dan meninggikan (golongan yang lain),
EN Translation abasing [some], exalting [others]!
اِذَا رُجَّتِ الْاَرْضُ رَجًّاۙ ٤
ID Translation apabila bumi digoncangkan sedahsyat-dahsyatnya,
EN Translation When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe],
وَّبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّاۙ ٥
ID Translation dan gunung-gunung dihancur luluhkan seluluh-luluhnya,
EN Translation and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards,
فَكَانَتْ هَبَاۤءً مُّنْۢبَثًّاۙ ٦
ID Translation maka jadilah ia debu yang beterbangan,
EN Translation so that they become as scattered dust –
وَّكُنْتُمْ اَزْوَاجًا ثَلٰثَةً ۗ ٧
ID Translation dan kamu menjadi tiga golongan.
EN Translation [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds.
فَاَصْحٰبُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ ەۙ مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الْمَيْمَنَةِ ۗ ٨
ID Translation Yaitu golongan kanan. Alangkah mulianya golongan kanan itu.
EN Translation Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right!
وَاَصْحٰبُ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ ەۙ مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الْمَشْـَٔمَةِ ۗ ٩
ID Translation Dan golongan kiri. Alangkah sengsaranya golongan kiri itu.
EN Translation And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil!
وَالسّٰبِقُوْنَ السّٰبِقُوْنَۙ ١٠
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang beriman paling dahulu,
EN Translation But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]:
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الْمُقَرَّبُوْنَۚ ١١
ID Translation Mereka itulah yang didekatkan kepada Allah.
EN Translation they who were [always] drawn close unto God!
فِيْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيْمِ ١٢
ID Translation Berada dalam jannah kenikmatan.
EN Translation In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] -
ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَۙ ١٣
ID Translation Segolongan besar dari orang-orang yang terdahulu,
EN Translation a good many of those of olden times,
وَقَلِيْلٌ مِّنَ الْاٰخِرِيْنَۗ ١٤
ID Translation dan segolongan kecil dari orang-orang yang kemudian
EN Translation but [only] a few of later times.
عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مَّوْضُوْنَةٍۙ ١٥
ID Translation Mereka berada di atas dipan yang bertahta emas dan permata,
EN Translation [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness,
مُّتَّكِـِٕيْنَ عَلَيْهَا مُتَقٰبِلِيْنَ ١٦
ID Translation seraya bertelekan di atasnya berhadap-hadapan.
EN Translation reclining upon them, facing one another [in love].
يَطُوْفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُّخَلَّدُوْنَۙ ١٧
ID Translation Mereka dikelilingi oleh anak-anak muda yang tetap muda,
EN Translation Immortal youths will wait upon them
بِاَكْوَابٍ وَّاَبَارِيْقَۙ وَكَأْسٍ مِّنْ مَّعِيْنٍۙ ١٨
ID Translation dengan membawa gelas, cerek dan minuman yang diambil dari air yang mengalir,
EN Translation with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs
لَّا يُصَدَّعُوْنَ عَنْهَا وَلَا يُنْزِفُوْنَۙ ١٩
ID Translation mereka tidak pening karenanya dan tidak pula mabuk,
EN Translation by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk;
وَفَاكِهَةٍ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُوْنَۙ ٢٠
ID Translation dan buah-buahan dari apa yang mereka pilih,
EN Translation and with fruit of any kind that they may choose,
وَلَحْمِ طَيْرٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُوْنَۗ ٢١
ID Translation dan daging burung dari apa yang mereka inginkan.
EN Translation and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire.
وَحُوْرٌ عِيْنٌۙ ٢٢
ID Translation Dan ada bidadari-bidadari bermata jeli,
EN Translation And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye,
كَاَمْثَالِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ الْمَكْنُوْنِۚ ٢٣
ID Translation laksana mutiara yang tersimpan baik.
EN Translation like unto pearls [still] hidden in their shells.
جَزَاۤءًۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٢٤
ID Translation Sebagai balasan bagi apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.
EN Translation [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life].
لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّلَا تَأْثِيْمًاۙ ٢٥
ID Translation Mereka tidak mendengar di dalamnya perkataan yang sia-sia dan tidak pula perkataan yang menimbulkan dosa,
EN Translation No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin,
اِلَّا قِيْلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا ٢٦
ID Translation akan tetapi mereka mendengar ucapan salam.
EN Translation but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace.
وَاَصْحٰبُ الْيَمِينِ ەۙ مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الْيَمِيْنِۗ ٢٧
ID Translation Dan golongan kanan, alangkah bahagianya golongan kanan itu.
EN Translation NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness?
فِيْ سِدْرٍ مَّخْضُوْدٍۙ ٢٨
ID Translation Berada di antara pohon bidara yang tak berduri,
EN Translation [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit- laden lote-trees,
وَّطَلْحٍ مَّنْضُوْدٍۙ ٢٩
ID Translation dan pohon pisang yang bersusun-susun (buahnya),
EN Translation and acacias flower-clad,
وَّظِلٍّ مَّمْدُوْدٍۙ ٣٠
ID Translation dan naungan yang terbentang luas,
EN Translation and shade extended,
وَّمَاۤءٍ مَّسْكُوْبٍۙ ٣١
ID Translation dan air yang tercurah,
EN Translation and waters gushing,
وَّفَاكِهَةٍ كَثِيْرَةٍۙ ٣٢
ID Translation dan buah-buahan yang banyak,
EN Translation and fruit abounding,
لَّا مَقْطُوْعَةٍ وَّلَا مَمْنُوْعَةٍۙ ٣٣
ID Translation yang tidak berhenti (berbuah) dan tidak terlarang mengambilnya.
EN Translation never-failing and never out of reach.
وَّفُرُشٍ مَّرْفُوْعَةٍۗ ٣٤
ID Translation dan kasur-kasur yang tebal lagi empuk.
EN Translation And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high:
اِنَّآ اَنْشَأْنٰهُنَّ اِنْشَاۤءًۙ ٣٥
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami menciptakan mereka (bidadari-bidadari) dengan langsung
EN Translation for, behold, We shall have brought them into being in a life renewed,
فَجَعَلْنٰهُنَّ اَبْكَارًاۙ ٣٦
ID Translation dan Kami jadikan mereka gadis-gadis perawan.
EN Translation having resurrected them as virgins,
عُرُبًا اَتْرَابًاۙ ٣٧
ID Translation penuh cinta lagi sebaya umurnya.
EN Translation full of love, well-matched
لِّاَصْحٰبِ الْيَمِيْنِۗ ٣٨
ID Translation (Kami ciptakan mereka) untuk golongan kanan,
EN Translation with those who have attained to righteousness:
ثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَۙ ٣٩
ID Translation (yaitu) segolongan besar dari orang-orang yang terdahulu.
EN Translation a good many of olden times,
وَثُلَّةٌ مِّنَ الْاٰخِرِيْنَۗ ٤٠
ID Translation dan segolongan besar pula dari orang-orang yang kemudian.
EN Translation and a good many of later times.
وَاَصْحٰبُ الشِّمَالِ ەۙ مَآ اَصْحٰبُ الشِّمَالِۗ ٤١
ID Translation Dan golongan kiri, siapakah golongan kiri itu?
EN Translation BUT AS FOR those who have persevered in evil - what of those who have persevered in evil?
فِيْ سَمُوْمٍ وَّحَمِيْمٍۙ ٤٢
ID Translation Dalam (siksaan) angin yang amat panas, dan air panas yang mendidih,
EN Translation [They will find themselves] in the midst of scorching winds, and burning despair,
وَّظِلٍّ مِّنْ يَّحْمُوْمٍۙ ٤٣
ID Translation dan dalam naungan asap yang hitam.
EN Translation and the shadows of black smoke -
لَّا بَارِدٍ وَّلَا كَرِيْمٍ ٤٤
ID Translation Tidak sejuk dan tidak menyenangkan.
EN Translation [shadows] neither cooling nor soothing.
اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ مُتْرَفِيْنَۚ ٤٥
ID Translation Sesungguhnya mereka sebelum itu hidup bermewahan.
EN Translation For, behold, in times gone by they were wont to abandon themselves wholly to the pursuit of pleasures,
وَكَانُوْا يُصِرُّوْنَ عَلَى الْحِنْثِ الْعَظِيْمِۚ ٤٦
ID Translation Dan mereka terus-menerus mengerjakan dosa besar.
EN Translation and would persist in heinous sinning,
وَكَانُوْا يَقُوْلُوْنَ ەۙ اَىِٕذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَۙ ٤٧
ID Translation Dan mereka selalu mengatakan: "Apakah bila kami mati dan menjadi tanah dan tulang belulang, apakah sesungguhnya kami akan benar-benar dibangkitkan kembali?
EN Translation and would say, “What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? -
اَوَاٰبَاۤؤُنَا الْاَوَّلُوْنَ ٤٨
ID Translation apakah bapak-bapak kami yang terdahulu (juga)?"
EN Translation and perhaps, too, our forebears of old?”
قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْاٰخِرِيْنَۙ ٤٩
ID Translation Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang terdahulu dan orang-orang yang terkemudian,
EN Translation Say: “Verily, those of olden times and those of later times
لَمَجْمُوْعُوْنَۙ اِلٰى مِيْقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ ٥٠
ID Translation benar-benar akan dikumpulkan di waktu tertentu pada hari yang dikenal.
EN Translation will indeed be gathered together at an appointed time on a Day known [only to God]:
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ اَيُّهَا الضَّاۤ لُّوْنَ الْمُكَذِّبُوْنَۙ ٥١
ID Translation Kemudian sesungguhnya kamu hai orang-orang yang sesat lagi mendustakan,
EN Translation and then, verily, O you who have gone astray and called the truth a lie,
لَاٰكِلُوْنَ مِنْ شَجَرٍ مِّنْ زَقُّوْمٍۙ ٥٢
ID Translation benar-benar akan memakan pohon zaqqum,
EN Translation you will indeed have to taste of the tree of deadly fruit,
فَمَالِـُٔوْنَ مِنْهَا الْبُطُوْنَۚ ٥٣
ID Translation dan akan memenuhi perutmu dengannya.
EN Translation and will have to fill your bellies therewith,
فَشَارِبُوْنَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْحَمِيْمِۚ ٥٤
ID Translation Sesudah itu kamu akan meminum air yang sangat panas.
EN Translation and will thereupon have to drink [many a draught] of burning despair -
فَشَارِبُوْنَ شُرْبَ الْهِيْمِۗ ٥٥
ID Translation Maka kamu minum seperti unta yang sangat haus minum.
EN Translation drink it as the most insatiably thirsty camels drink!”
هٰذَا نُزُلُهُمْ يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِۗ ٥٦
ID Translation Itulah hidangan untuk mereka pada hari Pembalasan".
EN Translation Such will be their welcome on Judgment Day!
نَحْنُ خَلَقْنٰكُمْ فَلَوْلَا تُصَدِّقُوْنَ ٥٧
ID Translation Kami telah menciptakan kamu, maka mengapa kamu tidak membenarkan?
EN Translation WE who have created you, [O men:] why, then, do you not accept the truth?
اَفَرَءَيْتُمْ مَّا تُمْنُوْنَۗ ٥٨
ID Translation Maka terangkanlah kepadaku tentang nutfah yang kamu pancarkan.
EN Translation Have you ever considered that [seed] which you emit?
ءَاَنْتُمْ تَخْلُقُوْنَهٗٓ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْخَالِقُوْنَ ٥٩
ID Translation Kamukah yang menciptakannya, atau Kamikah yang menciptakannya?
EN Translation Is it you who create it - or are We the source of its creation?
نَحْنُ قَدَّرْنَا بَيْنَكُمُ الْمَوْتَ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوْقِيْنَۙ ٦٠
ID Translation Kami telah menentukan kematian di antara kamu dan Kami sekali-sekali tidak akan dapat dikalahkan,
EN Translation We have [indeed] decreed that death shall be [ever-present] among you: but there is nothing to prevent Us
عَلٰٓى اَنْ نُّبَدِّلَ اَمْثَالَكُمْ وَنُنْشِئَكُمْ فِيْ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٦١
ID Translation untuk menggantikan kamu dengan orang-orang yang seperti kamu (dalam dunia) dan menciptakan kamu kelak (di akhirat) dalam keadaan yang tidak kamu ketahui.
EN Translation from changing the nature of your existence and bringing you into being [anew] in a manner [as yet] unknown to you.
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ النَّشْاَةَ الْاُوْلٰى فَلَوْلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ٦٢
ID Translation Dan Sesungguhnya kamu telah mengetahui penciptaan yang pertama, maka mengapakah kamu tidak mengambil pelajaran (untuk penciptaan yang kedua)?
EN Translation And [since] you are indeed aware of the [miracle of your] coming into being in the first instance - why, then, do you not bethink yourselves [of Us]?
اَفَرَءَيْتُمْ مَّا تَحْرُثُوْنَۗ ٦٣
ID Translation Maka terangkanlah kepadaku tentang yang kamu tanam.
EN Translation Have you ever considered the seed which you cast upon the soil?
ءَاَنْتُمْ تَزْرَعُوْنَهٗٓ اَمْ نَحْنُ الزَّارِعُوْنَ ٦٤
ID Translation Kamukah yang menumbuhkannya atau Kamikah yang menumbuhkannya?
EN Translation Is it you who cause it to grow - or are We the cause of its growth?
لَوْ نَشَاۤءُ لَجَعَلْنٰهُ حُطَامًا فَظَلْتُمْ تَفَكَّهُوْنَۙ ٦٥
ID Translation Kalau Kami kehendaki, benar-benar Kami jadikan dia hancur dan kering, maka jadilah kamu heran dan tercengang.
EN Translation [For,] were it Our will, We could indeed turn it into chaff, and you would be left to wonder [and to lament],
اِنَّا لَمُغْرَمُوْنَۙ ٦٦
ID Translation (Sambil berkata): "Sesungguhnya kami benar-benar menderita kerugian",
EN Translation “Verily, we are ruined!
بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُوْمُوْنَ ٦٧
ID Translation bahkan kami menjadi orang-orang yang tidak mendapat hasil apa-apa.
EN Translation Nay, but we have been deprived [of our livelihood]!”
اَفَرَءَيْتُمُ الْمَاۤءَ الَّذِيْ تَشْرَبُوْنَۗ ٦٨
ID Translation Maka terangkanlah kepadaku tentang air yang kamu minum.
EN Translation Have you ever considered the water which you drink?
ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْزَلْتُمُوْهُ مِنَ الْمُزْنِ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْزِلُوْنَ ٦٩
ID Translation Kamukah yang menurunkannya atau Kamikah yang menurunkannya?
EN Translation Is it you who cause it to come down from the clouds - or are We the cause of its coming down?
لَوْ نَشَاۤءُ جَعَلْنٰهُ اُجَاجًا فَلَوْلَا تَشْكُرُوْنَ ٧٠
ID Translation Kalau Kami kehendaki, niscaya Kami jadikan dia asin, maka mengapakah kamu tidak bersyukur?
EN Translation [It comes down sweet - but] were it Our will, We could make it burningly salty and bitter: why, then, do you not give thanks [unto Us]?
اَفَرَءَيْتُمُ النَّارَ الَّتِيْ تُوْرُوْنَۗ ٧١
ID Translation Maka terangkanlah kepadaku tentang api yang kamu nyalakan (dengan menggosok-gosokkan kayu).
EN Translation Have you ever considered the fire which you kindle?
ءَاَنْتُمْ اَنْشَأْتُمْ شَجَرَتَهَآ اَمْ نَحْنُ الْمُنْشِـُٔوْنَ ٧٢
ID Translation Kamukah yang menjadikan kayu itu atau Kamikah yang menjadikannya?
EN Translation Is it you who have brought into being the tree that serves as its fuel - or are We the cause of its coming into being?
نَحْنُ جَعَلْنٰهَا تَذْكِرَةً وَّمَتَاعًا لِّلْمُقْوِيْنَۚ ٧٣
ID Translation Kami jadikan api itu untuk peringatan dan bahan yang berguna bagi musafir di padang pasir.
EN Translation It is We who have made it a means to remind [you of Us], and a comfort for all who are lost and hungry in the wilderness [of their lives].
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيْمِ ٧٤
ID Translation Maka bertasbihlah dengan (menyebut) nama Rabbmu Yang Maha Besar.
EN Translation Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer’s mighty name!
فَلَآ اُقْسِمُ بِمَوٰقِعِ النُّجُوْمِ ٧٥
ID Translation Maka Aku bersumpah dengan masa turunnya bagian-bagian Al-Quran.
EN Translation NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur’an]
وَاِنَّهٗ لَقَسَمٌ لَّوْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ عَظِيْمٌۙ ٧٦
ID Translation Sesungguhnya sumpah itu adalah sumpah yang besar kalau kamu mengetahui.
EN Translation and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it!
اِنَّهٗ لَقُرْاٰنٌ كَرِيْمٌۙ ٧٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Al-Quran ini adalah bacaan yang sangat mulia,
EN Translation Behold, it is a truly noble discourse,
فِيْ كِتٰبٍ مَّكْنُوْنٍۙ ٧٨
ID Translation pada kitab yang terpelihara (Lauhul Mahfuzh),
EN Translation [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ
لَّا يَمَسُّهٗٓ اِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُوْنَۙ ٧٩
ID Translation tidak menyentuhnya kecuali orang-orang yang disucikan.
EN Translation which none but the pure [of heart] can touch:
تَنْزِيْلٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨٠
ID Translation Diturunkan dari Rabbil 'alamiin.
EN Translation a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds!
اَفَبِهٰذَا الْحَدِيْثِ اَنْتُمْ مُّدْهِنُوْنَ ٨١
ID Translation Maka apakah kamu menganggap remeh saja Al-Quran ini?
EN Translation Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this,
وَتَجْعَلُوْنَ رِزْقَكُمْ اَنَّكُمْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ ٨٢
ID Translation kamu mengganti rezeki (yang Allah berikan) dengan mendustakan Allah.
EN Translation and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie?
فَلَوْلَآ اِذَا بَلَغَتِ الْحُلْقُوْمَۙ ٨٣
ID Translation Maka mengapa ketika nyawa sampai di kerongkongan,
EN Translation Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man],
وَاَنْتُمْ حِيْنَىِٕذٍ تَنْظُرُوْنَۙ ٨٤
ID Translation padahal kamu ketika itu melihat,
EN Translation the while you are [helplessly] looking on -
وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنْكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا تُبْصِرُوْنَ ٨٥
ID Translation dan Kami lebih dekat kepadanya dari pada kamu. Tetapi kamu tidak melihat,
EN Translation and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not -:
فَلَوْلَآ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِيْنِيْنَۙ ٨٦
ID Translation maka mengapa jika kamu tidak dikuasai (oleh Allah)?
EN Translation why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us],
تَرْجِعُوْنَهَآ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٨٧
ID Translation Kamu tidak mengembalikan nyawa itu (kepada tempatnya) jika kamu adalah orang-orang yang benar?
EN Translation can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true?
فَاَمَّآ اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَۙ ٨٨
ID Translation adapun jika dia (orang yang mati) termasuk orang-orang yang didekatkan (kepada Allah),
EN Translation [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God,
فَرَوْحٌ وَّرَيْحَانٌ ەۙ وَّجَنَّتُ نَعِيْمٍ ٨٩
ID Translation maka dia memperoleh ketenteraman dan rezeki serta jannah kenikmatan.
EN Translation happiness [awaits him in the life to come], and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss.
وَاَمَّآ اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْيَمِيْنِۙ ٩٠
ID Translation Dan adapun jika dia termasuk golongan kanan,
EN Translation And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness,
فَسَلٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْيَمِيْنِۗ ٩١
ID Translation maka keselamatanlah bagimu karena kamu dari golongan kanan.
EN Translation [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] “Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!”
وَاَمَّآ اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ الضَّاۤلِّيْنَۙ ٩٢
ID Translation Dan adapun jika dia termasuk golongan yang mendustakan lagi sesat,
EN Translation But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray,
فَنُزُلٌ مِّنْ حَمِيْمٍۙ ٩٣
ID Translation maka dia mendapat hidangan air yang mendidih,
EN Translation a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,]
وَّتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيْمٍ ٩٤
ID Translation dan dibakar di dalam jahannam.
EN Translation and the heat of a blazing fire!
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ الْيَقِيْنِۚ ٩٥
ID Translation Sesungguhnya (yang disebutkan ini) adalah suatu keyakinan yang benar.
EN Translation Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths!
فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيْمِ ٩٦
ID Translation Maka bertasbihlah dengan (menyebut) nama Rabbmu yang Maha Besar.
EN Translation Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer’s mighty name!
سَبَّحَ لِلّٰهِ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١
ID Translation Semua yang berada di langit dan yang berada di bumi bertasbih kepada Allah (menyatakan kebesaran Allah). Dan Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.
EN Translation ALL THAT IS in the heavens and on earth extols God’s limitless glory: for He alone is almighty, truly wise!
لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۚ يُحْيٖ وَيُمِيْتُۚ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٢
ID Translation Kepunyaan-Nya-lah kerajaan langit dan bumi, Dia menghidupkan dan mematikan, dan Dia Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.
EN Translation His is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; He grants life and deals death; and He has the power to will anything.
هُوَ الْاَوَّلُ وَالْاٰخِرُ وَالظَّاهِرُ وَالْبَاطِنُۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ٣
ID Translation Dialah Yang Awal dan Yang Akhir Yang Zhahir dan Yang Bathin; dan Dia Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu.
EN Translation He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything.
هُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيْهَاۗ وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ اَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌۗ ٤
ID Translation Dialah yang menciptakan langit dan bumi dalam enam masa: Kemudian Dia bersemayam di atas 'Arsy. Dia mengetahui apa yang masuk ke dalam bumi dan apa yang keluar daripadanya dan apa yang turun dari langit dan apa yang naik kepada-Nya. Dan Dia bersama kamu di mana saja kamu berada. Dan Allah Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan.
EN Translation He it is who has created the heavens and the earth in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness. He knows all that enters the earth, and all that comes out of it, as well as all that descends from the skies, and all that ascends to them. And He is with you wherever you may be; and God sees all that you do.
لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُرْجَعُ الْاُمُوْرُ ٥
ID Translation Kepunyaan-Nya-lah kerajaan langit dan bumi. Dan kepada Allah-lah dikembalikan segala urusan.
EN Translation His is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and all things go back unto God [as their source].
يُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَيُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِۗ وَهُوَ عَلِيْمٌ ۢبِذَاتِ الصُّدُوْرِ ٦
ID Translation Dialah yang memasukkan malam ke dalam siang dan memasukkan siang ke dalam malam. Dan Dia Maha Mengetahui segala isi hati.
EN Translation He makes the night grow longer by shortening the day, and makes the day grow longer by shortening the night; and He has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men].
اٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖ وَاَنْفِقُوْا مِمَّا جَعَلَكُمْ مُّسْتَخْلَفِيْنَ فِيْهِۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْ وَاَنْفَقُوْا لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ كَبِيْرٌ ٧
ID Translation Berimanlah kamu kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya dan nafkahkanlah sebagian dari hartamu yang Allah telah menjadikan kamu menguasainya. Maka orang-orang yang beriman di antara kamu dan menafkahkan (sebagian) dari hartanya memperoleh pahala yang besar.
EN Translation BELIEVE in God and His Apostle, and spend on others out of that of which He has made you trustees: for, those of you who have attained to faith and who spend freely [in God’s cause] shall have a great reward.
وَمَا لَكُمْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ ۚوَالرَّسُوْلُ يَدْعُوْكُمْ لِتُؤْمِنُوْا بِرَبِّكُمْ وَقَدْ اَخَذَ مِيْثَاقَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٨
ID Translation Dan mengapa kamu tidak beriman kepada Allah padahal Rasul menyeru kamu supaya kamu beriman kepada Tuhanmu. Dan sesungguhnya Dia telah mengambil perjanjianmu jika kamu adalah orang-orang yang beriman.
EN Translation And why should you not believe in God, seeing that the Apostle calls you to believe in [Him who is] your Sustainer, and [seeing that] He has taken a pledge from you? [Why should you not believe in Him] if you are able to believe [in anything]?
هُوَ الَّذِيْ يُنَزِّلُ عَلٰى عَبْدِهٖٓ اٰيٰتٍۢ بَيِّنٰتٍ لِّيُخْرِجَكُمْ مِّنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ اِلَى النُّوْرِۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُمْ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٩
ID Translation Dialah yang menurunkan kepada hamba-Nya ayat-ayat yang terang (Al-Quran) supaya Dia mengeluarkan kamu dari kegelapan kepada cahaya. Dan sesungguhnya Allah benar-benar Maha Penyantun lagi Maha Penyayang terhadapmu.
EN Translation It is He who bestows from on high clear messages unto [this] His servant, to lead you out of the deep darkness into the light: for, behold, God is most compassionate towards you, a dispenser of grace.
وَمَا لَكُمْ اَلَّا تُنْفِقُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَلِلّٰهِ مِيْرَاثُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ لَا يَسْتَوِيْ مِنْكُمْ مَّنْ اَنْفَقَ مِنْ قَبْلِ الْفَتْحِ وَقَاتَلَۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْفَقُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدُ وَقَاتَلُوْاۗ وَكُلًّا وَّعَدَ اللّٰهُ الْحُسْنٰىۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ١٠
ID Translation Dan mengapa kamu tidak menafkahkan (sebagian hartamu) pada jalan Allah, padahal Allah-lah yang mempusakai (mempunyai) langit dan bumi? Tidak sama di antara kamu orang yang menafkahkan (hartanya) dan berperang sebelum penaklukan (Mekah). Mereka lebih tingi derajatnya daripada orang-orang yang menafkahkan (hartanya) dan berperang sesudah itu. Allah menjanjikan kepada masing-masing mereka (balasan) yang lebih baik. Dan Allah mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan.
EN Translation And why should you not spend freely in the cause of God, seeing that God’s [alone] is the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Not equal are those of you who spent and fought [in God’s cause] before the Victory [and those who did not do so]: they are of a higher rank than those who would spend and fight [only] after it - although God has promised the ultimate good to all [who strive in His cause]. and god is aware of that you do.
مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يُقْرِضُ اللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضٰعِفَهٗ لَهٗ وَلَهٗٓ اَجْرٌ كَرِيْمٌ ١١
ID Translation Siapakah yang mau meminjamkan kepada Allah pinjaman yang baik, maka Allah akan melipat-gandakan (balasan) pinjaman itu untuknya, dan dia akan memperoleh pahala yang banyak.
EN Translation WHO IS IT that will offer up unto God a goodly loan, which He will amply repay For, such [as do so] shall have a noble reward
يَوْمَ تَرَى الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ يَسْعٰى نُوْرُهُمْ بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَبِاَيْمَانِهِمْ بُشْرٰىكُمُ الْيَوْمَ جَنّٰتٌ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيْمُۚ ١٢
ID Translation (yaitu) pada hari ketika kamu melihat orang mukmin laki-laki dan perempuan, sedang cahaya mereka bersinar di hadapan dan di sebelah kanan mereka, (dikatakan kepada mereka): "Pada hari ini ada berita gembira untukmu, (yaitu) surga yang mengalir di bawahnya sungai-sungai, yang kamu kekal di dalamnya. Itulah keberuntungan yang besar".
EN Translation on the Day when thou shalt see all believing men and believing women, with their light spreading rapidly before them and on their right, [and with this welcome awaiting them:] “A glad tiding for you today: gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide! This, this is the triumph supreme!”
يَوْمَ يَقُوْلُ الْمُنٰفِقُوْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتُ لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا انْظُرُوْنَا نَقْتَبِسْ مِنْ نُّوْرِكُمْۚ قِيْلَ ارْجِعُوْا وَرَاۤءَكُمْ فَالْتَمِسُوْا نُوْرًاۗ فَضُرِبَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِسُوْرٍ لَّهٗ بَابٌۗ بَاطِنُهٗ فِيْهِ الرَّحْمَةُ وَظَاهِرُهٗ مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْعَذَابُۗ ١٣
ID Translation Pada hari ketika orang-orang munafik laki-laki dan perempuan berkata kepada orang-orang yang beriman: "Tunggulah kami supaya kami dapat mengambil sebahagian dari cahayamu". Dikatakan (kepada mereka): "Kembalilah kamu ke belakang dan carilah sendiri cahaya (untukmu)". Lalu diadakan di antara mereka dinding yang mempunyai pintu. Di sebelah dalamnya ada rahmat dan di sebelah luarnya dari situ ada siksa.
EN Translation On that Day shall the hypocrites, both men and women, speak [thus] unto those who have attained to faith: “Wait for us! Let us have a [ray of] light from your light!” [But] they will be told: “Turn back, and seek a light [of your own]!” And thereupon a wall will be raised between them [and the believers], with a gate in it: within it will be grace and mercy, and against the outside thereof, suffering.
يُنَادُوْنَهُمْ اَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَّعَكُمْۗ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْاَمَانِيُّ حَتّٰى جَاۤءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ ١٤
ID Translation Orang-orang munafik itu memanggil mereka (orang-orang mukmin) seraya berkata: "Bukankah kami dahulu bersama-sama dengan kamu?" Mereka menjawab: "Benar, tetapi kamu mencelakakan dirimu sendiri dan menunggu (kehancuran kami) dan kamu ragu-ragu serta ditipu oleh angan-angan kosong sehingga datanglah ketetapan Allah; dan kamu telah ditipu terhadap Allah oleh (syaitan) yang amat penipu.
EN Translation They [who will remain without] will call out to those [within], “Were we not with you?” - [to which] the others will answer: “So it was! But you allowed yourselves to succumb to temptation, and you were hesitant [in your faith], and you were doubtful [of resurrection]; and your wishful thinking beguiled you until God’s command came to pass: for, [indeed, your own] deceptive thoughts about God deluded you
فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْكُمْ فِدْيَةٌ وَّلَا مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۗ مَأْوٰىكُمُ النَّارُۗ هِيَ مَوْلٰىكُمْۗ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ١٥
ID Translation Maka pada hari ini tidak diterima tebusan dari kamu dan tidak pula dari orang-orang kafir. Tempat kamu ialah neraka. Dialah tempat berlindungmu. Dan dia adalah sejahat-jahat tempat kembali".
EN Translation “And so, no ransom shall be accepted today from you, and neither from those who were [openly] bent on denying the truth. Your goal is the fire: it is your [only] refuge - and how evil a journey’s end!”
اَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوْبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّۙ وَلَا يَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْاَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْۗ وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ١٦
ID Translation Belumkah datang waktunya bagi orang-orang yang beriman, untuk tunduk hati mereka mengingat Allah dan kepada kebenaran yang telah turun (kepada mereka), dan janganlah mereka seperti orang-orang yang sebelumnya telah diturunkan Al Kitab kepadanya, kemudian berlalulah masa yang panjang atas mereka lalu hati mereka menjadi keras. Dan kebanyakan di antara mereka adalah orang-orang yang fasik.
EN Translation IS IT NOT time that the hearts of all who have attained to faith should feel humble at the remembrance of God and of all the truth that has been bestowed [on them] from on high, lest they become like those who were granted revelation aforetime, and whose hearts have hardened with the passing of time so that many of them are [now] depraved?
اِعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحْيِ الْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْاٰيٰتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ ١٧
ID Translation Ketahuilah olehmu bahwa sesungguhnya Allah menghidupkan bumi sesudah matinya. Sesungguhnya Kami telah menjelaskan kepadamu tanda-tanda kebesaran (Kami) supaya kamu memikirkannya.
EN Translation [But] know that God gives life to the earth after it has been lifeless! We have indeed made Our messages clear unto you, so that you might use your reason.
اِنَّ الْمُصَّدِّقِيْنَ وَالْمُصَّدِّقٰتِ وَاَقْرَضُوا اللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُّضٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ اَجْرٌ كَرِيْمٌ ١٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang membenarkan (Allah dan Rasul-Nya) baik laki-laki maupun perempuan dan meminjamkan kepada Allah pinjaman yang baik, niscaya akan dilipatgandakan (pembayarannya) kepada mereka; dan bagi mereka pahala yang banyak.
EN Translation Verily, as for the men and women who accept the truth as true and who [thus] offer up unto God a goodly loan, they will be amply repaid, and shall have a noble reward [in the life to come].
وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖٓ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيْقُوْنَ ۖوَالشُّهَدَاۤءُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۗ لَهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ وَنُوْرُهُمْۗ وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِيْمِ ١٩
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya, mereka itu orang-orang Shiddiqien dan orang-orang yang menjadi saksi di sisi Tuhan mereka. Bagi mereka pahala dan cahaya mereka. Dan orang-orang yang kafir dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami, mereka itulah penghuni-penghuni neraka.
EN Translation For, they who have attained to faith in God and His Apostle - it is they, they who uphold the truth, and they who bear witness [thereto] before God: [and so] they shall have their reward and their light! But as for those who are bent on denying the truth and on giving the lie to Our messages - it is they who are destined for the blazing fire!
اِعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهْوٌ وَّزِيْنَةٌ وَّتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِى الْاَمْوَالِ وَالْاَوْلَادِۗ كَمَثَلِ غَيْثٍ اَعْجَبَ الْكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهٗ ثُمَّ يَهِيْجُ فَتَرٰىهُ مُصْفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكُوْنُ حُطَامًاۗ وَفِى الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيْدٌۙ وَّمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضْوَانٌ ۗوَمَا الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَآ اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُوْرِ ٢٠
ID Translation Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya kehidupan dunia ini hanyalah permainan dan suatu yang melalaikan, perhiasan dan bermegah-megah antara kamu serta berbangga-banggaan tentang banyaknya harta dan anak, seperti hujan yang tanam-tanamannya mengagumkan para petani; kemudian tanaman itu menjadi kering dan kamu lihat warnanya kuning kemudian menjadi hancur. Dan di akhirat (nanti) ada azab yang keras dan ampunan dari Allah serta keridhaan-Nya. Dan kehidupan dunia ini tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang menipu.
EN Translation KNOW [O men] that the life of this world is but a play and a passing delight, and a beautiful show, and [the cause of] your boastful vying with one another, and [of your] greed for more and more riches and children. Its parable is that of [life-giving] rain: the herbage which it causes to grow delights the tillers of the soil; but then it withers, and thou canst see it turn yellow; and in the end it crumbles into dust. But [the abiding truth of man’s condition will become fully apparent] in the life to come: [either] suffering severe, or God’s forgiveness and His goodly acceptance: for the life of this world is nothing but an enjoyment of self-delusion.
سَابِقُوْٓا اِلٰى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاۤءِ وَالْاَرْضِۙ اُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِهٖۗ ذٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ يُؤْتِيْهِ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۚوَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ ٢١
ID Translation Berlomba-lombalah kamu kepada (mendapatkan) ampunan dari Tuhanmu dan surga yang luasnya seluas langit dan bumi, yang disediakan bagi orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan Rasul-rasul-Nya. Itulah karunia Allah, diberikan-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya. Dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar.
EN Translation [Hence,] vie with one another in seeking to attain to your Sustainer’s forgiveness, and [thus] to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for those who have attained to faith in God and His Apostle: such is the bounty of God which He grants unto whomever He wills - for God is limitless in His great bounty.
مَآ اَصَابَ مِنْ مُّصِيْبَةٍ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِكُمْ اِلَّا فِيْ كِتٰبٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ نَّبْرَاَهَا ۗاِنَّ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ يَسِيْرٌۖ ٢٢
ID Translation Tiada suatu bencanapun yang menimpa di bumi dan (tidak pula) pada dirimu sendiri melainkan telah tertulis dalam kitab (Lauhul Mahfuzh) sebelum Kami menciptakannya. Sesungguhnya yang demikian itu adalah mudah bagi Allah.
EN Translation NO CALAMITY can ever befall the earth, and neither your own selves, unless it be [laid down] in Our decree before We bring it into being: verily, all this is easy for God.
لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوْا بِمَآ اٰتٰىكُمْ ۗوَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍۙ ٢٣
ID Translation (Kami jelaskan yang demikian itu) supaya kamu jangan berduka cita terhadap apa yang luput dari kamu, dan supaya kamu jangan terlalu gembira terhadap apa yang diberikan-Nya kepadamu. Dan Allah tidak menyukai setiap orang yang sombong lagi membanggakan diri,
EN Translation [Know this,] so that you may not despair over whatever [good] has escaped you nor exult [unduly] over whatever [good] has come to you: for, God does not love any of those who, out of self-conceit, act in a boastful manner –
ۨالَّذِيْنَ يَبْخَلُوْنَ وَيَأْمُرُوْنَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ ۗوَمَنْ يَّتَوَلَّ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيْدُ ٢٤
ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang kikir dan menyuruh manusia berbuat kikir. Dan barangsiapa yang berpaling (dari perintah-perintah Allah) maka sesungguhnya Allah Dialah Yang Maha Kaya lagi Maha Terpuji.
EN Translation those who are niggardly [with God’s bounty] and bid others to be niggardly! And he who turns his back [on this truth ought to know that], verily, God alone is self-sufficient, the One to whom all praise is due!
لَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلَنَا بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ وَاَنْزَلْنَا مَعَهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْمِيْزَانَ لِيَقُوْمَ النَّاسُ بِالْقِسْطِۚ وَاَنْزَلْنَا الْحَدِيْدَ فِيْهِ بَأْسٌ شَدِيْدٌ وَّمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللّٰهُ مَنْ يَّنْصُرُهٗ وَرُسُلَهٗ بِالْغَيْبِۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيْزٌ ٢٥
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami telah mengutus rasul-rasul Kami dengan membawa bukti-bukti yang nyata dan telah Kami turunkan bersama mereka Al Kitab dan neraca (keadilan) supaya manusia dapat melaksanakan keadilan. Dan Kami ciptakan besi yang padanya terdapat kekuatan yang hebat dan berbagai manfaat bagi manusia, (supaya mereka mempergunakan besi itu) dan supaya Allah mengetahui siapa yang menolong (agama)Nya dan rasul-rasul-Nya padahal Allah tidak dilihatnya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuat lagi Maha Perkasa.
EN Translation Indeed, [even aforetime] did We send forth Our apostles with all evidence of [this] truth; and through them We bestowed revelation from on high, and [thus gave you] a balance [wherewith to weigh right and wrong], so that men might behave with equity; and We bestowed [upon you] from on high [the ability to make use of] iron, in which there is awesome power as well as [a source of] benefits for man: and [all this was given to you] so that God might mark out those who would stand up for him and His Apostle, even though He [Himself] is beyond the reach of human perception. Verily, God is powerful, almighty!
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا وَّاِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتٰبَ فَمِنْهُمْ مُّهْتَدٍۚ وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ٢٦
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengutus Nuh dan Ibrahim dan Kami jadikan kepada keturunan keduanya kenabian dan Al Kitab, maka di antara mereka ada yang menerima petunjuk dan banyak di antara mereka fasik.
EN Translation And, indeed, [to the same end] We sent forth Noah and Abraham [as Our message-bearers], and established prophethood and revelation among their descendants; and some of them were on the right way, but many were iniquitous.
ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلٰٓى اٰثَارِهِمْ بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيْسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَاٰتَيْنٰهُ الْاِنْجِيْلَ ەۙ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْ قُلُوْبِ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّبَعُوْهُ رَأْفَةً وَّرَحْمَةً ۗوَرَهْبَانِيَّةَ ِۨابْتَدَعُوْهَا مَا كَتَبْنٰهَا عَلَيْهِمْ اِلَّا ابْتِغَاۤءَ رِضْوَانِ اللّٰهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا ۚفَاٰتَيْنَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْهُمْ اَجْرَهُمْ ۚ وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ٢٧
ID Translation Kemudian Kami iringi di belakang mereka dengan rasul-rasul Kami dan Kami iringi (pula) dengan Isa putra Maryam; dan Kami berikan kepadanya Injil dan Kami jadikan dalam hati orang-orang yang mengikutinya rasa santun dan kasih sayang. Dan mereka mengada-adakan rahbaniyyah padahal kami tidak mewajibkannya kepada mereka tetapi (mereka sendirilah yang mengada-adakannya) untuk mencari keridhaan Allah, lalu mereka tidak memeliharanya dengan pemeliharaan yang semestinya. Maka Kami berikan kepada orang-orang yang beriman di antara mereka pahalanya dan banyak di antara mereka orang-orang fasik.
EN Translation And thereupon We caused [other of] Our apostles to follow in their footsteps; and [in the course of time] We caused them to be followed by Jesus, the son of Mary, upon whom We bestowed the Gospel; and in the hearts of those who [truly] followed him We engendered compassion and mercy. But as for monastic asceticism - We did not enjoin it upon them: they invented it themselves out of a desire for God’s goodly acceptance. But then, they did not [always] observe it as it ought to have been observed: and so We granted their recompense unto such of them as had [truly] attained to faith, whereas many of them became iniquitous.
يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاٰمِنُوْا بِرَسُوْلِهٖ يُؤْتِكُمْ كِفْلَيْنِ مِنْ رَّحْمَتِهٖ وَيَجْعَلْ لَّكُمْ نُوْرًا تَمْشُوْنَ بِهٖ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌۙ ٢٨
ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman (kepada para rasul), bertakwalah kepada Allah dan berimanlah kepada Rasul-Nya, niscaya Allah memberikan rahmat-Nya kepadamu dua bagian, dan menjadikan untukmu cahaya yang dengan cahaya itu kamu dapat berjalan dan Dia mengampuni kamu. Dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Remain conscious of God, and believe in His Apostle, [and] He will grant you doubly of His grace, and will light for you a light wherein you shall walk, and will forgive you [your past sins]: for God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
لِّئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ اَهْلُ الْكِتٰبِ اَلَّا يَقْدِرُوْنَ عَلٰى شَيْءٍ مِّنْ فَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللّٰهِ يُؤْتِيْهِ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗوَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ ۔ ٢٩
ID Translation (Kami terangkan yang demikian itu) supaya ahli Kitab mengetahui bahwa mereka tiada mendapat sedikitpun akan karunia Allah (jika mereka tidak beriman kepada Muhammad), dan bahwasanya karunia itu adalah di tangan Allah. Dia berikan karunia itu kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya. Dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar.
EN Translation And the followers of earlier revelation should know that they have no power whatever over any of God’s bounty, seeing that all bounty is in God’s hand [alone]: He grants it unto whomever He wills - for God is limitless in His great bounty.
