Juz 19
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
۞ وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَرْجُوْنَ لِقَاۤءَنَا لَوْلَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ اَوْ نَرٰى رَبَّنَا ۗ لَقَدِ اسْتَكْبَرُوْا فِيْٓ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَعَتَوْ عُتُوًّا كَبِيْرًا ٢١
ID Translation Berkatalah orang-orang yang tidak menanti-nanti pertemuan(nya) dengan Kami: "Mengapakah tidak diturunkan kepada kita malaikat atau (mengapa) kita (tidak) melihat Tuhan kita?" Sesungguhnya mereka memandang besar tentang diri mereka dan mereka benar-benar telah melampaui batas(dalam melakukan) kezaliman".
EN Translation But those who do not believe that they are destined to meet Us are wont to say, “Why have no angels been sent down to us?” – or, “Why do we not see our Sustainer?” Indeed, they are far too proud of themselves, having rebelled [against God’s truth] with utter disdain!
يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةَ لَا بُشْرٰى يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُجْرِمِيْنَ وَيَقُوْلُوْنَ حِجْرًا مَّحْجُوْرًا ٢٢
ID Translation Pada hari mereka melihat malaikat dihari itu tidak ada kabar gembira bagi orang-orang yang berdosa mereka berkata: "Hijraan mahjuuraa.
EN Translation [Yet] on that Day - the Day on which they shall see the angels there will be no glad tiding for those who were lost in sin; and they will exclaim, “By a forbidding ban [are we from God’s grace debarred]!” –
وَقَدِمْنَآ اِلٰى مَا عَمِلُوْا مِنْ عَمَلٍ فَجَعَلْنٰهُ هَبَاۤءً مَّنْثُوْرًا ٢٣
ID Translation Dan kami hadapi segala amal yang mereka kerjakan, lalu kami jadikan amal itu (bagaikan) debu yang berterbangan.
EN Translation for We shall have turned towards all the [supposedly good] deeds they ever wrought, and shall have transformed them into scattered dust –
اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ خَيْرٌ مُّسْتَقَرًّا وَّاَحْسَنُ مَقِيْلًا ٢٤
ID Translation Penghuni-penghuni surga pada hari itu palig baik tempat tinggalnya dan paling indah tempat istirahatnya.
EN Translation [whereas] on that same Day those who are destined for paradise will be graced with the best of abodes and the fairest place of repose.
وَيَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ السَّمَاۤءُ بِالْغَمَامِ وَنُزِّلَ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ تَنْزِيْلًا ٢٥
ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) hari (ketika) langit pecah belah mengeluarkan kabut putih dan diturunkanlah malaikat bergelombang-gelombang.
EN Translation And on the Day on which the skies, together with the clouds, shall burst asunder, and the angels are made to descend in a mighty descent –
اَلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَىِٕذِ ِۨالْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمٰنِۗ وَكَانَ يَوْمًا عَلَى الْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَسِيْرًا ٢٦
ID Translation Kerajaan yang hak pada hari itu adalah kepunyaan Tuhan Yang Maha Pemurah. Dan adalah (hari itu), satu hari penuh kesukaran bagi orang-orang kafir.
EN Translation on that Day [it will become obvious to all that] true sovereignty belongs to the Most Gracious [alone]: hence, a Day of distress will it be for all who deny the truth,
وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ الظَّالِمُ عَلٰى يَدَيْهِ يَقُوْلُ يٰلَيْتَنِى اتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ الرَّسُوْلِ سَبِيْلًا ٢٧
ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) hari (ketika itu) orang yang zalim menggigit dua tangannya, seraya berkata: "Aduhai kiranya (dulu) aku mengambil jalan bersama-sama Rasul".
EN Translation and a Day on which the evildoer will bite his hands [in despair], exclaiming: “Oh, would that I had followed the path shown to me by the apostle!
يٰوَيْلَتٰى لَيْتَنِيْ لَمْ اَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيْلًا ٢٨
ID Translation Kecelakaan besarlah bagiku; kiranya aku (dulu) tidak menjadikan sifulan itu teman akrab(ku).
EN Translation Oh, woe is me! Would that I had not taken so-and-so for a friend!
لَقَدْ اَضَلَّنِيْ عَنِ الذِّكْرِ بَعْدَ اِذْ جَاۤءَنِيْۗ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطٰنُ لِلْاِنْسَانِ خَذُوْلًا ٢٩
ID Translation Sesungguhnya dia telah menyesatkan aku dari Al Quran ketika Al Quran itu telah datang kepadaku. Dan adalah syaitan itu tidak mau menolong manusia.
EN Translation Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!” For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man.
وَقَالَ الرَّسُوْلُ يٰرَبِّ اِنَّ قَوْمِى اتَّخَذُوْا هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ مَهْجُوْرًا ٣٠
ID Translation Berkatalah Rasul: "Ya Tuhanku, sesungguhnya kaumku menjadikan Al Quran itu sesuatu yang tidak diacuhkan".
EN Translation AND [on that Day] the Apostle will say: “O my Sustainer! Behold, [some of] my people have come to regard this Qur’an as something [that ought to be] discarded!”
وَكَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَۗ وَكَفٰى بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَّنَصِيْرًا ٣١
ID Translation Dan seperti itulah, telah Kami adakan bagi tiap-tiap nabi, musuh dari orang-orang yang berdosa. Dan cukuplah Tuhanmu menjadi Pemberi petunjuk dan Penolong.
EN Translation For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does!
وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْاٰنُ جُمْلَةً وَّاحِدَةً ۛ كَذٰلِكَ ۛ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهٖ فُؤَادَكَ وَرَتَّلْنٰهُ تَرْتِيْلًا ٣٢
ID Translation Berkatalah orang-orang yang kafir: "Mengapa Al Quran itu tidak diturunkan kepadanya sekali turun saja?"; demikianlah supaya Kami perkuat hatimu dengannya dan Kami membacanya secara tartil (teratur dan benar).
EN Translation Now they who are bent on denying the truth are wont to ask. “Why has not the Qur’an been bestowed on him from on high in one single revelation?” [it has been revealed] in this manner so that We might strengthen thy heart thereby - for We have so arranged its component parts that they form one consistent whole -
وَلَا يَأْتُوْنَكَ بِمَثَلٍ اِلَّا جِئْنٰكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَاَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيْرًا ۗ ٣٣
ID Translation Tidaklah orang-orang kafir itu datang kepadamu (membawa) sesuatu yang ganjil, melainkan Kami datangkan kepadamu suatu yang benar dan yang paling baik penjelasannya.
EN Translation and [that] they [who deny the truth] might never taunt thee with any deceptive half-truth without Our conveying to thee the [full] truth and [providing thee] with the best explanation.
اَلَّذِيْنَ يُحْشَرُوْنَ عَلٰى وُجُوْهِهِمْ اِلٰى جَهَنَّمَۙ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا وَّاَضَلُّ سَبِيْلًا ٣٤
ID Translation Orang-orang yang dihimpunkan ke neraka Jahannam dengan diseret atas muka-muka mereka, mereka itulah orang yang paling buruk tempatnya dan paling sesat jalannya.
EN Translation [And so, tell those who are bent on denying the truth that] they who shall be gathered unto hell upon their faces – it is they who [in the life to come] will be worst in station and still farther astray from the path [of truth]!
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوْسَى الْكِتٰبَ وَجَعَلْنَا مَعَهٗٓ اَخَاهُ هٰرُوْنَ وَزِيْرًا ۚ ٣٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya kami telah memberikan Al Kitab (Taurat) kepada Musa dan Kami telah menjadikan Harun saudaranya, menyertai dia sebagai wazir (pembantu).
EN Translation AND, INDEED, [long before Muhammad] We vouchsafed revelation unto Moses, and appointed his brother Aaron to help him to bear his burden;
فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَآ اِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۗ فَدَمَّرْنٰهُمْ تَدْمِيْرًا ۗ ٣٦
ID Translation Kemudian Kami berfirman kepada keduanya: "Pergilah kamu berdua kepada kaum yang mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami". Maka Kami membinasakan mereka sehancur-hancurnya.
EN Translation and We said, “Go you both unto the people who have given the lie to Our messages!” - and thereupon We broke those [sinners] to smithereens.
وَقَوْمَ نُوْحٍ لَّمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ اَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ وَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ اٰيَةًۗ وَاَعْتَدْنَا لِلظّٰلِمِيْنَ عَذَابًا اَلِيْمًا ۚ ٣٧
ID Translation Dan (telah Kami binasakan) kaum Nuh tatkala mereka mendustakan rasul-rasul. Kami tenggelamkan mereka dan kami jadikan (cerita) mereka itu pelajaran bagi manusia. Dan Kami telah menyediakan bagi orang-orang zalim azab yang pedih;
EN Translation And [think of] the people of Noah: when they gave the lie to [one of] the apostles, We caused them to drown, and made them a symbol for all mankind: for, grievous suffering have We readied for all who [knowingly] do wrong!
وَعَادًا وَّثَمُوْدَا۟ وَاَصْحٰبَ الرَّسِّ وَقُرُوْنًاۢ بَيْنَ ذٰلِكَ كَثِيْرًا ٣٨
ID Translation dan (Kami binasakan) kaum 'Aad dan Tsamud dan penduduk Rass dan banyak (lagi) generasi-generasi di antara kaum-kaum tersebut.
EN Translation And [remember how We punished the tribes of] Ad and Thamud and the people of Ar-Rass, and many generations [of sinners] in-between:
وَكُلًّا ضَرَبْنَا لَهُ الْاَمْثَالَۖ وَكُلًّا تَبَّرْنَا تَتْبِيْرًا ٣٩
ID Translation Dan Kami jadikan bagi masing-masing mereka perumpamaan dan masing-masing mereka itu benar benar telah Kami binasakan dengan sehancur-hancurnya.
EN Translation and unto each of them did We proffer lessons and each of them did We destroy with utter destruction.
وَلَقَدْ اَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِيْٓ اُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِۗ اَفَلَمْ يَكُوْنُوْا يَرَوْنَهَاۚ بَلْ كَانُوْا لَا يَرْجُوْنَ نُشُوْرًا ٤٠
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya mereka (kaum musyrik Mekah) telah melalui sebuah negeri (Sadum) yang (dulu) dihujani dengan hujan yang sejelek-jeleknya (hujan batu). Maka apakah mereka tidak menyaksikan runtuhan itu; bahkan adalah mereka itu tidak mengharapkan akan kebangkitan.
EN Translation And they [who now deny Our messages] must surely have come across that town which was rained upon by a rain of evil: have they, then, never beheld it [with their minds eye]? But nay, they would not believe in resurrection!
وَاِذَا رَاَوْكَ اِنْ يَّتَّخِذُوْنَكَ اِلَّا هُزُوًاۗ اَهٰذَا الَّذِيْ بَعَثَ اللّٰهُ رَسُوْلًا ٤١
ID Translation Dan apabila mereka melihat kamu (Muhammad), mereka hanyalah menjadikan kamu sebagai ejekan (dengan mengatakan): "Inikah orangnya yang di utus Allah sebagai Rasul?.
EN Translation Hence, whenever they consider thee, [O Muhammad,] they but make thee a target of their mockery, [saying:] “Is this the one whom God has sent as an apostle?
اِنْ كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ اٰلِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ اَنْ صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَاۗ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُوْنَ حِيْنَ يَرَوْنَ الْعَذَابَ مَنْ اَضَلُّ سَبِيْلًا ٤٢
ID Translation Sesungguhnya hampirlah ia menyesatkan kita dari sembahan-sembahan kita, seandainya kita tidak sabar(menyembah)nya" dan mereka kelak akan mengetahui di saat mereka melihat azab, siapa yang paling sesat jalannya.
EN Translation Indeed, he would well-nigh have led us astray from our deities, had we not been [so] steadfastly attached to them!” But in time, when they see the suffering [that awaits them], they will come to know who it was that went farthest astray from the path [of truth]!
اَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰهَهٗ هَوٰىهُۗ اَفَاَنْتَ تَكُوْنُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيْلًا ۙ ٤٣
ID Translation Terangkanlah kepadaku tentang orang yang menjadikan hawa nafsunya sebagai tuhannya. Maka apakah kamu dapat menjadi pemelihara atasnya?,
EN Translation Hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who makes his own desires his deity? Couldst thou, then, [O Prophet,] be held responsible for him?
اَمْ تَحْسَبُ اَنَّ اَكْثَرَهُمْ يَسْمَعُوْنَ اَوْ يَعْقِلُوْنَۗ اِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا كَالْاَنْعَامِ بَلْ هُمْ اَضَلُّ سَبِيْلًا ٤٤
ID Translation atau apakah kamu mengira bahwa kebanyakan mereka itu mendengar atau memahami. Mereka itu tidak lain, hanyalah seperti binatang ternak, bahkan mereka lebih sesat jalannya (dari binatang ternak itu).
EN Translation Or dost thou think that most of them listen [to thy message] and use their reason? Nay, they are but like cattle - nay, they are even less conscious of the right way!
اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّۚ وَلَوْ شَاۤءَ لَجَعَلَهٗ سَاكِنًاۚ ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيْلًا ۙ ٤٥
ID Translation Apakah kamu tidak memperhatikan (penciptaan) Tuhanmu, bagaimana Dia memanjangkan (dan memendekkan) bayang-bayang dan kalau Dia menghendaki niscaya Dia menjadikan tetap bayang-bayang itu, kemudian Kami jadikan matahari sebagai petunjuk atas bayang-bayang itu,
EN Translation Art thou not aware of thy Sustainer [through His works]? - how He causes the shadow to lengthen [towards the night] when, had He so willed, He could indeed have made it stand still: but then, We have made the sun its guide;
ثُمَّ قَبَضْنٰهُ اِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَّسِيْرًا ٤٦
ID Translation kemudian Kami menarik bayang-bayang itu kepada kami dengan tarikan yang perlahan-lahan.
EN Translation and then, [after having caused it to lengthen,] We draw it in towards Ourselves with a gradual drawing-in.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَّالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَّجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُوْرًا ٤٧
ID Translation Dialah yang menjadikan untukmu malam (sebagai) pakaian, dan tidur untuk istirahat, dan Dia menjadikan siang untuk bangun berusaha.
EN Translation And He it is who makes the night a garment for you, and [your] sleep a rest, and causes every [new] day to be a resurrection.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَرْسَلَ الرِّيٰحَ بُشْرًاۢ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهٖۚ وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءً طَهُوْرًا ۙ ٤٨
ID Translation Dialah yang meniupkan angin (sebagai) pembawa kabar gembira dekat sebelum kedatangan rahmat-nya (hujan); dan Kami turunkan dari langit air yang amat bersih,
EN Translation And He it is who sends forth the winds as a glad tiding of His coming grace; and [thus, too,] We cause pure water to descend from the skies,
لِّنُحْيِ َۧ بِهٖ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَّنُسْقِيَهٗ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَآ اَنْعَامًا وَّاَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيْرًا ٤٩
ID Translation agar Kami menghidupkan dengan air itu negeri (tanah) yang mati, dan agar Kami memberi minum dengan air itu sebagian besar dari makhluk Kami, binatang-binatang ternak dan manusia yang banyak.
EN Translation so that We may bring dead land to life thereby, and give to drink thereof to many [beings] of Our creation, beasts as well as humans.
وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنٰهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوْاۖ فَاَبٰىٓ اَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ اِلَّا كُفُوْرًا ٥٠
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mempergilirkan hujan itu diantara manusia supaya mereka mengambil pelajaran (dari padanya); maka kebanyakan manusia itu tidak mau kecuali mengingkari (nikmat).
EN Translation And, indeed, many times have We repeated [all] this unto men, so that they might take it to heart: but most men refuse to be aught but ingrate.
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِيْ كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيْرًا ۖ ٥١
ID Translation Dan andaikata Kami menghendaki benar-benarlah Kami utus pada tiap-tiap negeri seorang yang memberi peringatan (rasul).
EN Translation Now had We so willed. We could have [continued as before and] raised up a [separate] warner in every single community:
فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ وَجَاهِدْهُمْ بِهٖ جِهَادًا كَبِيْرًا ٥٢
ID Translation Maka janganlah kamu mengikuti orang-orang kafir, dan berjihadlah terhadap mereka dengan Al Quran dengan jihad yang besar.
EN Translation hence, do not defer to [the likes and dislikes of] those who deny the truth, but strive hard against them, by means of this [divine writ], with utmost striving.
۞ وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَّهٰذَا مِلْحٌ اُجَاجٌۚ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَّحِجْرًا مَّحْجُوْرًا ٥٣
ID Translation Dan Dialah yang membiarkan dua laut yang mengalir (berdampingan); yang ini tawar lagi segar dan yang lain asin lagi pahit; dan Dia jadikan antara keduanya dinding dan batas yang menghalangi.
EN Translation AND HE it is who has given freedom of movement to the two great bodies of water – the one sweet and thirst-allaying, and the other salty and bitter - and yet has wrought between them a barrier and a forbidding ban.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاۤءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهٗ نَسَبًا وَّصِهْرًاۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيْرًا ٥٤
ID Translation Dan Dia (pula) yang menciptakan manusia dari air lalu dia jadikan manusia itu (punya) keturunan dan mushaharah dan adalah Tuhanmu Maha Kuasa.
EN Translation And He it is who out of this [very] water has created man, and has endowed him with [the consciousness of] descent and marriage-tie: for thy Sustainer is ever infinite in His power.
وَيَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْۗ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلٰى رَبِّهٖ ظَهِيْرًا ٥٥
ID Translation Dan mereka menyembah selain Allah apa yang tidak memberi manfaat kepada mereka dan tidak (pula) memberi mudharat kepada mereka. Adalah orang-orang kafir itu penolong (syaitan untuk berbuat durhaka) terhadap Tuhannya.
EN Translation And yet, some people worship, instead of God, things that can neither benefit them nor harm them: thus, he who denies the truth does indeed turn his back on his Sustainer!
وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَّنَذِيْرًا ٥٦
ID Translation Dan tidaklah Kami mengutus kamu melainkan hanya sebagai pembawa kabar gembira dan pemberi peringatan.
EN Translation Yet [withal, O Prophet,] We have sent thee only as a herald of glad tidings and a warner.
قُلْ مَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ اِلَّا مَنْ شَاۤءَ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ سَبِيْلًا ٥٧
ID Translation Katakanlah: "Aku tidak meminta upah sedikitpun kepada kamu dalam menyampaikan risalah itu, melainkan (mengharapkan kepatuhan) orang-orang yang mau mengambil jalan kepada Tuhan nya.
EN Translation Say: “For this, no reward do I ask of you [- no reward] other than that he who so wills may unto his Sustainer find a way!”
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِيْ لَا يَمُوْتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهٖۗ وَكَفٰى بِهٖ بِذُنُوْبِ عِبَادِهٖ خَبِيْرًا ۚ ٥٨
ID Translation Dan bertawakkallah kepada Allah yang hidup (kekal) Yang tidak mati, dan bertasbihlah dengan memuji-Nya. Dan cukuplah Dia Maha Mengetahui dosa-dosa hamba-hamba-Nya.
EN Translation Hence, place thy trust in the Living One who dies not, and extol His limitless glory and praise: for none is as aware as His creatures’ sins as He –
اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِۚ اَلرَّحْمٰنُ فَسْـَٔلْ بِهٖ خَبِيْرًا ٥٩
ID Translation Yang menciptakan langit dan bumi dan apa yang ada antara keduanya dalam enam masa, kemudian dia bersemayam di atas 'Arsy, (Dialah) Yang Maha Pemurah, maka tanyakanlah (tentang Allah) kepada yang lebih mengetahui (Muhammad) tentang Dia.
EN Translation He who has created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness: the Most Gracious! Ask, then, about Him, [the] One who is [truly] aware.
وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوْا لِلرَّحْمٰنِ قَالُوْا وَمَا الرَّحْمٰنُ اَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُوْرًا ۩ ٦٠
ID Translation Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Sujudlah kamu sekalian kepada yang Maha Penyayang", mereka menjawab: "Siapakah yang Maha Penyayang itu? Apakah kami akan sujud kepada Tuhan Yang kamu perintahkan kami(bersujud kepada-Nya)?", dan (perintah sujud itu) menambah mereka jauh (dari iman).
EN Translation Yet when they [who are bent on denying the truth! are told, “Prostrate yourselves before the Most Gracious.” they are wont to ask, “And [who and] what is the Most Gracious? Are we to prostrate ourselves before whatever thou biddest us [to worship]?” - and so [thy call] but increases their aversion,
تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ فِى السَّمَاۤءِ بُرُوْجًا وَّجَعَلَ فِيْهَا سِرَاجًا وَّقَمَرًا مُّنِيْرًا ٦١
ID Translation Maha Suci Allah yang menjadikan di langit gugusan-gugusan bintang dan Dia menjadikan juga padanya matahari dan bulan yang bercahaya.
EN Translation HALLOWED is He who has set up in the skies great constellations, and has placed among them a [radiant] lamp and a light-giving moon.
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِّمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يَّذَّكَّرَ اَوْ اَرَادَ شُكُوْرًا ٦٢
ID Translation Dan Dia (pula) yang menjadikan malam dan siang silih berganti bagi orang yang ingin mengambil pelajaran atau orang yang ingin bersyukur.
EN Translation And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful.
وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمٰنِ الَّذِيْنَ يَمْشُوْنَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَّاِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجٰهِلُوْنَ قَالُوْا سَلٰمًا ٦٣
ID Translation Dan hamba-hamba Tuhan yang Maha Penyayang itu (ialah) orang-orang yang berjalan di atas bumi dengan rendah hati dan apabila orang-orang jahil menyapa mereka, mereka mengucapkan kata-kata (yang mengandung) keselamatan.
EN Translation For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace;
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَبِيْتُوْنَ لِرَبِّهِمْ سُجَّدًا وَّقِيَامًا ٦٤
ID Translation Dan orang yang melalui malam hari dengan bersujud dan berdiri untuk Tuhan mereka.
EN Translation and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing;
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَا اصْرِفْ عَنَّا عَذَابَ جَهَنَّمَۖ اِنَّ عَذَابَهَا كَانَ غَرَامًا ۖ ٦٥
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang berkata: "Ya Tuhan kami, jauhkan azab jahannam dari kami, sesungguhnya azabnya itu adalah kebinasaan yang kekal".
EN Translation and who pray: “O our Sustainer, avert from us the suffering of hell - for, verily, the suffering caused by it is bound to be a torment dire:
اِنَّهَا سَاۤءَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَّمُقَامًا ٦٦
ID Translation Sesungguhnya jahannam itu seburuk-buruk tempat menetap dan tempat kediaman.
EN Translation verily, how evil an abode and a station!” -;
وَالَّذِيْنَ اِذَآ اَنْفَقُوْا لَمْ يُسْرِفُوْا وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُوْا وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذٰلِكَ قَوَامًا ٦٧
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang apabila membelanjakan (harta), mereka tidak berlebihan, dan tidak (pula) kikir, dan adalah (pembelanjaan itu) di tengah-tengah antara yang demikian.
EN Translation and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes];
وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا يَدْعُوْنَ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ وَلَا يَقْتُلُوْنَ النَّفْسَ الَّتِيْ حَرَّمَ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا يَزْنُوْنَۚ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ يَلْقَ اَثَامًا ۙ ٦٨
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang tidak menyembah tuhan yang lain beserta Allah dan tidak membunuh jiwa yang diharamkan Allah (membunuhnya) kecuali dengan (alasan) yang benar, dan tidak berzina, barang siapa yang melakukan yang demikian itu, niscaya dia mendapat (pembalasan) dosa(nya),
EN Translation and who never invoke any [imaginary] deity side by side with God, and do not take any human beings life - [the life] which God has willed to be sacred - otherwise than in [the pursuit of] justice, and do not commit adultery. And [know that] he who commits aught thereof shall [not only] meet with a full requital
يُّضٰعَفْ لَهُ الْعَذَابُ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَيَخْلُدْ فِيْهٖ مُهَانًا ۙ ٦٩
ID Translation (yakni) akan dilipat gandakan azab untuknya pada hari kiamat dan dia akan kekal dalam azab itu, dalam keadaan terhina,
EN Translation [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy.
اِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَاٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُبَدِّلُ اللّٰهُ سَيِّاٰتِهِمْ حَسَنٰتٍۗ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوْرًا رَّحِيْمًا ٧٠
ID Translation kecuali orang-orang yang bertaubat, beriman dan mengerjakan amal saleh; maka itu kejahatan mereka diganti Allah dengan kebajikan. Dan adalah Allah maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace,
وَمَنْ تَابَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَاِنَّهٗ يَتُوْبُ اِلَى اللّٰهِ مَتَابًا ٧١
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang bertaubat dan mengerjakan amal saleh, maka sesungguhnya dia bertaubat kepada Allah dengan taubat yang sebenar-benarnya.
EN Translation and seeing that he who repents and [thenceforth] does what is right has truly turned unto God by [this very act of] repentance.
وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا يَشْهَدُوْنَ الزُّوْرَۙ وَاِذَا مَرُّوْا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوْا كِرَامًا ٧٢
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang tidak memberikan persaksian palsu, dan apabila mereka bertemu dengan (orang-orang) yang mengerjakan perbuatan-perbuatan yang tidak berfaedah, mereka lalui (saja) dengan menjaga kehormatan dirinya.
EN Translation And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who], whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity;
وَالَّذِيْنَ اِذَا ذُكِّرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ لَمْ يَخِرُّوْا عَلَيْهَا صُمًّا وَّعُمْيَانًا ٧٣
ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang apabila diberi peringatan dengan ayat-ayat Tuhan mereka, mereka tidaklah menghadapinya sebagai orang-orang yang tuli dan buta.
EN Translation and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer’s messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind;
وَالَّذِيْنَ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ اَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ اَعْيُنٍ وَّاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ اِمَامًا ٧٤
ID Translation Dan orang orang yang berkata: "Ya Tuhan kami, anugrahkanlah kepada kami isteri-isteri kami dan keturunan kami sebagai penyenang hati (kami), dan jadikanlah kami imam bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa.
EN Translation and who pray “O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!”
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوْا وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيْهَا تَحِيَّةً وَّسَلٰمًا ۙ ٧٥
ID Translation Mereka itulah orang yang dibalasi dengan martabat yang tinggi (dalam surga) karena kesabaran mereka dan mereka disambut dengan penghormatan dan ucapan selamat di dalamnya,
EN Translation [Such as] these will be rewarded for all their patient endurance [in life] with a high station [in paradise], and will be met therein with a greeting of welcome and peace,
خٰلِدِيْنَ فِيْهَاۗ حَسُنَتْ مُسْتَقَرًّا وَّمُقَامًا ٧٦
ID Translation mereka kekal di dalamnya. Surga itu sebaik-baik tempat menetap dan tempat kediaman.
EN Translation therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station!
قُلْ مَا يَعْبَؤُا بِكُمْ رَبِّيْ لَوْلَا دُعَاۤؤُكُمْۚ فَقَدْ كَذَّبْتُمْ فَسَوْفَ يَكُوْنُ لِزَامًا ٧٧
ID Translation Katakanlah (kepada orang-orang musyrik): "Tuhanku tidak mengindahkan kamu, melainkan kalau ada ibadatmu. (Tetapi bagaimana kamu beribadat kepada-Nya), padahal kamu sungguh telah mendustakan-Nya? karena itu kelak (azab) pasti (menimpamu)".
EN Translation SAY [unto those who believe]: “No weight or value would my Sustainer attach to you were it not for your faith [in Him]!” And say unto those who deny the truth:] “You have indeed given the lie [to God’s message], and in time this [sin] will cleave unto you!”
طٰسۤمّۤ ١
ID Translation Thaa Siim Miim
EN Translation Ta. Sin, Mim.
تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ الْكِتٰبِ الْمُبِيْنِ ٢
ID Translation Inilah ayat-ayat Al Quran yang menerangkan.
EN Translation THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth!
لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ اَلَّا يَكُوْنُوْا مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٣
ID Translation Boleh jadi kamu (Muhammad) akan membinasakan dirimu, karena mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]?
اِنْ نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ اٰيَةً فَظَلَّتْ اَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِيْنَ ٤
ID Translation Jika kami kehendaki niscaya Kami menurunkan kepada mereka mukjizat dari langit, maka senantiasa kuduk-kuduk mereka tunduk kepadanya.
EN Translation Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility.
وَمَا يَأْتِيْهِمْ مِّنْ ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ اِلَّا كَانُوْا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِيْنَ ٥
ID Translation Dan sekali-kali tidak datang kepada mereka suatu peringatan baru dari Tuhan Yang Maha Pemurah, melainkan mereka selalu berpaling daripadanya.
EN Translation [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it:
فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوْا فَسَيَأْتِيْهِمْ اَنْۢبـٰۤؤُا مَا كَانُوْا بِهٖ يَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ٦
ID Translation Sungguh mereka telah mendustakan (Al Quran), maka kelak akan datang kepada mereka (kenyataan dari) berita-berita yang selalu mereka perolok-olokkan.
EN Translation thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride!
اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اِلَى الْاَرْضِ كَمْ اَنْۢبَتْنَا فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيْمٍ ٧
ID Translation Dan apakah mereka tidak memperhatikan bumi, berapakah banyaknya Kami tumbuhkan di bumi itu pelbagai macam tumbuh-tumbuhan yang baik?
EN Translation Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon?
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةًۗ وَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat suatu tanda kekuasaan Allah. Dan kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In this, behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ٩
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
وَاِذْ نَادٰى رَبُّكَ مُوْسٰٓى اَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۙ ١٠
ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Tuhanmu menyeru Musa (dengan firman-Nya): "Datangilah kaum yang zalim itu,
EN Translation HENCE, [remember how it was] when thy Sustainer summoned Moses: “Go unto those evil doing people.
قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۗ اَلَا يَتَّقُوْنَ ١١
ID Translation (yaitu) kaum Fir'aun. Mengapa mereka tidak bertakwa?"
EN Translation the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!”
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّيْٓ اَخَافُ اَنْ يُّكَذِّبُوْنِ ۗ ١٢
ID Translation Berkata Musa: "Ya Tuhanku, sesungguhnya aku takut bahwa mereka akan mendustakan aku.
EN Translation He answered: “O my Sustainer! Behold, I fear that they will give me the lie,
وَيَضِيْقُ صَدْرِيْ وَلَا يَنْطَلِقُ لِسَانِيْ فَاَرْسِلْ اِلٰى هٰرُوْنَ ١٣
ID Translation Dan (karenanya) sempitlah dadaku dan tidak lancar lidahku maka utuslah (Jibril) kepada Harun.
EN Translation and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron.
وَلَهُمْ عَلَيَّ ذَنْۢبٌ فَاَخَافُ اَنْ يَّقْتُلُوْنِ ۚ ١٤
ID Translation Dan aku berdosa terhadap mereka, maka aku takut mereka akan membunuhku".
EN Translation Moreover, they keep a grave charge [pending] against me, and I fear that they will slay me.”
قَالَ كَلَّاۚ فَاذْهَبَا بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُّسْتَمِعُوْنَ ۙ ١٥
ID Translation Allah berfirman: "Jangan takut (mereka tidak akan dapat membunuhmu), maka pergilah kamu berdua dengan membawa ayat-ayat Kami (mukjizat-mukjizat); sesungguhnya Kami bersamamu mendengarkan (apa-apa yang mereka katakan),
EN Translation Said He: “Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verify, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]!
فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُوْلَآ اِنَّا رَسُوْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۙ ١٦
ID Translation Maka datanglah kamu berdua kepada Fir'aun dan katakanlah olehmu: "Sesungguhnya Kami adalah Rasul Tuhan semesta alam,
EN Translation And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, ‘Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds:
اَنْ اَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ۗ ١٧
ID Translation lepaskanlah Bani Israil (pergi) beserta kami".
EN Translation Let the children of Israel go with us!’”
قَالَ اَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِيْنَا وَلِيْدًا وَّلَبِثْتَ فِيْنَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِيْنَ ۗ ١٨
ID Translation Fir'aun menjawab: "Bukankah kami telah mengasuhmu di antara (keluarga) kami, waktu kamu masih kanak-kanak dan kamu tinggal bersama kami beberapa tahun dari umurmu.
EN Translation [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: “Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life?
وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِيْ فَعَلْتَ وَاَنْتَ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ١٩
ID Translation dan kamu telah berbuat suatu perbuatan yang telah kamu lakukan itu dan kamu termasuk golongan orang-orang yang tidak membalas guna.
EN Translation And yet thou didst commit that [heinous] deed of thine, and [hast thus shown that] thou art one of the ingrate!”
قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَآ اِذًا وَّاَنَا۠ مِنَ الضَّاۤلِّيْنَ ٢٠
ID Translation Berkata Musa: "Aku telah melakukannya, sedang aku di waktu itu termasuk orang-orang yang khilaf.
EN Translation Replied [Moses]: “I committed it while I was still going astray;
فَفَرَرْتُ مِنْكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِيْ رَبِّيْ حُكْمًا وَّجَعَلَنِيْ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ٢١
ID Translation Lalu aku lari meninggalkan kamu ketika aku takut kepadamu, kemudian Tuhanku memberikan kepadaku ilmu serta Dia menjadikanku salah seorang di antara rasul-rasul.
EN Translation and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong], and has made me one of [His] message-bearers.
وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ اَنْ عَبَّدْتَّ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ۗ ٢٢
ID Translation Budi yang kamu limpahkan kepadaku itu adalah (disebabkan) kamu telah memperbudak Bani Israil".
EN Translation And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?”
قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ٢٣
ID Translation Fir'aun bertanya: "Siapa Tuhan semesta alam itu?"
EN Translation Said Pharaoh: “And what [and who] is that ‘Sustainer of all the worlds’?”
قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَاۗ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّوْقِنِيْنَ ٢٤
ID Translation Musa menjawab: "Tuhan Pencipta langit dan bumi dan apa-apa yang di antara keduanya (Itulah Tuhanmu), jika kamu sekalian (orang-orang) mempercayai-Nya".
EN Translation [Moses] answered: “[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!”
قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهٗٓ اَلَا تَسْتَمِعُوْنَ ٢٥
ID Translation Berkata Fir'aun kepada orang-orang sekelilingnya: "Apakah kamu tidak mendengarkan?"
EN Translation Said [Pharaoh] unto those around him: “Did you hear [what he said]?”
قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ اٰبَاۤىِٕكُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ٢٦
ID Translation Musa berkata (pula): "Tuhan kamu dan Tuhan nenek-nenek moyang kamu yang dahulu".
EN Translation [And Moses] continued: “[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!”
قَالَ اِنَّ رَسُوْلَكُمُ الَّذِيْٓ اُرْسِلَ اِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُوْنٌ ٢٧
ID Translation Fir'aun berkata: "Sesungguhnya Rasulmu yang diutus kepada kamu sekalian benar-benar orang gila".
EN Translation [Pharaoh] exclaimed: “Behold, [this] your ‘apostle’ who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed!
قَالَ رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَاۗ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ ٢٨
ID Translation Musa berkata: "Tuhan yang menguasai timur dan barat dan apa yang ada di antara keduanya: (Itulah Tuhanmu) jika kamu mempergunakan akal".
EN Translation [But Moses] went on: “[He of whom I speak is] the Sustainer of the east and the west and of all that is between the two”- as you would know] if you would but use your reason!”
قَالَ لَىِٕنِ اتَّخَذْتَ اِلٰهًا غَيْرِيْ لَاَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُوْنِيْنَ ٢٩
ID Translation Fir'aun berkata: "Sungguh jika kamu menyembah Tuhan selain aku, benar-benar aku akan menjadikan kamu salah seorang yang dipenjarakan".
EN Translation Said [Pharaoh]: “Indeed, if thou choose to worship any deity other than me, I shall most certainly throw thee into prison!
قَالَ اَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَيْءٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٣٠
ID Translation Musa berkata: "Dan apakah (kamu akan melakukan itu) kendatipun aku tunjukkan kepadamu sesuatu (keterangan) yang nyata?"
EN Translation Said he: “Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?”
قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهٖٓ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ٣١
ID Translation Fir'aun berkata: "Datangkanlah sesuatu (keterangan) yang nyata itu, jika kamu adalah termasuk orang-orang yang benar".
EN Translation [Pharaoh] answered: “Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!”
فَاَلْقٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ۚ ٣٢
ID Translation Maka Musa melemparkan tongkatnya, lalu tiba-tiba tongkat itu (menjadi) ular yang nyata.
EN Translation Thereupon [Moses] threw down his staff - and lo! it was a serpent, plainly visible;
وَنَزَعَ يَدَهٗ فَاِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاۤءُ لِلنّٰظِرِيْنَ ٣٣
ID Translation Dan ia menarik tangannya (dari dalam bajunya), maka tiba-tiba tangan itu jadi putih (bersinar) bagi orang-orang yang melihatnya.
EN Translation and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders.
قَالَ لِلْمَلَاِ حَوْلَهٗٓ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ عَلِيْمٌ ۙ ٣٤
ID Translation Fir'aun berkata kepada pembesar-pembesar yang berada sekelilingnya: Sesungguhnya Musa ini benar-benar seorang ahli sihir yang pandai,
EN Translation Said [pharaoh] unto the great ones around him: “Verily, this is indeed a sorcerer of great knowledge
يُّرِيْدُ اَنْ يُّخْرِجَكُمْ مِّنْ اَرْضِكُمْ بِسِحْرِهٖۖ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُوْنَ ٣٥
ID Translation ia hendak mengusir kamu dari negerimu sendiri dengan sihirnya; maka karena itu apakah yang kamu anjurkan?"
EN Translation who wants to drive you out of your land by his sorcery. What, then, do you advise?”
قَالُوْٓا اَرْجِهْ وَاَخَاهُ وَابْعَثْ فِى الْمَدَاۤىِٕنِ حٰشِرِيْنَ ۙ ٣٦
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Tundalah (urusan) dia dan saudaranya dan kirimkanlah ke seluruh negeri orang-orang yang akan mengumpulkan (ahli sihir),
EN Translation They answered: “Let him and his brother wait a while, and send unto all cities heralds
يَأْتُوْكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيْمٍ ٣٧
ID Translation niscaya mereka akan mendatangkan semua ahli sihir yang pandai kepadamu".
EN Translation who shall assemble before thee all sorcerers of great knowledge”
فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِيْقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ ۙ ٣٨
ID Translation Lalu dikumpulkan ahli-ahli sihir pada waktu yang ditetapkan di hari yang maklum,
EN Translation And so the sorcerers were assembled at a set time on a certain day,
وَّقِيْلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّجْتَمِعُوْنَ ۙ ٣٩
ID Translation dan dikatakan kepada orang banyak: "Berkumpullah kamu sekalian.
EN Translation and the people were asked: Are you all present,
لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ اِنْ كَانُوْا هُمُ الْغٰلِبِيْنَ ٤٠
ID Translation semoga kita mengikuti ahli-ahli sihir jika mereka adalah orang-orang yang menang"
EN Translation so that we might follow [in the footsteps of] the sorcerers if it is they who prevail?”
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوْا لِفِرْعَوْنَ اَىِٕنَّ لَنَا لَاَجْرًا اِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغٰلِبِيْنَ ٤١
ID Translation Maka tatkala ahli-ahli sihir datang, merekapun bertanya kepada Fir'aun: "Apakah kami sungguh-sungguh mendapat upah yang besar jika kami adalah orang-orang yang menang?"
EN Translation Now when the sorcerers came, they said unto Pharaoh: “Verily, we ought to have a great reward if it is we who prevail.
قَالَ نَعَمْ وَاِنَّكُمْ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ ٤٢
ID Translation Fir'aun menjawab: "Ya, kalau demikian, sesungguhnya kamu sekalian benar-benar akan menjadi orang yang didekatkan (kepadaku)".
EN Translation Answered he: “Yea - and, verily, in that case you shall be among those who are near unto me.
قَالَ لَهُمْ مُّوْسٰٓى اَلْقُوْا مَآ اَنْتُمْ مُّلْقُوْنَ ٤٣
ID Translation Berkatalah Musa kepada mereka: "Lemparkanlah apa yang hendak kamu lemparkan".
EN Translation [And] Moses said unto them: “Throw whatever you are going to throw!”
فَاَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوْا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغٰلِبُوْنَ ٤٤
ID Translation Lalu mereka melemparkan tali temali dan tongkat-tongkat mereka dan berkata: "Demi kekuasaan Fir'aun, sesungguhnya kami benar-benar akan menang".
EN Translation Thereupon they threw their [magic ropes and their staffs, and said: “By Pharaoh’s might, behold, it is we indeed who have prevailed!”
فَاَلْقٰى مُوْسٰى عَصَاهُ فَاِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُوْنَ ۚ ٤٥
ID Translation Kemudian Musa menjatuhkan tongkatnya maka tiba-tiba ia menelan benda-benda palsu yang mereka ada-adakan itu.
EN Translation [But] then Moses threw his staff - and lo! it swallowed up all their deceptions.
فَاُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سٰجِدِيْنَ ۙ ٤٦
ID Translation Maka tersungkurlah ahli-ahli sihir sambil bersujud (kepada Allah),
EN Translation And down fell the sorcerers, prostrating themselves in adoration,
قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۙ ٤٧
ID Translation mereka berkata: "Kami beriman kepada Tuhan semesta alam,
EN Translation [and] exclaimed: “We have come to believe in the Sustainer of all the worlds,
رَبِّ مُوْسٰى وَهٰرُوْنَ ٤٨
ID Translation (yaitu) Tuhan Musa dan Harun".
EN Translation the Sustainer of Moses and Aaron!”
قَالَ اٰمَنْتُمْ لَهٗ قَبْلَ اَنْ اٰذَنَ لَكُمْۚ اِنَّهٗ لَكَبِيْرُكُمُ الَّذِيْ عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَۚ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ەۗ لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَيْدِيَكُمْ وَاَرْجُلَكُمْ مِّنْ خِلَافٍ وَّلَاُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَۚ ٤٩
ID Translation Fir'aun berkata: "Apakah kamu sekalian beriman kepada Musa sebelum aku memberi izin kepadamu? Sesungguhnya dia benar-benar pemimpinmu yang mengajarkan sihir kepadamu maka kamu nanti pasti benar-benar akan mengetahui (akibat perbuatanmu); sesungguhnya aku akan memotong tanganmu dan kakimu dengan bersilangan dan aku akan menyalibmu semuanya".
EN Translation Said [Pharaoh]: “Have you come to believe in him ere I have given you permission? Verily, he must be your master who has taught you magic! But in time you shall come to know [my revenge]: most certainly shall I cut off your hands and your feet in great numbers, because of [your] perverseness, and shall most certainly crucify you in great numbers, all together!”
قَالُوْا لَا ضَيْرَ ۖاِنَّآ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُوْنَ ۚ ٥٠
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Tidak ada kemudharatan (bagi kami); sesungguhnya kami akan kembali kepada Tuhan kami,
EN Translation They answered: “No harm [canst thou do to us]: verily, unto our Sustainer do we turn!
اِنَّا نَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰنَآ اَنْ كُنَّآ اَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ ٥١
ID Translation sesungguhnya kami amat menginginkan bahwa Tuhan kami akan mengampuni kesalahan kami, karena kami adalah orang-orang yang pertama-tama beriman".
EN Translation Behold, we [but] ardently desire that our Sustainer forgive us our faults in return for our having been foremost among the believers!”
۞ وَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى مُوْسٰٓى اَنْ اَسْرِ بِعِبَادِيْٓ اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَ ٥٢
ID Translation Dan Kami wahyukan (perintahkan) kepada Musa: "Pergilah di malam hari dengan membawa hamba-hamba-Ku (Bani Israil), karena sesungguhnya kamu sekalian akan disusuli".
EN Translation AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: “Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will he pursued!”
فَاَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى الْمَدَاۤىِٕنِ حٰشِرِيْنَ ۚ ٥٣
ID Translation Kemudian Fir'aun mengirimkan orang yang mengumpulkan (tentaranya) ke kota-kota.
EN Translation And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities,
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيْلُوْنَۙ ٥٤
ID Translation (Fir'aun berkata): "Sesungguhnya mereka (Bani Israil) benar-benar golongan kecil,
EN Translation [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] “Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band;
وَاِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَاۤىِٕظُوْنَ ۙ ٥٥
ID Translation dan sesungguhnya mereka membuat hal-hal yang menimbulkan amarah kita,
EN Translation but they are indeed filled with hatred of us
وَاِنَّا لَجَمِيْعٌ حٰذِرُوْنَ ۗ ٥٦
ID Translation dan sesungguhnya kita benar-benar golongan yang selalu berjaga-jaga".
EN Translation seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger –
فَاَخْرَجْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ ۙ ٥٧
ID Translation Maka Kami keluarkan Fir'aun dan kaumnya dari taman-taman dan mata air,
EN Translation and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs,
وَّكُنُوْزٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيْمٍ ۙ ٥٨
ID Translation dan (dari) perbendaharaan dan kedudukan yang mulia,
EN Translation and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!”
كَذٰلِكَۚ وَاَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ۗ ٥٩
ID Translation demikianlah halnya dan Kami anugerahkan semuanya (itu) kepada Bani Israil.
EN Translation Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel.
فَاَتْبَعُوْهُمْ مُّشْرِقِيْنَ ٦٠
ID Translation Maka Fir'aun dan bala tentaranya dapat menyusuli mereka di waktu matahari terbit.
EN Translation And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise;
فَلَمَّا تَرَاۤءَ الْجَمْعٰنِ قَالَ اَصْحٰبُ مُوْسٰٓى اِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُوْنَ ۚ ٦١
ID Translation Maka setelah kedua golongan itu saling melihat, berkatalah pengikut-pengikut Musa: "Sesungguhnya kita benar-benar akan tersusul".
EN Translation and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: “Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!”
قَالَ كَلَّاۗ اِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّيْ سَيَهْدِيْنِ ٦٢
ID Translation Musa menjawab: "Sekali-kali tidak akan tersusul; sesungguhnya Tuhanku besertaku, kelak Dia akan memberi petunjuk kepadaku".
EN Translation He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!”
فَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى مُوْسٰٓى اَنِ اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَۗ فَانْفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيْمِ ۚ ٦٣
ID Translation Lalu Kami wahyukan kepada Musa: "Pukullah lautan itu dengan tongkatmu". Maka terbelahlah lautan itu dan tiap-tiap belahan adalah seperti gunung yang besar.
EN Translation Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!”- whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast.
وَاَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْاٰخَرِيْنَ ۚ ٦٤
ID Translation Dan di sanalah Kami dekatkan golongan yang lain.
EN Translation And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place:
وَاَنْجَيْنَا مُوْسٰى وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗٓ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ۚ ٦٥
ID Translation Dan Kami selamatkan Musa dan orang-orang yang besertanya semuanya.
EN Translation and We saved Moses and all who were with him,
ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا الْاٰخَرِيْنَ ۗ ٦٦
ID Translation Dan Kami tenggelamkan golongan yang lain itu.
EN Translation and then We caused the others to drown.
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٦٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar merupakan suatu tanda yang besar (mukjizat) dan tetapi adalah kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ٦٨
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَاَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ ۘ ٦٩
ID Translation Dan bacakanlah kepada mereka kisah Ibrahim.
EN Translation And convey unto them the story of Abraham –
اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ ٧٠
ID Translation Ketika ia berkata kepada bapaknya dan kaumnya: "Apakah yang kamu sembah?"
EN Translation [how it was] when he asked his father and his people, “What is it that you worship?”
قَالُوْا نَعْبُدُ اَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عٰكِفِيْنَ ٧١
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Kami menyembah berhala-berhala dan kami senantiasa tekun menyembahnya".
EN Translation They answered: We worship idols, and we remain ever devoted to them.”
قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُوْنَكُمْ اِذْ تَدْعُوْنَ ۙ ٧٢
ID Translation Berkata Ibrahim: "Apakah berhala-berhala itu mendengar (doa)mu sewaktu kamu berdoa (kepadanya)?,
EN Translation Said he: “Do [you really think that] they hear you when you invoke them,
اَوْ يَنْفَعُوْنَكُمْ اَوْ يَضُرُّوْنَ ٧٣
ID Translation atau (dapatkah) mereka memberi manfaat kepadamu atau memberi mudharat?"
EN Translation or benefit you or do you harm?”
قَالُوْا بَلْ وَجَدْنَآ اٰبَاۤءَنَا كَذٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُوْنَ ٧٤
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "(Bukan karena itu) sebenarnya kami mendapati nenek moyang kami berbuat demikian".
EN Translation They exclaimed: But we found our forefathers doing the same!”
قَالَ اَفَرَءَيْتُمْ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُوْنَ ۙ ٧٥
ID Translation Ibrahim berkata: "Maka apakah kamu telah memperhatikan apa yang selalu kamu sembah,
EN Translation Said [Abraham]: “Have you, then, ever considered what it is that you have been worshipping
اَنْتُمْ وَاٰبَاۤؤُكُمُ الْاَقْدَمُوْنَ ۙ ٧٦
ID Translation kamu dan nenek moyang kamu yang dahulu?,
EN Translation you and those ancient forebears of yours?
فَاِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّيْٓ اِلَّا رَبَّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۙ ٧٧
ID Translation karena sesungguhnya apa yang kamu sembah itu adalah musuhku, kecuali Tuhan Semesta Alam,
EN Translation “Now [as for me, I know that,] verily, these [false deities] are my enemies, [and that none is my helper] save the Sustainer of all the worlds,
الَّذِيْ خَلَقَنِيْ فَهُوَ يَهْدِيْنِ ۙ ٧٨
ID Translation (yaitu Tuhan) Yang telah menciptakan aku, maka Dialah yang menunjuki aku,
EN Translation who has created me and is the One who guides me,
وَالَّذِيْ هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِيْ وَيَسْقِيْنِ ۙ ٧٩
ID Translation dan Tuhanku, Yang Dia memberi makan dan minum kepadaku,
EN Translation and is the One who gives me to eat and to drink,
وَاِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِيْنِ ۙ ٨٠
ID Translation dan apabila aku sakit, Dialah Yang menyembuhkan aku,
EN Translation and when I fall ill, is the One who restores me to health,
وَالَّذِيْ يُمِيْتُنِيْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْنِ ۙ ٨١
ID Translation dan Yang akan mematikan aku, kemudian akan menghidupkan aku (kembali),
EN Translation and who will cause me to die and then will bring me back to life –
وَالَّذِيْٓ اَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لِيْ خَطِيْۤـَٔتِيْ يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ ۗ ٨٢
ID Translation dan Yang amat kuinginkan akan mengampuni kesalahanku pada hari kiamat".
EN Translation and who, [hope, will forgive me my faults on Judgment Day!
رَبِّ هَبْ لِيْ حُكْمًا وَّاَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصّٰلِحِيْنَ ۙ ٨٣
ID Translation (Ibrahim berdoa): "Ya Tuhanku, berikanlah kepadaku hikmah dan masukkanlah aku ke dalam golongan orang-orang yang saleh,
EN Translation “O my Sustainer! Endow me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong], and make me one with the righteous,
وَاجْعَلْ لِّيْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى الْاٰخِرِيْنَ ۙ ٨٤
ID Translation dan jadikanlah aku buah tutur yang baik bagi orang-orang (yang datang) kemudian,
EN Translation and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me,
وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ وَّرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيْمِ ۙ ٨٥
ID Translation dan jadikanlah aku termasuk orang-orang yang mempusakai surga yang penuh kenikmatan,
EN Translation and place me among those who shall inherit the garden of bliss!
وَاغْفِرْ لِاَبِيْٓ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّاۤلِّيْنَ ۙ ٨٦
ID Translation dan ampunilah bapakku, karena sesungguhnya ia adalah termasuk golongan orang-orang yang sesat,
EN Translation “And forgive my father - for, verily, he is among those who have gone astray –
وَلَا تُخْزِنِيْ يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُوْنَۙ ٨٧
ID Translation dan janganlah Engkau hinakan aku pada hari mereka dibangkitkan,
EN Translation and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead:
يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَّلَا بَنُوْنَ ۙ ٨٨
ID Translation (yaitu) di hari harta dan anak-anak laki-laki tidak berguna,
EN Translation the Day on which neither wealth will be of any use, nor children,
اِلَّا مَنْ اَتَى اللّٰهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيْمٍ ۗ ٨٩
ID Translation kecuali orang-orang yang menghadap Allah dengan hati yang bersih,
EN Translation [and when] only he [will be happy] who comes before God with a heart free of evil!”
وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ۙ ٩٠
ID Translation dan (di hari itu) didekatkanlah surga kepada orang-orang yang bertakwa,
EN Translation For, [on that Day,] paradise will be brought within sight of the God-conscious,
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيْمُ لِلْغٰوِيْنَ ۙ ٩١
ID Translation dan diperlihatkan dengan jelas neraka Jahim kepada orang-orang yang sesat",
EN Translation whereas the blazing fire will be laid open before those who had been lost in grievous error;
وَقِيْلَ لَهُمْ اَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُوْنَ ۙ ٩٢
ID Translation dan dikatakan kepada mereka: "Dimanakah berhala-berhala yang dahulu kamu selalu menyembah(nya)
EN Translation and they will be asked: “Where now is all that you were wont to worship
مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗهَلْ يَنْصُرُوْنَكُمْ اَوْ يَنْتَصِرُوْنَ ۗ ٩٣
ID Translation selain dari Allah? Dapatkah mereka menolong kamu atau menolong diri mereka sendiri?"
EN Translation instead of God? Can these [things and beings] be of any help to you or to themselves?”
فَكُبْكِبُوْا فِيْهَا هُمْ وَالْغَاوٗنَ ۙ ٩٤
ID Translation Maka mereka (sembahan-sembahan itu) dijungkirkan ke dalam neraka bersama-sama orang-orang yang sesat,
EN Translation Thereupon they will be hurled into hell – they, as well as all [others] who had been lost in grievous error,
وَجُنُوْدُ اِبْلِيْسَ اَجْمَعُوْنَ ۗ ٩٥
ID Translation dan bala tentara iblis semuanya.
EN Translation and the hosts of Iblis - all together.
قَالُوْا وَهُمْ فِيْهَا يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ ٩٦
ID Translation Mereka berkata sedang mereka bertengkar di dalam neraka:
EN Translation And there and then, blaming one another, they [who had grievously sinned in life] will exclaim:
تَاللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنَّا لَفِيْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ۙ ٩٧
ID Translation "demi Allah: sungguh kita dahulu (di dunia) dalam kesesatan yang nyata,
EN Translation “By God, we were most obviously astray
اِذْ نُسَوِّيْكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٩٨
ID Translation karena kita mempersamakan kamu dengan Tuhan semesta alam".
EN Translation when we deemed you [false deities] equal to the Sustainer of all the worlds –
وَمَآ اَضَلَّنَآ اِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ ٩٩
ID Translation Dan tiadalah yang menyesatkan kami kecuali orang-orang yang berdosa.
EN Translation yet they who have seduced us [into believing in you] are the truly guilty ones!
فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ شَافِعِيْنَ ۙ ١٠٠
ID Translation Maka kami tidak mempunyai pemberi syafa'at seorangpun,
EN Translation And now we have none to intercede for us,
وَلَا صَدِيْقٍ حَمِيْمٍ ١٠١
ID Translation dan tidak pula mempunyai teman yang akrab,
EN Translation nor any loving friend.
فَلَوْ اَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٠٢
ID Translation maka sekiranya kita dapat kembali sekali lagi (ke dunia) niscaya kami menjadi orang-orang yang beriman".
EN Translation Would that we had a second chance [in life], so that we could be among the believers!”
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٠٣
ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda-tanda (kekuasaan Allah), tetapi kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٠٤
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوْحِ ِۨالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۚ ١٠٥
ID Translation Kaum Nuh telah mendustakan para rasul.
EN Translation The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God’s] message-bearers
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ نُوْحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ۚ ١٠٦
ID Translation Ketika saudara mereka (Nuh) berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa?
EN Translation when their brother Noah said unto them: “Will you not be conscious of God?
اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ ۙ ١٠٧
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul kepercayaan (yang diutus) kepadamu,
EN Translation Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust:
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِۚ ١٠٨
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku.
EN Translation be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!
وَمَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۚ ١٠٩
ID Translation Dan aku sekali-kali tidak minta upah kepadamu atas ajakan-ajakan itu; upahku tidak lain hanyalah dari Tuhan semesta alam.
EN Translation “And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds.
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ١١٠
ID Translation Maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku".
EN Translation Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!”
۞ قَالُوْٓا اَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْاَرْذَلُوْنَ ۗ ١١١
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Apakah kami akan beriman kepadamu, padahal yang mengikuti kamu ialah orang-orang yang hina?".
EN Translation They answered: “Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?”
قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِيْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ۚ ١١٢
ID Translation Nuh menjawab: "Bagaimana aku mengetahui apa yang telah mereka kerjakan?
EN Translation Said he: “And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]?
اِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّيْ لَوْ تَشْعُرُوْنَ ۚ ١١٣
ID Translation Perhitungan (amal perbuatan) mereka tidak lain hanyalah kepada Tuhanku, kalau kamu menyadari.
EN Translation Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]!
وَمَآ اَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۚ ١١٤
ID Translation Dan aku sekali-kali tidak akan mengusir orang-orang yang beriman.
EN Translation Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers;
اِنْ اَنَا۠ اِلَّا نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ۗ ١١٥
ID Translation Aku (ini) tidak lain melainkan pemberi peringatan yang menjelaskan".
EN Translation I am nothing but a plain warner.”
قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهِ يٰنُوْحُ لَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُوْمِيْنَۗ ١١٦
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Sungguh jika kamu tidak (mau) berhenti hai Nuh, niscaya benar-benar kamu akan termasuk orang-orang yang dirajam".
EN Translation Said they: “Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!”
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنَّ قَوْمِيْ كَذَّبُوْنِۖ ١١٧
ID Translation Nuh berkata: "Ya Tuhanku, sesungguhnya kaumku telah mendustakan aku;
EN Translation [Whereupon] he prayed: “O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie:
فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَّنَجِّنِيْ وَمَنْ مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١١٨
ID Translation maka itu adakanlah suatu keputusan antaraku dan antara mereka, dan selamatkanlah aku dan orang-orang yang mukmin besertaku".
EN Translation hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!”
فَاَنْجَيْنٰهُ وَمَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُوْنِ ١١٩
ID Translation Maka Kami selamatkan Nuh dan orang-orang yang besertanya di dalam kapal yang penuh muatan.
EN Translation And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark,
ثُمَّ اَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبٰقِيْنَ ١٢٠
ID Translation Kemudian sesudah itu Kami tenggelamkan orang-orang yang tinggal.
EN Translation and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown.
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٢١
ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kekuasaan Allah), tetapi kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٢٢
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace
كَذَّبَتْ عَادُ ِۨالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٢٣
ID Translation Kaum 'Aad telah mendustakan para rasul.
EN Translation [AND the tribe of] Ad gave the lie to [one of God’s] message-bearers
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ هُوْدٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ۚ ١٢٤
ID Translation Ketika saudara mereka Hud berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa?
EN Translation when their brother Hud said unto them: “Will you not be conscious of God?
اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ ۙ ١٢٥
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul kepercayaan (yang diutus) kepadamu,
EN Translation Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust:
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ۚ ١٢٦
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku.
EN Translation be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!
وَمَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ١٢٧
ID Translation Dan sekali-kali aku tidak minta upah kepadamu atas ajakan itu; upahku tidak lain hanyalah dari Tuhan semesta alam.
EN Translation “And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds.
اَتَبْنُوْنَ بِكُلِّ رِيْعٍ اٰيَةً تَعْبَثُوْنَ ۙ ١٢٨
ID Translation Apakah kamu mendirikan pada tiap-tiap tanah tinggi bangunan untuk bermain-main,
EN Translation “Will you, in your wanton folly, build [idolatrous] altars on every height,
وَتَتَّخِذُوْنَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُوْنَۚ ١٢٩
ID Translation dan kamu membuat benteng-benteng dengan maksud supaya kamu kekal (di dunia)?
EN Translation and make for yourselves mighty castles, [hoping] that you might become immortal?
وَاِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِيْنَۚ ١٣٠
ID Translation Dan apabila kamu menyiksa, maka kamu menyiksa sebagai orang-orang kejam dan bengis.
EN Translation And will you [always], whenever you lay hand [on others], lay hand [on them] cruelly, without any restraint?
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِۚ ١٣١
ID Translation Maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku.
EN Translation “Be, then, conscious of God and pay heed unto me:
وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِيْٓ اَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ۚ ١٣٢
ID Translation Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah yang telah menganugerahkan kepadamu apa yang kamu ketahui.
EN Translation and [thus] be conscious of Him who has [so] amply provided you with all [the good] that you might think of
اَمَدَّكُمْ بِاَنْعَامٍ وَّبَنِيْنَۙ ١٣٣
ID Translation Dia telah menganugerahkan kepadamu binatang-binatang ternak, dan anak-anak,
EN Translation amply provided you with flocks, and children,
وَجَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍۚ ١٣٤
ID Translation dan kebun-kebun dan mata air,
EN Translation and gardens, and springs -:
اِنِّيْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ۗ ١٣٥
ID Translation sesungguhnya aku takut kamu akan ditimpa azab hari yang besar".
EN Translation for, verily, I fear lest suffering befall you on an awesome day!”
قَالُوْا سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْنَآ اَوَعَظْتَ اَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِيْنَ ۙ ١٣٦
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Adalah sama saja bagi kami, apakah kamu memberi nasehat atau tidak memberi nasehat,
EN Translation [But] they answered. “It is all one to us whether thou preachest [something new] or art not of those who [like to] preach.
اِنْ هٰذَآ اِلَّا خُلُقُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۙ ١٣٧
ID Translation (agama kami) ini tidak lain hanyalah adat kebiasaan orang dahulu.
EN Translation This [religion of ours] is none other than that to which our forebears clung,
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ ۚ ١٣٨
ID Translation dan kami sekali-kali tidak akan di "azab".
EN Translation and we are not going to be chastised [for adhering to it]!”
فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَهْلَكْنٰهُمْۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٣٩
ID Translation Maka mereka mendustakan Hud, lalu Kami binasakan mereka. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kekuasaan Allah), tetapi kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation And so they gave him the lie: and thereupon We destroyed them. In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٤٠
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُوْدُ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٤١
ID Translation Kaum Tsamud telah mendustakan rasul-rasul.
EN Translation [AND the tribe of] Thamud gave the lie to [one of God’s] message-hearers
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ صٰلِحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ۚ ١٤٢
ID Translation Ketika saudara mereka, Shaleh, berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa?
EN Translation when their brother Salih said unto them: “Will you not be conscious of God?
اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ ۙ ١٤٣
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul kepercayaan (yang diutus) kepadamu,
EN Translation Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust:
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ۚ ١٤٤
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku.
EN Translation be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!
وَمَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍۚ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ١٤٥
ID Translation Dan aku sekali-kali tidak minta upah kepadamu atas ajakan itu, upahku tidak lain hanyalah dari Tuhan semesta alam.
EN Translation “And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds.
اَتُتْرَكُوْنَ فِيْ مَا هٰهُنَآ اٰمِنِيْنَ ۙ ١٤٦
ID Translation Adakah kamu akan dibiarkan tinggal disini (di negeri kamu ini) dengan aman,
EN Translation “Do you think that you will be left secure [forever] in the midst of what you have here and now?
فِيْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ ۙ ١٤٧
ID Translation di dalam kebun-kebun serta mata air,
EN Translation amidst [these] gardens and springs
وَّزُرُوْعٍ وَّنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيْمٌ ۚ ١٤٨
ID Translation dan tanam-tanaman dan pohon-pohon korma yang mayangnya lembut.
EN Translation and fields, and [these] palm-trees with slender spathes? –
وَتَنْحِتُوْنَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوْتًا فٰرِهِيْنَ ١٤٩
ID Translation Dan kamu pahat sebagian dari gunung-gunung untuk dijadikan rumah-rumah dengan rajin;
EN Translation and that you will [always be able to] hew dwellings out of the mountains with [the same] great skill?”
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ۚ ١٥٠
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku;
EN Translation “Be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me,
وَلَا تُطِيْعُوْٓا اَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِيْنَ ۙ ١٥١
ID Translation dan janganlah kamu mentaati perintah orang-orang yang melewati batas,
EN Translation and pay no heed to the counsel of those who are given to excesses –
الَّذِيْنَ يُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُوْنَ ١٥٢
ID Translation yang membuat kerusakan di muka bumi dan tidak mengadakan perbaikan".
EN Translation those who spread corruption on earth instead of setting things to rights!”
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّمَآ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِيْنَ ۙ ١٥٣
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kamu adalah salah seorang dari orang-orang yang kena sihir;
EN Translation Said they: “Thou art but one of the bewitched!
مَآ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَاۙ فَأْتِ بِاٰيَةٍ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ١٥٤
ID Translation Kamu tidak lain melainkan seorang manusia seperti kami; maka datangkanlah sesuatu mukjizat, jika kamu memang termasuk orang-orang yang benar".
EN Translation Thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! Come, then, forward with a token [of thy mission] if thou art a man of truth!”
قَالَ هٰذِهٖ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَّلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُوْمٍ ۚ ١٥٥
ID Translation Shaleh menjawab: "Ini seekor unta betina, ia mempunyai giliran untuk mendapatkan air, dan kamu mempunyai giliran pula untuk mendapatkan air di hari yang tertentu.
EN Translation Replied he: “This she-camel shall have a share of water, and you shall have a share of water, on the days appointed [therefor];
وَلَا تَمَسُّوْهَا بِسُوْۤءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ١٥٦
ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu sentuh unta betina itu dengan sesuatu kejahatan, yang menyebabkan kamu akan ditimpa oleh azab hari yang besar".
EN Translation and do her no harm, lest suffering befall you on an awesome day!”
فَعَقَرُوْهَا فَاَصْبَحُوْا نٰدِمِيْنَ ۙ ١٥٧
ID Translation Kemudian mereka membunuhnya, lalu mereka menjadi menyesal,
EN Translation But they cruelly slaughtered her - and then they had cause to regret it:
فَاَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٥٨
ID Translation maka mereka ditimpa azab. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat bukti yang nyata. Dan adalah kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation for the suffering [predicted by Salih,] befell them [then and there]. In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٥٩
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone – is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوْطِ ِۨالْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٦٠
ID Translation Kaum Luth telah mendustakan rasul-rasul,
EN Translation [AND] the people of Lot gave the lie to [one of God’s] message-bearers
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ اَخُوْهُمْ لُوْطٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ۚ ١٦١
ID Translation ketika saudara mereka, Luth, berkata kepada mereka: mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa?"
EN Translation when their brother Lot said unto them: “Will you not be conscious of God?
اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ ۙ ١٦٢
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul kepercayaan (yang diutus) kepadamu,
EN Translation Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust:
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ۚ ١٦٣
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku.
EN Translation be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!
وَمَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ١٦٤
ID Translation Dan aku sekali-kali tidak minta upah kepadamu atas ajakan itu; upahku tidak lain hanyalah dari Tuhan semeta alam.
EN Translation “And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds.
اَتَأْتُوْنَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۙ ١٦٥
ID Translation Mengapa kamu mendatangi jenis lelaki di antara manusia,
EN Translation “Must you, of all people, [lustfully] approach men,
وَتَذَرُوْنَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِّنْ اَزْوَاجِكُمْۗ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ عٰدُوْنَ ١٦٦
ID Translation dan kamu tinggalkan isteri-isteri yang dijadikan oleh Tuhanmu untukmu, bahkan kamu adalah orang-orang yang melampaui batas".
EN Translation keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!”
قَالُوْا لَىِٕنْ لَّمْ تَنْتَهِ يٰلُوْطُ لَتَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِيْنَ ١٦٧
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Hai Luth, sesungguhnya jika kamu tidak berhenti, benar-benar kamu termasuk orang-orang yang diusir"
EN Translation Said they: “Indeed, If thou desist not, O Lot, thou wilt most certainly be expelled [from this township]!”
قَالَ ِانِّيْ لِعَمَلِكُمْ مِّنَ الْقَالِيْنَ ۗ ١٦٨
ID Translation Luth berkata: "Sesungguhnya aku sangat benci kepada perbuatanmu".
EN Translation [Lot] exclaimed: “Behold, I am one of those who utterly abhor your doings!”
رَبِّ نَجِّنِيْ وَاَهْلِيْ مِمَّا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٦٩
ID Translation (Luth berdoa): "Ya Tuhanku selamatkanlah aku beserta keluargaku dari (akibat) perbuatan yang mereka kerjakan".
EN Translation [And then he prayed:] “O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!”
فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗٓ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ۙ ١٧٠
ID Translation Lalu Kami selamatkan ia beserta keluarganya semua,
EN Translation Thereupon We saved him and all his household –
اِلَّا عَجُوْزًا فِى الْغٰبِرِيْنَ ۚ ١٧١
ID Translation kecuali seorang perempuan tua (isterinya), yang termasuk dalam golongan yang tinggal.
EN Translation all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind;
ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْاٰخَرِيْنَ ۚ ١٧٢
ID Translation Kemudian Kami binasakan yang lain.
EN Translation and then We utterly destroyed the others,
وَاَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَّطَرًاۚ فَسَاۤءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِيْنَ ١٧٣
ID Translation Dan Kami hujani mereka dengan hujan (batu) maka amat jeleklah hujan yang menimpa orang-orang yang telah diberi peringatan itu.
EN Translation and rained down upon them a rain [of destruction]: and dire is such rain upon all who let themselves be warned [to no avail]!
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٧٤
ID Translation Sesunguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat bukti-bukti yang nyata. Dan adalah kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٧٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu, benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
كَذَّبَ اَصْحٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ ۖ ١٧٦
ID Translation Penduduk Aikah telah mendustakan rasul-rasul;
EN Translation [AND] the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan] gave the lie to [one of God’s] message-bearers
اِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوْنَ ۚ ١٧٧
ID Translation ketika Syu'aib berkata kepada mereka: "Mengapa kamu tidak bertakwa?,
EN Translation when their brother Shu’ayb said unto them: “Will you not be conscious of God?
اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌ اَمِيْنٌ ۙ ١٧٨
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku adalah seorang rasul kepercayaan (yang diutus) kepadamu.
EN Translation Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust:
فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَطِيْعُوْنِ ۚ ١٧٩
ID Translation maka bertakwalah kepada Allah dan taatlah kepadaku;
EN Translation be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!
وَمَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلٰى رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ١٨٠
ID Translation dan aku sekali-kali tidak minta upah kepadamu atas ajakan itu; upahku tidak lain hanyalah dari Tuhan semesta alam.
EN Translation “And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds.
۞ اَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا مِنَ الْمُخْسِرِيْنَ ۚ ١٨١
ID Translation Sempurnakanlah takaran dan janganlah kamu termasuk orang-orang yang merugikan;
EN Translation “[Always] give full measure, and be not among those who [unjustly] cause loss [to others];
وَزِنُوْا بِالْقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيْمِ ۚ ١٨٢
ID Translation dan timbanglah dengan timbangan yang lurus.
EN Translation and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance,
وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ اَشْيَاۤءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ مُفْسِدِيْنَ ۚ ١٨٣
ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu merugikan manusia pada hak-haknya dan janganlah kamu merajalela di muka bumi dengan membuat kerusakan;
EN Translation and do not deprive people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption,
وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَالْجِبِلَّةَ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۗ ١٨٤
ID Translation dan bertakwalah kepada Allah yang telah menciptakan kamu dan umat-umat yang dahulu".
EN Translation but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!”
قَالُوْٓا اِنَّمَآ اَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِيْنَ ۙ ١٨٥
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kamu adalah salah seorang dari orang-orang yang kena sihir,
EN Translation Said they: “Thou art but one of the bewitched,
وَمَآ اَنْتَ اِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَاِنْ نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ۚ ١٨٦
ID Translation dan kamu tidak lain melainkan seorang manusia seperti kami, dan sesungguhnya kami yakin bahwa kamu benar-benar termasuk orang-orang yang berdusta.
EN Translation for thou art nothing but a mortal like ourselves! And, behold, we think that thou art a consummate liar!
فَاَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ اِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصّٰدِقِيْنَ ۗ ١٨٧
ID Translation Maka jatuhkanlah atas kami gumpalan dari langit, jika kamu termasuk orang-orang yang benar.
EN Translation Cause, then, fragments of the sky to fall down upon us, if thou art a man of truth!”
قَالَ رَبِّيْٓ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٨٨
ID Translation Syu'aib berkata: "Tuhanku lebih mengetahui apa yang kamu kerjakan".
EN Translation Answered [Shu’ayb]: “My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing.”
فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَاَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ ۗاِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيْمٍ ١٨٩
ID Translation Kemudian mereka mendustakan Syu'aib, lalu mereka ditimpa azab pada hari mereka dinaungi awan. Sesungguhnya azab itu adalah azab hari yang besar.
EN Translation But they gave him the lie. And thereupon suffering overtook them on a day dark with shadows: and, verily, it was the suffering of an awesome day!
اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً ۗوَمَا كَانَ اَكْثَرُهُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٩٠
ID Translation Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu benar-benar terdapat tanda (kekuasaan Allah), tetapi kebanyakan mereka tidak beriman.
EN Translation In this [story], behold, there is a message [unto men], even though most of them will not believe [in it].
وَاِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٩١
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Tuhanmu benar-benar Dialah Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace!
وَاِنَّهٗ لَتَنْزِيْلُ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ۗ ١٩٢
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Al Quran ini benar-benar diturunkan oleh Tuhan semesta alam,
EN Translation Now, behold, this [divine writ] has indeed been bestowed from on high by the Sustainer of all the worlds:
نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوْحُ الْاَمِيْنُ ۙ ١٩٣
ID Translation dia dibawa turun oleh Ar-Ruh Al-Amin (Jibril),
EN Translation trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high
عَلٰى قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِيْنَ ۙ ١٩٤
ID Translation ke dalam hatimu (Muhammad) agar kamu menjadi salah seorang di antara orang-orang yang memberi peringatan,
EN Translation upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach
بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيٍّ مُّبِيْنٍ ۗ ١٩٥
ID Translation dengan bahasa Arab yang jelas.
EN Translation in the clear Arabic tongue.
وَاِنَّهٗ لَفِيْ زُبُرِ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ١٩٦
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Al Quran itu benar-benar (tersebut) dalam Kitab-kitab orang yang dahulu.
EN Translation And, verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well].
اَوَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهُمْ اٰيَةً اَنْ يَّعْلَمَهٗ عُلَمٰۤؤُا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ١٩٧
ID Translation Dan apakah tidak cukup menjadi bukti bagi mereka, bahwa para ulama Bani Israil mengetahuinya?
EN Translation Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]?
وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنٰهُ عَلٰى بَعْضِ الْاَعْجَمِيْنَ ۙ ١٩٨
ID Translation Dan kalau Al Quran itu Kami turunkan kepada salah seorang dari golongan bukan Arab,
EN Translation But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs,
فَقَرَاَهٗ عَلَيْهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ مُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ ١٩٩
ID Translation lalu ia membacakannya kepada mereka (orang-orang kafir); niscaya mereka tidak akan beriman kepadanya.
EN Translation and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue], they would not have believed in it.
كَذٰلِكَ سَلَكْنٰهُ فِيْ قُلُوْبِ الْمُجْرِمِيْنَ ۗ ٢٠٠
ID Translation Demikianlah Kami masukkan Al Quran ke dalam hati orang-orang yang durhaka.
EN Translation Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin:
لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ حَتّٰى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْاَلِيْمَ ٢٠١
ID Translation Mereka tidak beriman kepadanya, hingga mereka melihat azab yang pedih,
EN Translation they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering
فَيَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَّهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ۙ ٢٠٢
ID Translation maka datanglah azab kepada mereka dengan mendadak, sedang mereka tidak menyadarinya,
EN Translation that will come upon them [on resurrection,] all of a sudden, without their being aware [of its approach];
فَيَقُوْلُوْا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنْظَرُوْنَ ۗ ٢٠٣
ID Translation lalu mereka berkata: "Apakah kami dapat diberi tangguh?"
EN Translation and then they will exclaim, “Could we have a respite?”
اَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ ٢٠٤
ID Translation Maka apakah mereka meminta supaya disegerakan azab Kami?
EN Translation Do they, then, [really] wish that Our chastisement be hastened on?
اَفَرَءَيْتَ اِنْ مَّتَّعْنٰهُمْ سِنِيْنَ ۙ ٢٠٥
ID Translation Maka bagaimana pendapatmu jika Kami berikan kepada mereka kenikmatan hidup bertahun-tahun,
EN Translation But hast thou ever considered [this]: If We do allow them to enjoy [this life] for some years,
ثُمَّ جَاۤءَهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يُوْعَدُوْنَ ۙ ٢٠٦
ID Translation Kemudian datang kepada mereka azab yang telah diancamkan kepada mereka,
EN Translation and thereupon that [chastisement] which they were promised befalls them –
مَآ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يُمَتَّعُوْنَ ۗ ٢٠٧
ID Translation niscaya tidak berguna bagi mereka apa yang mereka selalu menikmatinya.
EN Translation of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments?
وَمَآ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ اِلَّا لَهَا مُنْذِرُوْنَ ۖ ٢٠٨
ID Translation Dan Kami tidak membinasakan sesuatu negeripun, melainkan sesudah ada baginya orang-orang yang memberi peringatan;
EN Translation And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned
ذِكْرٰىۚ وَمَا كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ٢٠٩
ID Translation untuk menjadi peringatan. Dan Kami sekali-kali tidak berlaku zalim.
EN Translation and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone].
وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيٰطِيْنُ ٢١٠
ID Translation Dan Al Quran itu bukanlah dibawa turun oleh syaitan-syaitan.
EN Translation And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down:
وَمَا يَنْۢبَغِيْ لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ ۗ ٢١١
ID Translation Dan tidaklah patut mereka membawa turun Al Quran itu, dan merekapun tidak akan kuasa.
EN Translation for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]:
اِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُوْلُوْنَ ۗ ٢١٢
ID Translation Sesungguhnya mereka benar-benar dijauhkan daripada mendengar Al Quran itu.
EN Translation verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred!
فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِيْنَ ٢١٣
ID Translation Maka janganlah kamu menyeru (menyembah) tuhan yang lain di samping Allah, yang menyebabkan kamu termasuk orang-orang yang diazab.
EN Translation Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day].
وَاَنْذِرْ عَشِيْرَتَكَ الْاَقْرَبِيْنَ ۙ ٢١٤
ID Translation Dan berilah peringatan kepada kerabat-kerabatmu yang terdekat,
EN Translation And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk,
وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۚ ٢١٥
ID Translation dan rendahkanlah dirimu terhadap orang-orang yang mengikutimu, yaitu orang-orang yang beriman.
EN Translation and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee;
فَاِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ اِنِّيْ بَرِيْۤءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ۚ ٢١٦
ID Translation Jika mereka mendurhakaimu maka katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya aku tidak bertanggung jawab terhadap apa yang kamu kerjakan";
EN Translation but if they disobey thee, say, “I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!” –
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيْزِ الرَّحِيْمِ ۙ ٢١٧
ID Translation Dan bertawakkallah kepada (Allah) Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Penyayang,
EN Translation and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace,
الَّذِيْ يَرٰىكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُ ٢١٨
ID Translation Yang melihat kamu ketika kamu berdiri (untuk sembahyang),
EN Translation who sees thee when thou standest [alone],
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِى السّٰجِدِيْنَ ٢١٩
ID Translation dan (melihat pula) perubahan gerak badanmu di antara orang-orang yang sujud.
EN Translation and [sees] thy behaviour among those who prostrate themselves [before Him]:
اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ٢٢٠
ID Translation Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.
EN Translation for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing!
هَلْ اُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلٰى مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيٰطِيْنُ ۗ ٢٢١
ID Translation Apakah akan Aku beritakan kepadamu, kepada siapa syaitan-syaitan itu turun?
EN Translation [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend?
تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰى كُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثِيْمٍ ۙ ٢٢٢
ID Translation Mereka turun kepada tiap-tiap pendusta lagi yang banyak dosa,
EN Translation They descend upon all sinful self-deceivers
يُّلْقُوْنَ السَّمْعَ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ كٰذِبُوْنَ ۗ ٢٢٣
ID Translation mereka menghadapkan pendengaran (kepada syaitan) itu, dan kebanyakan mereka adalah orang-orang pendusta.
EN Translation who readily lend ear [to every falsehood], and most of whom lie to others as well.
وَالشُّعَرَاۤءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوٗنَ ۗ ٢٢٤
ID Translation Dan penyair-penyair itu diikuti oleh orang-orang yang sesat.
EN Translation And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them.
اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّهُمْ فِيْ كُلِّ وَادٍ يَّهِيْمُوْنَ ۙ ٢٢٥
ID Translation Tidakkah kamu melihat bahwasanya mereka mengembara di tiap-tiap lembah,
EN Translation Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts],
وَاَنَّهُمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ ۙ ٢٢٦
ID Translation dan bahwasanya mereka suka mengatakan apa yang mereka sendiri tidak mengerjakan(nya)?
EN Translation and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]?
اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثِيْرًا وَّانْتَصَرُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوْا ۗوَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْٓا اَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَّنْقَلِبُوْنَ ٢٢٧
ID Translation kecuali orang-orang (penyair-penyair) yang beriman dan beramal saleh dan banyak menyebut Allah dan mendapat kemenangan sesudah menderita kezaliman. Dan orang-orang yang zalim itu kelak akan mengetahui ke tempat mana mereka akan kembali.
EN Translation [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God’s promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take!
طٰسۤ ۚ تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ۙ ١
ID Translation Thaa Siin (Surat) ini adalah ayat-ayat Al Quran, dan (ayat-ayat) Kitab yang menjelaskan,
EN Translation Ta. Sin. THESE ARE MESSAGES of the Qur’an - a divine writ clear in itself and clearly showing the truth:
هُدًى وَّبُشْرٰى لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۙ ٢
ID Translation untuk menjadi petunjuk dan berita gembira untuk orang-orang yang beriman,
EN Translation a guidance and a glad tiding to the believers
الَّذِيْنَ يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمْ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ ٣
ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang mendirikan sembahyang dan menunaikan zakat dan mereka yakin akan adanya negeri akhirat.
EN Translation who are constant in prayer and spend in charity: for it is they, they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come!
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ ۗ ٤
ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang tidak beriman kepada negeri akhirat, Kami jadikan mereka memandang indah perbuatan-perbuatan mereka, maka mereka bergelimang (dalam kesesatan).
EN Translation As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَهُمْ سُوْۤءُ الْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ هُمُ الْاَخْسَرُوْنَ ٥
ID Translation Mereka itulah orang-orang yang mendapat (di dunia) azab yang buruk dan mereka di akhirat adalah orang-orang yang paling merugi.
EN Translation It is they whom the worst of suffering awaits: for it is they, they who in the life to come shall be the greatest losers!
وَاِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْاٰنَ مِنْ لَّدُنْ حَكِيْمٍ عَلِيْمٍ ٦
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya kamu benar-benar diberi Al Quran dari sisi (Allah) Yang Maha Bijaksana lagi Maha Mengetahui.
EN Translation But [as for thee, O believer,] verily, thou hast received this Qur’an out of the grace of One who is wise, all-knowing.
اِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِاَهْلِهٖٓ اِنِّيْٓ اٰنَسْتُ نَارًاۗ سَاٰتِيْكُمْ مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ اَوْ اٰتِيْكُمْ بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُوْنَ ٧
ID Translation (Ingatlah) ketika Musa berkata kepada keluarganya: "Sesungguhnya aku melihat api. Aku kelak akan membawa kepadamu khabar daripadanya, atau aku membawa kepadamu suluh api supaya kamu dapat berdiang".
EN Translation Lo! [While lost in the desert,] Moses said to his family: “Behold, I perceive a fire [far away]; I may bring you from there some tiding [as to which way we arc to pursue], or bring you [at least] a burning brand so that you might warm yourselves.”
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهَا نُوْدِيَ اَنْۢ بُوْرِكَ مَنْ فِى النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَاۗ وَسُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨
ID Translation Maka tatkala dia tiba di (tempat) api itu, diserulah dia: "Bahwa telah diberkati orang-orang yang berada di dekat api itu, dan orang-orang yang berada di sekitarnya. Dan Maha Suci Allah, Tuhan semesta alam".
EN Translation But when he came close to it, a call was sounded: “Blessed are all who are within [reach of] this fire, and all who are near it! And limitless in His glory is God, the Sustainer of all the worlds!”
يٰمُوْسٰٓى اِنَّهٗٓ اَنَا اللّٰهُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ۙ ٩
ID Translation (Allah berfirman): "Hai Musa, sesungguhnya, Akulah Allah, Yang Maha Perkasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.
EN Translation [And God spoke thus:] “O Moses! Verily I alone am God, the Almighty, the Wise!”
وَاَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۗفَلَمَّا رَاٰهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَاَنَّهَا جَاۤنٌّ وَّلّٰى مُدْبِرًا وَّلَمْ يُعَقِّبْۗ يٰمُوْسٰى لَا تَخَفْۗ اِنِّيْ لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ ۖ ١٠
ID Translation dan lemparkanlah tongkatmu". Maka tatkala (tongkat itu menjadi ular dan) Musa melihatnya bergerak-gerak seperti dia seekor ular yang gesit, larilah ia berbalik ke belakang tanpa menoleh. "Hai Musa, janganlah kamu takut. Sesungguhnya orang yang dijadikan rasul, tidak takut di hadapan-Ku.
EN Translation [And then He said:] “Now throw down thy staff!” But when he saw it move rapidly, as if it were a serpent, he drew back [in terror], and did not [dare to] return. [And God spoke to him again:] O Moses! Fear not - for, behold, no fear need the message-bearers have in My Presence,
اِلَّا مَنْ ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًاۢ بَعْدَ سُوْۤءٍ فَاِنِّيْ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ١١
ID Translation tetapi orang yang berlaku zalim, kemudian ditukarnya kezalimannya dengan kebaikan (Allah akan mengampuninya); maka seaungguhnya Aku Maha Pangampun lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation and neither need anyone who has done wrong and then has replaced the wrong with good: for, verily, I am much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!
وَاَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ فِيْ جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَاۤءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُوْۤءٍۙ فِيْ تِسْعِ اٰيٰتٍ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَقَوْمِهٖۚ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمًا فٰسِقِيْنَ ١٢
ID Translation Dan masukkanlah tanganmu ke leher bajumu, niscaya ia akan ke luar putih (bersinar) bukan karena penyakit. (Kedua mukjizat ini) termasuk sembilan buah mukjizat (yang akan dikemukakan) kepada Fir'aun dan kaumnya. Sesungguhnya mereka adalah kaum yang fasik".
EN Translation “Now place thy hand into thy bosom: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish!” [And thou shalt go] with nine [of My] messages unto Pharaoh and his people for, verily, they are people depraved!”
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتْهُمْ اٰيٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوْا هٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ۚ ١٣
ID Translation Maka tatkala mukjizat-mukjizat Kami yang jelas itu sampai kepada mereka, berkatalah mereka: "Ini adalah sihir yang nyata".
EN Translation But when Our light-giving messages came unto them, they said, “This is clearly [but] spellbinding deception!”
وَجَحَدُوْا بِهَا وَاسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ اَنْفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَّعُلُوًّاۗ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ ١٤
ID Translation Dan mereka mengingkarinya karena kezaliman dan kesombongan (mereka) padahal hati mereka meyakini (kebenaran)nya. Maka perhatikanlah betapa kesudahan orang-orang yang berbuat kebinasaan.
EN Translation - and in their wickedness and self-exaltation they rejected them, although their minds were convinced of their truth: and behold what happened in the end to those spreaders of corruption!
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا دَاوٗدَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ عِلْمًاۗ وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ فَضَّلَنَا عَلٰى كَثِيْرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ١٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah memberi ilmu kepada Daud dan Sulaiman; dan keduanya mengucapkan: "Segala puji bagi Allah yang melebihkan kami dari kebanyakan hamba-hambanya yang beriman".
EN Translation AND, INDEED, We granted [true] knowledge unto David and Solomon [as well]; and both were wont to say: All praise is due to God, who has [thus] favoured us above many of His believing servants!”
وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمٰنُ دَاوٗدَ وَقَالَ يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنْطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَاُوْتِيْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍۗ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِيْنُ ١٦
ID Translation Dan Sulaiman telah mewarisi Daud, dan dia berkata: "Hai Manusia, kami telah diberi pengertian tentang suara burung dan kami diberi segala sesuatu. Sesungguhnya (semua) ini benar-benar suatu kurnia yang nyata".
EN Translation And [in this insight] Solomon was [truly] David’s heir; and he would say: “O you people! We have been taught the speech of birds, and have been given [in abundance] of all [good] things: this, behold, is indeed a manifest favour [from God]!”
وَحُشِرَ لِسُلَيْمٰنَ جُنُوْدُهٗ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ وَالطَّيْرِ فَهُمْ يُوْزَعُوْنَ ١٧
ID Translation Dan dihimpunkan untuk Sulaiman tentaranya dari jin, manusia dan burung lalu mereka itu diatur dengan tertib (dalam barisan).
EN Translation And [one day] there were assembled before Solomon his hosts of invisible beings, and of men, and of birds; and then they were led forth in orderly ranks,
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَآ اَتَوْا عَلٰى وَادِ النَّمْلِۙ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يّٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوْا مَسٰكِنَكُمْۚ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَجُنُوْدُهٗۙ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ١٨
ID Translation Hingga apabila mereka sampai di lembah semut berkatalah seekor semut: Hai semut-semut, masuklah ke dalam sarang-sarangmu, agar kamu tidak diinjak oleh Sulaiman dan tentaranya, sedangkan mereka tidak menyadari";
EN Translation till, when they came upon a valley [full] of ants, an ant exclaimed: “O you ants! Get into your dwellings, lest Solomon and his hosts crush you without [even] being aware [of you]!”
فَتَبَسَّمَ ضَاحِكًا مِّنْ قَوْلِهَا وَقَالَ رَبِّ اَوْزِعْنِيْٓ اَنْ اَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَيَّ وَاَنْ اَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضٰىهُ وَاَدْخِلْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ١٩
ID Translation maka dia tersenyum dengan tertawa karena (mendengar) perkataan semut itu. Dan dia berdoa: "Ya Tuhanku berilah aku ilham untuk tetap mensyukuri nikmat Mu yang telah Engkau anugerahkan kepadaku dan kepada dua orang ibu bapakku dan untuk mengerjakan amal saleh yang Engkau ridhai; dan masukkanlah aku dengan rahmat-Mu ke dalam golongan hamba-hamba-Mu yang saleh".
EN Translation Thereupon [Solomon] smiled joyously at her words, and said: “O my Sustainer! Inspire me so that I may forever be grateful for those blessings of Thine with which Thou hast graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right [in a manner] that will please Thee; and include me, by Thy grace, among Thy righteous servants!”
وَتَفَقَّدَ الطَّيْرَ فَقَالَ مَا لِيَ لَآ اَرَى الْهُدْهُدَۖ اَمْ كَانَ مِنَ الْغَاۤىِٕبِيْنَ ٢٠
ID Translation Dan dia memeriksa burung-burung lalu berkata: "Mengapa aku tidak melihat hud-hud, apakah dia termasuk yang tidak hadir.
EN Translation And [one day] he looked in vain for [a particular one of] the birds; and so he said: How is it that I do not see the hoopoe? Or could he be among the absent?
لَاُعَذِّبَنَّهٗ عَذَابًا شَدِيْدًا اَوْ لَاَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهٗٓ اَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّيْ بِسُلْطٰنٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ٢١
ID Translation Sungguh aku benar-benar akan mengazabnya dengan azab yang keras atau benar-benar menyembelihnya kecuali jika benar-benar dia datang kepadaku dengan alasan yang terang".
EN Translation [If so,] I will punish him most severely or will kill him unless he bring me a convincing excuse!”
فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيْدٍ فَقَالَ اَحَطْتُّ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِهٖ وَجِئْتُكَ مِنْ سَبَاٍ ۢبِنَبَاٍ يَّقِيْنٍ ٢٢
ID Translation Maka tidak lama kemudian (datanglah hud-hud), lalu ia berkata: "Aku telah mengetahui sesuatu yang kamu belum mengetahuinya; dan kubawa kepadamu dari negeri Saba suatu berita penting yang diyakini.
EN Translation But [the hoopoe] tarried but a short while; and [when it came] it said: “I have encompassed [with my knowledge] something that thou hast never yet encompassed [with thine] - for I have come to thee from Sheba with a tiding sure!
اِنِّيْ وَجَدْتُّ امْرَاَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَاُوْتِيَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيْمٌ ٢٣
ID Translation Sesungguhnya aku menjumpai seorang wanita yang memerintah mereka, dan dia dianugerahi segala sesuatu serta mempunyai singgasana yang besar.
EN Translation “Behold, I found there a woman ruling over them; and she has been given [abundance] of all [good] things, and hers is a mighty throne,
وَجَدْتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُوْنَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطٰنُ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيْلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُوْنَۙ ٢٤
ID Translation Aku mendapati dia dan kaumnya menyembah matahari, selain Allah; dan syaitan telah menjadikan mereka memandang indah perbuatan-perbuatan mereka lalu menghalangi mereka dari jalan (Allah), sehingga mereka tidak dapat petunjuk,
EN Translation And I found her and her people adoring the sun instead of God; and Satan has made these doings of theirs seem goodly to them, and [thus] has barred them from the path [of God], so that they cannot find the right way:
اَلَّا يَسْجُدُوْا لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ يُخْرِجُ الْخَبْءَ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُوْنَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُوْنَ ٢٥
ID Translation agar mereka tidak menyembah Allah Yang mengeluarkan apa yang terpendam di langit dan di bumi dan Yang mengetahui apa yang kamu sembunyikan dan apa yang kamu nyatakan.
EN Translation [for they have come to believe] that they ought not to adore God [although it is He] who brings forth all that is hidden in the heavens and on earth, and knows all that you would conceal as well as all that you bring into the open:
اَللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۙ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ ۩ ٢٦
ID Translation Allah, tiada Tuhan Yang disembah kecuali Dia, Tuhan Yang mempunyai 'Arsy yang besar".
EN Translation God, save whom there is no deity - the Sustainer, in awesome almightiness enthroned!”
۞ قَالَ سَنَنْظُرُ اَصَدَقْتَ اَمْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ٢٧
ID Translation Berkata Sulaiman: "Akan kami lihat, apa kamu benar, ataukah kamu termasuk orang-orang yang berdusta.
EN Translation Said [Solomon]: “We shall see whether thou hast told the truth or art one of the liars!
اِذْهَبْ بِّكِتٰبِيْ هٰذَا فَاَلْقِهْ اِلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَانْظُرْ مَاذَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ ٢٨
ID Translation Pergilah dengan (membawa) suratku ini, lalu jatuhkan kepada mereka, kemudian berpalinglah dari mereka, lalu perhatikanlah apa yang mereka bicarakan"
EN Translation Go with this my letter and convey it to them; and thereafter withdraw from them and see what [answer] they return.”
قَالَتْ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمَلَؤُا اِنِّيْٓ اُلْقِيَ اِلَيَّ كِتٰبٌ كَرِيْمٌ ٢٩
ID Translation Berkata ia (Balqis): "Hai pembesar-pembesar, sesungguhnya telah dijatuhkan kepadaku sebuah surat yang mulia.
EN Translation [When the Queen had read Solomon’s letter,] she said: “O you nobles! A truly distinguished letter has been conveyed unto me.
اِنَّهٗ مِنْ سُلَيْمٰنَ وَاِنَّهٗ بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ ۙ ٣٠
ID Translation Sesungguhnya surat itu, dari SuIaiman dan sesungguhnya (isi)nya: "Dengan menyebut nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.
EN Translation Behold, it is from Solomon, and it says, ‘In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace:
اَلَّا تَعْلُوْا عَلَيَّ وَأْتُوْنِيْ مُسْلِمِيْنَ ٣١
ID Translation Bahwa janganlah kamu sekalian berlaku sombong terhadapku dan datanglah kepadaku sebagai orang-orang yang berserah diri".
EN Translation [God says:] Exalt not yourselves against Me, but come unto Me in willing surrender!’”
قَالَتْ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمَلَؤُا اَفْتُوْنِيْ فِيْٓ اَمْرِيْۚ مَا كُنْتُ قَاطِعَةً اَمْرًا حَتّٰى تَشْهَدُوْنِ ٣٢
ID Translation Berkata dia (Balqis): "Hai para pembesar berilah aku pertimbangan dalam urusanku (ini) aku tidak pernah memutuskan sesuatu persoalan sebelum kamu berada dalam majelis(ku)".
EN Translation She added: “O you nobles! Give me your opinion on the problem with which I am now faced; I would never make a [weighty] decision unless you are present with me.”
قَالُوْا نَحْنُ اُولُوْا قُوَّةٍ وَّاُولُوْا بَأْسٍ شَدِيْدٍ ەۙ وَّالْاَمْرُ اِلَيْكِ فَانْظُرِيْ مَاذَا تَأْمُرِيْنَ ٣٣
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Kita adalah orang-orang yang memiliki kekuatan dan (juga) memiliki keberanian yang sangat (dalam peperangan), dan keputusan berada ditanganmu: maka pertimbangkanlah apa yang akan kamu perintahkan".
EN Translation They answered: “We are endowed with power and with mighty prowess in war - but the command is thine; consider, then, what thou wouldst command.”
قَالَتْ اِنَّ الْمُلُوْكَ اِذَا دَخَلُوْا قَرْيَةً اَفْسَدُوْهَا وَجَعَلُوْٓا اَعِزَّةَ اَهْلِهَآ اَذِلَّةً ۚوَكَذٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُوْنَ ٣٤
ID Translation Dia berkata: "Sesungguhnya raja-raja apabila memasuki suatu negeri, niscaya mereka membinasakannya, dan menjadikan penduduknya yang mulia jadi hina; dan demikian pulalah yang akan mereka perbuat.
EN Translation Said she: “Verily, whenever kings enter a country they corrupt it, and turn the noblest of its people into the most abject. And this is the way they [always] behave?
وَاِنِّيْ مُرْسِلَةٌ اِلَيْهِمْ بِهَدِيَّةٍ فَنٰظِرَةٌ ۢبِمَ يَرْجِعُ الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ ٣٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya aku akan mengirim utusan kepada mereka dengan (membawa) hadiah, dan (aku akan) menunggu apa yang akan dibawa kembali oleh utusan-utusan itu".
EN Translation Hence, behold, I am going to send a gift to those [people], and await whatever [answer] the envoys bring back.”
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَ سُلَيْمٰنَ قَالَ اَتُمِدُّوْنَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَآ اٰتٰىنِ َۧ اللّٰهُ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّآ اٰتٰىكُمْۚ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُوْنَ ٣٦
ID Translation Maka tatkala utusan itu sampai kepada Sulaiman, Sulaiman berkata: "Apakah (patut) kamu menolong aku dengan harta? maka apa yang diberikan Allah kepadaku lebih baik daripada apa yang diberikan-Nya kepadamu; tetapi kamu merasa bangga dengan hadiahmu.
EN Translation Now when [the Queen’s messenger] came unto Solomon, he said: “Do you people mean to add to my wealth? But that which God has given me is [so much] better than all that He has given you! Nay, it is [only such as] you that would rejoice in this gift of yours!
اِرْجِعْ اِلَيْهِمْ فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّهُمْ بِجُنُوْدٍ لَّا قِبَلَ لَهُمْ بِهَا وَلَنُخْرِجَنَّهُمْ مِّنْهَآ اَذِلَّةً وَّهُمْ صَاغِرُوْنَ ٣٧
ID Translation Kembalilah kepada mereka sungguh kami akan mendatangi mereka dengan balatentara yang mereka tidak kuasa melawannya, dan pasti kami akan mengusir mereka dari negeri itu (Saba) dengan terhina dan mereka menjadi (tawanan-tawanan) yang hina dina".
EN Translation “Go thou back unto them [that have sent thee]! For, [God says:] ‘We shall most certainly come upon them with forces which they will never be able to withstand, and shall most certainly cause them to be driven from that [land of theirs], despicable and humbled!’”
قَالَ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمَلَؤُا اَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِيْنِيْ بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ اَنْ يَّأْتُوْنِيْ مُسْلِمِيْنَ ٣٨
ID Translation Berkata Sulaiman: "Hai pembesar-pembesar, siapakah di antara kamu sekalian yang sanggup membawa singgasananya kepadaku sebelum mereka datang kepadaku sebagai orang-orang yang berserah diri".
EN Translation [When Solomon learned that the Queen of Sheba was coming,] he said [to his council]: “O you nobles! Which of you can bring me her throne ere she and her followers come unto me in willing surrender to God?”
قَالَ عِفْرِيْتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ اَنَا۠ اٰتِيْكَ بِهٖ قَبْلَ اَنْ تَقُوْمَ مِنْ مَّقَامِكَۚ وَاِنِّيْ عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ اَمِيْنٌ ٣٩
ID Translation Berkata 'Ifrit (yang cerdik) dari golongan jin: "Aku akan datang kepadamu dengan membawa singgsana itu kepadamu sebelum kamu berdiri dari tempat dudukmu; sesungguhnya aku benar-benar kuat untuk membawanya lagi dapat dipercaya".
EN Translation Said a bold one of the invisible beings [subject to Solomon]: “I shall bring it to thee ere thou rise from thy council-seat - for, behold, I am powerful enough to do it, [and] worthy of trust!”
قَالَ الَّذِيْ عِنْدَهٗ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتٰبِ اَنَا۠ اٰتِيْكَ بِهٖ قَبْلَ اَنْ يَّرْتَدَّ اِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَۗ فَلَمَّا رَاٰهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِنْدَهٗ قَالَ هٰذَا مِنْ فَضْلِ رَبِّيْۗ لِيَبْلُوَنِيْٓ ءَاَشْكُرُ اَمْ اَكْفُرُۗ وَمَنْ شَكَرَ فَاِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهٖۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاِنَّ رَبِّيْ غَنِيٌّ كَرِيْمٌ ٤٠
ID Translation Berkatalah seorang yang mempunyai ilmu dari Al Kitab: "Aku akan membawa singgasana itu kepadamu sebelum matamu berkedip". Maka tatkala Sulaiman melihat singgasana itu terletak di hadapannya, iapun berkata: "Ini termasuk kurnia Tuhanku untuk mencoba aku apakah aku bersyukur atau mengingkari (akan nikmat-Nya). Dan barangsiapa yang bersyukur maka sesungguhnya dia bersyukur untuk (kebaikan) dirinya sendiri dan barangsiapa yang ingkar, maka sesungguhnya Tuhanku Maha Kaya lagi Maha Mulia".
EN Translation Answered he who was illumined by revelation: “[Nay,] as for me - I shall bring it to thee ere the twinkling of thy eye ceases!” And when he saw it truly before him, he exclaimed: “This is [an outcome] of my Sustainer’s bounty, to test me as to whether I am grateful or ungrateful! However, he who is grateful [to God] is but grateful for his own good; and he who is ungrateful [should know that], verily, my Sustainer is self-sufficient, most generous in giving!”
قَالَ نَكِّرُوْا لَهَا عَرْشَهَا نَنْظُرْ اَتَهْتَدِيْٓ اَمْ تَكُوْنُ مِنَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَهْتَدُوْنَ ٤١
ID Translation Dia berkata: "Rubahlah baginya singgasananya; maka kita akan melihat apakah dia mengenal ataukah dia termasuk orang-orang yang tidak mengenal(nya)".
EN Translation [And] he continued: Alter her throne so that she may not know it as hers: let us see whether she allows herself to be guided [to the truth] or remains one of those who will not be guided.”
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتْ قِيْلَ اَهٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِۗ قَالَتْ كَاَنَّهٗ هُوَۚ وَاُوْتِيْنَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِيْنَ ٤٢
ID Translation Dan ketika Balqis datang, ditanyakanlah kepadanya: "Serupa inikah singgasanamu?" Dia menjawab: "Seakan-akan singgasana ini singgasanaku, kami telah diberi pengetahuan sebelumnya dan kami adalah orang-orang yang berserah diri".
EN Translation And so, as soon as she arrived, she was asked: “Is thy throne like this?” She answered: “It is as though it were the same!” [And Solomon said to his nobles: “She has arrived at the truth without any help from us,] although it is we who have been given [divine] knowledge before her, and have [long ago] surrendered ourselves unto God!
وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَتْ تَّعْبُدُ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ كٰفِرِيْنَ ٤٣
ID Translation Dan apa yang disembahnya selama ini selain Allah, mencegahnya (untuk melahirkan keislamannya), karena sesungguhnya dia dahulunya termasuk orang-orang yang kafir.
EN Translation [And she has recognized the truth] although that which she has been wont to worship instead of God had kept her away [from the right path]: for, behold, she is descended of people who deny the truth!”
قِيْلَ لَهَا ادْخُلِى الصَّرْحَۚ فَلَمَّا رَاَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةً وَّكَشَفَتْ عَنْ سَاقَيْهَاۗ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ صَرْحٌ مُّمَرَّدٌ مِّنْ قَوَارِيْرَ ەۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ اِنِّيْ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ وَاَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمٰنَ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٤٤
ID Translation Dikatakan kepadanya: "Masuklah ke dalam istana". Maka tatkala dia melihat lantai istana itu, dikiranya kolam air yang besar, dan disingkapkannya kedua betisnya. Berkatalah Sulaiman: "Sesungguhnya ia adalah istana licin terbuat dari kaca". Berkatalah Balqis: "Ya Tuhanku, sesungguhnya aku telah berbuat zalim terhadap diriku dan aku berserah diri bersama Sulaiman kepada Allah, Tuhan semesta alam".
EN Translation [After a while] she was told: “Enter this court!” - but when she saw it, she thought that it was a fathomless expanse of water, and she bared her legs. Said he: “Behold, it is [but] a court smoothly paved with glass!” Cried she: “O my Sustainer! I have been sinning against myself thy worshipping aught but Thee]: but [now] I have surrendered myself, with Solomon, unto the Sustainer of all the worlds!”
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلٰى ثَمُوْدَ اَخَاهُمْ صٰلِحًا اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ فَاِذَا هُمْ فَرِيْقٰنِ يَخْتَصِمُوْنَ ٤٥
ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mengutus kepada (kaum) Tsamud saudara mereka Shaleh (yang berseru): "Sembahlah Allah". Tetapi tiba-tiba mereka (jadi) dua golongan yang bermusuhan.
EN Translation AND [likewise], indeed, We sent unto [the tribe of] Thamud their brother Salih [with this message]: “Worship God alone!” and, behold, they were [split into] two factions contending with one another.
قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُوْنَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِۚ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ ٤٦
ID Translation Dia berkata: "Hai kaumku mengapa kamu minta disegerakan keburukan sebelum (kamu minta) kebaikan? Hendaklah kamu meminta ampun kepada Allah, agar kamu mendapat rahmat".
EN Translation Said [Salih to the erring ones]: Why do you seek to hasten the coming upon you of evil instead of hoping for the good?” Why do you not, rather, ask God to forgive you your sins, so that you might be graced with His mercy?”
قَالُوا اطَّيَّرْنَا بِكَ وَبِمَنْ مَّعَكَۗ قَالَ طٰۤىِٕرُكُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ بَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ تُفْتَنُوْنَ ٤٧
ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Kami mendapat nasib yang malang, disebabkan kamu dan orang-orang yang besertamu". Shaleh berkata: "Nasibmu ada pada sisi Allah, (bukan kami yang menjadi sebab), tetapi kamu kaum yang diuji".
EN Translation They answered: “We augur evil from thee and those that follow thee!” Said he: “Your destiny, good or evil, rests with God yea, you are people undergoing a test!”
وَكَانَ فِى الْمَدِيْنَةِ تِسْعَةُ رَهْطٍ يُّفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُوْنَ ٤٨
ID Translation Dan adalah di kota itu sembilan orang laki-laki yang membuat kerusakan di muka bumi, dan mereka tidak berbuat kebaikan.
EN Translation Now there were in the city nine men who were wont to commit deeds of depravity all over the land, and would not reform;
قَالُوْا تَقَاسَمُوْا بِاللّٰهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهٗ وَاَهْلَهٗ ثُمَّ لَنَقُوْلَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهٖ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ اَهْلِهٖ وَاِنَّا لَصٰدِقُوْنَ ٤٩
ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Bersumpahlah kamu dengan nama Allah, bahwa kita sungguh-sungguh akan menyerangnya dengan tiba-tiba beserta keluarganya di malam hari, kemudian kita katakan kepada warisnya (bahwa) kita tidak menyaksikan kematian keluarganya itu, dan sesungguhnya kita adalah orang-orang yang benar".
EN Translation [and] after having bound one another by an oath in God’s name, they said: “Indeed, we shall suddenly fall upon him and his household by night [and slay them all]; and then we shall boldly say to his next of kin, ‘We did not witness the destruction of his household - and, behold, we are indeed men of truth!’”
وَمَكَرُوْا مَكْرًا وَّمَكَرْنَا مَكْرًا وَّهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ٥٠
ID Translation Dan merekapun merencanakan makar dengan sungguh-sungguh dan Kami merencanakan makar (pula), sedang mereka tidak menyadari.
EN Translation And so they devised an evil scheme; but We devised a subtle scheme (of Our own), and they perceived it not.
فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ مَكْرِهِمْ اَنَّا دَمَّرْنٰهُمْ وَقَوْمَهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ٥١
ID Translation Maka perhatikanlah betapa sesungguhnya akibat makar mereka itu, bahwasanya Kami membinasakan mereka dan kaum mereka semuanya.
EN Translation Behold, then, what all their scheming came to in the end: We utterly destroyed them and their people, all of them;
فَتِلْكَ بُيُوْتُهُمْ خَاوِيَةً ۢبِمَا ظَلَمُوْاۗ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ ٥٢
ID Translation Maka itulah rumah-rumah mereka dalam keadaan runtuh disebabkan kezaliman mereka. Sesungguhnya pada yang demikian itu (terdapat) pelajaran bagi kaum yang mengetahui.
EN Translation and [now] those dwellings of theirs are empty, [ruined] as an outcome of their evil deeds. In this, behold, there is a message indeed for people of [innate] knowledge –
وَاَنْجَيْنَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَكَانُوْا يَتَّقُوْنَ ٥٣
ID Translation Dan telah Kami selamatkan orang-orang yang beriman dan mereka itu selalu bertakwa.
EN Translation seeing that We saved those who had attained to faith and were conscious of Us,
وَلُوْطًا اِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهٖٓ اَتَأْتُوْنَ الْفَاحِشَةَ وَاَنْتُمْ تُبْصِرُوْنَ ٥٤
ID Translation Dan (ingatlah kisah) Luth, ketika dia berkata kepada kaumnya: "Mengapa kamu mengerjakan perbuatan fahisyah itu sedang kamu memperlihatkan(nya)?"
EN Translation AND [thus, too, did We save] Lot, when he said unto his people: “Would you commit this abomination with your eyes open (to its being against all nature)?
اَىِٕنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُوْنَ الرِّجَالَ شَهْوَةً مِّنْ دُوْنِ النِّسَاۤءِ ۗبَلْ اَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُوْنَ ٥٥
ID Translation "Mengapa kamu mendatangi laki-laki untuk (memenuhi) nafsu(mu), bukan (mendatangi) wanita? Sebenarnya kamu adalah kaum yang tidak mengetahui (akibat perbuatanmu)".
EN Translation Must you really approach men with lust instead of women? Nay, but you are people without any awareness (of right and wrong)!”
