بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ ١

ID Translation Dengan menyebut nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace:

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ ٢

ID Translation Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan semesta alam.

EN Translation All praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds,

الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِۙ ٣

ID Translation Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation The Most Gracious, the Dispenser of Grace,

مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِۗ ٤

ID Translation Yang menguasai di Hari Pembalasan.

EN Translation Lord of the Day of Judgment!

اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُۗ ٥

ID Translation Hanya Engkaulah yang kami sembah, dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami meminta pertolongan.

EN Translation Thee alone do we worship; and unto Thee alone do we turn for aid.

اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ ۙ ٦

ID Translation Tunjukilah kami jalan yang lurus,

EN Translation Guide us the straight way.

صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ەۙ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّاۤلِّيْنَ ٧

ID Translation (yaitu) Jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri nikmat kepada mereka; bukan (jalan) mereka yang dimurkai dan bukan (pula jalan) mereka yang sesat.

EN Translation The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee], nor of those who go astray!

الۤمّۤ ۚ ١

ID Translation Alif laam miim.

EN Translation Alif. Lam. Mim.

ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيْهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَۙ ٢

ID Translation Kitab (Al Quran) ini tidak ada keraguan padanya; petunjuk bagi mereka yang bertakwa,

EN Translation THIS DIVINE WRIT - let there be no doubt about it is [meant to be] a guidance for all the God-conscious.

الَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنٰهُمْ يُنْفِقُوْنَ ۙ ٣

ID Translation (yaitu) mereka yang beriman kepada yang ghaib, yang mendirikan shalat, dan menafkahkan sebahagian rezeki yang Kami anugerahkan kepada mereka.

EN Translation Who believe in [the existence of] that which is beyond the reach of human perception, and are constant in prayer, and spend on others out of what We provide for them as sustenance;

وَالَّذِيْنَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ وَبِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَۗ ٤

ID Translation dan mereka yang beriman kepada Kitab (Al Quran) yang telah diturunkan kepadamu dan Kitab-kitab yang telah diturunkan sebelummu, serta mereka yakin akan adanya (kehidupan) akhirat.

EN Translation And who believe in that which has been bestowed from on high upon thee, [O Prophet,] as well as in that which was bestowed before thy time: for it is they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come!

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ عَلٰى هُدًى مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۙ وَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ٥

ID Translation Mereka itulah yang tetap mendapat petunjuk dari Tuhan mereka, dan merekalah orang-orang yang beruntung.

EN Translation It is they who follow the guidance [which comes from their Sustainer; and it is they, they who' shall attain to a happy state!

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَاَنْذَرْتَهُمْ اَمْ لَمْ تُنْذِرْهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang kafir, sama saja bagi mereka, kamu beri peringatan atau tidak kamu beri peringatan, mereka tidak juga akan beriman.

EN Translation BEHOLD, as for those who are bent on denying the truth - it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe.

خَتَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى قُلُوْبِهِمْ وَعَلٰى سَمْعِهِمْ ۗ وَعَلٰٓى اَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ ٧

ID Translation Allah telah mengunci-mati hati dan pendengaran mereka, dan penglihatan mereka ditutup. Dan bagi mereka siksa yang amat berat.

EN Translation God; has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and over their eyes is a veil; and awesome suffering awaits them.

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّقُوْلُ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَبِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَمَا هُمْ بِمُؤْمِنِيْنَۘ ٨

ID Translation Di antara manusia ada yang mengatakan: "Kami beriman kepada Allah dan Hari kemudian," pada hal mereka itu sesungguhnya bukan orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation And there are people who say, "We do believe in God and the Last Day," the while they do not [really] believe.

يُخٰدِعُوْنَ اللّٰهَ وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا ۚ وَمَا يَخْدَعُوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُوْنَۗ ٩

ID Translation Mereka hendak menipu Allah dan orang-orang yang beriman, padahal mereka hanya menipu dirinya sendiri sedang mereka tidak sadar.

EN Translation They would deceive God and those who have attained to faith-the while they deceive none but themselves, and perceive it not.

فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌۙ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّٰهُ مَرَضًاۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ۢ ەۙ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْذِبُوْنَ ١٠

ID Translation Dalam hati mereka ada penyakit, lalu ditambah Allah penyakitnya; dan bagi mereka siksa yang pedih, disebabkan mereka berdusta.

EN Translation In their hearts is disease, and so God lets their disease increase; and grievous suffering awaits them because of their persistent lying.

وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِۙ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُوْنَ ١١

ID Translation Dan bila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Janganlah kamu membuat kerusakan di muka bumi". Mereka menjawab: "Sesungguhnya kami orang-orang yang mengadakan perbaikan".

EN Translation And when they are told, "Do not spread corruption on earth," they answer, "We are but improving things!"

اَلَآ اِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُوْنَ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا يَشْعُرُوْنَ ١٢

ID Translation Ingatlah, sesungguhnya mereka itulah orang-orang yang membuat kerusakan, tetapi mereka tidak sadar.

EN Translation Oh, verily, it is they, they who are spreading corruption but they perceive it not?

وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ اٰمِنُوْا كَمَآ اٰمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوْٓا اَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَآ اٰمَنَ السُّفَهَاۤءُ ۗ اَلَآ اِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاۤءُ وَلٰكِنْ لَّا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٣

ID Translation Apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Berimanlah kamu sebagaimana orang-orang lain telah beriman". Mereka menjawab: "Akan berimankah kami sebagaimana orang-orang yang bodoh itu telah beriman?" Ingatlah, sesungguhnya merekalah orang-orang yang bodoh; tetapi mereka tidak tahu.

EN Translation And when they are told, "Believe as other people believe," they answer, "Shall we believe as the weak-minded believe?" Oh, verily, it is they, they who are weak-minded -but they know it not!

وَاِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّا ۚ وَاِذَا خَلَوْا اِلٰى شَيٰطِيْنِهِمْ ۙ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا مَعَكُمْ ۙاِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ١٤

ID Translation Dan bila mereka berjumpa dengan orang-orang yang beriman, mereka mengatakan: "Kami telah beriman". Dan bila mereka kembali kepada syaitan-syaitan mereka, mereka mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya kami sependirian dengan kamu, kami hanyalah berolok-olok".

EN Translation And when they meet those who have attained to faith, they assert, "We believe [as you believe]"; but when they find themselves alone with their- evil impulses, they say, "Verily, we are with you; we were only mocking!"

اَللّٰهُ يَسْتَهْزِئُ بِهِمْ وَيَمُدُّهُمْ فِيْ طُغْيَانِهِمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ ١٥

ID Translation Allah akan (membalas) olok-olokan mereka dan membiarkan mereka terombang-ambing dalam kesesatan mereka.

EN Translation God will requite them for their mockery, and will leave them for a while in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro:

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الضَّلٰلَةَ بِالْهُدٰىۖ فَمَا رَبِحَتْ تِّجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوْا مُهْتَدِيْنَ ١٦

ID Translation Mereka itulah orang yang membeli kesesatan dengan petunjuk, maka tidaklah beruntung perniagaan mereka dan tidaklah mereka mendapat petunjuk.

EN Translation [for] it is they who have taken error in exchange for guidance; and neither has their bargain brought them gain, nor have they found guidance [elsewhere].

مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ الَّذِى اسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا ۚ فَلَمَّآ اَضَاۤءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهٗ ذَهَبَ اللّٰهُ بِنُوْرِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِيْ ظُلُمٰتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُوْنَ ١٧

ID Translation Perumpamaan mereka adalah seperti orang yang menyalakan api, maka setelah api itu menerangi sekelilingnya Allah hilangkan cahaya (yang menyinari) mereka, dan membiarkan mereka dalam kegelapan, tidak dapat melihat.

EN Translation Their parable is that of people who kindle a fire: but as soon as it has illumined all around them, God takes away their light and leaves them in utter darkness, wherein they cannot see:

صُمٌّ ۢ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُوْنَۙ ١٨

ID Translation Mereka tuli, bisu dan buta, maka tidaklah mereka akan kembali (ke jalan yang benar),

EN Translation Deaf, dumb, blind - and they cannot turn back.

اَوْ كَصَيِّبٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ فِيْهِ ظُلُمٰتٌ وَّرَعْدٌ وَّبَرْقٌۚ يَجْعَلُوْنَ اَصَابِعَهُمْ فِيْٓ اٰذَانِهِمْ مِّنَ الصَّوَاعِقِ حَذَرَ الْمَوْتِۗ وَاللّٰهُ مُحِيْطٌۢ بِالْكٰفِرِيْنَ ١٩

ID Translation atau seperti (orang-orang yang ditimpa) hujan lebat dari langit disertai gelap gulita, guruh dan kilat; mereka menyumbat telinganya dengan anak jarinya, karena (mendengar suara) petir, sebab takut akan mati. Dan Allah meliputi orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation Or [the parable] of a violent cloudburst in the sky, with utter darkness, thunder and lightning: they put their fingers into their ears to keep out the peals of thunder, in terror of death; but God encompasses [with His might] all who deny the truth.

يَكَادُ الْبَرْقُ يَخْطَفُ اَبْصَارَهُمْ ۗ كُلَّمَآ اَضَاۤءَ لَهُمْ مَّشَوْا فِيْهِ ۙ وَاِذَآ اَظْلَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ قَامُوْا ۗوَلَوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَذَهَبَ بِسَمْعِهِمْ وَاَبْصَارِهِمْ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ٢٠

ID Translation Hampir-hampir kilat itu menyambar penglihatan mereka. Setiap kali kilat itu menyinari mereka, mereka berjalan di bawah sinar itu, dan bila gelap menimpa mereka, mereka berhenti. Jikalau Allah menghendaki, niscaya Dia melenyapkan pendengaran dan penglihatan mereka. Sesungguhnya Allah berkuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation The lightning well-nigh takes away their sight; whenever it gives them light, they advance therein, and whenever darkness falls around them, they stand still. And if God so willed, He could indeed take away their hearing and their sight: for, verily, God has the power to will anything.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَۙ ٢١

ID Translation Hai manusia, sembahlah Tuhanmu yang telah menciptakanmu dan orang-orang yang sebelummu, agar kamu bertakwa,

EN Translation O MANKIND! Worship your Sustainer, who has created you and those who lived before you, so that you might remain conscious of Him

الَّذِيْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ فِرَاشًا وَّالسَّمَاۤءَ بِنَاۤءً ۖوَّاَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءً فَاَخْرَجَ بِهٖ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ ۚ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوْا لِلّٰهِ اَنْدَادًا وَّاَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٢٢

ID Translation Dialah yang menjadikan bumi sebagai hamparan bagimu dan langit sebagai atap, dan Dia menurunkan air (hujan) dari langit, lalu Dia menghasilkan dengan hujan itu segala buah-buahan sebagai rezeki untukmu; karena itu janganlah kamu mengadakan sekutu-sekutu bagi Allah, padahal kamu mengetahui.

EN Translation who has made the earth a resting-place for you and the sky a canopy, and has sent down water from the sky and thereby brought forth fruits for your sustenance: do not, then, claim that there is any power that could rival God, when you know [that He is One].

وَاِنْ كُنْتُمْ فِيْ رَيْبٍ مِّمَّا نَزَّلْنَا عَلٰى عَبْدِنَا فَأْتُوْا بِسُوْرَةٍ مِّنْ مِّثْلِهٖ ۖ وَادْعُوْا شُهَدَاۤءَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٢٣

ID Translation Dan jika kamu (tetap) dalam keraguan tentang Al Quran yang Kami wahyukan kepada hamba Kami (Muhammad), buatlah satu surat (saja) yang semisal Al Quran itu dan ajaklah penolong-penolongmu selain Allah, jika kamu orang-orang yang benar.

EN Translation And if you doubt any part of what We have, bestowed from on high, step by step, upon Our servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah of similar merit, and call upon any other than God to bear witness for you -if what you say is true!

فَاِنْ لَّمْ تَفْعَلُوْا وَلَنْ تَفْعَلُوْا فَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِيْ وَقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ ۖ اُعِدَّتْ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٢٤

ID Translation Maka jika kamu tidak dapat membuat(nya) -- dan pasti kamu tidak akan dapat membuat(nya), peliharalah dirimu dari neraka yang bahan bakarnya manusia dan batu, yang disediakan bagi orang-orang kafir.

EN Translation And if you cannot do it-and most certainly you cannot do it-then be conscious of the fire whose fuel is human beings and stones which awaits all who deny the truth!

وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ اَنَّ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِيْ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ ۗ كُلَّمَا رُزِقُوْا مِنْهَا مِنْ ثَمَرَةٍ رِّزْقًا ۙ قَالُوْا هٰذَا الَّذِيْ رُزِقْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَاُتُوْا بِهٖ مُتَشَابِهًا ۗوَلَهُمْ فِيْهَآ اَزْوَاجٌ مُّطَهَّرَةٌ وَّهُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٢٥

ID Translation Dan sampaikanlah berita gembira kepada mereka yang beriman dan berbuat baik, bahwa bagi mereka disediakan surga-surga yang mengalir sungai-sungai di dalamnya. Setiap mereka diberi rezeki buah-buahan dalam surga-surga itu, mereka mengatakan: "Inilah yang pernah diberikan kepada kami dahulu". Mereka diberi buah-buahan yang serupa dan untuk mereka di dalamnya ada isteri-isteri yang suci dan mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation But unto those who have attained to faith and do good works give the glad tiding that theirs shall be gardens through which running waters flow. Whenever they are granted fruits there from as their appointed sustenance, they will say, "It is this that in days of yore was granted to us as our sustenance!"-for they shall be given something that will recall that [past]. And there shall they have spouses pure, and there shall they abide.

۞ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيٖٓ اَنْ يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلًا مَّا بَعُوْضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا ۗ فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا فَيَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْ ۚ وَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فَيَقُوْلُوْنَ مَاذَآ اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلًا ۘ يُضِلُّ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا وَّيَهْدِيْ بِهٖ كَثِيْرًا ۗ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهٖٓ اِلَّا الْفٰسِقِيْنَۙ ٢٦

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Allah tiada segan membuat perumpamaan berupa nyamuk atau yang lebih rendah dari itu. Adapun orang-orang yang beriman, maka mereka yakin bahwa perumpamaan itu benar dari Tuhan mereka, tetapi mereka yang kafir mengatakan: "Apakah maksud Allah menjadikan ini untuk perumpamaan?". Dengan perumpamaan itu banyak orang yang disesatkan Allah, dan dengan perumpamaan itu (pula) banyak orang yang diberi-Nya petunjuk. Dan tidak ada yang disesatkan Allah kecuali orang-orang yang fasik,

EN Translation Behold, God does not disdain to propound a parable of a gnat, or of something [even] less than that. Now, as for those who have attained to faith, they know that it is the truth from their Sustainer - whereas those who are bent on denying the truth say, "What could God mean by this parable?" In this way does He cause many a one to go astray, just as He guides many a one aright: but none does He cause thereby to go astray save the iniquitous,

الَّذِيْنَ يَنْقُضُوْنَ عَهْدَ اللّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مِيْثَاقِهٖۖ وَيَقْطَعُوْنَ مَآ اَمَرَ اللّٰهُ بِهٖٓ اَنْ يُّوْصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُوْنَ فِى الْاَرْضِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ٢٧

ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang melanggar perjanjian Allah sesudah perjanjian itu teguh, dan memutuskan apa yang diperintahkan Allah (kepada mereka) untuk menghubungkannya dan membuat kerusakan di muka bumi. Mereka itulah orang-orang yang rugi.

EN Translation who break their bond with God after it has been established [in their nature], and cut asunder what God has bidden to be joined, and spread corruption on earth: these it is that shall be the losers.

كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَكُنْتُمْ اَمْوَاتًا فَاَحْيَاكُمْۚ ثُمَّ يُمِيْتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيْكُمْ ثُمَّ اِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُوْنَ ٢٨

ID Translation Mengapa kamu kafir kepada Allah, padahal kamu tadinya mati, lalu Allah menghidupkan kamu, kemudian kamu dimatikan dan dihidupkan-Nya kembali, kemudian kepada-Nya-lah kamu dikembalikan?

EN Translation How can you refuse to acknowledge God, seeing that you were lifeless and He gave you life, and that He will cause you to die and then will bring you again to life, whereupon unto Him you will be brought back?

هُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ لَكُمْ مَّا فِى الْاَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰٓى اِلَى السَّمَاۤءِ فَسَوّٰىهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ ۗ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيْمٌ ٢٩

ID Translation Dialah Allah, yang menjadikan segala yang ada di bumi untuk kamu dan Dia berkehendak (menciptakan) langit, lalu dijadikan-Nya tujuh langit. Dan Dia Maha Mengetahui segala sesuatu.

EN Translation He it is who has created for you all that is on earth, and has applied His design to the heavens and fashioned them into seven heavens; and He alone has full knowledge of everything.

وَاِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ ِانِّيْ جَاعِلٌ فِى الْاَرْضِ خَلِيْفَةً ۗ قَالُوْٓا اَتَجْعَلُ فِيْهَا مَنْ يُّفْسِدُ فِيْهَا وَيَسْفِكُ الدِّمَاۤءَۚ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۗ قَالَ اِنِّيْٓ اَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٣٠

ID Translation Ingatlah ketika Tuhanmu berfirman kepada para Malaikat: "Sesungguhnya Aku hendak menjadikan seorang khalifah di muka bumi". Mereka berkata: "Mengapa Engkau hendak menjadikan (khalifah) di bumi itu orang yang akan membuat kerusakan padanya dan menumpahkan darah, padahal kami senantiasa bertasbih dengan memuji Engkau dan mensucikan Engkau?" Tuhan berfirman: "Sesungguhnya Aku mengetahui apa yang tidak kamu ketahui".

EN Translation AND LO! Thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to establish upon earth one who shall inherit it." They said: "Wilt Thou place on it such as will spread corruption thereon and shed blood -whereas it is we who extol Thy limitless glory, and praise Thee, and hallow Thy name?" [God] answered: "Verily, I know that which you do not know."

وَعَلَّمَ اٰدَمَ الْاَسْمَاۤءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ فَقَالَ اَنْۢبِـُٔوْنِيْ بِاَسْمَاۤءِ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٣١

ID Translation Dan Dia mengajarkan kepada Adam nama-nama (benda-benda) seluruhnya, kemudian mengemukakannya kepada para Malaikat lalu berfirman: "Sebutkanlah kepada-Ku nama benda-benda itu jika kamu mamang benar orang-orang yang benar!"

EN Translation And He imparted unto Adam the names of all things; then He brought them within the ken of the angels and said: "Declare unto Me the names of these [things], if what you say is true."

قَالُوْا سُبْحٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَا ۗاِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَلِيْمُ الْحَكِيْمُ ٣٢

ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Maha Suci Engkau, tidak ada yang kami ketahui selain dari apa yang telah Engkau ajarkan kepada kami; sesungguhnya Engkaulah Yang Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana".

EN Translation They replied: "Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! No knowledge have we save that which Thou hast imparted unto us. Verily, Thou alone art all-knowing, truly wise."

قَالَ يٰٓاٰدَمُ اَنْۢبِئْهُمْ بِاَسْمَاۤىِٕهِمْ ۚ فَلَمَّآ اَنْۢبَاَهُمْ بِاَسْمَاۤىِٕهِمْۙ قَالَ اَلَمْ اَقُلْ لَّكُمْ اِنِّيْٓ اَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۙ وَاَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُوْنَ وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ ٣٣

ID Translation Allah berfirman: "Hai Adam, beritahukanlah kepada mereka nama-nama benda ini". Maka setelah diberitahukannya kepada mereka nama-nama benda itu, Allah berfirman: "Bukankah sudah Ku-katakan kepadamu, bahwa sesungguhnya Aku mengetahui rahasia langit dan bumi dan mengetahui apa yang kamu lahirkan dan apa yang kamu sembunyikan?"

EN Translation Said He: "O Adam, convey unto them the names of these [things]." And as soon as [Adam] had conveyed unto them their names, [God] said: "Did I not say unto you, `Verily, I alone know the hidden reality of the heavens and the earth, and know all that you bring into the open and all. that you would conceal'?"

وَاِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ اسْجُدُوْا لِاٰدَمَ فَسَجَدُوْٓا اِلَّآ اِبْلِيْسَۗ اَبٰى وَاسْتَكْبَرَۖ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٣٤

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Kami berfirman kepada para malaikat: "Sujudlah kamu kepada Adam," maka sujudlah mereka kecuali Iblis; ia enggan dan takabur dan adalah ia termasuk golongan orang-orang yang kafir.

EN Translation And when We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves before Adam!" -they all prostrated themselves, save Iblis, who refused and gloried in his arrogance: and thus he became one of those who deny the truth.

وَقُلْنَا يٰٓاٰدَمُ اسْكُنْ اَنْتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَاۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُوْنَا مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٣٥

ID Translation Dan Kami berfirman: "Hai Adam, diamilah oleh kamu dan isterimu surga ini, dan makanlah makanan-makanannya yang banyak lagi baik dimana saja yang kamu sukai, dan janganlah kamu dekati pohon ini, yang menyebabkan kamu termasuk orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation And We said: "O Adam, dwell thou and thy wife in this garden, and eat freely thereof, both of you, whatever you may wish; but do not approach this one tree, lest you become wrongdoers."

فَاَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطٰنُ عَنْهَا فَاَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيْهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا اهْبِطُوْا بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۚ وَلَكُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمَتَاعٌ اِلٰى حِيْنٍ ٣٦

ID Translation Lalu keduanya digelincirkan oleh syaitan dari surga itu dan dikeluarkan dari keadaan semula dan Kami berfirman: "Turunlah kamu! sebagian kamu menjadi musuh bagi yang lain, dan bagi kamu ada tempat kediaman di bumi, dan kesenangan hidup sampai waktu yang ditentukan".

EN Translation But Satan caused them both to stumble therein, and thus brought about the loss of their erstwhile state. And so We said: "Down with you, [and be henceforth] enemies unto one another; and on earth you shall have your abode and your livelihood for a while!"

فَتَلَقّٰٓى اٰدَمُ مِنْ رَّبِّهٖ كَلِمٰتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ٣٧

ID Translation Kemudian Adam menerima beberapa kalimat dari Tuhannya, maka Allah menerima taubatnya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation Thereupon Adam received words [of guidance] from his Sustainer, and He accepted his repentance: for, verily, He alone is the-Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace.

قُلْنَا اهْبِطُوْا مِنْهَا جَمِيْعًا ۚ فَاِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِّنِّيْ هُدًى فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ ٣٨

ID Translation Kami berfirman: "Turunlah kamu semuanya dari surga itu! Kemudian jika datang petunjuk-Ku kepadamu, maka barang siapa yang mengikuti petunjuk-Ku, niscaya tidak ada kekhawatiran atas mereka, dan tidak (pula) mereka bersedih hati".

EN Translation [For although] We did say, "Down with you all from this [state]," there shall, none the less, most certainly come unto you guidance from Me: and those who follow My guidance need have no fear, and neither shall they grieve;

وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَآ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٣٩

ID Translation Adapun orang-orang yang kafir dan mendustakan ayat-ayat Kami, mereka itu penghuni neraka; mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation but those who are bent on denying the truth and giving the lie to Our messages - they are destined for the fire, and therein shall they abide.

يٰبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاَوْفُوْا بِعَهْدِيْٓ اُوْفِ بِعَهْدِكُمْۚ وَاِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُوْنِ ٤٠

ID Translation Hai Bani Israil, ingatlah akan nikmat-Ku yang telah Aku anugerahkan kepadamu, dan penuhilah janjimu kepada-Ku, niscaya Aku penuhi janji-Ku kepadamu; dan hanya kepada-Ku-lah kamu harus takut (tunduk).

EN Translation O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and fulfil your promise unto Me, [whereupon] I shall fulfil My promise unto you; and of Me, of Me stand in awe!

وَاٰمِنُوْا بِمَآ اَنْزَلْتُ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْٓا اَوَّلَ كَافِرٍۢ بِهٖ ۖ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِيْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۖوَّاِيَّايَ فَاتَّقُوْنِ ٤١

ID Translation Dan berimanlah kamu kepada apa yang telah Aku turunkan (Al Quran) yang membenarkan apa yang ada padamu (Taurat), dan janganlah kamu menjadi orang yang pertama kafir kepadanya, dan janganlah kamu menukarkan ayat-ayat-Ku dengan harga yang rendah, dan hanya kepada Akulah kamu harus bertakwa.

EN Translation Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious

وَلَا تَلْبِسُوا الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُوا الْحَقَّ وَاَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٤٢

ID Translation Dan janganlah kamu campur adukkan yang hak dengan yang bathil dan janganlah kamu sembunyikan yang hak itu, sedang kamu mengetahui.

EN Translation And do not overlay the truth with falsehood, and do not knowingly suppress the truth;

وَاَقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ وَارْكَعُوْا مَعَ الرَّاكِعِيْنَ ٤٣

ID Translation Dan dirikanlah shalat, tunaikanlah zakat dan ruku'lah beserta orang-orang yang ruku'.

EN Translation and be constant in prayer, and spend in charity, and bow down in prayer with all who thus bow down.

۞ اَتَأْمُرُوْنَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنْسَوْنَ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَاَنْتُمْ تَتْلُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ ۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ٤٤

ID Translation Mengapa kamu suruh orang lain (mengerjakan) kebaktian, sedang kamu melupakan diri (kewajiban)mu sendiri, padahal kamu membaca Al Kitab (Taurat)? Maka tidaklah kamu berpikir?

EN Translation Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves -and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?;

وَاسْتَعِيْنُوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ ۗ وَاِنَّهَا لَكَبِيْرَةٌ اِلَّا عَلَى الْخٰشِعِيْنَۙ ٤٥

ID Translation Jadikanlah sabar dan shalat sebagai penolongmu. Dan sesungguhnya yang demikian itu sungguh berat, kecuali bagi orang-orang yang khusyu',

EN Translation And seek aid in steadfast patience and prayer: and this, indeed, is a hard thing for all but the humble in spirit,

الَّذِيْنَ يَظُنُّوْنَ اَنَّهُمْ مُّلٰقُوْا رَبِّهِمْ وَاَنَّهُمْ اِلَيْهِ رٰجِعُوْنَ ٤٦

ID Translation (yaitu) orang-orang yang meyakini, bahwa mereka akan menemui Tuhannya, dan bahwa mereka akan kembali kepada-Nya.

EN Translation who know with certainty that they shall meet their Sustainer and that unto Him they shall return.

يٰبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاَنِّيْ فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٤٧

ID Translation Hai Bani Israil, ingatlah akan nikmat-Ku yang telah Aku anugerahkan kepadamu dan (ingatlah pula) bahwasanya Aku telah melebihkan kamu atas segala umat.

EN Translation O children of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and how I favoured you above all other people;

وَاتَّقُوْا يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِيْ نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَّفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَّلَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَّلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ٤٨

ID Translation Dan jagalah dirimu dari (azab) hari (kiamat, yang pada hari itu) seseorang tidak dapat membela orang lain, walau sedikitpun; dan (begitu pula) tidak diterima syafa'at dan tebusan dari padanya, dan tidaklah mereka akan ditolong.

EN Translation and remain conscious of [the coming of] a Day when no human being shall in the least avail another, nor shall intercession be accepted from any of them, nor ransom taken from them, and none shall be succoured.

وَاِذْ نَجَّيْنٰكُمْ مِّنْ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُوْمُوْنَكُمْ سُوْۤءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُوْنَ اَبْنَاۤءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُوْنَ نِسَاۤءَكُمْ ۗ وَفِيْ ذٰلِكُمْ بَلَاۤءٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ عَظِيْمٌ ٤٩

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Kami selamatkan kamu dari (Fir'aun) dan pengikut-pengikutnya; mereka menimpakan kepadamu siksaan yang seberat-beratnya, mereka menyembelih anak-anakmu yang laki-laki dan membiarkan hidup anak-anakmu yang perempuan. Dan pada yang demikian itu terdapat cobaan-cobaan yang besar dari Tuhanmu.

EN Translation And [remember the time] when We saved you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with cruel suffering, slaughtering your sons and sparing [only] your women - which was an awesome trial from your Sustainer;

وَاِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَاَنْجَيْنٰكُمْ وَاَغْرَقْنَآ اٰلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ ٥٠

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami belah laut untukmu, lalu Kami selamatkan kamu dan Kami tenggelamkan (Fir'aun) dan pengikut-pengikutnya sedang kamu sendiri menyaksikan.

EN Translation and when We cleft the sea before you, and thus saved you and caused Pharaoh's people to drown before your very eyes;

وَاِذْ وٰعَدْنَا مُوْسٰىٓ اَرْبَعِيْنَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ وَاَنْتُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ ٥١

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami berjanji kepada Musa (memberikan Taurat, sesudah) empat puluh malam, lalu kamu menjadikan anak lembu (sembahan) sepeninggalnya dan kamu adalah orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation and when We appointed for Moses forty nights [on Mount Sinai], and in his absence you took to worshipping the [golden] calf, and thus became evildoers:

ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنْكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ ٥٢

ID Translation Kemudian sesudah itu Kami maafkan kesalahanmu, agar kamu bersyukur.

EN Translation yet, even after that, We blotted out this your sin, so that you might have cause to be grateful.

وَاِذْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوْسَى الْكِتٰبَ وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُوْنَ ٥٣

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami berikan kepada Musa Al Kitab (Taurat) dan keterangan yang membedakan antara yang benar dan yang salah, agar kamu mendapat petunjuk.

EN Translation And [remember the time] when We vouchsafed unto Moses the divine writ-and [thus] a standard by which to discern the true from the false -so that you might be guided aright;

وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ يٰقَوْمِ اِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوْبُوْٓا اِلٰى بَارِىِٕكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوْٓا اَنْفُسَكُمْۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِىِٕكُمْۗ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۗ اِنَّهٗ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ٥٤

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: "Hai kaumku, sesungguhnya kamu telah menganiaya dirimu sendiri karena kamu telah menjadikan anak lembu (sembahanmu), maka bertaubatlah kepada Tuhan yang menjadikan kamu dan bunuhlah dirimu. Hal itu adalah lebih baik bagimu pada sisi Tuhan yang menjadikan kamu; maka Allah akan menerima taubatmu. Sesungguhnya Dialah Yang Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang".

EN Translation and when Moses said unto his people: "O my people! Verily, you have sinned against yourselves by worshipping the calf; turn, then. in repentance to your Maker and mortify yourselves; this will be the best for you in your Maker's sight". And thereupon He accepted your repentance: for, behold, He alone is the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace.

وَاِذْ قُلْتُمْ يٰمُوْسٰى لَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتّٰى نَرَى اللّٰهَ جَهْرَةً فَاَخَذَتْكُمُ الصّٰعِقَةُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُوْنَ ٥٥

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika kamu berkata: "Hai Musa, kami tidak akan beriman kepadamu sebelum kami melihat Allah dengan terang, karena itu kamu disambar halilintar, sedang kamu menyaksikannya".

EN Translation And [remember] when you said, "O Moses. indeed we shall not believe thee unto we see God face to face!" - whereupon the thunderbolt of punishment overtook you before your very eyes.

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنٰكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُوْنَ ٥٦

ID Translation Setelah itu Kami bangkitkan kamu sesudah kamu mati, supaya kamu bersyukur.

EN Translation But We raised you again after you had been as dead, so that you might have cause to be grateful.

وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ وَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوٰى ۗ كُلُوْا مِنْ طَيِّبٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ ۗ وَمَا ظَلَمُوْنَا وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ ٥٧

ID Translation Dan Kami naungi kamu dengan awan, dan Kami turunkan kepadamu "manna" dan "salwa". Makanlah dari makanan yang baik-baik yang telah Kami berikan kepadamu; dan tidaklah mereka menganiaya Kami; akan tetapi merekalah yang menganiaya diri mereka sendiri.

EN Translation And We caused the clouds to comfort you with their shade, and sent down unto you manna and quails. [saying,] "Partake of the good things which We have provided for you as sustenance." And [by all their sinning] they did no harm unto Us-but [only] against their own selves did they sin.

وَاِذْ قُلْنَا ادْخُلُوْا هٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ فَكُلُوْا مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ رَغَدًا وَّادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا وَّقُوْلُوْا حِطَّةٌ نَّغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطٰيٰكُمْ ۗ وَسَنَزِيْدُ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ ٥٨

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami berfirman: "Masuklah kamu ke negeri ini (Baitul Maqdis), dan makanlah dari hasil buminya, yang banyak lagi enak dimana yang kamu sukai, dan masukilah pintu gerbangnya sambil bersujud, dan katakanlah: "Bebaskanlah kami dari dosa", niscaya Kami ampuni kesalahan-kesalahanmu, dan kelak Kami akan menambah (pemberian Kami) kepada orang-orang yang berbuat baik".

EN Translation And [remember the time] when We said: "Enter this land, and eat of its food as you may desire. abundantly; but enter the gate humbly and say, `Remove Thou from us the burden of our sins', [whereupon] We shall forgive you your sins, and shall amply reward the doers of good."

فَبَدَّلَ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا قَوْلًا غَيْرَ الَّذِيْ قِيْلَ لَهُمْ فَاَنْزَلْنَا عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا رِجْزًا مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَفْسُقُوْنَ ٥٩

ID Translation Lalu orang-orang yang zalim mengganti perintah dengan (mengerjakan) yang tidak diperintahkan kepada mereka. Sebab itu Kami timpakan atas orang-orang yang zalim itu dari langit, karena mereka berbuat fasik.

EN Translation But those who were bent on evildoing substituted another saying for that which had been given them: and so We sent down upon those evildoers a plague from heaven in requital for all their iniquity.

۞ وَاِذِ اسْتَسْقٰى مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖ فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَاكَ الْحَجَرَۗ فَانْفَجَرَتْ مِنْهُ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ عَيْنًا ۗ قَدْ عَلِمَ كُلُّ اُنَاسٍ مَّشْرَبَهُمْ ۗ كُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ مُفْسِدِيْنَ ٦٠

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah) ketika Musa memohon air untuk kaumnya, lalu Kami berfirman: "Pukullah batu itu dengan tongkatmu". Lalu memancarlah daripadanya dua belas mata air. Sungguh tiap-tiap suku telah mengetahui tempat minumnya (masing-masing). Makan dan minumlah rezeki (yang diberikan) Allah, dan janganlah kamu berkeliaran di muka bumi dengan berbuat kerusakan.

EN Translation And [remember] when Moses prayed for water for his people and We replied, "Strike the rock with thy staff!"-whereupon twelve springs gushed forth from it, so that all the people knew whence to drink. [And Moses said:] "Eat and drink the sustenance provided by God, and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption."

وَاِذْ قُلْتُمْ يٰمُوْسٰى لَنْ نَّصْبِرَ عَلٰى طَعَامٍ وَّاحِدٍ فَادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُخْرِجْ لَنَا مِمَّا تُنْۢبِتُ الْاَرْضُ مِنْۢ بَقْلِهَا وَقِثَّاۤىِٕهَا وَفُوْمِهَا وَعَدَسِهَا وَبَصَلِهَا ۗ قَالَ اَتَسْتَبْدِلُوْنَ الَّذِيْ هُوَ اَدْنٰى بِالَّذِيْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ ۗ اِهْبِطُوْا مِصْرًا فَاِنَّ لَكُمْ مَّا سَاَلْتُمْ ۗ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ وَالْمَسْكَنَةُ وَبَاۤءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ ۗ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا يَكْفُرُوْنَ بِاٰيٰتِ اللّٰهِ وَيَقْتُلُوْنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ ۗ ذٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَّكَانُوْا يَعْتَدُوْنَ ٦١

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika kamu berkata: "Hai Musa, kami tidak bisa sabar (tahan) dengan satu macam makanan saja. Sebab itu mohonkanlah untuk kami kepada Tuhanmu, agar Dia mengeluarkan bagi kami dari apa yang ditumbuhkan bumi, yaitu sayur-mayurnya, ketimunnya, bawang putihnya, kacang adasnya, dan bawang merahnya". Musa berkata: "Maukah kamu mengambil yang rendah sebagai pengganti yang lebih baik? Pergilah kamu ke suatu kota, pasti kamu memperoleh apa yang kamu minta". Lalu ditimpahkanlah kepada mereka nista dan kehinaan, serta mereka mendapat kemurkaan dari Allah. Hal itu (terjadi) karena mereka selalu mengingkari ayat-ayat Allah dan membunuh para Nabi yang memang tidak dibenarkan. Demikian itu (terjadi) karena mereka selalu berbuat durhaka dan melampaui batas.

EN Translation And [remember] when you said: "O Moses, indeed we cannot endure but one kind of food; pray, then, to thy Sustainer that He bring forth for us aught of what grows from the earth - of its herbs, its cucumbers, its garlic, its lentils, its onions." Said [Moses]: "Would you take a lesser thing in exchange for what is [so much] better? Go back in shame to Egypt, and then you can have what you are asking for!" And so, ignominy and humiliation overshadowed them, and they earned the burden of God's condemnation: all this, because they persisted in denying the truth of God's messages and in slaying the prophets against all right: all this, because they rebelled [against God], and persisted in transgressing the bounds of what is right.

اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَالَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا وَالنَّصٰرٰى وَالصَّابِــِٕيْنَ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلَهُمْ اَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْۚ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ ٦٢

ID Translation Sesungguhnya orang-orang mukmin, orang-orang Yahudi, orang-orang Nasrani dan orang-orang Shabiin, siapa saja diantara mereka yang benar-benar beriman kepada Allah, hari kemudian dan beramal saleh, mereka akan menerima pahala dari Tuhan mereka, tidak ada kekhawatiran kepada mereka, dan tidak (pula) mereka bersedih hati.

EN Translation VERILY, those who have attained to faith [in this divine writ], as well as those who follow the Jewish faith, and the Christians, and the Sabians -all who believe in God and the Last Day and do righteous deeds-shall have their reward with their Sustainer; and no fear need they have, and neither shall they grieve.

وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّوْرَۗ خُذُوْا مَآ اٰتَيْنٰكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُوْا مَا فِيْهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ ٦٣

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari kamu dan Kami angkatkan gunung (Thursina) di atasmu (seraya Kami berfirman): "Peganglah teguh-teguh apa yang Kami berikan kepadamu dan ingatlah selalu apa yang ada didalamnya, agar kamu bertakwa".

EN Translation AND LO! We accepted your solemn pledge, raising Mount Sinai high above you, [and saying;] "Hold fast with [all your] strength unto what We have vouchsafed you, and bear in mind all that is therein, so that you might remain conscious of God!"

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهٗ لَكُنْتُمْ مِّنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ ٦٤

ID Translation Kemudian kamu berpaling setelah (adanya perjanjian) itu, maka kalau tidak ada karunia Allah dan rahmat-Nya atasmu, niscaya kamu tergolong orang yang rugi.

EN Translation And you turned away after that-! And had it not been for God's favour upon you and His grace, you would surely have found yourselves among the lost;

وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِيْنَ اعْتَدَوْا مِنْكُمْ فِى السَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُوْنُوْا قِرَدَةً خَاسِـِٕيْنَ ٦٥

ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya telah kamu ketahui orang-orang yang melanggar diantaramu pada hari Sabtu, lalu Kami berfirman kepada mereka: "Jadilah kamu kera yang hina".

EN Translation for you are well aware of those from among you who profaned the Sabbath, whereupon We said unto them, "Be as apes despicable!"

فَجَعَلْنٰهَا نَكَالًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهَا وَمَا خَلْفَهَا وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِيْنَ ٦٦

ID Translation Maka Kami jadikan yang demikian itu peringatan bagi orang-orang dimasa itu, dan bagi mereka yang datang kemudian, serta menjadi pelajaran bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa.

EN Translation and set them up as a warning example for their time and for all times to come, as well as an admonition to all who are conscious of God.

وَاِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِقَوْمِهٖٓ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ اَنْ تَذْبَحُوْا بَقَرَةً ۗ قَالُوْٓا اَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوًا ۗ قَالَ اَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ اَنْ اَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْجٰهِلِيْنَ ٦٧

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: "Sesungguhnya Allah menyuruh kamu menyembelih seekor sapi betina". Mereka berkata: "Apakah kamu hendak menjadikan kami buah ejekan?" Musa menjawab: "Aku berlindung kepada Allah agar tidak menjadi salah seorang dari orang-orang yang jahil".

EN Translation AND LO! Moses said unto his people: "Behold, God bids you to sacrifice a cow." They said: "Dost thou mock at us?" He answered: "I seek refuge with God against being so ignorant!"

قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَّنَا مَا هِيَ ۗ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوْلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا فَارِضٌ وَّلَا بِكْرٌۗ عَوَانٌۢ بَيْنَ ذٰلِكَ ۗ فَافْعَلُوْا مَا تُؤْمَرُوْنَ ٦٨

ID Translation Mereka menjawab: "Mohonkanlah kepada Tuhanmu untuk kami, agar Dia menerangkan kepada kami; sapi betina apakah itu". Musa menjawab: "Sesungguhnya Allah berfirman bahwa sapi betina itu adalah sapi betina yang tidak tua dan tidak muda; pertengahan antara itu; maka kerjakanlah apa yang diperintahkan kepadamu".

EN Translation Said they: "Pray on our behalf unto thy Sustainer that He make clear to us what she is to be like." [Moses] replied: "Behold, He says it is to be a cow neither old nor immature, but of art age in-between. Do, then, what you have been bidden!"

قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا ۗ قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوْلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ صَفْرَاۤءُ فَاقِعٌ لَّوْنُهَا تَسُرُّ النّٰظِرِيْنَ ٦٩

ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Mohonkanlah kepada Tuhanmu untuk kami agar Dia menerangkan kepada kami apa warnanya". Musa menjawab: "Sesungguhnya Allah berfirman bahwa sapi betina itu adalah sapi betina yang kuning, yang kuning tua warnanya, lagi menyenangkan orang-orang yang memandangnya".

EN Translation Said they: "Pray on our behalf unto thy Sustainer that He make clear to us what her colour should be. "[Mopes] answered: "Behold; He says it is to be a yellow cow, bright of hue, pleasing to the beholder."

قَالُوا ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّنْ لَّنَا مَا هِيَۙ اِنَّ الْبَقَرَ تَشٰبَهَ عَلَيْنَاۗ وَاِنَّآ اِنْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ لَمُهْتَدُوْنَ ٧٠

ID Translation Mereka berkata: "Mohonkanlah kepada Tuhanmu untuk kami agar Dia menerangkan kepada kami bagaimana hakikat sapi betina itu, karena sesungguhnya sapi itu (masih) samar bagi kami dan sesungguhnya kami insya Allah akan mendapat petunjuk (untuk memperoleh sapi itu)".

EN Translation Said' they: "Pray on our behalf unto thy Sustainer that He make clear to us what she is to be like, for to us all cows resemble one another; and then, if God so wills, we shall truly be guided aright!"

قَالَ اِنَّهٗ يَقُوْلُ اِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَّا ذَلُوْلٌ تُثِيْرُ الْاَرْضَ وَلَا تَسْقِى الْحَرْثَۚ مُسَلَّمَةٌ لَّاشِيَةَ فِيْهَا ۗ قَالُوا الْـٰٔنَ جِئْتَ بِالْحَقِّ فَذَبَحُوْهَا وَمَا كَادُوْا يَفْعَلُوْنَ ٧١

ID Translation Musa berkata: "Sesungguhnya Allah berfirman bahwa sapi betina itu adalah sapi betina yang belum pernah dipakai untuk membajak tanah dan tidak pula untuk mengairi tanaman, tidak bercacat, tidak ada belangnya". Mereka berkata: "Sekarang barulah kamu menerangkan hakikat sapi betina yang sebenarnya". Kemudian mereka menyembelihnya dan hampir saja mereka tidak melaksanakan perintah itu.

EN Translation [Moses] answered: "Behold, He says it is to be a cow not broken-in to plough the earth or to water the crops, free of fault, without markings of any other colour."Said they: "At last thou hast brought out the truth!"-and thereupon they sacrificed her, although they had almost left it undone.

وَاِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَادّٰرَءْتُمْ فِيْهَا ۗ وَاللّٰهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنْتُمْ تَكْتُمُوْنَ ۚ ٧٢

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika kamu membunuh seorang manusia lalu kamu saling tuduh menuduh tentang itu. Dan Allah hendak menyingkapkan apa yang selama ini kamu sembunyikan.

EN Translation For, O children of Israel, because you had slain a human being and then cast the blame for this [crime] upon one another -although God will bring to light what you would conceals

فَقُلْنَا اضْرِبُوْهُ بِبَعْضِهَاۗ كَذٰلِكَ يُحْيِ اللّٰهُ الْمَوْتٰى وَيُرِيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ ٧٣

ID Translation Lalu Kami berfirman: "Pukullah mayat itu dengan sebahagian anggota sapi betina itu!" Demikianlah Allah menghidupkan kembali orang-orang yang telah mati, dam memperlihatkan padamu tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya agar kamu mengerti.

EN Translation We said: "Apply this [principle] to some of those [cases of unresolved murder]: in this way God saves lives from death and shows you His will, so that you might [learn to] use your reason."

ثُمَّ قَسَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَهِيَ كَالْحِجَارَةِ اَوْ اَشَدُّ قَسْوَةً ۗ وَاِنَّ مِنَ الْحِجَارَةِ لَمَا يَتَفَجَّرُ مِنْهُ الْاَنْهٰرُ ۗ وَاِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَشَّقَّقُ فَيَخْرُجُ مِنْهُ الْمَاۤءُ ۗوَاِنَّ مِنْهَا لَمَا يَهْبِطُ مِنْ خَشْيَةِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٧٤

ID Translation Kemudian setelah itu hatimu menjadi keras seperti batu, bahkan lebih keras lagi. Padahal diantara batu-batu itu sungguh ada yang mengalir sungai-sungai dari padanya dan diantaranya sungguh ada yang terbelah lalu keluarlah mata air dari padanya dan diantaranya sungguh ada yang meluncur jatuh, karena takut kepada Allah. Dan Allah sekali-sekali tidak lengah dari apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation And yet, after all this, your hearts hardened and became like rocks, or even harder: for, behold, there are rocks from which streams gush forth; and, behold, there are some from which, when they are cleft, water issues; and, behold, there are some that fall down for awe of God And God is not unmindful of what you do!

۞ اَفَتَطْمَعُوْنَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا لَكُمْ وَقَدْ كَانَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَسْمَعُوْنَ كَلَامَ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ يُحَرِّفُوْنَهٗ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا عَقَلُوْهُ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُوْنَ ٧٥

ID Translation Apakah kamu masih mengharapkan mereka akan percaya kepadamu, padahal segolongan dari mereka mendengar firman Allah, lalu mereka mengubahnya setelah mereka memahaminya, sedang mereka mengetahui?.

EN Translation CAN YOU, then, hope that they will believe in what you are preaching - seeing that a good many of them were wont to listen to the word of God and then, after having understood it, to pervert it knowingly?

وَاِذَا لَقُوا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا قَالُوْٓا اٰمَنَّاۚ وَاِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ قَالُوْٓا اَتُحَدِّثُوْنَهُمْ بِمَا فَتَحَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَاۤجُّوْكُمْ بِهٖ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ ۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ ٧٦

ID Translation Dan apabila mereka berjumpa dengan orang-orang yang beriman, mereka berkata: "Kamipun telah beriman," tetapi apabila mereka berada sesama mereka saja, lalu mereka berkata: "Apakah kamu menceritakan kepada mereka (orang-orang mukmin) apa yang telah diterangkan Allah kepadamu, supaya dengan demikian mereka dapat mengalahkan hujjahmu di hadapan Tuhanmu; tidakkah kamu mengerti?"

EN Translation For, when they meet those who have attained to faith. they say, "We believe [as you believe]" - but when they find themselves alone with one another, they say. "Do you inform them of what God has disclosed to you, so that they might use it in argument against you, quoting the words of your Sustainer? Will you not. then, use your reason?"

اَوَلَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّوْنَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُوْنَ ٧٧

ID Translation Tidakkah mereka mengetahui bahwa Allah mengetahui segala yang mereka sembunyikan dan segala yang mereka nyatakan?

EN Translation Do they not know, then, that God is aware of all that they would conceal as well as of all that they bring into the open?

وَمِنْهُمْ اُمِّيُّوْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ اِلَّآ اَمَانِيَّ وَاِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا يَظُنُّوْنَ ٧٨

ID Translation Dan diantara mereka ada yang buta huruf, tidak mengetahui Al Kitab (Taurat), kecuali dongengan bohong belaka dan mereka hanya menduga-duga.

EN Translation And there are among them unlettered people who have no real knowledge of the divine writ, [following] only wishful beliefs and depending on nothing but conjecture.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ يَكْتُبُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ بِاَيْدِيْهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُوْلُوْنَ هٰذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ لِيَشْتَرُوْا بِهٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۗفَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا كَتَبَتْ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُوْنَ ٧٩

ID Translation Maka kecelakaan yAng besarlah bagi orang-orang yang menulis Al Kitab dengan tangan mereka sendiri, lalu dikatakannya; "Ini dari Allah", (dengan maksud) untuk memperoleh keuntungan yang sedikit dengan perbuatan itu. Maka kecelakaan yang besarlah bagi mereka, akibat apa yang ditulis oleh tangan mereka sendiri, dan kecelakaan yang besarlah bagi mereka, akibat apa yang mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation Woe, then, unto those who write down, with their own hands, [something which they claim to be] divine writ, and then say. "This is from God," in order to acquire a trifling gain thereby; woe, then, unto them for what their hands have written, and woe unto them for all that they may have gained!

وَقَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّآ اَيَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدَةً ۗ قُلْ اَتَّخَذْتُمْ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَهْدًا فَلَنْ يُّخْلِفَ اللّٰهُ عَهْدَهٗٓ اَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٨٠

ID Translation Dan mereka berkata: "Kami sekali-kali tidak akan disentuh oleh api neraka, kecuali selama beberapa hari saja". Katakanlah: "Sudahkah kamu menerima janji dari Allah sehingga Allah tidak akan memungkiri janji-Nya, ataukah kamu hanya mengatakan terhadap Allah apa yang tidak kamu ketahui?"

EN Translation And they say, "The fire will most certainly not touch us for more than a limited number of days." Say [unto them]: "Have you received a promise from God - for God never breaks His promise - or do you attribute to God something which you cannot know?"

بَلٰى مَنْ كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةً وَّاَحَاطَتْ بِهٖ خَطِيْۤـَٔتُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٨١

ID Translation (Bukan demikian), yang benar: barangsiapa berbuat dosa dan ia telah diliputi oleh dosanya, mereka itulah penghuni neraka, mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation Yea! Those who earn evil and by their sinfulness are engulfed - they are destined for the fire. therein to abide;

وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِ ۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٨٢

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang beriman serta beramal saleh, mereka itu penghuni surga; mereka kekal di dalamnya.

EN Translation whereas those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds -they are destined for paradise, therein to abide.

وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَ بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ لَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ اِحْسَانًا وَّذِى الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنِ وَقُوْلُوْا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا وَّاَقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَۗ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا مِّنْكُمْ وَاَنْتُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ٨٣

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari Bani Israil (yaitu): Janganlah kamu menyembah selain Allah, dan berbuat kebaikanlah kepada ibu bapa, kaum kerabat, anak-anak yatim, dan orang-orang miskin, serta ucapkanlah kata-kata yang baik kepada manusia, dirikanlah shalat dan tunaikanlah zakat. Kemudian kamu tidak memenuhi janji itu, kecuali sebahagian kecil daripada kamu, dan kamu selalu berpaling.

EN Translation AND LO! We accepted this solemn pledge from [you,] ' the children of Israel: "You shall worship none but God; and you shall do good unto your parents and kinsfolk, and the orphans, and the poor; and you shall speak unto all people in a kindly way; and you shall be constant in prayer; and you shall spend in charity.” And yet, save for a few of you, you turned away: for you are obstinate folk!

وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ لَا تَسْفِكُوْنَ دِمَاۤءَكُمْ وَلَا تُخْرِجُوْنَ اَنْفُسَكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِكُمْ ۖ ثُمَّ اَقْرَرْتُمْ وَاَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُوْنَ ٨٤

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari kamu (yaitu): kamu tidak akan menumpahkan darahmu (membunuh orang), dan kamu tidak akan mengusir dirimu (saudaramu sebangsa) dari kampung halamanmu, kemudian kamu berikrar (akan memenuhinya) sedang kamu mempersaksikannya.

EN Translation And lo! We accepted your solemn pledge that you would not shed one another's blood, and would not drive one another from your homelands - whereupon you acknowledged it; and thereto you bear witness [even now].

ثُمَّ اَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ تَقْتُلُوْنَ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُوْنَ فَرِيْقًا مِّنْكُمْ مِّنْ دِيَارِهِمْۖ تَظٰهَرُوْنَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالْاِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِۗ وَاِنْ يَّأْتُوْكُمْ اُسٰرٰى تُفٰدُوْهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ اِخْرَاجُهُمْ ۗ اَفَتُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتٰبِ وَتَكْفُرُوْنَ بِبَعْضٍۚ فَمَا جَزَاۤءُ مَنْ يَّفْعَلُ ذٰلِكَ مِنْكُمْ اِلَّا خِزْيٌ فِى الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚوَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يُرَدُّوْنَ اِلٰٓى اَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ٨٥

ID Translation Kemudian kamu (Bani Israil) membunuh dirimu (saudaramu sebangsa) dan mengusir segolongan daripada kamu dari kampung halamannya, kamu bantu membantu terhadap mereka dengan membuat dosa dan permusuhan; tetapi jika mereka datang kepadamu sebagai tawanan, kamu tebus mereka, padahal mengusir mereka itu (juga) terlarang bagimu. Apakah kamu beriman kepada sebahagian Al Kitab (Taurat) dan ingkar terhadap sebahagian yang lain? Tiadalah balasan bagi orang yang berbuat demikian daripadamu, melainkan kenistaan dalam kehidupan dunia, dan pada hari kiamat mereka dikembalikan kepada siksa yang sangat berat. Allah tidak lengah dari apa yang kamu perbuat.

EN Translation And yet, it is you who slay one another and drive some of your own people from their homelands, aiding one another against them in sin and hatred; but if they come to you as captives, you ransom them - although the very [act of] driving them away has been made unlawful to you!. Do you, then, believe in some parts of the divine writ and deny the truth of other parts? What, then, could be the reward of those among you who do such things but ignominy in the life of this world and, on the Day of Resurrection, commitment to most grievous suffering? For God is not unmindful of what you do.

اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْاٰخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ٨٦

ID Translation Itulah orang-orang yang membeli kehidupan dunia dengan (kehidupan) akhirat, maka tidak akan diringankan siksa mereka dan mereka tidak akan ditolong.

EN Translation All who buy the life of this world at the price of the life to come - their suffering shall not be lightened, nor shall they be succoured!

وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوْسَى الْكِتٰبَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ بِالرُّسُلِ ۖ وَاٰتَيْنَا عِيْسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنٰتِ وَاَيَّدْنٰهُ بِرُوْحِ الْقُدُسِۗ اَفَكُلَّمَا جَاۤءَكُمْ رَسُوْلٌۢ بِمَا لَا تَهْوٰىٓ اَنْفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَفَرِيْقًا كَذَّبْتُمْ وَفَرِيْقًا تَقْتُلُوْنَ ٨٧

ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah mendatangkan Al Kitab (Taurat) kepada Musa, dan Kami telah menyusulinya (berturut-turut) sesudah itu dengan rasul-rasul, dan telah Kami berikan bukti-bukti kebenaran (mukjizat) kepada Isa putera Maryam dan Kami memperkuatnya dengan Ruhul Qudus. Apakah setiap datang kepadamu seorang rasul membawa sesuatu (pelajaran) yang tidak sesuai dengan keinginanmu lalu kamu menyombong; maka beberapa orang (diantara mereka) kamu dustakan dan beberapa orang (yang lain) kamu bunuh?

EN Translation For, indeed, We vouchsafed unto Moses the divine writ and caused apostle after apostle to follow him; and We vouchsafed unto Jesus, the son of Mary, all evidence of the truth, and strengthened him with holy inspiration. [Yet] is it not so that every time an apostle came unto you with something that was not to your liking, you gloried in your arrogance, and to some of them you gave the lie, while others you would slay?

وَقَالُوْا قُلُوْبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۗ بَلْ لَّعَنَهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيْلًا مَّا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ٨٨

ID Translation Dan mereka berkata: "Hati kami tertutup". Tetapi sebenarnya Allah telah mengutuk mereka karena keingkaran mereka; maka sedikit sekali mereka yang beriman.

EN Translation But they say, "Our hearts are already full of knowledge." Nay, but God has rejected them because of their refusal to acknowledge the truth: for, few are the things in which they believe.

وَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ كِتٰبٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْۙ وَكَانُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُوْنَ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۚ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ مَّا عَرَفُوْا كَفَرُوْا بِهٖ ۖ فَلَعْنَةُ اللّٰهِ عَلَى الْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٨٩

ID Translation Dan setelah datang kepada mereka Al Quran dari Allah yang membenarkan apa yang ada pada mereka, padahal sebelumnya mereka biasa memohon (kedatangan Nabi) untuk mendapat kemenangan atas orang-orang kafir, maka setelah datang kepada mereka apa yang telah mereka ketahui, mereka lalu ingkar kepadanya. Maka laknat Allah-lah atas orang-orang yang ingkar itu.

EN Translation And whenever there came unto them a [new] revelation from God, confirming the truth already in their possession-and [bear in mind that] aforetime they used to pray for victory over those who were bent on denying the truth -: whenever there came unto them something which they recognized [as the truth], they would deny it. And God's rejection is the due of all who deny the truth.

بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْا بِهٖٓ اَنْفُسَهُمْ اَنْ يَّكْفُرُوْا بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ بَغْيًا اَنْ يُّنَزِّلَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖ ۚ فَبَاۤءُوْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلٰى غَضَبٍۗ وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ٩٠

ID Translation Alangkah buruknya (hasil perbuatan) mereka yang menjual dirinya sendiri dengan kekafiran kepada apa yang telah diturunkan Allah, karena dengki bahwa Allah menurunkan karunia-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya diantara hamba-hamba-Nya. Karena itu mereka mendapat murka sesudah (mendapat) kemurkaan. Dan untuk orang-orang kafir siksaan yang menghinakan.

EN Translation Vile is that [false pride] for which they have sold their own selves by denying the truth of what God has bestowed from on high, out of envy that God should bestow aught of His favour upon whomsoever He wills of His servants: and thus have they earned the burden of God's condemnation, over and over. And for those who deny the truth there is shameful suffering in store.

وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ اٰمِنُوْا بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوْا نُؤْمِنُ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَكْفُرُوْنَ بِمَا وَرَاۤءَهٗ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ فَلِمَ تَقْتُلُوْنَ اَنْۢبِيَاۤءَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ قَبْلُ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٩١

ID Translation Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: "Berimanlah kepada Al Quran yang diturunkan Allah," mereka berkata: "Kami hanya beriman kepada apa yang diturunkan kepada kami". Dan mereka kafir kepada Al Quran yang diturunkan sesudahnya, sedang Al Quran itu adalah (Kitab) yang hak; yang membenarkan apa yang ada pada mereka. Katakanlah: "Mengapa kamu dahulu membunuh nabi-nabi Allah jika benar kamu orang-orang yang beriman?"

EN Translation For when they are told, "Believe in what God has bestowed from on high," they reply, "We believe [only] in what has been bestowed on us"-and they deny the truth of everything else, although it be a truth confirming the one already in their possession. Say "Why, then, did you slay God's prophets aforetime, if you were (truly] believers?"

۞ وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَكُمْ مُّوْسٰى بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ وَاَنْتُمْ ظٰلِمُوْنَ ٩٢

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Musa telah datang kepadamu membawa bukti-bukti kebenaran (mukjizat), kemudian kamu jadikan anak sapi (sebagai sembahan) sesudah (kepergian)nya, dan sebenarnya kamu adalah orang-orang yang zalim.

EN Translation And indeed, there came unto you Moses with all evidence of the truth - and thereupon. in his absence, you took to worshipping the (golden] calf, and acted wickedly.

وَاِذْ اَخَذْنَا مِيْثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّوْرَۗ خُذُوْا مَآ اٰتَيْنٰكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاسْمَعُوْا ۗ قَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاُشْرِبُوْا فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمُ الْعِجْلَ بِكُفْرِهِمْ ۗ قُلْ بِئْسَمَا يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِهٖٓ اِيْمَانُكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُّؤْمِنِيْنَ ٩٣

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami mengambil janji dari kamu dan Kami angkat bukit (Thursina) di atasmu (seraya Kami berfirman): "Peganglah teguh-teguh apa yang Kami berikan kepadamu dan dengarkanlah!" Mereka menjawab: "Kami mendengar tetapi tidak mentaati". Dan telah diresapkan ke dalam hati mereka itu (kecintaan menyembah) anak sapi karena kekafirannya. Katakanlah: "Amat jahat perbuatan yang telah diperintahkan imanmu kepadamu jika betul kamu beriman (kepada Taurat).

EN Translation And, lo, We accepted your solemn pledge, raising Mount Sinai high above you, [saying,] "Hold fast with [all your] strength unto what We have vouchsafed you, and hearken unto it!" [But] they say, "We have heard, but we disobey" - for their hearts are filled to overflowing with love of the [golden] calf because of their refusal to acknowledge the truth. Say: "Vile is what this [false] belief of yours enjoins upon you-if indeed you are believers!"

قُلْ اِنْ كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْاٰخِرَةُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ خَالِصَةً مِّنْ دُوْنِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ٩٤

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Jika kamu (menganggap bahwa) kampung akhirat (surga) itu khusus untukmu di sisi Allah, bukan untuk orang lain, maka inginilah kematian(mu), jika kamu memang benar.

EN Translation Say: "If an afterlife with God is to be for you alone, to the exclusion of all other people, then. you should long for death-if what you say is true!"

وَلَنْ يَّتَمَنَّوْهُ اَبَدًاۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَيْدِيْهِمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ ۢ بِالظّٰلِمِيْنَ ٩٥

ID Translation Dan sekali-kali mereka tidak akan mengingini kematian itu selama-lamanya, karena kesalahan-kesalahan yang telah diperbuat oleh tangan mereka (sendiri), dan Allah Maha Mengetahui siapa orang-orang yang aniaya.

EN Translation But never will they long for it, because [they are aware] of what their hands have sent ahead in this world: and God has full knowledge of evildoers.

وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ اَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلٰى حَيٰوةٍ ۛوَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَشْرَكُوْا ۛيَوَدُّ اَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ اَلْفَ سَنَةٍۚ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهٖ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ اَنْ يُّعَمَّرَۗ وَاللّٰهُ بَصِيْرٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ٩٦

ID Translation Dan sungguh kamu akan mendapati mereka, manusia yang paling loba kepada kehidupan (di dunia), bahkan (lebih loba lagi) dari orang-orang musyrik. Masing-masing mereka ingin agar diberi umur seribu tahun, padahal umur panjang itu sekali-kali tidak akan menjauhkannya daripada siksa. Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation And thou wilt most certainly find that they cling to life more eagerly than any other people, even more than those who are bent on ascribing divinity to other beings beside God: every one of them would love to live a thousand years, although the grant of long life could not save him from suffering [in the hereafter]: for God sees all that they do.

قُلْ مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبْرِيْلَ فَاِنَّهٗ نَزَّلَهٗ عَلٰى قَلْبِكَ بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًى وَّبُشْرٰى لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ٩٧

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Barang siapa yang menjadi musuh Jibril, maka Jibril itu telah menurunkannya (Al Quran) ke dalam hatimu dengan seizin Allah; membenarkan apa (kitab-kitab) yang sebelumnya dan menjadi petunjuk serta berita gembira bagi orang-orang yang beriman.

EN Translation SAY [O Prophet]: "Whosoever is an enemy of Gabriel" -who,, verily, by God's leave, has brought down upon thy heart this [divine writ] which confirms the truth of whatever there still remains [of earlier revelations], and is a guidance and a glad tiding for the believers-:

مَنْ كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّلّٰهِ وَمَلٰۤىِٕكَتِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ وَجِبْرِيْلَ وَمِيْكٰىلَ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَدُوٌّ لِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ٩٨

ID Translation Barang siapa yang menjadi musuh Allah, malaikat-malaikat-Nya, rasul-rasul-Nya, Jibril dan Mikail, maka sesungguhnya Allah adalah musuh orang-orang kafir.

EN Translation "whosover is an enemy of God and His angels and His message-bearers, including Gabriel and Michael, [should know that,] verily, God is the enemy of all who deny the truth."

وَلَقَدْ اَنْزَلْنَآ اِلَيْكَ اٰيٰتٍۢ بَيِّنٰتٍۚ وَمَا يَكْفُرُ بِهَآ اِلَّا الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ٩٩

ID Translation Dan sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkan kepadamu ayat-ayat yang jelas; dan tak ada yang ingkar kepadanya, melainkan orang-orang yang fasik.

EN Translation For, clear messages indeed have We bestowed upon thee from on high; and none denies their truth save the iniquitous.

اَوَكُلَّمَا عٰهَدُوْا عَهْدًا نَّبَذَهٗ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ ۗ بَلْ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ ١٠٠

ID Translation Patutkah (mereka ingkar kepada ayat-ayat Allah), dan setiap kali mereka mengikat janji, segolongan mereka melemparkannya? Bahkan sebagian besar dari mereka tidak beriman.

EN Translation Is it not so that every time they made a promise [unto God], some of them cast it aside? Nay, indeed: most of them do not believe.

وَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْكِتٰبَۙ كِتٰبَ اللّٰهِ وَرَاۤءَ ظُهُوْرِهِمْ كَاَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَۖ ١٠١

ID Translation Dan setelah datang kepada mereka seorang Rasul dari sisi Allah yang membenarkan apa (kitab) yang ada pada mereka, sebahagian dari orang-orang yang diberi kitab (Taurat) melemparkan kitab Allah ke belakang (punggung)nya, seolah-olah mereka tidak mengetahui (bahwa itu adalah kitab Allah).

EN Translation And [even now,] when there has come unto them an apostle from God, confirming the truth already in their possession, some of those who were granted revelation aforetime cast the divine writ behind their backs as though unaware [of what it says],

وَاتَّبَعُوْا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيٰطِيْنُ عَلٰى مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ ۚ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ وَلٰكِنَّ الشَّيٰطِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُعَلِّمُوْنَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوْتَ وَمَارُوْتَ ۗ وَمَا يُعَلِّمٰنِ مِنْ اَحَدٍ حَتّٰى يَقُوْلَآ اِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ ۗ فَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوْنَ بِهٖ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهٖ ۗ وَمَا هُمْ بِضَاۤرِّيْنَ بِهٖ مِنْ اَحَدٍ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَيَتَعَلَّمُوْنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ ۗ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوْا لَمَنِ اشْتَرٰىهُ مَا لَهٗ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ ۗ وَلَبِئْسَ مَاشَرَوْا بِهٖٓ اَنْفُسَهُمْ ۗ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٠٢

ID Translation Dan mereka mengikuti apa yang dibaca oleh syaitan-syaitan pada masa kerajaan Sulaiman (dan mereka mengatakan bahwa Sulaiman itu mengerjakan sihir), padahal Sulaiman tidak kafir (tidak mengerjakan sihir), hanya syaitan-syaitan lah yang kafir (mengerjakan sihir). Mereka mengajarkan sihir kepada manusia dan apa yang diturunkan kepada dua orang malaikat di negeri Babil yaitu Harut dan Marut, sedang keduanya tidak mengajarkan (sesuatu) kepada seorangpun sebelum mengatakan: "Sesungguhnya kami hanya cobaan (bagimu), sebab itu janganlah kamu kafir". Maka mereka mempelajari dari kedua malaikat itu apa yang dengan sihir itu, mereka dapat menceraikan antara seorang (suami) dengan isterinya. Dan mereka itu (ahli sihir) tidak memberi mudharat dengan sihirnya kepada seorangpun, kecuali dengan izin Allah. Dan mereka mempelajari sesuatu yang tidak memberi mudharat kepadanya dan tidak memberi manfaat. Demi, sesungguhnya mereka telah meyakini bahwa barangsiapa yang menukarnya (kitab Allah) dengan sihir itu, tiadalah baginya keuntungan di akhirat, dan amat jahatlah perbuatan mereka menjual dirinya dengan sihir, kalau mereka mengetahui.

EN Translation and follow [instead] that which the evil ones used to practice during Solomon's reign - for it was not Solomon who denied the truth, but those evil ones denied it by teaching people sorcery -; and [they follow] that which has come down through the two angels in Babylon, Hurut and Marut-although these two never taught it to anyone without first declaring, "We are but a temptation to evil: do not, then, deny [God's] truth!" And they learn from these two how to create discord between a man and his wife; but whereas they can harm none thereby save by God's leave, they acquire a knowledge that only harms themselves and does not benefit them - although they know; indeed, that he who acquires this [knowledge] shall have no share in the good of the life to come. For, vile indeed is that [art] for which they have sold their own selves -had they but known it!

وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ اٰمَنُوْا وَاتَّقَوْا لَمَثُوْبَةٌ مِّنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ خَيْرٌ ۗ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ١٠٣

ID Translation Sesungguhnya kalau mereka beriman dan bertakwa, (niscaya mereka akan mendapat pahala), dan sesungguhnya pahala dari sisi Allah adalah lebih baik, kalau mereka mengetahui.

EN Translation And had they but believed and been conscious of Him, reward from God would indeed have brought them good-had they but known it!

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَقُوْلُوْا رَاعِنَا وَقُوْلُوا انْظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوْا وَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ ١٠٤

ID Translation Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu katakan (kepada Muhammad): "Raa'ina", tetapi katakanlah: "Unzhurna", dan "dengarlah". Dan bagi orang-orang yang kafir siksaan yang pedih.

EN Translation O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not say [to the Prophet], "Listen to us," but rather say, "Have patience with us," and hearken [unto him], since grievous suffering awaits those who deny the truth.

مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ اَنْ يُّنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ ١٠٥

ID Translation Orang-orang kafir dari Ahli Kitab dan orang-orang musyrik tiada menginginkan diturunkannya sesuatu kebaikan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu. Dan Allah menentukan siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya (untuk diberi) rahmat-Nya (kenabian); dan Allah mempunyai karunia yang besar.

EN Translation Neither those from among the followers of earlier revelation who are bent on denying the truth, nor those who ascribe divinity to other beings beside God, would like to see any good ever bestowed upon you from on high by your Sustainer; but God singles out for His grace whom He wills-for God is limitless in His great bounty.

۞ مَا نَنْسَخْ مِنْ اٰيَةٍ اَوْ نُنْسِهَا نَأْتِ بِخَيْرٍ مِّنْهَآ اَوْ مِثْلِهَا ۗ اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١٠٦

ID Translation Ayat mana saja yang Kami nasakhkan, atau Kami jadikan (manusia) lupa kepadanya, Kami datangkan yang lebih baik daripadanya atau yang sebanding dengannya. Tidakkah kamu mengetahui bahwa sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu?

EN Translation Any message which, We annul or consign to oblivion We replace with a better or a similar one. Dost thou not know that God has the power to will anything?

اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ١٠٧

ID Translation Tiadakah kamu mengetahui bahwa kerajaan langit dan bumi adalah kepunyaan Allah? Dan tiada bagimu selain Allah seorang pelindung maupun seorang penolong.

EN Translation Dost thou not know that God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth, and that besides God you have none to protect you or bring you succour?

اَمْ تُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ تَسْـَٔلُوْا رَسُوْلَكُمْ كَمَا سُىِٕلَ مُوْسٰى مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗوَمَنْ يَّتَبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالْاِيْمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاۤءَ السَّبِيْلِ ١٠٨

ID Translation Apakah kamu menghendaki untuk meminta kepada Rasul kamu seperti Bani Israil meminta kepada Musa pada jaman dahulu? Dan barangsiapa yang menukar iman dengan kekafiran, maka sungguh orang itu telah sesat dari jalan yang lurus.

EN Translation Would you, perchance, ask of the Apostle who has been sent unto you what was asked aforetime of Moses? But whoever chooses to deny the [evidence of the] truth, instead of believing in it, has already strayed from the right path.

وَدَّ كَثِيْرٌ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ لَوْ يَرُدُّوْنَكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ اِيْمَانِكُمْ كُفَّارًاۚ حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِنْدِ اَنْفُسِهِمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ ۚ فَاعْفُوْا وَاصْفَحُوْا حَتّٰى يَأْتِيَ اللّٰهُ بِاَمْرِهٖ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ١٠٩

ID Translation Sebahagian besar Ahli Kitab menginginkan agar mereka dapat mengembalikan kamu kepada kekafiran setelah kamu beriman, karena dengki yang (timbul) dari diri mereka sendiri, setelah nyata bagi mereka kebenaran. Maka maafkanlah dan biarkanlah mereka, sampai Allah mendatangkan perintah-Nya. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala sesuatu.

EN Translation Out of their selfish envy, many among the followers of earlier revelation would like to bring you back to denying the truth after you have attained to faith - [even] after the truth has become clear unto them. None the less, forgive and forbear, until God shall make manifest His will: behold, God has the power to will anything.

وَاَقِيْمُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتُوا الزَّكٰوةَ ۗ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُوْا لِاَنْفُسِكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوْهُ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ بَصِيْرٌ ١١٠

ID Translation Dan dirikanlah shalat dan tunaikanlah zakat. Dan kebaikan apa saja yang kamu usahakan bagi dirimu, tentu kamu akan mendapat pahala nya pada sisi Allah. Sesungguhnya Alah Maha Melihat apa-apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation And be constant in prayer, and render the purifying dues; for, whatever good deed you send ahead for your own selves, you shall find it with God: behold, God sees all that you do.

وَقَالُوْا لَنْ يَّدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ اِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰى ۗ تِلْكَ اَمَانِيُّهُمْ ۗ قُلْ هَاتُوْا بُرْهَانَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ١١١

ID Translation Dan mereka (Yahudi dan Nasrani) berkata: "Sekali-kali tidak akan masuk surga kecuali orang-orang (yang beragama) Yahudi atau Nasrani". Demikian itu (hanya) angan-angan mereka yang kosong belaka. Katakanlah: "Tunjukkanlah bukti kebenaranmu jika kamu adalah orang yang benar".

EN Translation AND THEY claim, "None shall ever enter paradise unless he be a Jew" - or, "a Christian". Such are their wishful beliefs! Say: "Produce an evidence for what you are claiming, if what you say is true!"

بَلٰى مَنْ اَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهٗ لِلّٰهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهٗٓ اَجْرُهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖۖ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُوْنَ ١١٢

ID Translation (Tidak demikian) bahkan barangsiapa yang menyerahkan diri kepada Allah, sedang ia berbuat kebajikan, maka baginya pahala pada sisi Tuhannya dan tidak ada kekhawatiran terhadap mereka dan tidak (pula) mereka bersedih hati.

EN Translation Yea, indeed: everyone who surrenders his whole being unto God, and is a doer of good withal, shall have his reward with his Sustainer; and all such need have no fear, and neither shall they grieve.

وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ لَيْسَتِ النَّصٰرٰى عَلٰى شَيْءٍۖ وَّقَالَتِ النَّصٰرٰى لَيْسَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عَلٰى شَيْءٍۙ وَّهُمْ يَتْلُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَۗ كَذٰلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۚ فَاللّٰهُ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فِيْمَا كَانُوْا فِيْهِ يَخْتَلِفُوْنَ ١١٣

ID Translation Dan orang-orang Yahudi berkata: "Orang-orang Nasrani itu tidak mempunyai suatu pegangan", dan orang-orang Nasrani berkata: "Orang-orang Yahudi tidak mempunyai sesuatu pegangan," padahal mereka (sama-sama) membaca Al Kitab. Demikian pula orang-orang yang tidak mengetahui, mengatakan seperti ucapan mereka itu. Maka Allah akan mengadili diantara mereka pada hari Kiamat, tentang apa-apa yang mereka berselisih padanya.

EN Translation Furthermore, the Jews assert, "The Christians have no valid ground for their beliefs," while the Christians assert, "The Jews have no valid ground for their beliefs" - and both quote the divine writ! Even thus, like unto what they say, have [always] spoken those who were devoid of knowledge;" but it is God who will judge between them on Resurrection Day with regard to all on which they were wont to differ.

وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ مَّنَعَ مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰهِ اَنْ يُّذْكَرَ فِيْهَا اسْمُهٗ وَسَعٰى فِيْ خَرَابِهَاۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ اَنْ يَّدْخُلُوْهَآ اِلَّا خَاۤىِٕفِيْنَ ەۗ لَهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَّلَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيْمٌ ١١٤

ID Translation Dan siapakah yang lebih aniaya daripada orang yang menghalanghalangi menyebut nama Allah dalam mesjid-mesjid-Nya, dan berusaha untuk merobohkannya? Mereka itu tidak sepatutnya masuk ke dalamnya (mesjid Allah), kecuali dengan rasa takut (kepada Allah). Mereka di dunia mendapat kehinaan dan di akhirat mendapat siksa yang berat.

EN Translation Hence, who could be more wicked than those who bar the mention of God's name from [any of] His houses of worship and strive for their ruin, [although] they have no right to enter them save in fear [of God]? For them, in this world, there is ignominy in store; and for them, in the life to come, awesome suffering.

وَلِلّٰهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ فَاَيْنَمَا تُوَلُّوْا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ اللّٰهِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيْمٌ ١١٥

ID Translation Dan kepunyaan Allah-lah timur dan barat, maka kemanapun kamu menghadap di situlah wajah Allah. Sesungguhnya Allah Maha Luas (rahmat-Nya) lagi Maha Mengetahui.

EN Translation And God's is the east and the west: and wherever you turn, there is God's countenance. Behold, God is infinite, all-knowing.

وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللّٰهُ وَلَدًا ۙسُبْحٰنَهٗ ۗ بَلْ لَّهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ كُلٌّ لَّهٗ قَانِتُوْنَ ١١٦

ID Translation Mereka (orang-orang kafir) berkata: "Allah mempunyai anak". Maha Suci Allah, bahkan apa yang ada di langit dan di bumi adalah kepunyaan Allah; semua tunduk kepada-Nya.

EN Translation And yet some people assert, "God has taken unto Himself a son!" Limitless is He in His glory! Nay, but His is all that is in the heavens and on earth; all things devoutly obey His will.

بَدِيْعُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِۗ وَاِذَا قَضٰٓى اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا يَقُوْلُ لَهٗ كُنْ فَيَكُوْنُ ١١٧

ID Translation Allah Pencipta langit dan bumi, dan bila Dia berkehendak (untuk menciptakan) sesuatu, maka (cukuplah) Dia hanya mengatakan kepadanya: "Jadilah!" Lalu jadilah ia.

EN Translation The Originator is He of the heavens and the earth: and when He wills a thing to be, He but says unto it, "Be" -and it is.

وَقَالَ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ لَوْلَا يُكَلِّمُنَا اللّٰهُ اَوْ تَأْتِيْنَآ اٰيَةٌ ۗ كَذٰلِكَ قَالَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِّثْلَ قَوْلِهِمْ ۗ تَشَابَهَتْ قُلُوْبُهُمْ ۗ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا الْاٰيٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يُّوْقِنُوْنَ ١١٨

ID Translation Dan orang-orang yang tidak mengetahui berkata: "Mengapa Allah tidak (langsung) berbicara dengan kami atau datang tanda-tanda kekuasaan-Nya kepada kami?" Demikian pula orang-orang yang sebelum mereka telah mengatakan seperti ucapan mereka itu; hati mereka serupa. Sesungguhnya Kami telah menjelaskan tanda-tanda kekuasaan Kami kepada kaum yang yakin.

EN Translation AND [only] those who are devoid of knowledge say, "Why does God not speak unto us, nor is a [miraculous] sign shown to us?" Even thus, like unto what they, say, spoke those who lived before their time their hearts are all alike. Indeed, We have made all the signs manifest unto people who are endowed with inner certainty.

اِنَّآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيْرًا وَّنَذِيْرًاۙ وَّلَا تُسْـَٔلُ عَنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْجَحِيْمِ ١١٩

ID Translation Sesungguhnya Kami telah mengutusmu (Muhammad) dengan kebenaran; sebagai pembawa berita gembira dan pemberi peringatan, dan kamu tidak akan diminta (pertanggungan jawab) tentang penghuni-penghuni neraka.

EN Translation Verily, We have sent thee [O Prophet] with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: and thou shalt not be held accountable for those who are destined for the blazing fire.

وَلَنْ تَرْضٰى عَنْكَ الْيَهُوْدُ وَلَا النَّصٰرٰى حَتّٰى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ ۗ قُلْ اِنَّ هُدَى اللّٰهِ هُوَ الْهُدٰى ۗ وَلَىِٕنِ اتَّبَعْتَ اَهْوَاۤءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذِيْ جَاۤءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ ۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ ١٢٠

ID Translation Orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani tidak akan senang kepada kamu hingga kamu mengikuti agama mereka. Katakanlah: "Sesungguhnya petunjuk Allah itulah petunjuk (yang benar)". Dan sesungguhnya jika kamu mengikuti kemauan mereka setelah pengetahuan datang kepadamu, maka Allah tidak lagi menjadi pelindung dan penolong bagimu.

EN Translation For, never will the Jews be pleased with thee. nor yet the Christians, unless thou follow their own creeds. Say: "Behold, God's guidance is the only true guidance." And, indeed, if thou shouldst follow their errant views after all the knowledge that has come unto thee. thou wouldst have none to protect thee from God, and none to bring thee succour.

اَلَّذِيْنَ اٰتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ يَتْلُوْنَهٗ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهٖۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ ۗ وَمَنْ يَّكْفُرْ بِهٖ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْخٰسِرُوْنَ ١٢١

ID Translation Orang-orang yang telah Kami berikan Al Kitab kepadanya, mereka membacanya dengan bacaan yang sebenarnya, mereka itu beriman kepadanya. Dan barangsiapa yang ingkar kepadanya, maka mereka itulah orang-orang yang rugi.

EN Translation Those unto whom We have vouchsafed the divine writ [and who] follow it as it ought to be followed -it is they who [truly] believe in it; whereas all who choose to deny its truth -it is they, they who are the losers!

يٰبَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ اذْكُرُوْا نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَاَنِّيْ فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ١٢٢

ID Translation Hai Bani Israil, ingatlah akan nikmat-Ku yang telah Ku-anugerahkan kepadamu dan Aku telah melabihkan kamu atas segala umat.

EN Translation O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and how I favoured you above all other people;

وَاتَّقُوْا يَوْمًا لَّا تَجْزِيْ نَفْسٌ عَنْ نَّفْسٍ شَيْـًٔا وَّلَا يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَّلَا تَنْفَعُهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَّلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُوْنَ ١٢٣

ID Translation Dan takutlah kamu kepada suatu hari di waktu seseorang tidak dapat menggantikan seseorang lain sedikitpun dan tidak akan diterima suatu tebusan daripadanya dan tidak akan memberi manfaat sesuatu syafa'at kepadanya dan tidak (pula) mereka akan ditolong.

EN Translation and remain conscious of [the coming of] a Day when no human being shall in the least avail another, nor shall ransom be accepted from any of them, nor shall intercession be of any use to them, and none shall be succoured.

۞ وَاِذِ ابْتَلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ رَبُّهٗ بِكَلِمٰتٍ فَاَتَمَّهُنَّ ۗ قَالَ اِنِّيْ جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ اِمَامًا ۗ قَالَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِيْ ۗ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهْدِى الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ١٢٤

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Ibrahim diuji Tuhannya dengan beberapa kalimat (perintah dan larangan), lalu Ibrahim menunaikannya. Allah berfirman: "Sesungguhnya Aku akan menjadikanmu imam bagi seluruh manusia". Ibrahim berkata: "(Dan saya mohon juga) dari keturunanku". Allah berfirman: "Janji-Ku (ini) tidak mengenai orang yang zalim".

EN Translation And [remember this:] when his Sustainer tried Abraham by [His] commandments and the latter fulfilled them, He said: "Behold, I shall make thee a leader of men. "Abraham asked: "And [wilt Thou make leaders] of my offspring as well? "[God] answered: "My covenant does not embrace the evildoers."

وَاِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَاَمْنًاۗ وَاتَّخِذُوْا مِنْ مَّقَامِ اِبْرٰهٖمَ مُصَلًّىۗ وَعَهِدْنَآ اِلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ اَنْ طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّاۤىِٕفِيْنَ وَالْعٰكِفِيْنَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُوْدِ ١٢٥

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Kami menjadikan rumah itu (Baitullah) tempat berkumpul bagi manusia dan tempat yang aman. Dan jadikanlah sebahagian maqam Ibrahim tempat shalat. Dan telah Kami perintahkan kepada Ibrahim dan Ismail: "Bersihkanlah rumah-Ku untuk orang-orang yang thawaf, yang i'tikaf, yang ruku' dan yang sujud".

EN Translation AND LO! We made the Temple a goal to which people might repair again and again, and a sanctuary: take then, the place whereon Abraham once stood as your place of prayer." And thus did We command Abraham and Ishmael: "Purify My Temple for those who will walk around it, and those who will abide near it in meditation, and those who will bow down and prostrate themselves [in prayer]."

وَاِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰهٖمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هٰذَا بَلَدًا اٰمِنًا وَّارْزُقْ اَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الثَّمَرٰتِ مَنْ اٰمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۗ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَاُمَتِّعُهٗ قَلِيْلًا ثُمَّ اَضْطَرُّهٗٓ اِلٰى عَذَابِ النَّارِ ۗ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيْرُ ١٢٦

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Ibrahim berdoa: "Ya Tuhanku, jadikanlah negeri ini, negeri yang aman sentosa, dan berikanlah rezeki dari buah-buahan kepada penduduknya yang beriman diantara mereka kepada Allah dan hari kemudian. Allah berfirman: "Dan kepada orang yang kafirpun Aku beri kesenangan sementara, kemudian Aku paksa ia menjalani siksa neraka dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali".

EN Translation And, lo, Abraham prayed: "O my Sustainer! Make this a land secure, and grant its people fruitful sustenance - such of them as believe in God and the Last Day." [God] answered: "And whoever shall deny the truth, him will I let enjoy himself for a short while -but in the end I shall drive him to suffering through fire: and how vile a journey's end!"

وَاِذْ يَرْفَعُ اِبْرٰهٖمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلُۗ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۗ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ١٢٧

ID Translation Dan (ingatlah), ketika Ibrahim meninggikan (membina) dasar-dasar Baitullah bersama Ismail (seraya berdoa): "Ya Tuhan kami terimalah daripada kami (amalan kami), sesungguhnya Engkaulah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui".

EN Translation And when Abraham and Ishmael were raising the foundations of the Temple, [they prayed:] "O our Sustainer! Accept Thou this from us: for, verily, Thou alone art all-hearing, all-knowing!

رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِنَآ اُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَۖ وَاَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ ١٢٨

ID Translation Ya Tuhan kami, jadikanlah kami berdua orang yang tunduk patuh kepada Engkau dan (jadikanlah) diantara anak cucu kami umat yang tunduk patuh kepada Engkau dan tunjukkanlah kepada kami cara-cara dan tempat-tempat ibadat haji kami, dan terimalah taubat kami. Sesungguhnya Engkaulah Yang Maha Penerima taubat lagi Maha Penyayang.

EN Translation "O our Sustainer! Make us surrender ourselves unto Thee, and make out of our offspring a community that shall surrender itself unto Thee, and show us our ways of worship, and accept our repentance: for, verily, Thou alone art the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace!

رَبَّنَا وَابْعَثْ فِيْهِمْ رَسُوْلًا مِّنْهُمْ يَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِكَ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَيُزَكِّيْهِمْ ۗ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ١٢٩

ID Translation Ya Tuhan kami, utuslah untuk mereka sesorang Rasul dari kalangan mereka, yang akan membacakan kepada mereka ayat-ayat Engkau, dan mengajarkan kepada mereka Al Kitab (Al Quran) dan Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah) serta mensucikan mereka. Sesungguhnya Engkaulah yang Maha Kuasa lagi Maha Bijaksana.

EN Translation "O our Sustainer! Raise up from the midst of our off spring an apostle from among themselves, who shall convey unto them Thy messages, and impart unto them revelation as well as wisdom, and cause them to grow in purity: for, verily, Thou alone art almighty, truly wise!"

وَمَنْ يَّرْغَبُ عَنْ مِّلَّةِ اِبْرٰهٖمَ اِلَّا مَنْ سَفِهَ نَفْسَهٗ ۗوَلَقَدِ اصْطَفَيْنٰهُ فِى الدُّنْيَا ۚوَاِنَّهٗ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ١٣٠

ID Translation Dan tidak ada yang benci kepada agama Ibrahim, melainkan orang yang memperbodoh dirinya sendiri, dan sungguh Kami telah memilihnya di dunia dan sesungguhnya dia di akhirat benar-benar termasuk orang-orang yang saleh.

EN Translation And who, unless he be weak of mind, would want to abandon Abraham's creed, seeing that We have indeed raised him high in this world, and that, verily, in the life to come he shall be among the righteous?

اِذْ قَالَ لَهٗ رَبُّهٗٓ اَسْلِمْۙ قَالَ اَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ١٣١

ID Translation Ketika Tuhannya berfirman kepadanya: "Tunduk patuhlah!" Ibrahim menjawab: "Aku tunduk patuh kepada Tuhan semesta alam".

EN Translation When his Sustainer said to him, "Surrender thyself unto Me!" - he answered, "I have surrendered myself unto [Thee,] the Sustainer of all the worlds."

وَوَصّٰى بِهَآ اِبْرٰهٖمُ بَنِيْهِ وَيَعْقُوْبُۗ يٰبَنِيَّ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ اصْطَفٰى لَكُمُ الدِّيْنَ فَلَا تَمُوْتُنَّ اِلَّا وَاَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ ۗ ١٣٢

ID Translation Dan Ibrahim telah mewasiatkan ucapan itu kepada anak-anaknya, demikian pula Ya'qub. (Ibrahim berkata): "Hai anak-anakku! Sesungguhnya Allah telah memilih agama ini bagimu, maka janganlah kamu mati kecuali dalam memeluk agama Islam".

EN Translation And this very thing did Abraham bequeath unto his children, and [so did] Jacob: "O my children! Behold, God has granted you the purest faith; so do not allow death to overtake you ere you have surrendered yourselves unto Him."

اَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَاۤءَ اِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوْبَ الْمَوْتُۙ اِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيْهِ مَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِيْۗ قَالُوْا نَعْبُدُ اِلٰهَكَ وَاِلٰهَ اٰبَاۤىِٕكَ اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ اِلٰهًا وَّاحِدًاۚ وَنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ ١٣٣

ID Translation Adakah kamu hadir ketika Ya'qub kedatangan (tanda-tanda) maut, ketika ia berkata kepada anak-anaknya: "Apa yang kamu sembah sepeninggalku?" Mereka menjawab: "Kami akan menyembah Tuhanmu dan Tuhan nenek moyangmu, Ibrahim, Ismail dan Ishaq, (yaitu) Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan kami hanya tunduk patuh kepada-Nya".

EN Translation Nay, but you [yourselves, O children of Israel,] bear witness that when death was approaching Jacob, he said unto his sons: "Whom will you worship after I am gone?" They answered: "We will worship thy God, the God of thy forefathers Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, the One God; and unto Him we surrender ourselves."

تِلْكَ اُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُمْ مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُوْنَ عَمَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٣٤

ID Translation Itu adalah umat yang lalu; baginya apa yang telah diusahakannya dan bagimu apa yang sudah kamu usahakan, dan kamu tidak akan diminta pertanggungan jawab tentang apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.

EN Translation Now those people have passed away; unto them shall be accounted what they have earned, and unto you, what you have earned; and you will not be, judged on the strength of what they did.

وَقَالُوْا كُوْنُوْا هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰى تَهْتَدُوْا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ اِبْرٰهٖمَ حَنِيْفًا ۗوَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ١٣٥

ID Translation Dan mereka berkata: "Hendaklah kamu menjadi penganut agama Yahudi atau Nasrani, niscaya kamu mendapat petunjuk". Katakanlah: "Tidak, melainkan (kami mengikuti) agama Ibrahim yang lurus. Dan bukanlah dia (Ibrahim) dari golongan orang musyrik".

EN Translation AND THEY say, "Be Jews" - or, "Christians" - "and you shall be on the right path." Say: "Nay, but [ours is] the creed of Abraham, who turned away from all that is false, and was not of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God."

قُوْلُوْٓا اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِ وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْنَا وَمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلٰٓى اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ اُوْتِيَ مُوْسٰى وَعِيْسٰى وَمَآ اُوْتِيَ النَّبِيُّوْنَ مِنْ رَّبِّهِمْۚ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ ١٣٦

ID Translation Katakanlah (hai orang-orang mukmin): "Kami beriman kepada Allah dan apa yang diturunkan kepada kami, dan apa yang diturunkan kepada Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub dan anak cucunya, dan apa yang diberikan kepada Musa dan Isa serta apa yang diberikan kepada nabi-nabi dari Tuhannya. Kami tidak membeda-bedakan seorangpun diantara mereka dan kami hanya tunduk patuh kepada-Nya".

EN Translation Say: "We believe in God, and in that which has been bestowed from on high upon us, and that which has been bestowed upon Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and, their descendants, and that which has been vouchsafed to Moses and Jesus; and that which has been vouchsafed to all the [other] prophets by their Sustainer: we make no distinction between any of them. And it is unto Him that we surrender ourselves."

فَاِنْ اٰمَنُوْا بِمِثْلِ مَآ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِهٖ فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا ۚوَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاِنَّمَا هُمْ فِيْ شِقَاقٍۚ فَسَيَكْفِيْكَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚوَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ۗ ١٣٧

ID Translation Maka jika mereka beriman kepada apa yang kamu telah beriman kepadanya, sungguh mereka telah mendapat petunjuk; dan jika mereka berpaling, sesungguhnya mereka berada dalam permusuhan (dengan kamu). Maka Allah akan memelihara kamu dari mereka. Dan Dialah Yang Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui.

EN Translation And if [others] come to believe in the way you believe, they will indeed find themselves on the right path; and if they turn away, it is but they who will be deeply in the wrong, and God will protect thee from them: for He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing.

صِبْغَةَ اللّٰهِ ۚ وَمَنْ اَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ صِبْغَةً ۖ وَّنَحْنُ لَهٗ عٰبِدُوْنَ ١٣٨

ID Translation Shibghah Allah. Dan siapakah yang lebih baik shibghahnya dari pada Allah? Dan hanya kepada-Nya-lah kami menyembah.

EN Translation [Say: "Our life takes its] hue from God! And who could give a better hue [to life] than God, if we but truly worship Him?"

قُلْ اَتُحَاۤجُّوْنَنَا فِى اللّٰهِ وَهُوَ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْۚ وَلَنَآ اَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ اَعْمَالُكُمْۚ وَنَحْنُ لَهٗ مُخْلِصُوْنَ ۙ ١٣٩

ID Translation Katakanlah: "Apakah kamu memperdebatkan dengan kami tentang Allah, padahal Dia adalah Tuhan kami dan Tuhan kamu; bagi kami amalan kami, dan bagi kamu amalan kamu dan hanya kepada-Nya kami mengikhlaskan hati,

EN Translation Say [to the Jews and the Christians]: "Do you argue with us about God? But He is our Sustainer as well as your Sustainer - and unto us shall be accounted our deeds, and unto you, your deeds; and it- is unto Him alone that we devote ourselves.

اَمْ تَقُوْلُوْنَ اِنَّ اِبْرٰهٖمَ وَاِسْمٰعِيْلَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ وَالْاَسْبَاطَ كَانُوْا هُوْدًا اَوْ نَصٰرٰى ۗ قُلْ ءَاَنْتُمْ اَعْلَمُ اَمِ اللّٰهُ ۗ وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ كَتَمَ شَهَادَةً عِنْدَهٗ مِنَ اللّٰهِ ۗ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ١٤٠

ID Translation ataukah kamu (hai orang-orang Yahudi dan Nasrani) mengatakan bahwa Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub dan anak cucunya, adalah penganut agama Yahudi atau Nasrani?" Katakanlah: "Apakah kamu lebih mengetahui ataukah Allah, dan siapakah yang lebih zalim dari pada orang yang menyembunyikan syahadah dari Allah yang ada padanya?" Dan Allah sekali-kali tiada lengah dari apa yang kamu kerjakan.

EN Translation "Do you claim that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and their descendants were `Jews' or `Christians'?" Say: "Do you know more than God does? And who could be more wicked than he who suppresses a testimony given to him by God? Yet God is not unmindful of what you do.

تِلْكَ اُمَّةٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَلَكُمْ مَّا كَسَبْتُمْ ۚ وَلَا تُسْـَٔلُوْنَ عَمَّا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ ۔ ١٤١

ID Translation Itu adalah umat yang telah lalu; baginya apa yang diusahakannya dan bagimu apa yang kamu usahakan; dan kamu tidak akan diminta pertanggungan jawab tentang apa yang telah mereka kerjakan.
